281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum very volatile on: February 08, 2020, 05:13:55 PM
Ethereum coin ia very volatile to fluctuate now and it's so very hard to predict wthether to increase or decrease. But somehow we wish it to increase into huge posotive percentage so that it would benefit us bounty hunters.
Well, expect that the market is always unpredictable due to some factors such as the volatility rate that is, I think a good factors and very appropriate for investment. Besides, I've read a lot of news that Josh Rager(a crypto veteran) pointing out that with all the bullish news development on ETH 2.0, buying at $200 is an opportunity.
282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would make you stop gambling? on: February 08, 2020, 02:52:22 PM
are there any things in life that would make you stop gambling?

the two things that come to my mind are:
- making enough or a lot of money.
- finding a passion (even relationshiprelated or life/activity related) that changes your priorities.

but can you see other things than that?
When i almost lost my family, when there comes a time that i become addicted and my wife almost lose me,the laat time she talk to me saying i better choose between my kids and her or my gambling addiction, that is the main reason i need to stop gambling

But now as i am a new person ?i can just play and bet with moderation and with my wifes consent ,sometimes we even play together.
Personally, I agree that our family was the most powerful thing that you can think of to shake of this gambling addiction. If you are the kind of person who loved his family then this is the perfect reason to get out of this industry. Gambling addiction harms everyone surrounds you and even for yourself and to leave this behaviour you could have either ask for some help or turn it over in other recreational activities. Honestly, gambling isn't bad especially if you are just using it as for fun but as a source of income, it would be different.
283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: **TAKE YOUR COINS OFF EXCHANGES** on: February 08, 2020, 01:45:57 PM
Hi Everyone,

We need to start telling everyone across the crypto community to take their whole balance of crypto from the exchanges to their OWN WALLET .

That is the ONLY way to stop manipulation. Furthermore, it will create a huge shortage of coins on every single exchange and end up in a gigantic bull run

REMEMBER. Not your keys. Not your Bitcoins
I don't think it will trigger a bull run or make something differences in the market but I agree that we all should pull out our coins from exchanges not just because it is never been good storage but to reduce the risk exposure of our crypto as well.
But I think if you are a person who used to daily trade, keeping your crypto in exchanges for a while isn't bad either the fact that it would be costly if you take it out and save it in your pocket all the time.
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years on: February 08, 2020, 12:54:27 PM
-snip
I think even though the price of Bitcoin is soaring high, but if we only spend 1 $ every day I think it does not burden our abilities. This is a good idea to save Bitcoin in the future because we know many believe that the price of Bitcoin will increase in the future. But of course you have other money left in your wallet for daily needs.
Yes, this may be a good idea to save money for future purposes. The price of bitcoin is increasing over the years so if this has been done over the last five years, the value of that investment will be in a better value.
And for your concern about the money that will be left in the wallet, I think $1 is not that high that you actually need to think about the money you need to spend.
1$ was indeed not a high value(for some places) but the problem is we don't know way back then that Bitcoin would become successful to gain such pretty good value. And if someone foresight or had come to an idea of investing it then he's probably a millionaire now, but the truth is, even if there's a person who did that there's a chance for him to feel panic especially as the market drown that everyone mostly thinks it is over for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can more ATM's increase adoption for Bitcoin? on: February 07, 2020, 04:44:09 PM
I remember the article that I used to read before that there are now having a lot of Bitcoin ATM machine across the world especially in US. Personally, I would like to have a Bitcoin ATM machines across the world but first legalization must be done first so that local businesses accept this kind of monetary system. I think this won't be a problem for rich countries but I don't think that it will be that effective in 3rd world countries hence, there will be still some limitations.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Crime is getting Worse, what do we do? on: February 07, 2020, 02:07:51 PM
https://news.yahoo.com/cryptocurrency-thefts-fraud-hit-1-211446327.html

In Q1 alone of 2019 there was $356m in theft of digital currencies from exchanges and scams while losses from fraud hit 851m. This number includes the QuadrigaX scam which accounts to about $134m in total losses.

What can we do to help stop these from happening and getting worse?
Just like what you have said there's a big portion of disposses has been happened in exchanges therefore, I think the best solution is to never leave your funds in the platform but rather take it our ands save it on your own personal wallet.  And to reduce the risk exposure of your funds, make sure that you keys, passphrase and password keep in the safe place, diversify your bankroll would be a better option as well.

288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto at Gas Stations on: February 06, 2020, 04:12:46 PM
Now, imagine if a mainstream company creates a Blockchain token that could be used at Gas Stations worldwide? This would definitely increase adoption of crypto and Blockchain tech within the mainstream world like never before. After all, paying for gas is a necessity these days for transportation. This, coupled up with self-serve, could be quite revolutionary. I'd imagine people driving to a gas station and paying with crypto from their phone in their own car to get their gas tank filled automatically. This hasn't been implemented yet, but it would be cool to see it happen someday.

What are your thoughts? Huh
It is bizarre to think this kind of idea to pop up out of nowhere and seems inappropriate in this kind of transaction due to the fact that it would be kind dangerous as everyone said in their comment. I guess much better if we will leave out this business in fiat monetary system they doesn't involve any kind of technological devices. Actually, there's plenty of businesses that would be much better and appropriate upon the use of Blockchain tokens such as transportation fee and more.
289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top analyst warns a hard dump. on: February 06, 2020, 03:07:49 PM
This is not true. What youre going to believe some random analyst creating fud where exactly the opposite is what was happening? Take a look on the current price of bitcoin and some other altcoins. It seems that it will not be the case the market now are increasing and the current level now is 9.8k and I'm seeing the breakout of the 10k level. When this happened and become stable to that level I'm smelling some early bull run to be honest. Good thing I have some hold already bought when it was on 6k level. Not bad IMO.
Well, it is good to hear to you had manage to bought at 6k level because most of the people are expecting Bitcoin to drop even more as halving enters however it turns out that it grows even more that is why they miss the opportunity. Learnings here is if you have seen an opportunity just grab without hesitation because no matter what level you bough whether low or high Bitcoin will still eventually grows and you will surely get your desire profit.
And one thing, don't rely on someone's else analysis but rather make your own and take a deep look in the chart and make something out of it.
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying real estate with Bitcoin on: February 06, 2020, 02:35:32 PM
With the increased adoption of Bitcoin among mainstream businesses and companies alike, we've seen the possibility of exchanging our Bitcoin to tangible assets for our own benefit. The pioneer cryptocurrency has reached far enough to become recognized as a legitimate form of payment within the mainstream world. Institutional investors, and even banks have realized the benefits of Bitcoin, resulting in increased demand across the market. I've seen forex trading with Bitcoin, and even precious metal retailers which accept Bitcoin as payment.

This makes wonder whenever it's possible to buy real estate with Bitcoin? Because if it does, then there would be nothing left for Bitcoin to become used as a serious cryptocurrency for daily payments (other than scaling the Blockchain and increasing privacy). Do you think that mainstream companies or businesses will be able to accept Bitcoin for real estate? Or it is too early to tell? Any thoughts? Huh
Bitcoin is seemingly getting closer to mainstream or we could simply say that is already been in adoption. Thus, I am pretty sure that there will be few businesses or companies who already have been accept this kind of monetary system. Moreover, since it is already been introduced and saw its potential I am pretty sure sure that there will be some individuals who is willing to take Bitcoin as payment for their P2P transaction. Hence, procurement of real estate via Bitcoin is therefore possible.
291  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Trading Strategies- Best Practices on: February 06, 2020, 04:18:56 AM
I have seen least newbies being consistent. Most of the newbies can think that they already have great knowledge which does not need any much replenishment which might make them directly move onto trades without going through any minor steps which might lead to to have loss.

There are a number of smaller points which should be considered before moving onto real trades because trading with the huge volatile markets would never give you profits if you are unaware about the steps to minimize your risk, maximize your profits, diversify your portfolio, etc because these small things are going to help you on a major extend. That's why I always prefer each and every newbie to spend hours in learning about these points before they could trade with any coin.
This is probably one of the biggest flaws of newbies, they watch a few videos and then they think they are already expert traders that can make a lot of money in the markets in a rapid way, but the markets are more complex than that, if things begin to go in the wrong direction you can be sure they are going to take mistaken decisions and they will try to recover the money they lost as soon as they can, and the markets are very harsh to people like that and sooner rather than later they will find themselves without any money.
They think that they can easily learn trading by just watching videos in the internet. They do not know that there is a process that is required to understand fully the market. It takes months to understand and to become familiar to the price action. Newbies are most likely a arrogant persons because they thought that they fully aware in all of the information in trading just because they watched informative videos.
I think it is normal for newbies to be an arrogant since they were just starting, they are only suppose to procure experience and knowledge that is why my recommendation for newbies is to use a small amount just to familiarize with these transaction. Watching some videos with regards trading is great but this won't be enough to learn all the things we should learn, use multiple way to earn knowledge and experience in order to become an expert trader.
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: process vs outcome on: February 05, 2020, 04:50:48 PM
I've seen a guy asking for advice about lotteries and it got me thinking. I don't understand why people even like lotteries. You don't do much, most likely lose and have to wait for the outcome for a long time. Perhaps, people are interested in the possibility of winning, but that would mean they are not really into gambling as the process. So what is it for you, do you play only for the sake of winning or do you care about the process of playing/researching/anticipating the outcome? I think that the process is that is attractive in gambling, and while the outcome surely matters, I would not like to wait for a long while to learn it.
Technically, I think both outcome and process are necessary not only in gambling but also in different industry.  If you will take a look, process is really significant because this will only tell how or what supposed outcome it will be. However, it still depends on what game you are unto like if you play the pure luck based game I don't think process is necessary anymore but if it is skill based game like poker then process really matters.
Now in the case of lotteries I don't think process needed anymore the fact numbers are just picked randomly thus can be classified as pure luck based game.
293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest Crypto on: February 05, 2020, 03:35:54 PM
I am really thinking about investing over $15000 of my savings into Bitcoin. Would this be wise? Is BTC safe and stable at this point and this time?
$15000 is big amount of money though it is really reasonable to place your investment in Bitcoin due to the fact this can guarantee to give an enough profit. However, I think it would still much better if you will diverse it and put in different top performing altcoins such as ETH, XRP, etc just to lessen the potential risk and as investors you should probably know the philosophy of not placing all of your eggs in one basket. Personally, investing in BTC is safe but I think it varies on the time you were going to invest and the amount of patience you have because there are some cases that a person tend to lose their cool and used to panic sell that always causes a big loss.
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A clue on how to make them see that bitcoin isn't a scam on: February 05, 2020, 06:47:05 AM
Technically, Bitcoin is just like other FIAT currency like USD, EURO, Pounds and more but have a little difference because it is digital currency yet decentralized. Bitcoin is not scam it is just only being used in shady scheme just like any other currency. It only serve as a tool, remember that even in our commonly used currency these scheme is still in there.

Now talking how to make people believe that it isn't scam, probably we could just share our experiences and news that there are now countries who used to accept these type of currency in their market. Frankly, it is hard to commercialize Bitcoin especially if people believe that it only brings negative impact simply closes their mind upon using this new monetary system.

296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Cash A Better Crypto To Invest? on: January 28, 2020, 03:44:27 PM
Well!! Bitcoin cash is one of the most popular crypto in the cryptocurrency market, as a lot of experts have been predicted on bitcoin cash.

According to Several experts bitcoin cash price prediction the price will go up in 2020 and investing in bitcoin cash gives a better return on investment.

What's your take on this?
Well, I never seen a bad idea why not to invest in Bitcoin Cash. I mean it is a good coin, included at top ranked coins in the market thus I think investing upon this coin would give fair reward. Based on what I have observe in this market, as Bitcoin pumps other altcoins will tend to do the same and so do for Bitcoin Cash. Therefore, Bitcoin Cash is reasonable to place your investment.
297  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now that we touched $8,000, what's next? on: January 28, 2020, 02:07:35 PM
Bitcoin is having a small run, we just touched at $8000 as per Binance record, its 24 hours high is $8000.

https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT

What do you guys think that will happen next? is this the bull run we are long waiting?
Honestly, I am not that sure if the bull run we are waiting for is going to happen. Some other says that this coming halving will not be that much and some others says it will bring prosperity in the market. There's a lot of speculation but I think we should believe on our own intuition, accumulate Bitcoin as much as possible so that even if halving would not cause a what we expecting we could still HOLD it.
298  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin halving. on: January 28, 2020, 01:13:38 PM
Hi guys.
No doubt about the fact bitcoin halving will definitely be coming up this year.
What do you make up of that event?
What do you think It is gonna be its effect in the price.?
Will you suggest accumulation of bitcoin before the event?

BTCCheersBTC
Honestly, I am not that sure if halving will have an impact on Bitcoin's value but I do recommend that you should really accumulate Bitcoin before the event because even if halving doesn't make any difference you could still HOLD it and wait till it pump. However, I have seen few speculation(not mine) who said that halving will bring a good impact on its price and in the market.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Pyramid Schemes are still Amongst Us on: January 27, 2020, 03:17:19 PM
Honestly, back in the day when I was a newbie, I used to fall in this kind of scheme but luckily, I don't have that much money so they only got a few of my funds. Learning here is that before entering in a particular investment you should make a research first, take all the things you must know and always use your brain. It is easy to determine if the project is a totally fraud, it is very rare to see an investment that would give a double or triple reward so don't let them fool you otherwise it will be your loss. Just use your brain and follow your intuition that will make you fine.
300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting strategy. on: January 27, 2020, 02:05:41 PM
What's more efficient here on sportsbetting, familiarize the game and it should be your favorite game in which you're getting daily updates<>

I don't think I am doing it, for me, it's not necessary to be my favorite game before I make a bet.
Choosing which game gives me a better value is what matters to me, I don't need to like them, I just need to find some value to win.

Although winning is hard but without patience and your passion on what you are doing, it's always achievable to be profitable in the end.
Indeed, I guess it doesn't matter if whether it is your favourite game or not, for me as long as you have a piece of knowledge in a particular game then why not play. I think it is much better to play in different games because if your luck doesn't work on your previous game then change into another one. If you have knowledge about something you should grab it and take the opportunity.
