281  Economy / Economics / Re: "I saw my salary on a bottle of perfume today" on: November 28, 2023, 05:43:20 AM
I bring up this to talk about financial freedom. What is financial freedom to you? Is it about having a certain amount of money that is required to have financial freedom or to have an amount of money which can potentially give you freedom in the future?

Money is not everything to me. money is only a means of supporting my life. For financial freedom, if I mean it, it means living well, without debt in old age and being healthy and that is more than enough for me.
282  Economy / Economics / Re: My economic plan over the decades and our future on: November 28, 2023, 05:38:58 AM
Interesting but I wonder should one of those places go to BlackRock? As far as I know, there are quite a lot of exchanges available now that accept BTC and can be cashed out anytime if OP wants. Regarding future planning for both boys and girls if I am given convenience. I will open a BTC account for each of them from now on and when the time comes and they understand, I will hand over all the assets to them so they can use them as best as possible.
283  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Mempool is congested, use ViaBTC free accelerator. on: November 27, 2023, 06:53:34 AM

The txid has successfully been submitted:

Hello Mr. Charles-Tim. I want to ask several questions with examples of cases like this. For example, now I use the Trust wallet and want to make a transaction from at least 2 outputs where the gas fee has been automatically locked by their system Trust  wallet and cannot be edited again, then I enter and after it says pending in the application for a few moments before the transaction is completed .

The question is, when do we send the TXID to the BTC Transaction Accelerator and whether after we paste the TXID we can change the fee figures which are already automatic or only to speed up transactions when the network is congested.

Thank You.
284  Economy / Speculation / Re: High transaction fees affects those who DCA on: November 27, 2023, 06:17:24 AM
But considering that $2.67 is the top priority for doing a transaction as of this moment. I'd probably DCA and have a minimum like $50 and above.

That's right, $50 is the minimum price and if you want to enter more than that figure it would be even better and if you want to do WD after you can earn money later, I don't think it's too much of a cut from your initial capital. But, if it's not necessary, just hold on and continue to make DCA purchases regularly whenever you have extra fortune.
285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not share your bitcoin holdings with everyone on: November 27, 2023, 06:05:38 AM
about crypto on which it should really be enough for  them to learn.

Its better to be safe than sorry. In todays world, money is everything and it would be so unwise that you will be making yourself that too boastful or too tactful
about your holdings. You are just simply doing suicide on that scenario or condition.

I think that makes sense and I think that recognition and the need to admit that we are great and rich people is not required from other people. In my opinion, be normal even though we already have a lot of BTC in our wallet and don't forget to always update our software.

One more thing. Never save our recovery seeds digitally either in your cell phone notes application, or anywhere else digitally and if we do that, we will do the same as you said above indirectly.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Helping family businesses and fulfilling dreams with Bitcoin. on: November 27, 2023, 05:52:20 AM
Bitcoin is an investment with good returns, an asset suitable for long-term holding to help us protect our assets from inflation or give us full control over our assets. But don't forget that the ultimate goal of investing in bitcoin is for us to improve our lives and have a better life. But many people are forgetting that and worshiping bitcoin too much, many even intend to keep it forever without selling. If we hold bitcoin until death while life is miserable, what is the point of investing in bitcoin? I see many people are hesitant to sell bitcoin, but for me, as long as I work hard, investing and accumulating bitcoin is never too difficult. Let bitcoin serve our lives, not us serving bitcoin.

Should we throw out boring old index funds? I think the choice is up to each of us and BTC as a hedge asset, if managed well, the results will be good. Moreover, if there are other side activities that do not interfere with our BTC investment activities, that would be quite good. But. if we need cash, just do it. because we also collect it to meet our needs, not to become rich with BTC.

But, it looks like the upward march may continue. Hold BTC.
287  Economy / Economics / Re: Isreal and Palestine war and losing your wallet phrase and password on: November 27, 2023, 05:42:41 AM
Back to the point, I know it's not safe, but I would create two email accounts set a 2FA on both of the accounts, and send an email to my other email writing the seed phrase. If I survive, my phone is likely to survive as well.
Nice idea. for someone whose country is at war would require. This is the ideal way to save a seed phrase, in my opinion, because if you write it down on paper or a steel plate, as some people suggest, you run the risk of losing it or misplacing it due to a bomb explosion. However, if you send your seed phrase to your email that has 2FA security enabled on both, your seed phrase is safe and will be accessible even after the war is over.

Well, apart from the options above, it seems that in Telegram there is also a Saved message menu which can be used as a storage mode, but don't lose the card number and that's the main requirement to be able to re-enter after the conflict is over. I think we can also save the data there.

However, I don't know yet how much the application can protect it so that it cannot be accessed by other people. Indeed, many warnings have been given, don't save important things online, whether the initial phrase or 2Fa key.
288  Economy / Economics / Re: #HODLing is not a smooth journey on: November 27, 2023, 05:26:25 AM
For me it’s the other way around, I missed the chance to sell a coin on the highs, which would have brought me a huge amount, but I hoped that the project would continue to grow, in the end my investments went down minus 90% and I’ve already been waiting for about two years, but TVL is still  very far.  My advice: do not miss the opportunity to lock in your profits.

BTC's critical period may have passed after taking a hit some time ago and now it may just be a matter of waiting for the price to reverse upwards but all possibilities can still happen in this money market.

For those who have bought BTC some time ago, even though the OP said HODLing is not a smooth journey, it really provides an opportunity if it hasn't come out until they are ready to sell it at a price they consider appropriate.
289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Know your time to HOLD on: November 24, 2023, 04:40:30 AM
Bitcoin HODLing for years can not be a lost affair.

Add Bitcoin to our portfolio. This is the place and moment if you want to change the game. Yes. That's the right word, even though there are many other options, this is most dominantly held by many large and institutional traders even though price movements occur frequently and often change and we can buy them on the open market. Very easy.
290  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: November 24, 2023, 04:26:32 AM
As the bullrun is getting closer we shouldn't be taken aback seeing some altcoins doing better all in disguise only to carpet flat after many would have innocent invested their money. I bet that many of the altcoins prices won't be rising along with bitcoin when the bullrun eventually kick start, they rather be doing the opposite. I rather be doing my little DCA holding strategy with bitcoin  with the little % from my monthly income while waiting for the bullrun, it better to partake in it with the little you can  than sitting on the fence.

If you are focused on BTC, I think it's better not to think about the outside anymore. Just BTC and search quickly to collect as much as possible in various ways. January 2024 is only a month and 6 days away and the issue of increasing BTC is also being discussed very intensively even in the midst of these uncertain economic conditions.
291  Economy / Economics / Re: this makes a huge impact on the economy. on: November 24, 2023, 04:18:50 AM
As someone who experienced living paycheck to paycheck, you have no choice but to time your buys (especially the essential ones like grocery) during from when you'd get paid. If you drag it out in the next few days and let other expenses take your focus, you're literally leaving out the chance for you to buy those things you wanted. And I don't really care about the economy at this point cause to some people, these simple things in life are what gets them going, and while this is not going to fare in the long run, it's not as if these people didn't know this yet.

Let people enjoy things, but be compassionate enough to inform and empathize with their situation. It's hard to live and get by on a budgeted basis from a salary that barely keeps you alive to begin with.

It's true, but it's very different from society's view if they see us earning a salary but still living in poverty and always considering this to be impossible because we see it visually. On the one hand, the family's needs must be met, on the other hand there must also be daily costs for traveling to the office and if we count, only 15 days can survive with the total salary we earn in one month. Yes. that's life and live it with a happy heart.

292  Economy / Economics / Re: strange indicators to know economy is bad on: November 24, 2023, 03:58:58 AM
On the other hand, there are also a lot of people complaining about the rising prices of as basic a need as food and yet they don't even trim down their expenses on cigarettes or gambling or alcohol.

Yes. strange but True. If this is what is conveyed there is no word about inflation, especially when it comes to cigarettes and drinking coffee, we as men, especially active smokers can at least endure it, especially if we try to stop because of inflation, at most we can only last 1 hour. ..he, he, I really avoid the two things above, gambling or alcoholic drinks that you mentioned and don't do the things above.
293  Economy / Economics / Re: Life is cheaper with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general on: November 23, 2023, 07:01:50 AM
This experience I coined from the current economic hardship my country is going through.
The naira lost significant value against some other major fiat currencies, most especially the dollar, this has made things in the country very expensive, which has also made life very expensive to live here in Nigeria.

Indeed, we are now so confused by the current conditions whare all basic needs are rising and expensive and currency devaluation can occur at any time and can cause inflation and this cannot be avoided.

This is why I personally implore us all to be wise in how we choose to save our money,
Keep one million dollars in the bank for 10 years, by the time the 10 years is over, you pull out your one million and discover it can't buy much because things are no longer at the same price as they were 10 years ago.

But keep one million dollars in bitcoin for 10 years, by the end of the 10 years, one million dollars must have turned into 5 million dollars or more, and even if things have become more expensive in the market, this money will pay for it all and you will still have a lot of money left to do other things.

Next yes. That's interesting advice from you, but not everyone shares the same feelings and sentiments as you. but, it's wise. Everyone wants their wealth to increase if they have funds and don't want to misplace it and not grow.
294  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Up Move Incoming on: November 23, 2023, 06:40:59 AM
Its always basing up on the demand, no one really had anticipated that we are playing around 37k on which we are already anticipating that the price would be playing around 30k+ price and below but since it is really just that pointing or focusing with those sideways movement on which i couldn't blame out people on which we do really hesitate with these levels.  Bitcoin moving up income is something that would really be raising up

We must have to be smart in carrying out trading strategies and that is the real risk in short-term trading which is clearly visible, but in the long term we might be a little calmer.

related to price increases It is always based on demand which is very appropriate and if more and more people and institutions accept and use Bitcoin it means positive ecosystem growth so the greater the possibility of price growth.
295  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2024 halving less than 1 year away on: November 23, 2023, 06:33:21 AM
Even if the next Bitcoin halving occurs in 2024, and there is a history of bull market trends following the previous halving, there is no guarantee that the same will occur during the next halving. Stay on top of market movements, fundamental analysis and the latest news for a better understanding of Bitcoin market trends. Apart from that, other factors can also affect the Bitcoin market such as the global financial crisis or other market turmoil. This can trigger high volatility and affect Bitcoin price trends.

The question now is, does the halving change the game so that it can make BTC rise high? Everything is an item of demand from investors and traders and it must be born to be improved, there should be no fud issues again so that many people sell BTC, both institutions and large traders. Yes. Indeed, this Ecosystem is not yet fully mature and we all respect all of this process, the main goal is to create awareness and adoption in society and provide a positive impact in the future.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana Breaking the Internet Again! on: November 23, 2023, 05:52:29 AM
Yes, judging from its performance so far, SOL is able to produce the desired returns for users and that is why SOL is a very potential choice in the future. History is also proof of how they survived and made efforts to prevent their coins from falling during an accident. and another advantage is in the transaction process where Solana is one of the fastest blockchains which can currently carry out a maximum of 50,000 transactions per second.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So we got new CEO of Binance on: November 23, 2023, 05:41:23 AM
I believe the recent news might negatively affect Binance and BNB Coin. The abrupt drop in BNB could be attributed to some investors reacting with fear to CZ's resignation. Nevertheless, it's possible that only the title has changed, and CZ remains involved with Binance.

At least be an advisor on the stock exchange. but I'm sure there are still many optimists about this exchange and its coins. and that doesn't reduce people's desire to buy BNB after this hot rumor. unless the exchange sells all BNB assets and turns them into money. just collapsed and everyone was dizzy.

Towards CZ's resignation in my opinion its a natural fear because they don't want to experience a similar incident as what happened before with FTX.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing a money on: November 23, 2023, 05:29:15 AM
If you want to share the capital as you said above, I assume that all $30,0000 of assets are yours, then you divide it between three coins, at least if you look at the results, it might not be much different if you buy for BTC because my assumption is that all coins other than BTC are dominant, waiting for BTC to rise. . So just make the most objective decision.
299  Economy / Speculation / Re: What did you think will happen to Bitcoin before January? on: November 20, 2023, 08:17:29 AM
Speaking about future events then there's no man on this world would really be able to know on where it would really be that going specially with Bitcoin or simply with other coins as well.
We've seen its always been that unpredictable and for sure that with the current movement that we do have now in BItcoin, for sure no one had been anticipated or predicted that we would be able to break that 35k ceiling and now we are playing on 37 and heading right to 40k to touch up that area on which its never been that a bad idea to make out some positioning if you are a short term trade but for those people
who are intending to have that long term approach then they wont really be putting up much care in talks about positioning yet every entry wont really mattering about the price.

This is why if you do see that in January we would really be on higher prices then its not bad to make some entry as of this moment but if you are waiting for some big dip then
it would really be just basically would be depending on your choice since not all would really be that too confident on having such approach.

Currently everything can still be done and there is still preparation time before 2024 arrives and someone must know what will happen even though nothing is certain in the world of digital currency trading. Many people say that. So I naturally started reading the market and looking for ways to buy it by looking at the depth of new bitcoins and immediately putting in our entries.
300  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some traps to avoid in bullrun. on: November 20, 2023, 08:06:21 AM
Point 4 is worth paying attention to, meaning that everyone is free to enter the market and some of those who have entered the market are likely already experts, but make no mistake, not all investors are experienced in the ins and outs. exited the cryptocurrency market and didn't really understand how to do it. how to increase the potential for wealth accumulation.
