Well, I believed in the near future crypto will be accept by each country, depending on the usages and why they need to use it. Just like for example before there are some countries who banned Bitcoin but in a long run they revoke it then in the end they've accepted it too and now they are one of the digital currency enthusiast. And as far as I know there are already several merchants nowadays that already adopted and accepted it as their mode of payment just like Ethereum, Litecoin, and more.

Virtual money such as bitcoin is now in widespread use in many countries, but there is a good future for virtual money in the 4.0 era. It is not unbelievable about the power of virtual money, but in the age of 4.0 one needs a basis to make sure that bitcoin exists and grows, or just as a wind passes by and goes into oblivion . Have you ever thought about the basis of need and enough for bitcoin to grow?
We are now in the generation were digital or virtual currency are rising in different countries. Therefore, it is showed that the adoptions by the masses in cryptocurrencies are now little by little becoming needed in our time, due to it is not only a digital money but of course it is also a kind of investment business were it also give us a profit and savings for the future too. |

Just now read a article from Coindesk, according to "Sam Ouimet" reports bitcoin volume exceeded $11 billion in 24 hours observation from last year April. We can say almost one year. However we can't see much effect on price although there was little pump. But April 2018 bitcoin was traded approx $8K but currently trading approx $4K. Is it sign of bull run ? I am suspecting that bitcoin investors are coming back. So as usual if investors start invest on bitcoin again then most likely bitcoin will run once again. We know that if incase start bull again then bitcoin really don't want to stop. Same also on if start down trend then bitcoin don't want to stop. However I think this is one of positive sign for HODLER. What you think if this article is true? You also noticed that huh? this few days ago, bitcoin price value in the market showed a good movement were I think, the average of the investors was increased were it could be one of the reason why bitcoin bounce if I am not mistaken. It is probably possible that we are now nearly close to bull run and bear will come to an end soon. |

When we say investment, it means there is a profit in return. But if your investment is not giving any profit in it, that's not what you called investment. Due to if you are one of the Investors, it means you have an investment and belief that there is big profit in the end once you decide to invest whether crypto or bitcoin.

I'm actually new to this industry and i want to earn some money without putting some in the line(A.K.A investing) and i doubt myself that i could actually know how to manage my coins is there any way to earn money that would kick start me in this industry?
Since that you are a newbie, you can participate in bounty campaign project like joining in Telegram campaign, Translation, Facebook and Twitter, content creator, also joining in signature campaign if they accept at least newbie, but this is seldom to happen. Then, if you have capital at least much better to buy potential altcoins in any of the exchange platform. |

95% of all Day Traders fail because of lack of knowledge and timing. Day Trading is very difficult to apply in cryptocurrency trading. Why? Because cryptocurrency markets are unpredictable. It really needs more reviews and research before buying certain coin or token. I always advice new traders to spend their time to get to know the concept and the purpose of the projects or to DYOR (Do Your Own Research). Sometimes the reason why you buy certain coin or token because of hype or FOMO ( fear of missing out ) wherein you see your friends in social media enjoying what they hold. FOMO always happen anywhere in social media because it uses as a marketing strategy to manipulate the markets. Therefore, before diving into cryptotrading, always make sure to DYOR!
This true and real happened in the market so far. That's why lucky to those traders know how to apply properly the day trade methods for us to earn daily, it has risk involved. But no worries as long as you know what you are doing for sure everything will be fine even the market is unpredictable. |

This is the main reason why I tell people coming into the cryptosphere to always consults experts or pros in the space before trying to embark in any activity in the community, so a person or group of person just come and tell you they can double your money for you and because of greed, you invest blindly.
Anyone that can double your money will just as well double their money to make more money without needed yours.
sometimes those people who became a victim by this kind of deceptive coins, I'm not saying all but majority of them are easy to hype by some people who will say the ROI would be more than 100% of your capital in just a short period of time. Where the truth is not, they're only intentions was to collect fund then run away in the end. If ever you want to invest, try to buy altcoins that listed at the coinmarketcap. |

How do I find a mentor that has lots of experience doing this stuff? Online and also in person.  Somebody who knows what they are doing for a long time now. There are many good people here in the forum who are very accommodating to those who are inquiring here about in trading. if some give their response it means that person are capable to be your mentor mate, especially if they give link referring about in trading too. |

2018 is the most terrible thing happened in this industry. I felt the last year was the season of ico scam, there are many project who didn't give payment to their bounty participants also for their investors as well. But in fairness now, this 2019 I think is much better than last year though it still bear market and lot are also a bullish.

So a few months ago I did some bounty work for a company called Swachhcoin. Like many of you, I spent countless hours developing and creating posts that highlighted key features of the platform. Fast forward several months...they tell all of us bounty campaign participants that we will have to pass KYC to receive the NEW swachhcoin tokens (SWACHH). My previous Swachhcoin tokens (SCX) are now worth $0 and I will have to do KYC to get my new usable tokens. Also, they set a monthly limit of how many tokens we can sell. We will receive 10% each month to prevent dumping. I like this idea, but NONE of this was presented during the bounty campaign period. I also bought 2 ETH worth of tokens and they've delayed the project at least 2 times! To me, this is unprofessional, ridiculous, and outlandish. Sorry for the rant, but this is the exact reason I've been slowly putting my money into projects that I think have a future. I'm trying to stay away from the bad apples and put some leftover money aside into Bitcoin, Nauticus, Ethereum, EOS, and even XRP.
For what happened into bounty campaigns since last year up to the present was really not good experienced for most of the bounty hunters. But of course, I still do believed that there are good ico which I knew remain good and legit. We just need to patiently seek it. And besides there's a time of harvesting also there's a time too for Sowing. |

Its not because I fall in love with crypto, but of course I just really saw the potentiality of what crypto has for the coming future. In fact for more than a year, crypto helped me so much in many ways, honestly speaking this is my major resources of fund in terms of all my prime commodities in life. So far I've been using Coinbene, Latoken, IDAX, Lbank, Houbi, Coss, Kucoin, Bitfinex, Bittrex and most of all Binance, these platform are all good
based on my experienced using it. Some it too I have a coins which I've been holding it for a long term.

I get all your point and it actually made a lot of sense, but every trader have a different story to tell, everyone did not learn it in same way, like in my case, trading has always been a thing of fun especially when I was still learning, I know I lost a lot of funds but I saw it as an opportunity to even learn more and get better, it helped me not to repeat same mistake twice and made me get better.
At least for what good thing about you was that you learned from your own mistakes, unlike to others they repeatedly do the same way of their wrong way of doings. They really never learn, and I don't know why they continued despite of their mistakes. If we did something, let us not do it again. Because, trading is a matter of showing who you are in my opinion. |

to be honest, I never knew that Mt Gox was an exchange, because I thought it was like a Financial Institution. And more surprisingly, the record of Mt Gox in terms of hacking is truly astounding. Have those who have been in it never learned about the importance of security exchange that must be truly fulfilled? very sad for victims of hacking the exchange above.
I remembered when I was a newbie here, Mt. Gox was the first one of the big exchange on which I had been heard that has been hacked. Actually, when this things was broadcast here it is a big news here in crypto industry. And aside from this, As far as I know Etherdelta also has been hacked more than once too, I just wondered why it didn't list here. |

I recommend crypto as one of the additional jobs, because crypto season is currently in an unstable position and if crypto can be stable I think crypto can be used for work in a country. market stability is key
This can be a good source of income but it will still depend on you whether you will trade or not. We know that trading requires hard work, and if those people will just depend to anyone I think trading will just become a burden to them. In trading, if the volatility is high the better because you can make profit easily. Trading is a risky job, its not compatible to everyone. Crypto trading can able to to give a solution for the unemployed people in every country. In fact, I am one of them were crypto gave an opportunity to gain bitcoin. It maybe difficult from the start but if you are dedicated and determined nothing is impossible for you for sure, due to you will do it whatever it takes. Although, it can't be deny its too risky especially for the newbie who will enter in trading business. But once, you know the proper procedure for sure it will be easy for you to succeed it in the end. |

I've finally got around $20k to invest in long-term. No, unfortunately I cannot put this on a bank to get like 10-15% per year, I'd need something way more good.
What would you recommend? Mining? Other crypto?

You have huge start capital for investing here in this industry dude. I think you can try to buy 1 to 3 mining rigs then the rest of the remaining balances left for 20k$ is much more better to use it for investing top 20 altcoins at the coinmarketcap then try to apply day trade or if you don't have knowledge in it, you can hold it then at least you your level is not high instead you can minimize it. |

Read the Bitcoin "investors" in this forum and you always see them say the same: "I believe..."
- I believe Bitcoin will go up
- I believe HODL is good
- I believe we will see adoption
- I believe it will go to the moon
and so and...and so on.... and so on
You have no understanding - only belief
Therefore Bitcoin for many people in here is a religion - it is about belief and not about facts and understanding
And religion is an extremely poor investment strategy
In the first place, I don't see the connection of how does bitcoin become a religion? It doesn't mean we believed in bitcoin its mean it has a connection to religion, I guess you are wrong with this concepts. If we have a strong belief about in bitcoin, it means its part of our motivation to achieve our goal and target in this industry. |

Earning in cryptocurrency start with this forum. The first thought that come to my mind was to make some money out of nowhere like joining bounty campaign. Yet, I have tried and it does not compensate well for there are scam ICO projects and relatively will not give bounty rewards. Thus, the painful part started when I was not able to receive rewards. Yet, I never thought that I could like more on cryptocurrency and without the forum I could not learn how to do it.
For being a member of this forum, I have sought some things or ways on how to earn on cryptocurrency. I tried investing small scale and apparently it was a failure. However, I did not discourage instead it was a motivation to find ways and establish a strategy. I know there is no easy way to earn but as long as you have a good strategy, patience, timing and other factors will relatively help one to earn in the investment.
Unfortunately bitcoin now is not that volatile compared to BCH and Ripple so I have decided to take part on this crypto also aside from bitcoins. I have tried to day trade with it but for some reason I have to join with other cryptocurrency and do day trading.
Thanks again to this forum it was privileged for being here. I have learn my lessons!

In the first place this forum of bitcointalk, will really give a lot of knowledge in terms of crypto and bitcoin. Though, its been more than a year that the market was in bad shape. In short bear market was running for a long time where most of the bullish gave up on their waiting in the bull run. But I agreed day trading for now is the only way for us to earn so far, as long as you choose the aggressive coins in the market in terms of their volatility. |
