281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dying off? on: February 18, 2019, 10:50:05 AM
Since from the start ico are too risky, once there is an involve money risk is always there.
I think even ICO last year became bad in  the sight of many here in the community, it doesn't mean ico will
gonna die, of course. Its part of the cycle here in this field of industry. And in fairness ico now was good compared
2018 honestly speaking.
282  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Back to day trading with bitcoin on: February 17, 2019, 06:14:06 PM
Bear season in the market has been running for almost closed to 1 year now, and yet lots of the members in the forum
are really frustrated and disappointed due to they've loss their coins. That's most of the community holders became bullish while
the market was declined. So if you want to earn even the market is bad day trading is the key for us to survive anyhow. But if you're not
sure about in day trade and have a little bit doubt I suggest that hold is the best thing to do.
283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't fell for FUD. Stand your ground bitcoiners! on: February 17, 2019, 06:04:06 PM
This is the main problem most of the time why majority of the community got trapped with the FUD news,
where it leads them into loss of their coins or bitcoin. In fact, at this point of time, it is a good chance for us to
take advantage to buy Bitcoin now, because we do not know what will happen in the next hours, days, weeks, or months
that Bitcoin will bounce at once, due to its volatility and we all knew that it is volatile, right?
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: On merchants not willing to accept crypto on: February 17, 2019, 05:57:29 PM
Nowadays, there are few of the merchants who are accepting bitcoin and crypto as payment.
Perhaps, it will take more years before the majority would accept it. Because especially now the market was down, I think
lots of the merchants are afraid to risk their business on this matter.
285  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: February 12, 2019, 05:36:11 PM
Hello every body.I am a Newbie. I joined Crytopia about four months ago. I hold ont and dog Now I want to practice to trade .Please help me give some idea for Newbie as me, I should trade or not? I really want to receive the instruction of the go-ahead, thank a lots.  Kiss Kiss

Cryptopia at the moment was under maintenance. Which is not available for trading, better look for another exchange and trustworthy and has a good track record at the coinmarketcap which is belongs to top 10 exchange platform, were I am surely you can get profit in a short period of time. And don't put yourself always in a hurry in terms of getting. Instead, you must gain a lot of knowledge here first.
286  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to keep your funds secured? on: February 12, 2019, 05:27:50 PM
Im quite new to crypto so i wanted to know what exchanges do you use and i'd be grateful for advises on security. I currently keep my crypto on localbitcoins but it recently got hacked to im concerned for my money. I want to move it somewhere safe but still be able to make trades without much fuss. Im still learning to trade but im pretty serious about it. Can you recommend me a good exchange that hasn't been hacked yet?

Well I guess, your making a mistakes in your way dude. Instead of keeping it in the exchange why not try to store it on Electrum if you have

Bitcoin. It is much safer than exchange site platform. or if you really want an exchange try Coinbene, IDAX, kucoin and Binance and okex.
287  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHY 60% OF CURRENT CRYPTO HOLDERS MIGHT NOT CATCH THE NEXT BULL RUN... on: February 12, 2019, 05:21:16 PM
Bitcoin, ethereum and some other cryptocurrencies  will hit all-time-high again. But up till now, there's no clear technical or fundamental indications that this will even in the next two years.

Technicely, the second half of 2019 would even be more boring than that of 2018. Markets will be slow, volatility will be slim... traders wouldn't make much at that period.

Which brings me to the topic - why 60% OF CURRENT CRYPTO HOLDERS MIGHT NOT CATCH THE NEXT BULL RUN

The answer to this question Is straight forward:
over 60% of cryptpholders are newbies...because market will be flat in it's low for over 11 months... this period of flat market movements is enough to burn those 60% out... particularly those who went all-in

WHAT CAN BE DONE TO AVOID THIS?

Well, the only thing that can be done to avoid this, is to prepare for a long boring market. Investing what you know you wouldn't need to touch for years. Have something that would sustain you, such that you don't go broke, hence having to tap into your crypto-portfolio.

Simply find a small job to do, while the market flattens out. Hold your portfolio at the bottom, and the markets will thank you at the top😎

Its not that they can't catch the next bull run. As far as I know as long as you're  not selling your coins instead your holding it more, surely
you can recover you're loss were you think you've loss it but is not. Just be a bullish and not be impatience mate.
288  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What will you do when the market goes down? This is my advice on: February 12, 2019, 05:13:33 PM
I find that many people have a habit of holding ETH, BTC, altcoin for a long time and always hoping that it will rise again. If you are a trader, you will lose money for that. Set small target and sell them when you see profits. I only need 3-5% profit when trading.

If you see the market going down, stop loss before it's too late. You may lose 5-10% of the capital but when the market goes down you can buy more btc, eth when you hold btc, eth, altcoin.

Sell all ETH, BTC into Stable Coin when the market goes down

If you are not good well in doing trade better for you to hold your coins while the market is down.
But if you are deeply experienced in trading, perhaps day trading is advisable for you to do it when you are in the
market exchange platform.
289  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices will continue to fall on: February 12, 2019, 04:54:47 PM
Analyst prediction is just a speculation and it's never guaranteed to happen, so many predictions that a bullrun at the end of 2018 will commence but it didn't. I think it's best to prevent listening to those so called experts and just let market do the thing then react accordingly.

The falling of bitcoin in the market was given already, but of course it goes up due to its volatility.
And we can't do nothing to stop it. However, for the past couple of months the price of bitcoin remain in between 3400$ up to 4000$.
this was I noticed about it.
290  Economy / Economics / Re: What profit has brought you to bitcoin? on: February 12, 2019, 04:41:20 PM
Since I started here for almost zero fund, I just begun with earnings in crypto's which is became a bridge for me to gain Bitcoin. How?
Through joining in the bounty campaign projects, which has a similarity with employees which is you need to apply then do the task weekly for us to earn stakes, this is how it goes of in what way I got bitcoin profit.
291  Economy / Economics / Re: Know Your Customer on: February 12, 2019, 04:03:26 PM
For exchanges, ICOs that collect KYC information, when are they required to send information to the government.

If I remember correctly, in the US if you make a money transaction, such as through Western Union, or bank, $3,000+, within the same day, or smaller amounts during consecutive days, the institution must collect your ID information and Social Security and report it to the government. I forget which entity of the government.

Does that mean that if one participates in an ICO and puts in over $3,000, that gets reported to the government? Or if you move $3,000 out of an exchange, that gets reported?

This is very simple, the logic about the question you had in this thread was that once you apply in the ICO project and has a KYC needed to participate, it means that project was centralized based business and it is obviously under by the government registered too.
292  Economy / Economics / Re: In the future, will fiat currencies be necessary in the world? on: February 12, 2019, 03:30:35 PM
As of now Fiat was very useful and it has been used for a thousand years. So, none of us in our generation would say accurately the right answer for it. Though, there are some saying that Fiat in the future will be gone away or disappear. And if I am going to explain what is written in the revelation in the bible were in the " Last day money will no longer be useful ".
293  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the most problem facing in the market? on: February 12, 2019, 03:19:31 PM
some of us are bankrup and backout and doughful to invest our money in the market. because we experience to failled all our money from investing in this kinds of marketplace.
How can we solve it? and what is the good advice that you can help in this problem.

The most problem facing in the market of why there are lot of traders loss and failed their capital it is sometimes they got easily hyped by the news, where it lead them to invest at once without any thinking it properly. Maybe because of their greediness, which is not supposed to be happen for the individual traders.
294  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Worth To Be Currency? on: February 12, 2019, 03:13:38 PM
In terms of payment bitcoin was good only for online transaction not for offline transaction. Just like doing trade in the market, since the volatility is the main point of why many of the communities got profit in it. Perhaps, if bitcoin is not volatile also other crypto for sure it won't stand for 1 decade.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STOP With The ICO Garbage on: February 05, 2019, 05:47:15 PM
There's way to many ICO's that are literally trash. Idk how people invest in some of these projects. It's honestly a joke... The Bittorrent ICO would have been a good one to invest in just because of the hype behind it. If the token goes to $0 in a few months it would still be worth it because people are tripling their investment within a few days (probably not worth buying right now, but do your own research). Those type of ICO's are 1 in 1,000,000. The majority of the ICO's people are investing in are pure garbage. They have no utilitarian uses and they have weak fan-bases. I can't comprehend why people don't wait until POST ICO release, THEN analyze the platform and decide whether or not to invest. Doesn't this sound like the best logical solution? Sometimes even quality ICO's dump and you can pick some up for pennies on the dollar "fire sale".

This was a quality ICO, don't believe me? Look at the chart, strong buy action with low sell pressure and you could have picked some up for dirt cheap and doubled your money within days - https://nauticus.exchange/exchange/BTCAUD

I know many of the ico project became bad image for the majority sight of the community, which is obviously they learned from it already since 2018, though for now this 2019 those ico scam are now lessen anyhow. So all we need to do as an investors and bounty hunters is be careful in choosing the ico project. Do some research and evaluate first before anything else.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm buying alts now on: February 05, 2019, 05:39:25 PM
Jus bought in alt coins. Mostly dapp coins. I have a bunch of them. And a little less in Bitcoin. At this point I can handle the losses of alts. Hopefully it doesnt go 160% losses.
Here's a few to list
Neo. Ada. Xlm. Bch. Eth. Skycoin. Strat. Lisk waves, nuls, gxchain, Komodo , etc, qtum, Tron , Eos . Ox, ontology, pivx , zilliqa, and metaverse etp.
Year 2019 will be another bear market? Hopefully not.

update
changing my alt coins. to eos, xlm, trx, eth, bch, bsv, waves, metaverse etp, skycoin, bnb, zil

Buying alts now was actually a good idea and right timing to do it. Just make sure that the coins which you are going
to buy has a potential to increase in the future so that you're effort will not gonna be turn into waste garbage.
And as I can see with your choice some are good and some for me is not.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are ICOs really dead? on: February 05, 2019, 05:24:15 PM
After participating in several ICO project, which turned out to be scam projects. My hard earned money disappeared in to thin air, with no way to trace or recover my money back. I had to act like it never happened to get it off my mind and move on.

Are ICOs really dead and do you still invest in ICO projects?

ICO as of the moment is not dead, and its not gonna be happen at this generation, due to where only actually starting to revolutionize the ico trending in all aspect in social media. Although, I cannot deny that 2018 lot of ico turned into scam. Where most of the community and bounty hunters got scammed by these scam ico. But still there is a legit ico here just be careful in choosing it.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing In ICO's vs Investing AFTER The ICO on: February 05, 2019, 05:15:16 PM
My opinion on this things for the investors, I would rather go for investing after the ICO, because I know lot of the investors who will buy during ico campaign together with the bounty hunters for sure after ico for sure most of them will sell their coins at once, which means it will lead the coin get dump its value, so when the price go down, that's the right time for us to buy while the price is dip then hold until it get high again.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will be the new king on: February 05, 2019, 05:05:10 PM
Now the mainstream currency, BTC-ETH, has the upper hand, and they have the strength and technology, but the future is likely to be a new project to replace them more mature and more comprehensive. What do you think it would be?

There will be no new King in crypto currency, it is still remain Bitcoin was the King of all crypto currencies.
When we say King He is the most popular and well known virtual currency, the most high price value, also the most
useful digital currency to the most merchants all over the world.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters are not beggars on: February 04, 2019, 09:15:24 AM
I hate to see bounty hunters beg for tokens, after working to promote a project.

Some people would say that bounty participants are given free tokens and so they feel they should not be treated well and perhaps not be paid.
Even if you do not invest your money directly into a project, you have indirectly invested money.

- The time you spend in promoting a project is much more precious than money, because time spent or wasted cannot be regained, while money can still be regained even if wasted.

- You have spent your energy and effort. As a matter of fact, there are people that sleep so late at night, just because they are trying to promote a project. Except you feel you are not honest enough.

- The electricity used, internet facilities used and other amenities used are paid for.   For instance, in my country, there is no free internet facility and i spend so much on browsing data.

All of these if looked into sometimes and the cost implication made, might be much more than the money anyone might have invested directly into a project.

Therefore, you are not to beg for tokens, you are also like any other investor, who has invested his/her money.

If your services are not needed as bounty hunters, there would not have been any token allocated for that.

The right word is claim and not beg.

Bounty hunters is not a beggar, I also don't think that they deserve to beg for their token rewards. Because they're not receiving it for free, in exchange that each participants need to comply the task needed for weekly because if they fail, obviously they won't get any stakes. There is no different for an employee which is no work, no pay. They may not invest any money but they've invested time and effort for believing they will be rewarded  after the project in accordance to the rules they have in the bounty thread.  So, if they ask about their bounty rewards its their right of way to know it. If they fulfill all the task on which you have the owner of the project also must fulfill their obligation to give what is deserve for the bounty hunters who helped them out to get an investors.
