281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Owners of GTX 1060, what is your hashrate? on: August 10, 2017, 04:01:56 AM
I've been reading a lot of pages here... Thinking about switching to eth mining and buy digibytes afterwhile instead of mining digibyte directly.

I'm mining at around 125 watts / card ( really high, how you guys can mine at 80-85 watts ? ) , power consumption of 82%, core memory + 50. Using CCminer 2.0, windows 10.

I have as well some effective hashrate problems, see ;

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2074862.msg20730275#msg20730275

Tomorrow i'll mine Eth and compare my stats to yours to see how its going.

If anyone got a solution for me in the meantime, I would really, really appreciate it.

Pics : CCMiner :

Pool hashrate :

Wait.... 1 gtx 1060 can mine groesti at 47mh?Huh Because
Whattomine it say just 20mh!!! So the earnings will be
great now... diamond coin?  Am gonna try it

I just want to warn you before, I'm making some test in the meantime cause I think I've found my main problem by myself, but I'll still share it with you in case someone has to say something else about it.

When I'm mining CCMiner 2.0, I get around 49 MH at 85% power on my ''good'' evga cards. The problem is, the hashrate and gains I make with it are inferior than when I use CCminer 1.7.xx

CCMiner 2.0 = Bigger local hashrate, less hashrate at the pool and less gains.
CCminer 1.7 = I get about 39-40 MH instead of my ccminer 2.0 49 MH, but I have a stable hashrate at pool, and a stable mining income.

( Yeah, I don't understand either, but would like to )

I'll continue my test further tomorrow after 2 days of mining with CCminer 1.7.xx then turn my miners back to CCminer 2.0

This is for Myriad-Groestl mining

In the meantime, Can't wait to get my other pci-e Riser, as I've started to shop for another 6 gpu rig Smiley

I also notice this issue. At some ccminer version (or mod version), I can see nice local hashrate, but unstable hashrate at pool, but some version with less local hashrate but stable pool hashrate.

Please do test further and update us the result. Thanks!

Good performance, but if you use krnlx mod, you can get 1 or 2 MH/s extra. BTW, I have quit signatum mining because rewards reduced.

What is the best setting for core i7 2630QM

i7 2630QM with 4 cores and 8 threads, so the best setting is -t 8, using all 8 threads for mining. But if you want to work while mining, then you can reduce threads number.

sigt from 18 to 20

Did you use any mod miner or did you overclock your 1060? If overclock, do you mind to share your settings?

How is your speed?

Mine at 11mh/s with ccminer and 16mh/s with palginmod ccminer. I heard that krnlx mod version run better, but no windows binary to test yet.

Please try to add skunk algorithm for Signatum coin. I have tested with my 1070 by using ccminer 2.2 = 19mh/s stock clock. Then tried palginmod ccminer = 26mh/s stock clock. It is good if you can update all your tested algorithm with palginmod (or any other mod) as well, then we have a clear picture how good 1070 performs  Cool
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: August 06, 2017, 01:58:18 PM
So many scam accusations to deeponion and I thought it was over... I don't think it's worth to continue, if you don't believe in deeponion, this is your family problem. We all did, that's why we are wearing the signature  Cool

REOPEN OFFICIAL PI POOL!!!!!!!

http://pi.8pool.dtdns.net

 Grin

I really have no clue at all why you want to do so  Shocked Any reason to share with us why you close the pool when dev around but re-open it when dev gone?

probably the gentlemen will pick up the PiCoin and start to develop it.
If anyone wants to continue the developing, I will donate no less than 10k picoin.

But 10k picoin worth too little now, I think you better offer with BTC instead of picoin. And if you have a lot of picoin and want to continue it because you are big share holder, then you can create a new coin to swap from picoin. No point to continue this picoin without dev clarification.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICO, still promising? on: August 06, 2017, 04:13:31 AM
Investing in ICO does not tell us whether it is promising or not. It is not the ICO itself that determines whether your investment would be worth it or not. It is the project using the ICO. ICO is basically neutral, it might end up good or bad, depending on the specific project. Choose the best and promising project, and your investment on an ICO will have huge returns. Choose the scam one, and you will end up throwing away money.

I agreed, ICO coin is quite risky, especially most of them are scams. Project looks promising but it is a scam project. So, investing an ICO coin may let you earn, but if you're unluckily to join some scammed ICO, then your earning had to cover these losses.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Owners of GTX 1060, what is your hashrate? on: August 06, 2017, 04:01:13 AM
.....

Anyone tried mining 3 coins at once? I'm experimenting with dual mining Eth & Decred on 3x cards and Zcash on 3x cards.
Which would you think more profitable? 6x cards on Zcash/Eth or split like above?

It's quite possible. But the profit depends on your trading ability ) For example I've a rig with 6xGTX1070 it works fine with ZEC and ETH miner, but with ccminer (different versions) The 6th card not working - hardware error. So I have to mine SIGT on 5 cards  and the rest 6th card mines Equihash or Ethhash

It seems like abit weird error that your 6th card does not work with mining ZEC or ETH. Do you mind to share if there is any error message shown?
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash - hold or dump? on: August 05, 2017, 06:04:45 AM

So, does it mean that another dump action coming soon? I hold till today, and I'm abit regret now, should sell all in good price previously  Cry
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Give me a coin that will easily go 3x on: August 05, 2017, 06:02:49 AM
I would say any of the crypto coins will go 3x easily, just the matter of time, and provided the coin still survive. So, it is better to invest in reputable coins such as DGB, LBC, STR...
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Owners of GTX 1060, what is your hashrate? on: August 04, 2017, 01:37:32 AM
Of course,

GTX 1070 settings on msi Afterburner :
PL : 77
Core clock : +54
mem clock : +480

GPU0 is the GTX1070

GPU0: 437 Sol/s GPU1: 294 Sol/s
Total speed: 731 Sol/s
+-----+-------------+--------------+
| GPU | Power usage |  Efficiency  |
+-----+-------------+--------------+
|  0  |    113W     |  3.87 Sol/W  |
|  1  |     89W     |  3.30 Sol/W  |
+-----+-------------+--------------+

Thanks for sharing. Your power limit set to 77% is pretty low, yet you can overclock abit. Good to know your settings. I assumed it is stable 24/7, right?
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Owners of GTX 1060, what is your hashrate? on: August 03, 2017, 03:32:38 PM
I have 1x Gigabyte GTX 1060 6Gb (micron memory)

~300 sol/s and ~96w @ 62°c

and a EVGA 1070 8gb (micron memory too)

~430-440 sol/s and ~120w @ 58°C

My screen :

I have Geforce 1070 windforce OC. About the same hashrate as your EVGA 1070, but I checked with GPU-Z, it used much wattage compared to yours. 1070 TDP is 150w, how do you get 120w? Did you undervolt it? If yes, do you mind to share your experience? Thanks!
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Owners of GTX 1060, what is your hashrate? on: August 02, 2017, 12:27:29 AM
Guys,

How do you find out which type of memory your 1060 has in it? I looked all over the box and could not find anything.

You may try to install an app called GPU-Z, it will show detailed info about your graphics cards, including type of memory and speed.

BTW, I tried GPU-Z in Windows, I don't know if it support other OS...
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Opinion : I think BitcoinCash (BCH) Will reach $500 on: August 02, 2017, 12:21:33 AM
I foresee it will drop significantly in these early days because everyone is claiming free BCH and sell for cash. I don't think there are big investors to invest on it now due big amount of dump, unless the investors had big cash to support those dump.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: So Poloniex is just hijacking users coins at will now? on: August 02, 2017, 12:09:26 AM
It might be over and we should now stop using poloniex also , maybe they are trying to solve your issues but the support available is less. I had stopped using poloniex because even i faced a issue the site banning my ip and then unlocked it after 35 days. Switch to bittrex i have been using and faced zero issues till date

I used both poloniex and bittrex. Honestly I feel bittrex works better. I will try my best to avoid using poloniex unless coins are listed in poloniex only, or prices are better significantly, just deposit trade and withdraw. I have no confidence to put coins in poloniex wallet anymore.

Greetings

I keep getting this message when trying to mine DGB in the scrypt mining pool.  I'm using a gekko science 2pac asic miner.  When I look at my worker it doesnt show as active. And the output never says accepted.  I have been mining DGB succesfully with an old graphics card I have on the groestl DGB mining pool but I'm only mining about 1 digibyte a day Cry

Thank You in advance

I don't know if you have same issue as I did to my gridseed gc3355. I will never get messsage about accepted, but it is really working. You may try to mine for a period of time and check the balance at theblocksfactory to ensure it works.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I have 1 BTC investment, Looking for help in Ethereum mining. on: August 01, 2017, 12:16:13 PM
OP has shown why no one will just hand him a step by step guide not to mention his serious lack of motivation to do his own research, just wants crap handed to him on a silver platter
I think people will not give free service. that is why I am not getting any help from any experts.

Bro...you only have 1 video card...

Just build the computer like you normally would. Download mining software. and Mine.

You can find step by step videos on all of this stuff on youtube. No one can tell you what you will make as its constantly changing.

Stop being lazy and do some research.

I agreed with DarkerShadow. Just one video card only, I don't see any problem to setup the computer. And regarding the profit that you can make, you may actually search internet with "ETH profit calculator" or "RX580 ETH profit", and you will get a bunch of info. Good luck~

Poloniex still own me my DSH, I have withdraw it before it delisted on poloniex. System gave transaction id, but always pending, cannot find it from block explorer.

I contacted poloniex support, they claimed wallet issue, dragging me month to month, I have fed up with them now...
