2801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Gas Fees Drop on: June 06, 2021, 12:50:58 PM
Hello guys! I share you these good news. Ethereum Gas Fees drop dramatically today to reach top-year low. The Gas Fees prices has drop 50% in the last 2 days. The graphic below shows the evolution of ETH gas prices during the last year.

Yeah it seems as the berlin upgrade slowly shows it's full impact on the gas fee prices. At the moment we are around 10 gwei for a transaction which is like 0,70$ for an ETH transfer and 1,50$ for an ERC-20 Token transfer which is still too much in my opinion for an everyday use but of course a huuuuge improvement compared to the 200+ gwei prices that we constantly had for a weeks and months. I hope this trend continues until we are at the same lvl of transaction fees as on the binance smart chain.

I'm surprised that Ferrari was so strong, I'm less surprised that Hamilton made it into the top 3. I think Mercedes can improve a bit in the long lap tomorrow, overtaking maneuvers are also possible on this track, also will be an exciting race.

I also thought that the race in baku would be a "normal" race again after the last race in monaco which is always special and it's results normally don't mean to much for the rest of the season. During today's qualifying broadcast, the experts said that the track in Baku is also special, as the asphalt does not have much grip, as it is just a normal road in the city and not a race track.
For the race tomorrow hamilton is still my favorite because in the end the mercedes is still the strongest car by far.
2803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You hoping that the next coin Elon will hype is one of the coin you are holding on: June 05, 2021, 08:37:38 PM
Elon Musk creates a lot of millionaires on those DogeCoin bag holders, are you hoping that the next coin Elon will hype is one of the coins you are holding, honestly I am and praying that the next token he will hype is TRON, still buying a lot of it.
Why not it's cheap and fast what can you ask more?

Well i think your post is just a badly hidden tron shill post, but to answer your question, no i don't hope that Elon Musk will shill one of the coins that i hold in one of his tweets because my biggest hope for everyone in the cryptospace is that elon musk will stop to tweet about cryptos. It just annoys me that it is enough if Musk posts a smiley on twitter and then the market crashes 5%. No one should have that power over a market and i think people should not care about his posts at all.

Yesterday there were some nice matches in the dota 2 animajor. The second match of Team Nigma vs. PSG.LGD was also a great example that you should never place a bet only because the casters and the analysts tell you that a team will definitely win the next round after the draft happened. Nigma won the first game against PSG.LGD and after the draft in their second match everyone said that PSG.LGD basically has no chance against the hero lineup of Team Nigma. Then of course PSG.LGD completely destroyed team nigma in that match which just again that there are no safe bets.
2805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are MEME Coins A NEW Trend on: June 05, 2021, 05:55:29 PM
With the rise of Doge Coin, there have been countless MEME coins launch on different platform.
What are you thoughts on meme coins? Are they bad for the industry? Or Are they a gateway drug for newbies to enter the game?

I really think that meme-coins are bad for the industry to answer your question directly. They take away so much liquidity, trading volume and attention away from "real" projects which is never a good thing. I also think that, that the flood of new meme-coins that began in late april and early may is one of the main reasons for the dump that happened in mid may. I mean which institute or normal person that is not into crypto yet can take the crypto space seriously when all those stupid meme-coins have more trading volume than most normal and useful projects. Thankfully the meme-coin hype is already going down again.

After winning the Champion's League Chelsea extended the contract of their coach.
It is already official.

Till 2024.

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1400777505590677506

No surprise at all. Who would fire a coach who has led a team to win the Champions League and to 4th place in the Premier League, which performed very poorly before. When Tuchel took over, Chelsea was far from a place in the Premier League that qualified for the Champions League and I don't think even the biggest fans at the time would have thought it possible for Chelsea to reach the final of the Champions League and even win it.
So far tuchel was successful at every club that he coached so far and i am pretty sure that PSG and Dortmund are already regretting that they did not continue to work with tuchel.
2807  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Radix Sale Update & Liquidity Mining Rewards on: June 04, 2021, 03:59:56 PM

Die Quelle die du angegeben hast ist ja vom offiziellem Radix Blog und die Passage: "eXRD won’t go away after the launch of the XRD token on the Radix mainnet. Instead, eXRD will continue in parallel with XRD, with users able to freely convert back and forth between the two at a 1:1 ratio." sagt klipp und klar aus, dass die eXRD nicht nur vorübergehend sondern permanent weiter bestehen bleiben.

2808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 04, 2021, 02:30:00 PM
The favorites and old masters, Federer, Djokovic have advanced to the next round and Nadal also looks like he is climbing without any effort. He'll definitely whine a little that his backhand needs to be improved, but that's a high level whine.

Federers match vs cilic was the first one after his long break that i saw big parts of and i have to say federer looks pretty good to me. I mean he is almost 40 years old but you can't see that while he is playing. He looked just as good as he did before his break. Tomorrow he is also the favorite in his match vs koepfer even though he has to be careful because koepfer played very well against taylor fritz if federer advances though he is in the round of the last 16 which is already a success for him given the fact that clay is his least favorite surface and his long break.
2809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you fall for the current dip and sell off on: June 04, 2021, 02:21:57 PM
Honestly wanted to ask and to discovered the newbies among us. i though of creating a vote but it is not Necessary.  i really wanted to ask if there are members of this community that sold off during the last dip thinking that the market has crashed. alot of friends kept complaining that bitcoin and alts will go deep down and it will take months before coming back.

Really wanted to find out people that lost their grip and sold off. what really was your main reason for NOT holding...

No i did not sell off my cryptos during the dip and i pity everyone who did that. I am just not that kind of person that is so easily to upset by falling courses. I mean of course it was and it is still very annoying to look at my portfolio now that it has only 1/5th of its value in comparison to the beginning of may, but selling off now would just be completely wrong in my opinion except you invested money into crypto that you need for living and you are afraid that the prices are dropping even more and you want to avoid a even bigger or total loss. If you did that you already made a mistake because you should only invest money into crypto that you can easily afford to lose.
2810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting to Risk Free Fights on: June 03, 2021, 11:30:36 AM
Would you be able to decide which fight could be risk free that you will bet your weekly pay despite the small odd like 1.50 or would you still rethink if there is an upset like Weili Zhang and Rose Namajunas.

How about Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs Augusto Sakai, is this a risk free fight to you?

Jairzinho Rozenstruik by the way is the one that did the nasty cuts to Allistair's mouth.

Like others already replied in this thread, there will never be a completely risk free bet because if that would be the case the betting companies would not offer that bet. Especially in martial arts like boxing and UFC the risk for a big upset are always there as one punch or kick can change everything and end a match basically out of nowhere anytime.
I would consider first round matches of tennis grand slams of top players vs qualifiers or matches between first division football clubs vs. 4th or 5th division football clubs in national cup championships as almost risk free but even their big upsets already happened and will continue to happen.
2811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WALLETS EXPLANATIONS on: June 03, 2021, 11:16:29 AM
please I'm a newbie and still learning about crypto, bounty, and wallets but the most challenging aspect is the wallets. please the is this bounty I'm doing of which demands a BSC ( binance smart chain) wallet address but I provided my metamask wallet because they all start with the same format. please I want to know whether my token will be received through it or my token cannot be paid through the metamask wallet I provided.

It is ok that you provided your Metamask wallet address (I guess by that you mean your metamask ETH address). The BSC address of your metamask wallet is the same as your ETH address you just need to manually add the binance smart chain (BSC) to your metamask. BSC is basically just a simple copy and paste of the ETH network with the big advantage of very low fees (like 0,10 -0,20$ per transaction) compared to the ethereum network. That's why the address is the same.
Here is a guide how you can add BSC chain to your metamask wallet.

I watched some of the games in the Dota2 Animajor today and so far it looks like the EU-Teams are not as dominant anymore as they used to be. The EU-Region was always considered as the strongest Dota 2 region and Team secret dominated there for the past year or so and now they only managed to get 2 draws ouf the first 2 matches. Also nigma did not look very good against Invictus gaming even though they were ahead of them for a long time in the second match but still couldn't win it. OG isn't even taking part in the animajor.
2813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin listed on Coinbase pro on: June 02, 2021, 10:47:01 PM

Well good for dogecoin but i don't think this is huge news. Dogecoin is one of the oldest and most well known and popular cryptos out there and therefore it is more surprising that it wasn't already listed on coinbase pro before because it was basically listed on every other big exchange already so it's weird that coinbase missed out on that trading volume and therefore trading fees so far. I also think that it will not have a big impact, if any impact at all, on the price of dogecoin. So far it raised 13% compared to yesterday but today was a good day so far and there are more coins that had such a increase in price today.
2814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 02, 2021, 12:34:10 PM
Delbonis vs Andujar might be a good game to watch later.
Could be, two clay specialists going at each other. I am expecting a tough battle, probably even a 5 set match. Therefore, my bet for this one is over 36.5 games which should pass if get at least 4 sets.

Gratulations to your analysis and your bet. Delbonis won the match in the end with 6-2 in the 5th set.
Out of the upcoming matches today i think the matches between Krajinovic and Isner and Opelva vs Munar will be the closest ones. I think that krajinovic and Opelka will advance here. All the other matches of today are having pretty clear favorites in my opinion. Esspecially tsitsipas and carreno-busta should have no problems at all to reach the next round except something extraordinary like an injury happens.
2815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Prefer to join IDO or ITO on: June 02, 2021, 12:19:28 PM
BTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTC

Which one do you prefer to join?

IDO or ITO

WHY ?

Back in 2017 ICO's (or ITO's) were the hottest thing and some of them raised 50m$ and more for example filecoin. Nowadays traditional ICOs are only rarely happening anymore. Two years ago or so IEO's appeared out of nowhere and everyone wanted one of those limited spot to invest into the next binance IEO or kucoin IEO. Since the last bullrun in the end of 2020 a combined tokenlaunch via launchpads like (polkastarter, poolz or duckstarter) with a following IDO have taken over. The thing is even if you are part of a launchpad than in most cases you still need luck to even get the chance to invest in a hot project and most of the time you have to wait for the listing on Uniswap or pancake swap.

Overall i like IDO's more than ICO's because it means that your tokens are already tradeable and you don't have to wait for years before you get them.
2816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on climbing challenges on: June 02, 2021, 10:18:43 AM
One of the most spectacular yet little known sports is climbing. One of the specialties is indoor competition where the athletes will compete on completing diabolical routes and doing so the fastest. If you have never seen a video, you really should.

There are many other options for betting, such a certain climbing finishing a certain route or climbing a certain mountain. The stars of this sport, both male and female, frequently declare their intentions of climbing routes and it is a open ground for bets. Is there already any place to bet on climbing competitions or challenges that you know of?

Speed climbing and especially free climbing are extremely interesting sports to watch and the athletes doing that are one of the best trained athletes on the planet because for climbing you need a lot of endurance and basically every single muscle is used during climbing so that climbers are probably in the best overall shape. Regarding betting on climbing i personally would be still hesitant to do that because as far as i know there is not much money involved in climbing competitions yet which means that the participants are more susceptible to bribery, but if the sport continues to grow as he does than it would be definitely an exciting sport to bet on.
2817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How true is this? on: June 02, 2021, 10:09:58 AM
I was reading through chia coin channels today and I saw something so confusing and hard to believe, chia coin owner is the same man behind bittorrent project but why named him the best network protocol engineer alive? Is this true?

Everyone can claim be everything on the internet so statements like that have zero value. There is no official and acknowledged world wide ranking of network engineers which means there can't be a official no.1.  I mean if he invented bitTorrent than he probably has some coding skills but i am pretty sure that does not make him the best network protocol engineer alive  Smiley. I usually avoid projects that are throwing around with such bold and unprovable statements because i don't want to see something like that from a serious project. Chia is a serious project though and already listed on big exchanges like huobi and okex so it's definitely an interesting project.

https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.verstappen-predicts-mercedes-will-come-back-strong-in-azerbaijan-as-he.1ZnZuRWb3wQmR2kZcQay3z.html

Verstappen thinks that Mercedes will come back to Azerbaijan much stronger than they were in the Monaco GP. He has been really unlucky on this track and he seems determined to change this and be on the podium.

I also think that Mercedes (especially Hamilton) will have really good results here.

This is not really surprising because Monaco must always be considered as a race out of the line compared to the other tracks. In Baku there are very slow corners but also a extremely long straight where the full power of the mercedes engine can shine again. If nothing extraordinary happens or other teams had some huge upgrades in the last 2 weeks than mercedes should be the strongest team here again just like on almost every other track except for monaco. I really hope that the other teams are not as far behind as i fear because that would be an indicator that the rest of the season will not be very exciting.
2819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk and his invention on: June 01, 2021, 05:24:56 PM
Elon Musk talked about how BTC mining with electricity isn't environment friendly but he invented electric cars, in near future if this actually becomes popular electric cars will be available world wide and billions of vehicles will be charged by electricity so how is this environment friendly?

There are a lot of studies out there already that show that electric cars are not by default more environmental friendly than "normal" cars with combustion engine. To be really environmentally friendly electric cars need to charged with 100% electricity from renewable sources and that's still not the case most of the times. In addition to that you need lithium and cobalt to make the battery packs for the electric cars. To extraction of lithium is also problematic because groundwater flows in from surrounding areas and the groundwater level drops as a result and most of the cobalt comes from the Congo, where it is mined under extremely inhumane conditions.
So yeah.. quite some double standards here.

Aguero is officially joined Barcellona, now Messi will have one more reason to stay since they are close friends.

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1399360653664608256

I think that barcelona managed to sign a great player here, even if he turns 33 tomorrow he is still capable of playing at least 2 or 3 seasons at absolute top level. Guardiola made a big mistake by not letting him play from the beginning in the champions league final and maybe ManCity would have won the game with him.
As you already said another reason for barcelona to sign aguero could be the fact that he and messi are good friends and therefore it becomes more likely that messi will stay in barcelona too. Sooner or later barca has to make a big change to their squad as the team gets pretty old now.
