2801  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: "Gareth Soloway: BTC to 3,5k possible" How likely is that? on: October 21, 2022, 01:36:31 PM
I think that his analysis is based on the bottom of the previous cycle, a very pessimistic perception that is difficult to achieve.
What concerns us now is to maintain levels above 17k for a long time, which is something that has been achieved so far, so 3,5k is considered impossible based on the current conditions.
2802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need help with bch on: October 21, 2022, 01:08:38 PM
OK, so i have a wallet.dat file that once had 274bch but 250 was moved.

What do you mean it "was moved"? Were the coins sent from those addresses to new addresses or does the total balance appear as 274bch? If the balance shows a lower number, it is a sync problem. Are you sure that the sync is done?
It is rare that a scammer to steal half of the coins when they can steal all of them, so if a wrong balance appears there is a sync problem.
2803  Economy / Economics / Re: UK economy bond market and current situatsion explained by percise analysis on: October 21, 2022, 12:23:14 PM
The recent resignation of Liz Truss will reassure the economy a little, and the central bank may be able to control the market for several more weeks, but the problem has now turned into a political par excellence. The failure to choose the government for the next week may cause a lot of economic problems, which means that Britain dispenses with it.

The appointment of the new government may solve many problems, but most of the costs will be paid by the citizen, which will accelerate early elections that may further complicate the situation.
2804  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla can be worth more than Apple and Saudi Aramco combined - Elon Musk states on: October 21, 2022, 12:08:52 PM
I don't expect more of the legendary growth of Tesla, as the electric car industry has become the focus of the attention of giant companies, the cheap industry in China has disappeared, and there may be a semiconductor problem in Taiwan. All these factors will make us believe that the next will be worse.

The other side is the problem of batteries, which I expect the Chinese giant BYD to excel in, and therefore whoever controls this sector with semiconductors will determine the future of the industry.

On the other hand, there is no real competition for Apple and Saudi Aramco.
2805  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: New and improved Trezor website on: October 21, 2022, 12:01:21 PM
The design looks modern, but it added a lot of details that the user may not need on the home page.

The weird side is that the compare page[1] will make u more likely to buy a Trezor Model One than a Trezor Model T since the features are almost the same.

I expected that there would be blueprints and a short website, now it looks like someone who tried to collect several page ideas on one page

2806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Tank Following The Charles Schwab Indicator? Do BTC Investors Need on: October 21, 2022, 11:51:11 AM
It is an ideal period for consolidation and for those who want to enter into long-term investment, although now speculation is talking about the possibility of a decline rather than a rise or crazy fluctuations.

But if you are talking about the recent gains, which are about $70,000, we may need several years before reaching those levels.
2807  Other / Meta / Re: What is wrong with this? Can it be considered a signature? on: October 21, 2022, 11:14:40 AM
I wonder if certain threads I created can do without them. I think there should be clear definition of what signature means, so my related posts don't also get reported as signature.

I think that the problem is the repeated advertisement[1], as advertisements are not allowed except in the signatures area, and therefore even if it is just a link at the bottom of each topic and it was repeated, you will be deleted or banned for a temporary period, as you are trying to advertise and not discuss.
Thus, we do not need to define the signature, since any repetitive advertisement is prohibited (This includes making high quality posts.)

If this signature is in a topic or two, and it matches the content of the topic, it will not be deleted.

2808  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Current Market situation btc and other coins capital moves where action on: October 20, 2022, 07:54:47 PM
Trading in leverage and altcoins is considered closer to gambling, and therefore normal trader cannot achieve profits by 400%, or at least it cannot be done twice per year.
Recommending such ideas will most likely lead to a loss of money in the medium and long term.
2809  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How and who writes code for Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2022, 07:38:33 PM
all other blockchain projects has a 'leader' (Vitalik for Eth, and Antoliy for SOL, etc) who is managing/controlling/guiding Bitcoin development?
There are some differences according to the nature of the block that is managed, for example, Bitcoin is POW and therefore the community that approves or rejects these changes which is more decentralized than some other blockchains such as:

  • Binance smart chain: Only 21 authenticators can do everything in the network such as preventing someone from sending or returning coins from an address without the "permission" of the account holder.
  • Other altcoins: Early developers are either collecting a high percentage of coins or centralized mining.
2810  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My Advise to newbies on PM offers on: October 20, 2022, 09:04:52 AM
This advice cannot be for n newbies because they cannot wear a signature and therefore the lowest rank that these offers may receive is the full member, but what is the point of creating this topic?

Rarely does an account have unique writing style that companies have to pay specifically to rent out their ad space.
Thus, scam may be the only motive if you receive such offers.
2811  Economy / Economics / Re: 76% of Adults are Making Lifestyle Changes to Prepare for a Potential Recession on: October 20, 2022, 08:55:00 AM
The current problem is not stagnation, but rather the difficulty of predicting economic variables, or what is known as the state of uncertainty, which makes making investment decisions very confusing.

Many people tend to celebrate it with cash or gold and reduce unnecessary spending until the recession is confirmed and thus dealing with its tools or that the economy will recover and thus investing in stocks and others and thus reviewing the background of the central bank manager in your country will have the greatest impact in determining your investment plan for the coming months in addition to reserve decisions federal.
2812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: south africa makes bitcoin a financial product there on: October 20, 2022, 08:33:34 AM
Building analyzes on mere speculation for a period of 12 to 18 months would be considered a waste of time because a lot of things and variables will happen during this long period, and unless the bill is changed into a law and put into effect then only we can talk about the positive effects.

Personally, I see that many countries are planning to expand the tax umbrella, and therefore every “regulation of cryptocurrencies is a new way to impose taxes"
2813  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Japan to allow exchanges list coins under lessen rules on: October 20, 2022, 08:24:40 AM
Can someone explain to me what screen processing is? Or what are the requirements that are required for the platforms before they are listed? How will the listing process be removed?
I do not see how this news can be positive, because the most important thing is not the platforms, but cryptocurrencies themselves.
2814  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The Binance exchange is not specific about the rebalancing date of its CMC index on: October 20, 2022, 07:59:59 AM
Leaving conflicting definitions that are the basis for manipulation of the market ( which CMC will do,) but personally I think that the indicator will be based on its balance on a monthly basis because the quarter annually is not meaningful, especially since the more we go deeper into +100 cryptos, the more misleading the indicator.

Generally, bitcoin and ETH will have the greatest influence and therefore there is no meaning to the index for more than 50 cryptocurrencies.
2815  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leaving your coins on exchanges on: October 19, 2022, 09:40:09 PM
The detailed answer to your question would be:
The nature of trading, money used in trading, trading periods. You will then have details of how much you will earn and what fees you will pay for it.

In general, the withdrawal fee is not a problem, but the times of confirmations. For example, in daily trading, it is difficult to use bitcoin withdrawals (even if the fees are zero) because confirmations may take an hour and therefore other alternatives will be pure and they differ from trading once a month or when the price increases (it will require a longer time for confirmations)

I do not know about local board Bahasa Indonesian, but I think that the comments above show that he was a good person.

I wish the rest of the members to remove the negative trust and lock the account (after confirming his death). I also wish @Darkstar_ to forgive the loan because he died.
2817  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Creating wallet for physical round on: October 19, 2022, 03:00:11 PM
If you have done this, I would be open to any advice. This is for personal project. Nothing to market Smiley
Thank you kindly

Do you want to generate an address without recognizing the private key, thus ensuring that the private key is known only to the buyer? Or do you want to generate the private key securely?

The step of generating the key and printing the QR and then placing security seal is not complicated and with a little technical knowledge you can generate the key safely. @NeuroticFish comment is enough for that.

The problem is if you want to generate a private key and only want the buyer to know it, which will require more details.
2818  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Bitamp.com Problem on: October 19, 2022, 02:22:38 PM
The block height is 757,921 while the actual blockheight, according to most block explorers is 758,198.
So, it seems like bitamp node is not fully synced and is 277 blocks behind (approximately 2 days).
If you have received/sent any coins during the past two days, you'll not be able to see them on bitamp.

If the wallet node hasn't synced for two days, it means that the developers are busy, which raises a serious question about searching for vulnerabilities, or even closing or discovering them.
In this way, the wallet is dead, or at least dangerous to continue using it.
2819  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to monetize a cryptocurrency website? on: October 19, 2022, 02:16:18 PM
Without content and continuous traffic, you will not continue to make profits from your site, so focus on the content and then, without even having marketing plans, you will find a lot of money.

At the moment, you will need some marketing managers and they will succeed in making you earn a little money if there are visits to your site.
at the current state your website if far from approved by google or make profits.
2820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream crypto adoption on: October 19, 2022, 02:03:54 PM
I do not think that any cryptocurrency that will be backed by the government or accepted by the government will have any form of proof of work because, in short, it gives individuals a greater degree of decentralization, and competitors can intervene if they do not like the government's decisions.

Therefore, proof of stake is the future if we want to see *environmentally friendly currencies* and not generate clean energies for crypto mining.
