Duzo nowych uzytkownikow nie ma zadnych BTC w momencie dolaczenia do forum, wiec nie bylby to dobry pomysl. Ograniczenia sa po to, zeby mogli w dziale Newbies zadawac pytania zadawane po 9000 razy i robic balagan, ktory na innych dzialach bylby irytujacy. Would you be creating something similar to blockchain.info, where the site only keeps the wallets in an encrypted form? Otherwise unless you are very security-conscious, you can have the users' funds insured, and you're making use of multisig addresses, don't waste your and your users' time and health. |

I lent fenio 0.015 BTC on December 11 with only his ID as collateral due the amount being very low, got 0.0175 BTC back after six days (a day early). He's asking for 10 times that amount now. If you have that much faith in him, go for it AFAIK he's no longer looking for a loan; last week he told me he found someone to lend him 0.145, and only needed 0.015. I did not agree to lend him the initial amount of 0.16 BTC without proper collateral, and obviously his ID in itself wasn't going to suffice, but decided that 0.015 was low enough to prevent him from not repaying the loan considering the information I had on him (he also took a picture of himself with the ID, wouldn't be worth to have his online reputation tarnished over only 0.015 BTC). I wouldn't mind lending more, but then I would need something else as collateral. |

It has to stop. What we are doing is making it easy for scammers, they get a 6-10 months old account and the one's who deal with them subconsciously get an idea that, "Hey, that's an old chap, must be reliable!"

If you're mining BTC you can and should lower the memory clock to decrease power consumption and increase hashing speed (also depends on the GPU clock, and the ratio of the two clocks).
If you're mining scrypt coins you shouldn't underclock the memory because it will affect your hashing speed negatively (scrypt is very memory-heavy).

By the intensity of 18 I was assuming he is mining scrypt and with either cgminer or bfgminer, but that's just a guess from his post!
Yeah, seems high to me but maybe it depends on the miner (I don't thing I ever used intensity higher than 12(?) but that was BTC mining). But I think he's mining BTC or some other SHA256-based coin: and i get only 350 MH/S
