2801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: is there a way to get a payout from nicehash if minimum payout is not reached? on: July 13, 2017, 02:33:36 PM
Hi,
I stopped mining on nicehash can i request a payout manually? It is around 15€ which do not want to gift to nicehash?
Thanks in advance.

no you can not, just keep mining and you will get it when you reach the threshold, i think they did this to avoid overloading of their server, with too many requests that was done automatically, there was some ddos i remember
2802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which algorithm best? on: July 13, 2017, 02:32:18 PM
Which algorithm best for Mining?

it depends on what gpu , for amd is always ETH for nvidia is spreadcoin or nexus, or all the equihash coin, lbry is not good anymore they dumped by more than 50% the value, check whattomine, but see the "coin" tab not only the front page which is missing many coins
2803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Did I broke my card on: July 13, 2017, 02:30:45 PM
i would not overclock so much the mem you get artifact and you can ruin your memory, then it's broken yes, do at best 600 on mem, because not all brand can go so high like you did with your, i think only those with samsung memory and not always, try to do a reset now
2804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Asking about GPU on: July 13, 2017, 02:29:19 PM
Hi there I would like to ask every person who tried mining so my question is:
1. Where did you get your GPU? Is it in a online store?
2. How much? And how many did you bought?
3. Did you did something to the electricity of yours ? Or no?

There purpose of this thread is to know where should I buy a GPU. So please do answers my questions it would be helpful for a first timer like me to the community of mining

>Additional Questions<
4. Do someone know a trick to get lower electric bills? I Already did my research but at the same time I want it to know from people here who tried mining (pros at mining)
5. Did you tried mining without GPU? I heard you can go mining without any GPU
6. I want to know if its true we can now get into mining without any GPU in hand. So what do you use? Is it just you computers? No upgrades?
7. How much did it cause you? (Please state if its dollers)
8. While in the process of mining 8months peroid there was no harm? Right? (In my mind something might happen in our house like that)
9. Did you lessen your use of technology in use at your house?

lol if there was a trick it would be illegal, don't steal electricity, and you can't mine without gpu, you can mine with cpu but it's less profitable, if you mean cloud mining that is a scam, roi vary very much, and you can buy gpu on amazon, but not for cheap anymore there is an huge demand now
2805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TEZOS raised 231 Million on: July 13, 2017, 02:26:29 PM
i think it's all random hype with this coin, the investors say someone buying one huge coin and he buy and make another investors following him, they are just buying for 100% speculation, no real project behind this lol, but i like that this ico coin, is the second one with a governance blockchain like decred
2806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DASH coin? on: July 13, 2017, 02:23:37 PM
What do you think about DASH coin? Is it worth it to invest ? ? ? Thank You !

it's the most stable x11 coin, with the biggest marketcap, of course it make sense to invest it's another big coin that you know can't die like ETH, price also look stable and the bottom was touched not long time ago with the bull run market of the cryptocurrency, so if now is rising you can be sure that it's not going to be dumped soon, it's a safe bet now yes
2807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: SportsBetting with Altcoins on: July 13, 2017, 02:21:11 PM
i think you should post in the gambling section, but do you appear to offer e-sport betting for games like cs go starcraft 2 and broodwar, and other competitive game or only standard sport betting?
2808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Photos: Life inside of China’s massive and remote bitcoin mines on: July 13, 2017, 02:19:46 PM
Until now, I don't understand why the Chinese are more interested in bitcoin then other people. We need to see more of these mining farms around the world or It will be just a matter of time until we see centralization If we could call it that way. (This is valid for exchanges as well)

because they can product asic with cheap production cost, and with very cheap electricity they have a huge edge on other country, and this make sense for them to start mining operations, other country have other problems like too much hot or too much expensive shipping cost and they can't product asic at home
2809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction cost so high? Why? on: July 13, 2017, 02:18:06 PM
Hello everyone Smiley So I was ordering a few items online from a place that accepts Bitcoin, and for an item that costs only 24 Euros, the send cost was 7 Euros! That is too high! Bitcoin transaction fees should be very minimal! Is there any way to resolve this or is this to do with the blocks filling up?

what was the transaction size? i doubt is really 7 euro and 7 euro is like 350k satoshi at the moment, which is like you are sending a TX of 1300 bytes, if really is true, try to use an accelerator next time
2810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH!! on: July 13, 2017, 02:16:12 PM
Eth is going down & down!
I am so afraid
Can it grow up in this month?
any possibility?

i think will grow again after the first august, when bitcoin will solve its problem, look everything is down, why you are so worried about ethereum, ethereum is a very strong currency fluctuations are normal, but it won't die rest assured
2811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Subject: [ANN] ☼☼ BitcoinPlanet ☼☼ BTPL ☼☼ Skein Algo ☼☼ Looking for Mining Pool on: July 12, 2017, 03:27:49 PM
why everything that go to nova get a dump, it was good this coin on coinexchange now the value is shit again, i think you need to go on bittrex or at least on cryptopia if you want good volume, otherwise investors will abandon this and move to something  else very quickly
2812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does it need to start an ICO? on: July 12, 2017, 03:24:40 PM
I think you need an idea which is special and helpful to crypto world or real life, and  a team for developing product.

lol no, this is the last thing you need, did you see that all the ico are all shit copy pasted from each other with no original idea, but random faces, that thing they can get rich quickly, all are smart contract without no purpose, there are few expection like gigawatt and Tezos, but all in all you just need a new name to start an ico and pretty face on first page
2813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: #1 usage of blockchain tech in 5, 10 years? on: July 12, 2017, 03:22:24 PM
Honestly, I dont see crypto currencies being adopted for quite a long time. Its difficult to get people on board with the idea, especially in the United States, but I think Blockchain tech altogether will become more prevalent and user friendly is the next couple years.

I see something like the hardware Wild Beast Coin showed off running the Blocknet, which would allow the computer to handle apps and programs it otherwise couldnt. Maybe even Nexus will supply the actual internet connection.

Its still pretty early to tell.

if other crypto can deliver a good blockchain alternative to bitcoin i think it can be adopted, i can't see all the new project built in only one blockchain like on b itcoin, we need more than one, ETH is really good for that because it's a platform that can host what you want, but it's used only for ico scam and stupid smart contract for now
2814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The 10 Oldest Altcoins on: July 12, 2017, 03:20:09 PM
Which 10 Altcoins are the oldest?

litecoin, peercoin, worldcoin, terracoin, and devcoin, on top of my head are among the oldest, but litecoin is a copy of an oldest coin, which i forgot about the name, because it was an experiment, and litecoin copied that
2815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do males make up 97% of the Bitcoin community? on: July 12, 2017, 03:17:12 PM
According to the website https://coin.dance/stats males make up 97% of the Bitcoin community. Why is the Bitcoin community dominated by guys?

girls are not tech savy you know right? they are emotional being, but some girls use bitcoin, those with sexy cam or other that are more with technology, there are at least two girl here that sue bitcoin very well, i see that in japan the story is different, plenty of girl using bitcoin, maybe girls are waiting for regulation? who know
2816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How are you sure that Bitcoin will be operated in the bank in the future? on: July 12, 2017, 03:16:02 PM
What is the essence of banking system since 2009 in the advent of cryptocurrency? It is well known that the globally has new invention which has manifested in our economic systems. Cryptocurrency has became indispensable in this world of humanity, which can be advisable for banks to adhere to this idea so that it could later become visible escrow members.

what are you trying to say my friend, your post look confusing, with random words, bitcoin have nothing to do with bank, but bank can buy bitcoin and give you itnerest on deposit, i think this is a legit thing that can be real in the future, but not something that you need for bitcoin,w e can live without banks
2817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which is the Best GPU for mining ETH,LTC? on: July 12, 2017, 03:10:47 PM
The latest AMD GPUs are really good as well as the nvidia gtx 1080s: http://www.legitreviews.com/best-gpu-ethereum-mining-nvidia-amd-tested_195229

the last gpu from amd have their hashrate cut of 30%, not that good anymore, nvidia is better now with the new clymore build that do 25Mh with a 1060, perhaps you are talking about new professional vega amd gpu? this gpu maybe are good but need farther testing
2818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL asic mine 2000MH/s on: July 12, 2017, 03:09:07 PM
is this a new product of baikal with the same speed as two a900 giant or more? because i can't find it on their website? maybe unvailable or only on preorder? and how to order this one? can someone enlighten me thanks

The only people who seem to have them are in China. Probably a small circuit of local buyers.

In any case, 2000Mh/s only mines around $1000 worth per month.

At an original price of $7000, its already ridiculous with a ROI of 7+ months.

For $10000 it'll take over a year to ROI, as difficulty will double a couple times more by then.

They'll be lucky to sell these to people for anything above $3000-$4000 at today's hash rates.

7 months is not that bad with current profit, altcoin also are bad now you need 7 months there to roi, like with this asic, i would buy if available and sell after 2-3 months, and i would get everything back plus a bonus

2820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Switch to which altoin for more profitability? on: July 12, 2017, 01:20:26 PM
Hi,

I think the current ETH difficulty increase and price drop is making some people (including me) thinking about switch to mine (GPU) an other coin instead of ETH.

Which one(s) would you suggest to being more profit now?

I know, that there are calculators, but I know only my ETH hashrate (which is nearly 200 MH/s with 8 x NVIDIA 1060). How can I convert 200 MH/s into hashrates for other coins?
Or what you think it would be and which coin would you suggest for GPU mining?

whattomine say that zencash is the most profitable now with he recent drop, so mine that, ETH is a no go, after the diff will go boom, there will be no profit there, equihash is a better algo, to bad you can't dual mine with that, like with ETH

How to generate wallet for zencash? I tried it through Bittrex; however, their zencash wallet has been inactive since early June 2017 (few days after hard fork).

use another exchange or wait until they fix the maintenance status, or download the local wallet

Nexus and Spreadcoin are good for nVidia but you need to learn how to mine without a pool. Check sp thread )))

not that hard, just do this config, rpcallowip=1270.0.0.1, rpcuser= user, rpcpassword= password, rpcport= you choose here, server =1
