There are a lot of opportunities available in the crypto space. Crypto is not limited to just about holding or trading. Like every other new sector, there is a lot to leverage on here. You can be an educator...teach people about bitcoin and alts, you could start a YouTube blog on crypto related topics. There is so much in blockchain technology is quite to be untapped therefore there is enough room to develop one's idea.
Although like gold, Bitcoin is a store value and an asset people still view bitcoin as a get rich quick scheme and are only interested when the market is pumping. Very few people use bitcoin as a means of payment for goods and services.

Democracy is the problem. Democracy is the rule of the 51% over the 49% who become slaves when they lose. Of course, the 51% gives the directing of the nation to a small group in government. And this group never does what the 51% wants. Get rid of Democracy. Set up Libertarianism. People can do whatever they want in every way, as long as they don't harm other people or damage their property. Enforce this Libertarianism. Get rid of Democracy, which turns into Dictatorship by a handful of people.  In third world countries, the concept of democracy is a fraud carefully drafted by politicians to please the international community. Democracy hasn't changed anything, we look up to the West as a beacon of hope but the history remains the same only the names change. Once they called it slavery now they call it mass incarceration. June 12 is a holiday to celebrate the restoration of democracy in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The Nigerian youths had called for nationwide protests on Saturday on "Democracy Day", over the bad governance and insecurity sweeping the nation, as well as the recent Twitter ban by the government. The ban on twitter is one of many evil done by the government. They trample on the rights of citizens at every given chance. Nigerians have been oppressed for so long, we barely know freedom. We have gotten used to the illusion of democracy when in reality our government practice dictatorship. Anytime we attempt a revolution or try to come together to form a united front, the government throws in religion, ethnicity, tribe to divide us. And that always seem to do the trick but when that fails as we saw during the EndSARS protest, they bring in fear, they become offensive and shoot at their citizens. Anyone who tries to speak up is shut down, media houses are controlled by the government and the truth is whatever they shove down our throats. This is the form of " Democracy " we practice, a democracy where the blood of patriots are spilled on the streets of Lagos, a democracy where peaceful protesters are murdered in the by the Nigerian army, a democracy where men in black called SARS (Special Anti robbery Squad) exploit the innocent and are protected by the full weight of the government. On October 20th 2020, the lekki massacre happened, the Nigerian Army opened fire on peaceful End SARS protesters at the Lekki toll gate, those that escaped were hunted and gunned down. Some were lucky enough be granted alyssum in foreign nations.  This image represents our reality. The greatest tool of manipulation used by the Nigerian government is Poverty. They keep the masses poor and desperate, so when they need something from the people they can always offer them money. Money for your votes, money to be thugs, money to do their dirty work. Little wonder why the government does everything in their power to frustrate legitimate businesses in the country. Bitcoin was banned in Nigeria for a reason contrary to what most believe the government actually understands the potential of crypto and all the opportunities it brings. That's why it was banned. Its all a chess game to them and we are the pawns, a little Greek sacrifice and we cave in. That's the system we are born into. So when the next elections come in 2023, do not sell your votes, do not sit at home, do not hesitate. Exercise your right to be a free man and vote. That's our only hope at liberation. As we celebrate our dear "democracy" offered to us, let us not forget our loved ones who were massacred by the Nigerian Armed forces whist singing the national anthem at Lekki toll gate. They promised us justice for our dead but instead they took away voice..trying so hard to shut us out from the rest of the world. Now SARS is back on our streets, operating in our neighborhoods. Only God knows what they have orchestrated behind closed doors. Pray for Nigeria! Happy democracy day! |

Not sure what you mean by this. Could you elaborate? What I mean is, companies need good quality posters for their promotions, shit post are mostly ignored or put in a blacklist and so is the avatar. Interesting discussions sparks one's interest and draws one to the conversation. |

As for me, I will strongly disagree with that statement, because had it been there was no signature campaigns and bounties that reward people for actively participating in this forum, bitcointalk forum would have died and be buried long time ago.. Because nobody will like to invest time in a place where he/she is not getting a penny, because with the help of bounty rewards, many have been able to own a personal blog, live a comfortable life and impact immensely in cryptocurrencies.
So, that's my point.. Thanks
I doubt if the original purpose why the forum was created in the first place was to make money. I believe the forum is a community where you find like minds and people of similar interest( which is cryptocurrencies). There are various sections in the forum that one may pick an interest in. Of course there's money in signature campaigns but that shouldn't be the priority. If you are interested in earning, there are services you can offer for individuals and companies and get paid. |

I haven't read all the SCs rules in the Services section, but from what I recall last time is that most of it now require minimum of merits so that should at least minimize the chances of low-quality posters to get into the campaign, Yes that's true. There's also the only constructive post will be counted rule. But that can also help so much when the campaign requires 70- 80 post per week. I have seen good posters make unusual posts just to meet post quota |

Signature campaigns are part of promotions, advertisements of companies in the forum. I began my journey here in December 2020 and I'm fairly new to the forum. From my first week I read a lot of post warning newbies about shit posting. One familiar name I came to recognise was lovesmayfamilis who exposed plagiarism and attacked shit posters. So I took my time and study how to make constructive discussions and contributions to the forum. But I'm afraid many newbies fail to do this.
The problem I feel with signature campaigns is the condition that comes along with the package which is "accepted members must post xx number of posts in a week. Some go as far as 70 posts in a week. This is the only reason that kills the quality.
Shit posters cannot represent a brand.
Signature campaigns have its pros and cons. The question is do the pros outweigh the cons or vice versa? If my assumption is true what can be done to solve the problem?

Crypto is the last frontier of privacy we have left in today's world. We live in a world that's full of so much noise, our technology has invaded every idiom of communication we have with each other, that our techs aren't safe, our phone calls aren't safe, our face times aren't safe. Our information are being sold on the black market. The only place we have left is crypto, understanding this fact I refuse to let anyone no matter how influential you might be to tell me how to spend or use my coins. The internet has been on fire these past few weeks because of a tweet from Elon Musk. A lot of people on the internet hang on his every word. It's a shame that many don't see Bitcoin for its true value, all they care about is making quick $$$ and bend whichever way favors their interest. Bitcoiners stay strong for you're the last frontier we have left.  |

The scam seems so obvious but you all will be shocked how many people fall prey to these things. Despite the warnings and the "obvious" signs, they go ahead and throw in $$$ into a den. I don't know what to call it...greed? Or just plain stupid? There's a saying fool me once shame on you, fool me twice that's a shame on me. I think that's one thing people need to learn. We need to learn how to deal with shame of being conned because that's the real power the scammers have over you. They convince you not to tell anyone about your business with them, that way you don't seek external advice and are continuously bombarded with lies.
