2801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 40,000 stolen Bitcoin suspect Zhou Tong's co-founder is currently doing an AMA on: November 10, 2015, 07:39:51 AM
this is why centralization is dangerous especially if combined with bitcoin where there is no regulation, you get the usually "i was hacked all funds vanished"

bitcoin should only work with decentralized system for anything
Being hacked or robbed is not excuse to not be blamed. I imagine if you are businessman you must be aware that money of your clients/creditors you keep are your responsibility and you HAVE to give it back even if you lost it.
2802  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How should I secure my bitcoins? on: November 09, 2015, 10:47:40 AM
If someone hacks into Coinbase, they could steal alot more than 2 thousand dollars. xD

I'd say if you trust yourself:

- Cold Wallet
- Paper Wallet

If you don't trust yourself:

- Bank Vault
- Get a trusted person to hold and keep your Bitcoins safe.
If you don't trust yourself then it means bitcoin is not for you in the first place. Bitcoin is created for people who can mange their own money and are not afraid of it.
You better stick to the FIAT and banks if you have trust issues.
2803  Economy / Economics / Re: Increase the 21M BTC limit in future? on: November 09, 2015, 10:40:11 AM
If bitcoin gets big enough that the whole community accepts the change, then I guess it will attract worldwide attention. This would lead to countries getting interested and investing into making a bigger and better altcoin that will "rekt" bitcoin. Bitcoin has its flaws which could be solved by people with big wallets, aka countries.

I hope the limit doesnt change, I'm hodling 4 lief <3
If people ever would want to change limit of bitcoin than will mean that community goes retard mode and I don't have anything to do with it anymore.
We don't want to increase or decrease limit of bitcoin ever. There is no need to, bitcoins can be diversified to a very small units.
2804  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-11-09] BTCPrice Technical Analysis for 9/11/2015–Correction Isn’t Over Yet on: November 09, 2015, 10:16:20 AM
Wait. So that mean that bitcoin price will drop even further in the near weeks? All that because price rise was too fast and price needs to be 'corrected'?
2805  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betting in Sports on: November 09, 2015, 10:03:13 AM
I personally hate betting in general. This is due to the addictive effect it has to persons. I don't like things that keep me glued on them from time to time and thus at any point I will never prefer betting. I however have skills and experience in the world of betting. I have been able to help my friends who are totally involved in sport betting. The other reason that I do not engage in betting is the fact that I don't like watching football. therefore I have no skills and experience in the sports betting especially soccer. If you are that person who likes a certain sport, then it is the time to monetize your skills and  experience. do not sit on this precious opportunity, grab it with both hands.
You can't stop demonizing  gambling or betting as addicting source. Every pleasant sensation can lead to being addicted. And people are being addicted more and more to stupid things like their phones or facebook.
You are addicted only if you let it be this way, have addictive personality or personal problems.

2807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: November 08, 2015, 06:39:01 PM
think of this, to a professional gambler, gambling is nothing more than a job. they dont play for fun, they play to win and make money so they can maintain their lifestyle.
and also most of them became a millionaire from their main job as a professional gambler and live with a glamorous lifestyle
Yeah, the same story as with Hollywood actors. How many people would want to be rich and famous movie star? Almost everyone.
I want to be good at gamble but that is even harder that to become a celebrity. I've met some failed gamblers and I tell you - the sight of them is not pleasant.
Very few can maintain that lifestyle and even then stress is overwhelming and is consuming  them. Don't envy that.
2808  Economy / Gambling / Re: JETWIN.ps ___ ✔✔✔ $35 Free Bonus - no deposit required ✔✔✔ ___ on: November 08, 2015, 06:33:01 PM
You can use No-Deposit bonus across all products (SPORTS, CASINO, SLOTS). But only SPORTS bets will be counted towards the rollover requirements.

Do you have any promotion running for Casino games? I find your requirements for SPORTS betting promotion too high for me to handle. But I guess it is good for veteran sport bettors.
2809  Economy / Economics / Re: Increase the 21M BTC limit in future? on: November 07, 2015, 05:42:42 PM
Limited Supply is one of CORE elements of Bitcoin, and I mean it. Changing it in any way, even reducing it is unacceptable as it is against the basic principle of Bitcoin.
If that limits of 21 millions of coins would be changed that mean Bitcoin is dead. And noting will stop people from changing it to say: 100 millions. Effectively making it useless.
2810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening with deleted btc wallets? on: November 07, 2015, 05:32:04 PM
Imagine this: if you damage, delete or lost your wallet/private key it is the same as you would burn your FIAT paper money. There is no going back.
The only way is to copy your wallet.dat or use wallet with some safety option - for example Electrum with its pass phrase functionality.
2811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: November 07, 2015, 05:10:49 PM
I think gambling on sports is safer than dice game that is too random. I have a friend who is an avid fan of tennis. And he wins more than 80 percent of the time when he bet.
That hugely depends on the odds. It is true that you can win almost every match when you bet safely and only when top player is fighting someone weaker.
But is feels more like earning your wage than gambling sometimes.
2812  Economy / Gambling / Re: AutoDice 1% House Edge (MoneyPot) on: November 07, 2015, 04:45:57 PM
Using MoneyPot service is no longer guarantee that new, original and awesome Dice site is going to succeed. If you are new, you NEED to think of something to promote your Dice site with.
Simply telling people that: hey, we created new Dice with old scripts and we are using MoneyPot! Is not gonna cut you a cake.
2813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a difference between buying shares in the stock exchange and gambling? on: November 07, 2015, 04:40:05 PM
Both of them rely on skill and luck, we also can analyze condition & think about strategy about how to make profit.
So, i think there aren't any major difference between stocks trading & gambling. The only difference is stock tradings is 100% legal, while gambling isn't legal.

Some gambling such as poker relies more on skill as you bet against other players. Dice is mainly lucky based.
You can be the most knowledgeable poker player in the world and you can still lose. Skill alone is not enough of a factor in gambling.
In fact in most games it is rather insignificant. But from the other hand with proper knowledge about trading, stocks and condition of the companies you won't lose money on investing.

I can't agree on that. It is true that trading, stocks, investing is great if you know how to do it but you will lose a lot too with a wrong movement and the loss is much more bigger than gambling because you need far more balance to earn more money. It is almost the same as gambling, the risk is the same but gambling dont need so much balance to earn more sometimes
With investing you can't lost everything. With gambling it most likely happen.

I like to repeat this sentence: "An investment is simply a gamble in which you've managed to tilt the odds in your favor."
2814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on: November 06, 2015, 08:52:33 PM
blackjack gives the best chances of winning in my opinion and because of that it is most favorite game as it involves some skill not only luck
Skill to count to 21? Lets be realistic, in casino - with croupier having enormous pool of cards at his/her disposal,
not one deck but many of them - you can't count probability of the outcome from that. So there is no real skill involved imo.
2815  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone booked profit when btc touched $ 400 ? on: November 06, 2015, 08:47:13 PM
Unfortunately no. I tried to wait a bit more for BTC to go even higher, and in the end I miss my opportunity of high betting.
Next time BTC will reach $400 I will be ready, Gotta remember that these bubbles are not stable...
2816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My goal to earn 1,000bitcoins within 3years on: November 06, 2015, 08:36:08 PM
It's not impossible.. But you need good strategy or luck.
Good strategy for playing Dice? Please.

I want to create FAQ for people. Because I see these type of comments all the time. There is no strategy in DICE, no martingale no system. Only Pure Game of Chances!
With one bad roll you can lost all you money, do you have any strategy for that?

Do you even accepts bitcoin as a payment method? Because on bottom of the page I see payment methods and bitcoin is not there. Skrill is.
2819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: November 05, 2015, 09:28:29 PM
Oh. I am very greedy. But that doesn't mean I am stupid. I know much about gambling to know that if you are blinded by greed you are usually losing more.
If you are under influence of any of gambler's fallacies (greed is one of them!) you are done.
2820  Economy / Gambling / Re: Paid Tips for Free on: November 05, 2015, 08:28:38 PM
It is nice idea to provide good tipse for people here in this thread, daily. And if your win/lose ratio will be high in the future, you could offer paid tips.
Sadly without good prediction history no one is gonna from you, Op.
