2801  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: October 29, 2019, 01:36:24 PM
Too late ...
I've spent 0.15 bitcoin monthly back in 2014 to pay internet bills worth $60 for around 5 to 8 months i guess if I'm not mistaken.
Always feeling blue when I look back and see these transactions made by me , my internet bill worth $1,500 at the current bitcoin price damn it was a real deep regret I ever feel.

If you spend your bitcoins now, you might regret it soon. The selling has been non-stop since reaching $13,000 and it seems that the market is very oversold, yet no sign of stopping. However, if you spend it now, maybe next week or the week before that, the price may gain 50%.
You were close, the price of bitcoin increased something like 35% in a very short amount of time but since then it seems like the positive movement of bitcoin has stopped for some reason.

It is still not clear to me what will happen, if the price can close above 10k then we could see a huge FOMO forming but if this does not happen during the next weeks then it could be possible for the price to go down once again and for the market to turn bearish once more.

A lot of people thinks that the support level now at $8,000/$7,500 and the resistance at $10k/$11k ... doesn't makes sense for me , it's clearly a temporary pump as the china to support blockchain project was just a hype , mark my words.
No more skyrocketing overnight at least till next year. You guys need to lowering your expectations on this.

Hi Steve,

Can you do some effort and finally take action and resolve my case? You have frozen more than 15k eur and decide not to explain, not to give any evidence.

You have some rules but not enough jut to write some articles on email to take somebody money.  I want professional explanation why you connect my account with some other and to tell what I did wrong? I placed bet on major matches, play regular and honest and do not want to be quiet in front of this injustice.

Thanks
So what's the result after you reported this case to curacao? I heard you do that right Grin ?

These multi accounting accusations that hits a couple guy like you these days seems increasing and looks like become a trend hmmm? I'm not backing sportsbet.io nor support you , here is just my experience in the past:

I have one account at the beginning back in early 2016 when they just started the business, I lost $2,000 twice withing 3 days and because I'm a bit superstitious I think those unacceptable losses caused by my unlucky account , so I decided to create another account and contact the cs ask them to erase/block my previous account with the reasons I provided above, they grant it and after that voila!! I made another $2,000 deposit and make it nearly $10k within a month through both sports betting and some live casino games. Cash all the money out right after my last winning and guest what??

It's arrived in my wallet in a couple of minutes even I think within a minute! Got no problem as long as you never claimed any bonuses or promotion! That's the point.
2803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: October 29, 2019, 11:44:33 AM
Barcelona - Real Valladolid
This season Barcelona have won all of their home games at La Liga and I don't think they don't win the game against Real Valladolid. As El Clasico was suspended, Barcelona had a bigger time to be prepared for this game. I bet on Barcelona however the odds is only 1.15
I also bet on Barcelona clean sheet. The odds is 1.8
Don't do bet a cleansheet for Barcelona their defensive line is shit ... they always conceded , 8 times out of 12 matches in all competitions. Eventhough they played at camp nou if you look at the real valladolid away stats since last season .. they quite impressive in every single away game to score a goal away from home.

I would prefer to pick over goals , as you said Barcelona have plenty of time to prepare for this game and the players more than ready and fit to play .. feeling fresh and for me possibly there a lot of goals to score as they will play full team de Jong messi Suarez and griezmann possibly in the line up, let's try over 6.5 goals @11 Grin .
2804  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have to sell bitcoin to an alt, so... on: October 29, 2019, 10:53:41 AM
~snipped~

My BTC will only be limited to BTC/USD pair.

For altcoins, sh*t or not, I do have separate funds for that only limited to altcoin trading. This is to ensure that my strategy will not be affected by some of the given circumstances on either BTC or alts.

In terms of choosing altcoins, no doubt the technology behind it isn't really the main reason why people preferred this or that to trade. Volume-wise and popularity are the main criteria*. I do have my own list on my portfolio but decided not to share with it as lurkers might be confused about what to choose especially, newbies. They will think that just because those coins give profit to others, they will expect to have the same result.
I would say to sell bitcoin (in term of trading not for long term investment) for an alts is conditionally , I mean when bitcoin market seems so stagnant and you found it interesting to compare the price between the bitcoin and an alt where certain alt isn't move in the bullish period... I see this as opportunity as when any others alts has moved up but that one altcoin is not yet ... that time I decided to sell my bitcoin up to half of it and start buying those altcoin I targeted before.

That's how my bankroll management works, that's how I build my portfolio. You shouldn't leak the whole portfolio you have , just share some tricks how you do buying those alts.
2805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which betting type gives you the most payout? on: October 29, 2019, 10:23:41 AM
You are probably wrong here. Parlay is an example of high risk-high reward betting type.
Probably he is only referring to the amount at risk, when you risk at least 1 to 2 usd, that's a small amount that you can afford to lose anytime, so that's low risk for him but with big multiplier in parlay, if he is lucky, he can get a good return. In my case, I can do 4 usd per parlay with at leasts x100 payout, I find my chance is very low but the amount at risk is not that high, so I am just doing it for fun, I mean pure fun.
Guess what... I have experienced being in the super lucky mode few months ago .. betting for $10 each on two parlay with around ×104 and ×110 payout in two separate days ( I'll check later on my gallery if there's some screenshot on the betslip and post it here later), mixing English league one and championship league matches with la Liga and segunda matches , I won $1,040 on Saturday and another $1,100 on sunday, not bad eh?

I often do that parlay with similar odds and due that behavior... I think those $2,000 winning back to nothing as I've lost more since then Grin .

I don't do bet huge for ridiculous low odds, I prefer small bet amount with huge multiplier... the winning feeling is unbelievable compared to how hurt your $2,000 bet lost @1.02 odds , I've experienced almost everything.

look at this thread

https://bitcoinist.com/bitcoin-price-prediction-expect-price-to-double-by-the-end-of-2018/

Looks like this site is really love to feeling the bull at the end of every year consistently Grin

However i would say those three reasons is too general... especially speaking about the Chinese traders response on recent china president xi Jinping, it's just simply exaggerated and I believe the current price spike won't last for too long, so just be careful ... there might be a sudden fall just like yesterday sudden spike.

This is not gonna happen, 2 of the reasons aren't relevant to the increase in the price of bitcoin.
Bitcoin dominance isn't contributing to bitcoin price's increase or declining, it just shows how popular investing in bitcoin compared to other altcoins in the market.
There is no such thing like Chinese traders going FOMO, their government has banned cryptocurrency, cracked down exchanges and miners which makes it difficult for people to trade bitcoin. Sometimes you'll find articles from bitcoinist is not newsworthy with the poor quality articles and ridiculous points.
Yupp we can track easily their long history making FUD .. yet people interested and fall for this too easily. People shouldn't bother with these baseless predictions nor make it become more and more wild speculation , there's no point to discuss this but a higher expectation/daydreaming about you might get rich in no time which is fair but dangerous at once.

We have seen people bought bitcoin at the ATH due there's a lot of speculation that the price might continue rising up to $50,000 or so and in the end they are suffering now , see?

It could be happened at the current condition where people so overconfident with those fundamentals news but the market says the other way around.

Even though I'm bullish guy, I always try to make a move as careful as possible when you talk about this kind high risk thing.
2807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 29, 2019, 08:12:10 AM
I think that in the long run they can’t keep up with the pressure the Premier League puts the teams in and may even finish lower than the 4th place in the end.

I'm surprised by people underestimating Leicester. Compared to Chelsea, Arsenal or United, Leicester are no doubt a better team so far. What makes you think they'll fall behind the other big 4? Because they don't have a 30-60 million players?

Other than City and Liverpool, I think Leicester is playing really good football so far.
Against newcastle 5-0 , against Southampton 0-9 and next game is against burton at the league cup ... how much goal this time Grin ? Playing with under goals seems would gives you high odds considering the latest impressive performance by Leicester. Indeed watching Leicester playing this season feel like they are on the same level as the big 5 but for me nothing more satisfying to watch chelsea with its academy young players provide perfect entertainment in the field breaking pundits opinion before the season started that chelsea will struggle with the transfer ban and a rushed manager frank lampard claimed is immature for premier league class.

Well Manchester United and Tottenham who predicted by many pundits could easily fight for the European spots now they are struggling really hard in the mid table.

I have a question. What product do you currently have a priority in promotion? Your own or Vorax? What will be the first to be sold for tokenx (50%)
FYI Vorax is now WPP product , read here

WPP Vorax commercialized since September and W2H2 is being commercialized according to wpp telegram report yesterday , I guess we'll find out later which one get listed for sale publicly once the WPPStore officially launched.

AFAIK there's several private WPP product purchases, troy has mentioned this long time ago before the WPP Vorax patent acquired.
However you can make a purchase proposal anytime by filling this form
2809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: October 28, 2019, 10:27:51 PM
I want to watch a spanish game tonight and I can't seem to be able to do it if I don't place a bet. haha

So Osasuna vs Valencia is going to be a very tough match. Osasuna is only 2 points behind Valencia, but I don't think the pts and position in the rankings matter a lot at this moment of the season. Analysing the H2H matches in 4 out of 5 last matches there have been over 2.5 goals marked so that's my single bet on this match because I couldn't find another "safe" bet in my standards on this match. I get an odd over 2 for this event to happen so pretty good if you ask me Wink

Got the pick perfectly on this match. I didn't expect Osasuna to win the match though, but that is mostly due to Rodrigo getting a foolish red card in minute 29'.. That costed Valencia the match(3 points) and that's definitely not professional behaviour. As I've outlined in my prediction post it was a tough match and close match besides that red card. That's why I preferred to make a safer bet on the number of goals taking into account the statistics Wink
Dumb rodrigo , the game changed totally 180° after that red card ... my parlay should have won with Valencia moneyline @2.95 , even though he scored the only goal for Valencia... the game and the result might would really different if they play with 11 players , crazy disaster I'm really pissed off with that rodrigo behavior.

Anyways It's just a new record for valencia getting red card in 3 matches consecutively...

10/19 against Atletico Madrid , Lee Kang-in this youngster get a red card at 90+1'

10/24 against lille at champions league, M. Diakhaby 84'

And in this match yesterday rodrigo scored a goal at 14' then sent off at 29' .
It seems the team is lack of discipline... total 4 red cards received this season. What a record!
2810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the discipline help in gambling? on: October 28, 2019, 06:21:00 PM
Having good discipline might not make you win more in gambling because many games are purely luck-based, but for games that don't completely rely on luck, I can definitely see confidence being a good thing for your chances of winning.

If you've got extremely weak discipline, you probably shouldn't be gambling in the first place because you're more prone to gambling more than you can afford. Gambling's certainly nothing to mess around with, especially when many people get hooked and can't stop, and others that just don't seem to learn from losses and continue to do the same thing over and over again in an attempt to 'earn back' their losses and more. A long time ago, I also used to rather recklessly gamble my money, and though I get less adrenaline from gambling now compared to then, I get a better feeling afterwards knowing I've still got plenty of money left compared to nothing or almost nothing.
If he means about discipline is being disciplined to manage the bankroll such as to cash the money out & stopping to play for a while everytime you hit a win to reduce some pressure, emotions and greedy inside yourself then I might tend to agree that this discipline manner could always help you to gamble healthy responsibly , that's the point to risk your money in gambling without risking your whole personal life as it's quite often happens when someone gamble emotionally undisciplined they are ended up with crazy bad things as worst as suicidal attempts or at least ended up in huge debts.

Being disciplined is more than just helpful in gambling, it would help you to get a better character in person overall.

Should we be disciplined in gambling, does it mean that we are better at gambling, or that we put less money at stake with more enjoyment, less fear, adrenaline, etc. ?
Me interested in answering the last question?

I can't see any relation between being disciplined to putting less money , less fear but to purely considering gamble as entertainment, am I missing your point?

But if you thinks that which one better between staking more money vs less money to get the entertainment in gambling, I'd say less money releases any fears to go against the odds , to go against the majority and to make you disciplined ... as for the result, you'll play nothing to lose.

and terrible Juventus who has 25 shot attempts but only 4 on target ... useless ball possession as usual.
Sarri managed to do something that I thought was impossible to accomplish after seeing Juve last season: to make them play a lot worse. Pathetic display of football week in and week out thanks to this "Sarriball" meme :/

Anyways, another weekend, another Cagliari bet for me, this time I went for ML @4.63, but unfortunately, they couldn't get past a draw against Torino. Regardless, 7 games unbeaten and still in the top 6 for another week, not bad for my favorite underdogs in Europe  Smiley
Sarriball was never be a successful strategy just look at what he has done at Chelsea.. he is indeed leaving the club with trophy but he leaves some bad philosophy too by relying midfielders to control the game in the middle and somehow the team struggling to score a goal. No wonder the Chelsea fans start making a 'f*ck sarriball' chants that time , the same thing could happened to Juventus sooner or later especially when they can't secure the top spot of serie A.

Damn cagliari I didn't notice that they are on unbeaten run , thanks to you mate I might pay attention on them now Grin . It seems they are quite often to conceded too , almost every single game  Shocked
The next cagliari game is against bologna another mediocre team at home , should be a good odds even for the home team.

VAR might become enemy for liverpool this season... but penalty seems will always friendly for liverpool Grin.

Speaking about VAR , arsenal goal through papastathopoulos on 85' is ruled out ... VAR decision to overturn Arsenal winner is really hurting especially for me who has a bet slip for arsenal to win @4.4 that time , daymnnn this VAR system just love making drama not for those people on the pitch but for us who bet on them too!

When a technology adopted in a sports something like this will happen. I see it better because technology never takes sides with one club, all based on fact.

in big 5 only Arsenal played draw the rest won the match, Liverpool always get double the spirit when playing at home, I'm happy to see they still maintaining their performance.
Such VAR and GLT ( Goal-line Technology) in football been controversial for years before it's officially used in a competitive league like EPL , the human sense on us reject these technologies .. the natural flow, intensity, excitement and emotion in the game is gone due these technologies.. that's the real football with its endless debate as an additional entertainment.

Nobody talk about how the referee should allow or disallow the goal anymore ... as there is undeniable fact on the screen. I feel empty with this VAR adoption ... GLT much better makes sense for me.

Guess i think  I will looking for liverpool first loss in the next couple match against arsenal and Aston villa , the odds would be very nice and I'm sure sooner or later the unbeatable run will get halted for liverpool.

Did someone else receive a won bet on Arsenal over 2.5 ? The system auto-credited the goal and after 3 minutes it was off-side credited by VAR but I still won the ticket LOL! I think whoever credited the bet from their betting radar had a rough night as I had 2 tickets on Arsenal over 2.5 and they credited me both of them with a WIN even if Arsenal only had 2 goals. I know its not normal but Steve, how did happened ? Also nice race on F1 tonight , Ferrari again showed that they got such a worse strategic team as they should secure that 1-2 position till the end.
Really? the auto-credited is that fast? I don't think it's because of the fast auto-credited system .. as it took a couple minutes for VAR decision to rule out that goal which between the goal and the decision is short if they have that fast auto-credit system for real , why my over goals always delayed up to 1 hour everytime i hit it so far Grin , I think it's just a pure system failure , I experienced these days a couple case that caused by some sportsbet.io 'system failure' even I still have one case about the fantasy league under investigation and it's been 3 days now my case still labeled under investigation.

Not sure what is happening??? Huh

Go salahhhh! Wink

Just dont screw it up in the final 12 minutes plus injury time now. Smiley
Cause the spurs are putting on the pressure with song still on the pitch. Sad
Got exactly the same odds @2.8 when liverpool left behind 0-1 to tottenham .. I'm in to bet live for the home team making a comeback and we won it finally! Not an easy one although liverpool tortured Tottenham during the game ... the goal itself come from a penalty kick. VAR might become enemy for liverpool this season... but penalty seems will always friendly for liverpool Grin.

2816  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: questions about technical analysis on: October 28, 2019, 04:38:02 AM
in simple, my question is , does technical analysis work every time and can we predict every move using technical analysis or times when we should not predict price using technical analysis

Obviously, technical analysis will be one of your reference in making your future strategy. Just keep in mind that it won't guarantee you to work every time so don't rely mainly on it.

And yes, you can predict "some possibilities" by using technical analysis. However, here in crypto, no doubts that technical analysis does not always work most of the times due to the fact that crypto is heavily volatile. Even on a strong bullish run, you can always expect that something will spoil the momentum along the way even how properly backed-up a certain analysis is.

So what to do now? While looking for some technical analysis, also consider other factors such as current events, news, monitoring daily volume and even your "own instinct".
Couldn't agree more with you, there's no way technical analysis guarantee you to get a correct prediction all the time especially in an open market such cryptocurrency market where things could turned around 180° despite there a lot of factor supported based on the technical analysis to move onto certain directions yet there's a lot more to consider include how the media often affected traders to bring FOMO or FUD which it could changed everything and messed up your technical analysis.

So yeah it's just one of many way to predict the market movement that you should not always rely on but you might would use it often in the trading business besides fundamentals factors .. psychology factors etc

Granada have been magnificent so far this, The 2 - 0 win against Barcelona earlier this season drew my attention to them and I'm indeed still backing them to grab a spot for at least the Europa League next season.

I'm not too focused on La Liga this week because of Real Madrid and Barcelona not being in action, but they both should resume during the new rounds of La Liga scheduled for the mid-week.
Yupp for now granda is on top of la liga ( Played 10 , points 20 ) ahead barcelona who has 1 more game to play with 19 points. It might won't last long but yeah la liga need more competitor besides atletico , sevilla or valencia. Too early to judge anything... just good to see a mediocre team beating the domination ... at least they are on top for a couple days from now Grin.

It's live at 88' espanyol beat levante away for 0-1 so far. The second winning of the season for espanyol, the battle to avoid relegation is begin.

Of course it is a big deal mate considering chelsea this season only gets 2 cleansheet out of 10 first epl matches! Despite the impressive performance... there's a lot of work to do especially at the back, the team is lack of discipline . Chelsea has now conceded 16 goals just from 10 epl matches (5th the most conceded)... crazy bad stats for a team that stand at the top 4 now.

Of course Norwich this season is the giant killer ... we have seen that. Beat Manchester city 3-2 and now onto next the other Manchester... 2-1 for Norwich and pukki to score. The  odds for home team to win is @4.4 . Goodluck!
But Chelsea with Lampard is more beautiful to watch, I am sure you agree with that. I admit conceding many goals is an important problem for this team to fix, because any large team will not look good if they concede many goals in every season. Defense must be increased, because it is unlikely the team will be able to maintain victory without a solid defensive wall.

It is. Lampard touch provide a wonderful teamwork between the goalkeeper line to defender , defender line to midfielder and midfielder line to striker. I'm more than happy with the team performance.. it's so satisfying watching them to play even at the epl opening match where we are lost to Manchester United 4-0 ... chelsea played wonderfully just too much unlucky factors there, the fans of course was not happy with the result but with the gameplay served that time .. the fans have a full faith that things could get better and voila! here we are having great week by getting 7 winning streaks in all competitions. Massive progress made by the gaffer!

Anyway for today match I interested in :

2820  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Smart hodling vs just hodling on: October 27, 2019, 11:22:39 AM
I don't know man .. I think the risk is our friend for those who doing this .. I personally experienced to make my $2,000 savings become $15,000 unexpectedly from 2016 to 2017 , I have a strong faith in bitcoin and some altcoins since 2014 .. decided to go allin and I think I did it in the right time and on the right coins Grin .

On top of that ... I did it again for the second time in March this year when bitcoin hit its lowest price @3,700 USD and ethereum @100 USD , I sell my house put all the money on ethereum and guess what? A few weeks later it turned 260% profit! Coincidence? Luck? I don't think so Grin

You need to aim for 300% , 500%, 10,000% profit or even more in cryptocurrency , you know why? Because it is the place! If you looking for steady non-volatile investment... then stocks or gold is your choice.
It's all fun and games until that trick doesn't work mate. It's gambling. It's not funny when someone puts their life savings or their house into Bitcoin and they lose 60% of their money, or hundreds of thousands or dollars. It's well documented and it's happened many times. For every person who does well there's a person who does badly.

I'll re-iterate, it's gambling, and to encourage people to do it as a sound investment is dishonest.
I'm fully aware that this kind move would always tend to gamble oriented ... well it's up to you , I don't feel like I'm doing such way.
