2801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Why should you try gambling at least once ? on: June 09, 2020, 06:28:48 PM
Well , Gambling is much appreciated sports in the Crypto world . As a person who never did Gamble you might think of it as a problematic sport where people only loose money .

Well I do think we could list some healthy effects of CONTROLLED gambling :

1. That short surge in dopamine does provide a good entertainment for people who are bored with their monotonous life.

2. The added possibility that you could actually Win , does make the game lot more fun.

3. It is more of an art rather than luck , but then again one should remember that they do provide a considerable revenue to the government and trust me it's a lot .

4. It does provide users with a sense of security since due to high inflow of cash they always need to be top in the security line .

 Cheesy

I do think one should try it at least once , getting addicted to this is no doubt a serious issue and should be timely solved , but fun gambling with time to time care I do think is a healthy sport and should be legal in most countries.

2802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Share your stategy how to grow bitcoin on: June 09, 2020, 04:28:16 PM
Hello bitcoin lovers!
Because of wrong or weak stategy, most of traders/holders unable to grow the expected amount of bitcoin. Kindly share your best stategy how can anyone grow their bitcoin amount?  I believe, thus we bitcointalkers will help each other Wink

I do think the part-time traders would actually be benefited from following things :

* Take care of the market's every move
* Check price every once in a while
* Create a spreadsheet of losses and profits
* Don't spend more than what you can actually handle
* Be aware of the new news and technology
* Persistence
* Hardwork
* Look for good trading platforms
* Have your own local community regarding this
* Always make sure to jump in opportunities carefully

If all this fails
* HODL

This market does have a lot of potential of growth and improvement and it's something of the future , we don't realize this now but we are actually very lucky to be involved in this .
2803  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat is a Digital currency without Value on: June 09, 2020, 11:17:04 AM
Money works as a medium of exchange the currency started 69,000 years ago, people used things of value to trade goods and services. Such as Gold and silver, After the second world war, they were a gathering by the world power to tag the US dollar to the Gold value, countries around the world had their currency trade at the United States dollar value.

What the Government mean by Fiat currency

In the 20th century, President Nixon initiated the fiat currency, a currency that doesn't have its value tagged to Gold or anything of value. So fiat currency means anything that circulates by force, they have the right to call anything of no value money.

Why fiat is a digital currency

Bitcoin is a digital currency, just like the fiat currency has digits all over the bank. When the visa card was established people didn't understand it's usefulness when the Government wanted a cashless community the same as bitcoin just that we need fiat to get bitcoin unless we earn it like other money, today people now use cards to book flights, hotels, etc

Features Fiat share with bitcoin

Irretrievable: Fiat has this feature when you think of fiat outside the bank, For instance, you bought a phone that doesn't work and need your money back, the bank cannot do anything concerning this transaction because you didn't use it digitally.

Fraudulent: Before bitcoin, fiat has been used to perform different kinds of businesses, a few times ago JP Morgan called bitcoin a fraud currency knowing that anything money can be used for fraud too. They are a few reasons why a banker won't like bitcoin those reasons why the Kings don't like democracy.

Truth about bitcoin

Just like in this forum. People whose purpose is learning new knowledge have great benefits. As a beginner that wants to use bitcoin, forget the past of bitcoin were you know that a lot of people made profits from trading bitcoin but focus on the ecosystem of how money works. A world where we can have control over money and activities like elections using the blockchain to have a free and fair election in places like Africa, Asia, America, etc

Challenges of bitcoin

Bitcoin is suffering from being too popular because of the power we have over our money it handles 7 to 10 transactions per second with high transaction fees especially during the bull run like what we see today bitcoin transaction fees are too high. But the lightning network technology will reduce the cost of bitcoin transactions and enable fast transaction time.

The greatest fear of bitcoin users

As we know the interest of our governments on having a cashless community, the same JP morgan called bitcoin fraud is building a digital currency on blockchain JPM coin that will be used in the future with other fiat currencies So my fear is the government taking over the blockchain technology

In conclusion, what will happen if the government takes over the blockchain technology and also the future of the lightning network to bitcoin?

I want to ask at what value is bitcoin attached to just like in this article dollar was tagged to gold and things of value before the Fiat came into existence?

Thanks.

See I would like to say certain points here :

1. Not all Fiats are without value , in many countries the value of Fiat does depend on the gold reserves a country has , at the same time in many cases it's also backed by a hard asset .

2. Around 50% of the population using banking services are using online banking. 69% of people does have an online bank account , therefore it makes approximately 35% of people in the whole world using the online Fiat services.
Which unfortunately does not make fiat an online digital currency.

3. Rest , I do think we should remember that we have Customer rights and therefore one can always go and apply with the right things in a consumer court . Bank cannot handle calls like that 24*7

4. Frauds were done in times when people used grains or even gold as a Currency , it is not dependent on the Currency itself but the people engaging in bad activities.

See I love Bitcoins but I also love Fiat . Both are indispensable part of my life and trust me none can fully replace another.

Fiat is an important tool , I do think it would be beneficial if in the upcoming years Blockchain would be used with it , this way corruption could be dealt with .
2804  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to put my Bitcoin on a hardware wallet, but... on: June 09, 2020, 09:37:02 AM
I do think if you thinks about this , you would have a 30 minutes time window for the transferring of coins from your hardware wallet to a normal exchange.

Plus you should always remember that it can sometimes take upto days if there is problem with the network.

Therefore if you are thinking about security options and thinking of selling when the price is high , you have to actually choose one option , either super security or either selling when the time is good .

I do suggest you should find a nice offline wallet which also works as an exchange and then store your coins there , uninstall all the fishy softwares from your mobile and be very careful VERY !

You can very easily find how you can protect your wallet from any theft , try and search about that .

Other than that if you have excess money , you can just leave your Bitcoins in a hardware wallet as inheritance , who knows how high it will go ? .
HODL!!!!

2805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto's utility as a payment tool on: June 09, 2020, 06:45:22 AM
One can always try the lightning network but at the same time its not like you guys are actually able to do the transaction for free .

See the thing is , the transfer fee is really justifiable , because there are numerous small miners working hard and their salary is dependent on it .

I do believe that we are ignoring the fact that someone from the creators wrote :

"Craig Steven Wright is a liar and a fraud. He doesn't have the keys used to sign this message. The Lightning Network is a significant achievement. However, we need to continue work on improving on-chain capacity. Unfortunately, the solution is not to just change a constant in the code or to allow powerful participants to force out others. We are all Satoshi."

Thus we do realize that we have somehow achieved something good but still there are security issues with the lightning network. It might even promote centralization in the near future. Therefore I do think it's something we are not taking into account.

We have to actually reach another level and I do believe till then we should be happy with the Bitcoins as an asset ofcourse.

2806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: June 09, 2020, 05:00:48 AM
As I remember correctly Las Vegas Casinos are notorious for serving the users alcohol and other Beverages.

So : They expect a drunk person to obey the rules ?

Protests a Riots have greatly impacted the Corona pandemic now. We just have to wait a couple more days to see the cases rising .

Protests are important but unfortunately people are not maintaining a certified distance between themselves when they are on the streets .

We are now still waiting for a second wave of the Corona Virus now .I do think they shouldn't have opened the casinos. If they did open it up , at least stop serving alcohol for a while .

With approximately 9000 cases in the entire Nevada , I do think they should have waited for a while. Problem with rules is that , people don't follow them . I do hope everything stays stable and safe .
2807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blockchain gambling are ushering in new development opportunities? on: June 09, 2020, 12:02:51 AM
I do think we should understand that Blockchain gives a person full freedom from the government and other central bodies and until and unless you are not submitting your KYC , you are absolutely safe and hidden.
As long as you are not engaging in some malpractices , you should be good to go for the long run . I have seen some amazing Gambling sites here which provides user with full Privacy and security and runs on Bitcoins and such.
Privacy in terms of Fiat can never be attained.
_________________________________________________________
What you are talking about is a level above that . Blockchain would for sure provide transparency but at the same time privacy.

But making a new app and then finding people to try it out would take a lot of time . It is a good idea but actually needs a lot of investment ,time , effort , money .

I do think even though there are many apps already in the market significant ones are very few . But this will be a very important thing in the future . Currently we Are  still struggling with the idea of people accepting Bitcoins and cryptocurrencies.
2808  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Currency Value Falls During Recession? on: June 08, 2020, 09:28:03 PM
Let us first understand that recession is an unfortunate turn of events where everything falls down in value , Fiat is something that will ofcourse fall too . But the reason we don't see that much difference is because:

The government tries to control the market value by selling the shares with a particular important currency, like if you have inr and usd shares in the bank , the government advises the banks to sell the USD shares so that their Currency can maintain a strong hold .
But unfortunately this provides government with a limited power .

At the same time government tends to print a lot of money during recession to support the people and the economy which is slightly detrimental for us for the long run only .

Economic decline would affect everything including Fiat.

When we are talking about the security factor one should understand that :
It is only viable for a small percentage of population, rest are suffering to even maintain normal lifestyle for their families.

2810  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the current rally in US stock market help it’s economy in the long run?. on: June 08, 2020, 04:30:17 PM
One should understand US in now way is in the right state. When we are talking about economy coming back stronger and stuff one should remember that they have lost a lot and trust me the value is plummeting a lot.

Trump is always lying about the economic value because he wants to state how he did not fail as a president.

Plus * Trump was involved in Child trafficking *
 https://www.india.com/viral/anonymous-hacktivists-return-after-george-floyd-murder-expose-files-on-donald-trumps-child-trafficking-princess-dianas-alleged-killing-4047847/

Can you trust a man like this ?

This is most unfortunate turn of events . It will take years to make sure that the American economy is on the right track and till then one should just ignore this individual. He has no right to be the president.

It is scary to think about how horrible the economy actually is because millions of people are literally starving because of unemployment+underwaged and people working double shifts or two different jobs if they can just to survive, whereas companies are showing great returns on their stocks.

What do we really consider "economy" anymore, just because hundreds of companies came up and said that their stocks are on the rise, does that mean the economy is doing well? Is that really the only indicator we need? I feel like companies could be doing better but that doesn't translate to economy being good in general, not for the regular people at least.

People who wake up, go to work, come home, watch netflix, go to sleep and do the same things every day are having hard time, and those are over 100 million people, probably over 200 million, when that many people have hard time, how could we say anything by just looking at the stocks.

Agreed , the time is unfortunate Sad
Jobs are none
Market is dying
Stock market might show ups and down but it does not change the real value of the market right now .
We will need years to solve this crisis.
2811  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and COVID on: June 08, 2020, 01:22:45 PM
Unfortunately one cannot just make 100% transition to only Bitcoins. In most countries cryptocurrencies are still frowned upon . We cannot go to the nearest vendor and ask him to accept the payment in Bitcoins.
Small payments in Bitcoins is actually more of a problem than choice.
Also at the same time I do believe that Bitcoins is the one supporting the economy and the people have an opportunity to earn through trading since the stock market is not a good option for 2020.
At the same time overseas transactions are right now much safer if it's done in Bitcoins. You have to go all the way to bank and at the same time it is dangerous for your health. Plus I do believe that keeping money in banks right now is very risky.
Bitcoins is the best performing asset according to the reports in 2020.
To increase the adoption of Bitcoins one needs to actually tell their friends and family to use it , as for me am gonna gift my brother some Bitcoins on his birthday and not Fiat.

Cryptocurrencies is undoubtedly very important for the whole world right now.
2812  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s digital yuan could replace bitcoin & end US dollar hegemony on: June 08, 2020, 07:08:19 AM
See there is a big reason why the people won't be that kind with China's digital currency.
*The Chinese government always keeps track of the users and their activities , therefore privacy will be compromised for sure*
I do not believe that it does have the support to replace Bitcoins and dollars .
See the good thing about Bitcoins is , it's independent and does not depend on any governmental body , so the government can control it externally but internal control will always be with the users and therefore I do believe that any digital currency which is supported by the government will kill the whole purpose of having one.
Independence and Privacy.
2813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I like to learn and use bitcoin on: June 07, 2020, 07:22:17 PM
I do think Bitcoins gives you :

Independence
Possibility of earning better than any other investment
Security
Privacy

Unfortunately the governmental bodies fail to recognize the fact that , they should give their citizens privacy when it comes to their hard earned money . They are literally tracking everyone through KYC .

Now they are trying to control the cryptocurrencies too .

What Bitcoins gives it's user is unmatched. It is a sense of security that they really own what they earn which I do think any person owning Fiat won't be able to experience.
2814  Economy / Economics / Re: What opportunity costs will governments take. on: June 07, 2020, 05:13:09 PM
People might be talking about the opportunity costs and such but at the end of the day what am worried about is this Pandemic going to kill more than half of the population due to reopening.

But then again at the same time people are also dying at home with nothing to eat.

Sustainability as we are talking here is long gone , the government needs to build up opportunities for the people , they need to start jobs for the less privileged ones , they need to increase the products produced by their own country . Decrease the import and give people a fair wage . I don't think they will be able to put more funds in now.

We need job opportunities.
We need employment.
We need people to realize that , they have to use products made in their country more , which will boost the local sales.

Taking loan from world bank might not be option here , over the time this loan will eventually crush the already existing economy that is hanging by the thread .
2815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a spreadsheet for you wins and losses for tax purposes? on: June 07, 2020, 02:38:49 PM
I am pretty sure , you might or might not keep it but The government would sure do.
If it is legal for you to do Gambling in your country you do need to be very careful of what and where you are doing it and at the same time avoid the sites which asks for KYC. I have seen a couple here on the forum.

I do think every Gambler should Gamble in Bitcoins since this would mean you won't have to pay taxes for some countries.

But unfortunately ok the other hand there are countries asking for as high as 10-20% . If you win something then you have to pay them WHEN THEY ACTUALLY DID NOTHING but create problems for cryptocurrencies. Nor do they support it in most countries .

As a responsible citizen one should try and keep a spreadsheet and but I don't think one should pay taxes regarding winning things in cryptocurrencies since, it is not something which government is technically supporting or even using.

But being a responsible citizen who does not want to have problems one should always keep .
2816  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs. Gold: which has been more of a safe-haven asset in 2020? on: June 07, 2020, 06:25:55 AM
When we talk about performance wise , we can very easily see who is performing well in 2020 Cheesy , no wonder it's Bitcoins.
Gold have a bigger market and we already know how it's price does not bulge even in the bad times.
According to a report published in March *The Gold was on the path to show continuous growth and was already 17% up*
Now if we follow up the recent news one would be able to see how the price of Gold is getting down recently and at the same time due to no available jobs present , people cannot invest and we might have to wait a long time for the recovery of the same.

When we are talking about Bitcoins , 2020 has been a great year for Bitcoins as a whole and one can easily see the reports and future predictions , which are really hopeful . Therefore I do believe Bitcoins has been more of a safe heaven in 2020 and ofcourse the best performing asset.
I do think safety comes with assurance that your investments will grow over time ~ therefore I do believe even though Gold Might be performing good in the upcoming days , the growth of Bitcoins is unmatched.
2817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin donation vs Bank donations on: June 06, 2020, 01:43:19 PM
I'm for banks donation because this is much safer and been the traditional way of donating.

If it is traditional , it does not mean it is safer or better.
At the same time one should remember that most of the bank donations goes into the pockets of the government. I would like to state here that , due to Corona Virus , the foreign national students were supposed to be taken care of by the government.
Many people donated . Including the Big personalities for the kids in the college and it was all over the news about how the government would being the people abroad studying home.

Reality: Government asked to pay 2.5 times the normal air charges + additional charges for quarantine and even food , which was approximately 40$ a day for singer sitting.

Government is actually earning from both sides. Showing in the media and asking for donations and here what is happening is only known to people. Parents who can afford to pay that much are okay but for middle class this is a very difficult situation .

Dare I ask my government where did the money went ?

Dare I ask the US government if they did not have money for the PPE for the nurses , how they managed to bring PPE and other gear for the military AGAINST THEIR OWN PEOPLE.
When one military full equipment could have paid for 31 PPE !!

PPE= Personal Protective Equipment.

This is hilarious man the government is so corrupt and people are so gullible. Only if we can use blockchain there and see where all these donations are going. Politicians will be running for their lives in a matter of seconds.
2818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin donation vs Bank donations on: June 06, 2020, 10:56:56 AM
Few benefits one can see from using blockchain :

1. Transparency of the funds
2. Assurance for the donators
3. Corruption will be tackled properly

I do think the problem will be :

1. Volatility
2. People usually don't have BTC , not everyone has it , so they prefer donating in Fiat

At the same time I do know that people who ask for donations usually prefer giving a full transparency to the donators using the receipts and all .

Here on our forum I have seen people actually using blockchain and the forum to assure the donators about what is being done with their money , which is amazing , this also attracts more people to donate and do good .

Transparency is a much needed with operations like these.
2819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [DISCUSSION] How to overcome a big loss in gambling? on: June 05, 2020, 10:43:16 PM
I do think one should take a break from Gambling if they have suffered any huge loss.

If you suffered a loss that could mean :

1. Either the site you were using wasn't 100% transparent and real .
One should always check their spam records . Not every site is going to give you equal probability of winning.

2. You are not calculating your own money and risks properly. One should take into account what they earn , what they should save and what they should use for Gambling.
-I always use the 50% rule .
50% of what you earn you should save , rest 50% you should actually use for your daily activities , 10% of that you can use in Gambling.

See Gambling is like this age old tradition which is not something which should be abused . In moderation it does have many benefits. I have seen people win *100 times their investments. Just be careful and choose your gambling investment sites carefully and research .
_________________________________________________________

I do think some things that can benefit you in this case might be :

1. Check if the rules of the site are fair .
2. Save up ! So that you can have a stable bank account .
3. Learn from the experience of others and yourself too .
4. Do not use all of your money in just one bet , split it up so that you can minimize the loss .
5. Mentally prepare yourself for everything
2820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ask Google: What is the best performing asset in 2020 on: June 05, 2020, 03:58:22 PM
Not only that there are investors willing to risk this volatility because many possibilities are here right now .

https://www.coindesk.com/first-mover-bloomberg-20k-bitcoin-call
- this clearly something everyone has been waiting for since a long time . Whosoever is holding their coins since years and whosoever purchased the coins back in 2017 but weren't able to get any benefits from it . They should stock up now .

It might take time but we are near September , which I do think is like the golden month for Bitcoins.

The price sometimes tends to decrease during the holiday season but shows a growth starting from September , therefore am placing my bets on it and waiting for the big wave .

At the same time it would mean a lot for people since due to Quarantine most of us are having a really hard time.

-At the same time now the government won't talk about the Fiat which is on the path of showing a downtrend approximately 10-15% for sure.

-the news authorities needs to stop talking about the volatility of the cryptocurrencies like Bitcoins (every investor knows well what they are getting into) they now need to cover up this news and see all the good it's doing for the community.
