2801  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you in favor of same sex marriage? on: July 05, 2017, 01:38:22 PM
As long as it doesn't effect my pocketbook, I don't care.

I don't want people telling me how to conduct my life, so I treat others that way.

Yes they too have feelings. And as long as they do not cause any harm or trouble to their surroundings that would be okay.  Besides we do not give them anything for them to live so it is not right to treat them wrong.  But I am not favor for them to marry each other on church.  It is okay if a mayor would do that.
2802  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people pray? on: July 05, 2017, 11:50:42 AM
People believe that with the help of prayer God will hear them and help in the fulfillment of their desires or other necessary help. I believe that it is not necessary to pray, you can throw it in your own words.

Well really, you are maybe too confident for yourself.  But of course it is a matter of what we believe in.  Actually not only the desire that God will give but our wants and needs.  Actually we do not need things because God will provide.  But if we want to ask something which we wants and pray for it, be atleast specific.  I believe in prayer.  God listens.
2803  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is violence really the key to a drug-free country? on: July 05, 2017, 11:43:20 AM
I do not think that violence or assisting addicts in a rehabilitation center will help to eliminate this problem. Propaganda of drugs especially among celebrities will push new people to try this shit.

Maybe you are correct.  If you did not experienced to live in a country were so much crime caused by drug addicts perhaps you would not mind and consider yourself on the side of the people who believe that everything can be changed.  We are used up with the merciless killings and seems everyday by these drug dependents.  They were nothing but a bunch of criminals who already lost their souls because of the killings they have made.
2804  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think of North Korea? on: July 05, 2017, 11:38:49 AM
Well as been portrayed by mainstream media, North Korea has been identified with their leaders as "crazy" and "lunatic" and they are threat to the global peace. And they hold an arsenal of nuclear weapons and ready at their disposal and the most repressive government in the world.

But I think its more to that, I believed North Koreans are also a victim of their government and leadership. We haven't heard about famine or insufficient food for their citizens. Their is still embargo upon them and I think this is causing much problem specially those living in their. We are lucky that we are on the other side and not inside the reclusive country of North Korea.

Yes, you are correct.  Because of the news portrayed by media, North Korea's image really become shaded.  They always see them as the country that always test their nuclear missiles in the sea.  But what do we really know about the people living in that country.  Nothing right?  Only the lifestyle and being dictator of their leader.  I watched a video wherein a guy travels the Norkor and everything seems to be fine there.
2805  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Where would society be without the internet? on: July 05, 2017, 11:35:24 AM
A society without the Internet will become more mobile and will communicate more in real life. But you do not need to completely abandon the Internet, because this is a progress through which you can be aware of all the news and earn.

Yes I agree with you that we will communicate more often and many will be friends in real life.  There would be no facebook friend but only real friends.   Everything will live in harmony because everyone communicates well and talk with each other.  There would be no fight I guess considering that everyone understands everyone.  I remember before that even people who live miles away from our house, knew each other.
2806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: July 05, 2017, 11:29:50 AM

I first learned of the news on television, saying that bitcoin became very popular and the exchange rate became very high from year to year, from which I was interested to learn it hehehhe

Really then you must know bitcoin lately because you just watched it on news on television.  Before when bitcoin was just new it was only popular to online gamers who really buy using bitcoins.  Sad that they were not able to know the good thing that bitcoin can bring.  But if you will read all the post here it was and always been because of their friends.
2807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: July 05, 2017, 11:26:25 AM
Well I can say that there were many people who are asking but I do not give them any attention and say that bitcoin is complicated which makes it so hard to understand. Because when people ask you things they will ask so many questions about what you are doing. It is so good if you just keep it to yourself.

That is what they are always telling me that it becomes a problem to new people who are interested in bitcoins.  They see that it is complicated without even trying it.  It seems peculiar at first because do money online really exist or a money in digital form really exist.  When they starting to ask things I will just give some video clips on youtube or any tutorial articles or sites that discusses about bitcoin.  So like what you said, sometimes it is easy and comfortable to just keep it to yourself.
2808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sound Money? on: July 05, 2017, 11:19:37 AM
Yes,bitcoin is sound money. It has become today popular all over the world. It is legalized in some countries. We could easily convert bitcoins into cash in any parts of the world.Since transaction fee is getting less once again,we could be able to buy any products immediately without any delay.Since bitcoin is decentralized,no governments or banks could devalue it.

And the good thing is, there would be no tax!  That is one of the great thing about bitcoins.  And it really sounds money because just having a bit of bitcoin equates into money.  It really has  a value and you cannot find anything like bitcoin.  It saves your time, effort and sometimes your cash if you will try to buy something through money.  So it does really sounds money.
2809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is useless or is it? on: July 05, 2017, 11:11:40 AM
Bitcoin is the advanced technology useful for doing big transactions in a simple way. Some of the people said that Bitcoin is not useful, waste of investing money, etc... Don't think in negative way and research about bitcoin, then you will get an overall idea. Be positive....

Those who have the guts to say those things against our bitcoin never really know anything about bitcoin.  They maybe have no idea about bitcoin and have no guts to try it.  Actually maybe they are just being afraid.  Well, we do not have to be affected with them with what they perceived with bitcoin.  We knew what is the potential of bitcoin as an investment.
2810  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you give bitcoin as a wedding gift? on: July 05, 2017, 11:07:17 AM
I don't give bitcoin as wedding gift atleast for me wedding gift has to be physically visible and also there should be some meaning for gift. But in other side i would love to receive bitcoin as a gift .

Lol. You are willing to receive bitcoin as a gift but you would not want to give a gift through bitcoin.  But I have the same sentiment with you, I will not trade my bitcoin to anything else.  I will not give it to someone because I know its potential.  Well I will buy something for a wedding that is memorable and really something good.  Like perhaps a trip to somewhere for their honeymoon.
2811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: July 05, 2017, 11:04:04 AM
It does not seem like it, because it takes a very long time to get big profits. How long you wait for as much as you earn.

Yes it is true.  Becoming rich with bitcoin is not instant if you are only starting right now.  Those who are instant millionaires were those who have kept their bitcoins for a long time now.  They managed to keep it and believe that it will be someday a good way to earn and invest.  And yes, bitcoin did not fail them.  It is now the most used digital coins.  But becoming rich with it will truly will take time.
2812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We can't buy something with Bitcoin quickly on: July 05, 2017, 10:42:35 AM
I have never used bitcoin in real life, but I imagine most want to wait for a confirmation, but who wants to wait 30 min or more? That's why I've never understood how people are using bitcoin in real life.

I think waiting for 30 minutes or more is really a big deal.  But thank God I never experienced it.  Five minutes transaction time is already long for me.  I think the factor there is the internet connection.  I do not know if the blockchain would be responsible for that.  I actually buying phone reload and even paying bills through it.  As long as I have clicked the payment button I will just wait for the confirmation.  Do not need to worry.
2813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: July 05, 2017, 10:37:37 AM
I plan on using some of my bitcoin on investment and some of them i would sell for money... I wont keep 100% of my investment in bitcoin because it still risky due to the volatility of the price..

I will still be earning from the mining that i did

Yes of course, investing in bitcoin a hundred percent is not really good.  As you say bitcoin price is not stable thus it is really risky.  If I have a good amount of bitcoin like you, I may exchange my bitcoins to cash and invest on buying stocks.  I would also try to have savings account on a bank and buy some mutual funds.  Continue to do the old way to earn with bitcoins like trading, investing, and posting.
2814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: July 04, 2017, 12:27:14 PM
Every person can use bitcoin, there is no particular system for ordinary citizens, students, entrepreneurs,... Just, the people know about the technology and the usage of bitcoin. According to my opinion, right now, it is mostly used by entrepreneurs.

Yes everyone can use it and everyone can earn through it.  Just having electricity, a computer, and an internet connection then anyone can use it.  As long as that person is interested with bitcoin and as long as he really wants to learn.  Plus if he also wants to increase his income.  Because maybe some rich person would not give in to something like this.  But of course, many who are good in terms of money matter and were already rich also uses bitcoin because they love to earn.
2815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: July 04, 2017, 12:22:17 PM
I like bitcoin. Because bitcoin can make money for me. Every day i always read some articles about bitcoin and how to get bitcoin ... initially i heard bitxoin from my friend talk about bitcoin. I do not understand what they are talking about. They're talking about the benefits of bitcoin. They make a lot of money from bitcoin. Finally I decided to join the conversation. I started asking about bitcoin..to them .. and i oun interested to invest bitcoin. Until I was introduced to the bitcointalk forum

It is always been our friends who taught us about bitcoins.  And thanks to them for giving us this great opportunity to earn money.  Then after that I met someone who are into signature campaign and taught me to this bitcoin forum.  Since then, I always have extra income to finance my daily needs.  Still grateful to my friend who I have not heard of yet two years ago I think. Grin  Maybe he is already rich.
2816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: July 04, 2017, 12:13:47 PM
If you mean doing a real job or giving effort. The freelance jobs are the best source of bitcoin. They pay you in bitcoin.

Really?  I never heard of it but it sounds really interesting.  I want to have a job like that.  But online jobs qualifications are really high.  You should be really an expert in some fields so you might landed a job.  Only problem is they give limited time because of the availability of some customers.  But if you are good in many things and good in searching online job then it is a good thing that you might land many jobs.
2817  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you give bitcoin as a wedding gift? on: July 04, 2017, 12:09:05 PM
I would rather buy them something precious also but not my BTC.  Wink It is too precious for now. I am using it for trading.

Well, except if I have so many already and the person wed is someone who is also into BTC.

Certainly.  It is so precious so I agree with you that I would not give it as a wedding gift.  Like what you said I will buy them something especial or something that will be memorable.  Like a trip to a beautiful island maybe Palawan.  But not giving them my btc.  And besides, what if that couple do not know anything about bitcoin.  They might be shocked and needed time for them to learn about it.  But if I will be given a gift such as bitcoin, I would love to receive it with arms wide open.
2818  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If you kill cow, then you will be killed. on: July 04, 2017, 11:56:45 AM
It's important to respect culture and traditions, but killing a person by a mob is really sad. There was an uproar about a Chinese town that holds dog meat festival. It makes me cringe that someone could eat dog meat, but that's how world is. It is difficult to justify consuming any kind of animal. I can never imagine eating a primate meat, but many people do eat primates in Africa. Cows are sacred animals for Hindus, let them be. Jews and Muslims do not consume pork (I think), well good for me, I get to consume cheaper bacon. Smiley

I agree with you.  It is about respecting the culture and traditions of one place, tribes, or certain religion.  If we are Hindu and it forbids for us to eat beef, then why don't change your religion so you could freely eat it.  But I am sure that these Hindus knows these tradition of them.  Besides, people are hungry and will do anything just to survive even eating a poisonous puffer fish.  It is really important to respect the culture you are in.
2819  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who is the most powerful politicians? on: July 04, 2017, 11:47:24 AM
For me the most powerful politician is also Vladimir Putin and after him are Donald Trump and after him is Viktor Orban ,after him is Angela Merkel and after her is Erdogan.

Viktor Orban? Perhaps you are from Hungary. Do you think that Orban is more powerful than Xi Jinping or Narendra Modi? And another thing. Merkel can't be more powerful than Erdogan. She is quite dependent on Erdogan and the latter has been successful in imposing his views and policies on Merkel. So I'd say that Erdogan comes before Merkel.

You are both wrong because Kim Jung Un is the most powerful politician. Imagine that he is the only politician that totally control his underlings even his fancy haircut was a mandatory for all men on their country. There is no powerful politician can do that thing except for him. My vote goes to him.  Grin Grin Grin

Yes, aside from our Duterte my vote is for the NorKor leader, Kim Jung Un.  I just do not know anything about him but with all what the media reports it seems that he is quite something to be fear of as a leader.  The US is always watching the North Korea leader.  The world is always alarmed whenever the North Korea launches missiles even just to test it.  And if what you said is true that fancy haircut is mandatory for all men on their country, then yes, he is the most powerful.
2820  Other / Off-topic / Re: punishment for rapists on: July 04, 2017, 11:39:54 AM
How could you marry the rapist if that person is already married? Grin  Well unless he is single and willing to marry the girl.  Well, I think death penalty is the best but we do not have it in our country.  I wished it could be passed again as a punishment.  But in some countries the rape victim is punished than the rapist. Because it is like the fault of the woman to be raped.  In middle east countries, yes, they hanged the rapist.  Rapist are victims of drugs, alcohol, and maybe pornography.
