2801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: September 24, 2020, 08:06:39 PM
I expected RCB have changed a bit this season in terms of their perspective towards the game but unfortunately their results haven't. LOL
That was my expectation too, they had Aaron Finch, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers and i expected they could chase any decent score but Virat Kohli dropped the catch of KL Rahul twice and if he would have taken that catch they could have restricted them well below 180 runs but with the way Mohammed Shami and Cottrell bowled and how they picked wickets it was an impossible task for RCB even it was 25 runs short.
2802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Operation DisrupTor: Over $6.5m in cash and crypto seized by FBI on: September 23, 2020, 11:28:16 PM
Can we assume that the crypto is bitcoin? since it is highly used in darknet to buy things, safer than the other cryptocurrencies. Or it is not bitcoin, coz if it is bitcoin they will frontpiece it to the media taking a strong negativity towards the whole crypto community. Or they didn't really know if it is crypto of digital money  Roll Eyes
Most of the darknet deals are taking place in Monero rather than BTCitcoin who is having a trail of every transaction made and no one in the right sense would indulge in illegal activities with situation like these. Coming to this raid, it looks like a combined operation against illegal drugs in darknet market places and the focus is not to trash BTCitcoin but to shut down these drug business enterprises globally and when you are doing that you will find many forms of currency including digital and cryptocurrency.

Look at that boy Sanju samson, keep in mind that he doesn't make into Indian T-20 team regularly. Guess he need more consistency, at start i was more interested to see Yashasvi Jaiswal batting but Samson batting providing me some kind of relief and TBH looking at these guys batting like that i am feeling old af.

Edit 5 : If RR doesn't want to cross 200 mark in this ground then they deserve to lose.
I picked Chennai to win the match and with the way Sanju samson was going i thought they would easily score above 200 runs as he was hitting the ball clean with ease, with a bit of luck CSk was able to pick up wickets.

Damn Archer is hitting six with ease 4 sixes in a row and the score is above 200. It is going to be a tight match and it all depends upon the opening partnership and i hope Watson would take the bowlers apart if not they will be in trouble.

Team owner Priti Zinta, franchise CEO Satish Menon and tons of punters not happy with this recent human error (Umpire's fuckery  Tongue). Some IF/BUT in argument, still its valid argument. FFS use the technology and don't play the GOD.  Grin
The field umpire made this blunder when replays shows that he completed the run and with all the technology in their hands they never confirmed with the third umpire and to be frank that really cost them the match. The funny thing is every ball is monitored by the third umpire for no balls and these sort of tight calls should be given to the third umpire.

Marcus Stoinis had an incredible match with the bat scoring 30 runs in the last over and then giving away 12 runs from the first 3 balls and then somehow he was able to tie the match picking two wickets in the last two balls.
2805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India looking to Re-ban Bitcoin on: September 20, 2020, 04:03:00 PM

The supreme court didn't declared that Bitcoin was legal. They declared that the banking ban on Bitcoin was illegal. Some of the analysts claim that this mean that Bitcoin is legal in India. As such, there was no ban imposed on Bitcoin. However, there was a ban on the use of bank accounts, for the purpose of cryptocurrency trading. This ban was overturned by the supreme court of India.
It is a fine line when it comes to the interpretation of the law,  the mobile association approached the Supreme court challenging the ban imposed against institutions by the RBI and the legality of BTCitcoin and the important note i saw in the judgement is that the court reviewed and said that cryptocurrency is capable of being accepted as a valid payment for the purchase of goods and payment services and the RBI should think about regulating it.

The above highlighted is the almost exact quote from the judgement notes which means it is legal in the eyes of the Supreme court. If the government or the RBI come up with a counter point and convince otherwise we might see a different judgement, but as of now this is the situation.

One of the best fight cards with 4 submissions and 6 knockouts. Khamzat Chimaev surprised me yet again, i was expecting him to take the fight to the ground against a submission specialist but he knocked out Gerald Meerschaert with a single punch and proved he has lethal hands along with his ground game and now Dana White is saying that he might fight before facing Demian Maia which is really crazy as i have not seen anyone fights and dominates two weight divisions coming up the ranks.

Colby Covington once again proves how skillful he is, i always underestimated him but he always proves me wrong.

The fighter that surprised me in this fight card is Darrick Minner, i was expecting Laramie to finish the fight and avoid the grappling exchanges but he presented his neck to a submission specialist within the first minute of the fight.
2807  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lamborghini Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: September 19, 2020, 08:22:57 PM
But deep down stake really wants to give it as lambo, which I understand because this is a lambo lottery and the winner is promised a lambo so to give cash wouldn't be ideal for them, it would be basically a second option.
Will give you a logical reasoning for winners not taking a Lamborghini, in most countries the import tax for luxury car is 100% and no one in the right sense will be willing to spend the rate of a car for winning a lottery in taxes, for example in India any car costing $40000 you need to shell out 100% of the valuation and any vehicle below $40000 you need to pay a tax of 60%. Most of the countries will be having these kind of insane tax brackets to import vehicles and the winner will take the money rather than having the car.
2808  Economy / Economics / Re: Sales of wedding rings are increasing on: September 19, 2020, 04:29:42 PM
My wife and I continue to communicate and we trust each other that this will end, I hope all my friends here are not divorced from their partners during this "PANDEMIC" period. 🍻
It is true that everyone is struggling during this period and the relationships will struggle when you are struggling financially.
Hope everyone will push through these times and if people are holding jewels and if it is necessary to sell them to take care of your family even if it is a wedding ring there is nothing wrong in it as material things can be purchased later. I am trying to sell one of my property and because of the economic crisis that is holding everyone it is taking a long time finding a buyer.

Personally i would say if someone is divorcing or destroying your peace of mind you when you are struggling it is better to let them go rather than holding onto them.

Welcome new participants and wake up everyone..

Majority are favoring MI so posting one interesting stat regarding MI vs Their opening game in IPL  Grin
No idea about this specific stats, if they lost all their first matches in the past then it is possible that they will continue that tradition. The reason is CSK has all the old players and Faf du Plessis is the only player that could perform and i consider their batting line up comparing the MI batting lineup and the bowlers they have.

Edit:

Mumbai lost both their openers.

Saurabh Tiwary looks out of shape with big belly Cheesy.
2810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 18, 2020, 11:57:47 PM
I felt England deliberately lost the match because they were over confident. It was bad bowling with bad fielding that caused Australia to win this match and the series. This was a match that was given away by the English team.
England was confident coming into this match and the way in which they were able to score 300 plus runs from a situation they were struggling to reach anywhere near that score and the fact that Australia failed to chase scores from a strong position, once in the T20 and then in their second match and the way in which they were able to pick up wickets, any captain would be confident but two players changed the match by taking the match deep and that was the difference in winning the series and the match.
2811  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: India plans to introduce law to ban cryptocurrency trading on: September 18, 2020, 09:40:31 PM
India plans to introduce a new law banning trade in cryptocurrencies, placing it out of step with other Asian economies which have chosen to regulate the fledgling market.

The bill is expected to be discussed shortly by the federal cabinet before it is sent to parliament, according to people familiar with the development who who asked not to be identified, citing rules on speaking with the media.
It was just click bait and nothing else, these rumors are already trashed, the cabinet will not be taking cryptocurrency for discussion in the current parliament session and most of the owners of cryptocurrency exchanges already made that clear in social media about the real situation. These articles are meant to create panic and nothing else.

The proposed bill that is mentioned in the article is submitted to the finance minister in 2019 by the Garg committee and after that the Supreme court gave a decision in favor of the exchanges to resume their business and after that there is not much of a change other than articles coming out with fake news about a ban.
2812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Serious question about Bitcoin. Is it a reliable and stable investment? on: September 18, 2020, 08:41:33 PM
What's your opinion on traditional stock and forex. If those were reliable and stable investment then without any argument one will easily conclude bitcoin having all the required properties.
There is a major difference between traditional stock exchange, the market price of a stock is directly dependent on the policies the company makes to have a sustainable growth and the amount of profit they are making annually but in terms of forex the cryptocurrency market can the correlated as the market movement is on similar principles.

Each and every investment has got risk in it, we don't think much about it. When it comes to bitcoin or something related to cryptocurrency investment people are easily getting into panic. This is the reason for a serious examination about the reliability of cryptocurrencies.
The reason for the panic whenever there is a correction in the cryptocurrency market is because there is no benchmark to check the reason why the market went down exactly like we have in stock market, all we know is that there is a massive sell off because some whales thought of booking their profit and the entire market follows.
2813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New breed of bitcoin investors? on: September 18, 2020, 06:28:36 PM
The no. of respondents might be small and do not really represent the new breed of btc investors but it's still a good sign that they do not see this as a pump and dump/get rich quick/ponzi scheme.

What do you make of this survey? Are we seeing a change on how newcomers view bitcoin investment?
The survey is fine and you can have a certain assumption on what the situation would be. We are living in a world when the pre elections polls are opposite to what the real results are, so if there is a certain selection from a small group of people and if they tell that they are willing to hold for the long term, it is good for the moment. Trading is all about making the maximum profit, be it short time or long term investor and no can can predict what the exact market would be and hence having a flexible mind set according to the market situation would be the best bet.

I already forwarded the transaction ID to Royse777 and waiting for the confirmation from him to join the pool. Big shout out to Little Mouse for initiating the process Kiss.

The inauguration match is between Mumbai and Chennai, what are your picks Cheesy. Top teams of the tournament and i am going with Mumbai for the first match.
2815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why mixers? on: September 17, 2020, 08:07:55 PM
I was thinking as you mate, why mixers still legal?
The exchanges have to send the bitcoin back if they come from a hack but why no one says the same for Mixers? Those are money laundering machines and no gov is interested in stopping them.
Maybe governments are ignorant and they don't know a tool like this exists. That's why they are not getting banned yet. But they will not live forever.
Hope you missed the news about BestMixer.io where the authorities raided them and arrested the owners claiming that they helped launder hacked BTCitcoins and on hearing the news another mixer bitblender ceased their operation and the owner went missing owing customers their coins.

But if mixers are used 90% for illegal purposes you have to see the thing a little more ethically no matter how much you like privacy.
Don't you think that you are contradicting here, which data and analysis gives you the value that 90% of the coins mixed are for illegal purposes. There is only a few trusted mixers in the market and if anyone has to come up with a data like this they need to crack their mixing techniques, i have not seen anyone breaking any mixers in recent times, i have seen mixers getting busted in the past because they lack good mixing techniques and people were able to determine the output mixed coins and those mixers are dead and dusted.

If you are talking ethics, everyone has their rights to privacy and i would like to hide the destination of my coins from exchanges or gambling sites but that does not mean i am doing anything illegal, it is my rights to my privacy ethically and morally and if anyone has to see my destination they need to provide a court document implicating me.

Despite all this, if there are legal implications from using mixed coins, i might distance myself from doing so as i do not have the time to fight the legal battle to prove every time that i am not doing anything illegal and not because of ethics or morality.
2816  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: September 17, 2020, 09:52:07 AM
When your team sponsored Watford FC it was a breakthrough deal and now you got a deal with Arsenal FC for three seasons and you still sponsor Southampton FC and Flamengo, i wonder how many millions you are spending for these deals and i expect the deal for Arsenal FC could be around $100 millions and the team is going strong adding new clubs. What is the total advertisement reserves the team have, just asking out of curiosity Wink.
2817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India looking to Re-ban Bitcoin on: September 16, 2020, 08:48:22 PM
Looks like is India is going full circle and trying to ban Bitcoin  again after the supreme court over ruled the previous ruling by central bank of india in March.
They also seem to be taking the blockchain good bitcoin bad argument. Some governments just don't know when to stop.
The news of banning the entire market is coming up again and again, there is no official announcement regarding this but some newspaper published a news regarding insider information it seems from the authorities that they are planning to implement a ban, i wont be surprised that the Modi lead government will come up with these ban because they have no idea how to run a country and how to main the economic growth and with all the blunders they did that damaged the economic that went to negative GDP and there is nothing to be surprised if they kill another upcoming market.

Im guessing they will be another battle in the supreme court which will carry on for another 2-3 years ridiculous.
Companies who invested money will fight the legal battle but it will take years to get a resolution.

First ball duck for Jason Roy and Joe Root but Jonny Bairstow who was dismissed for a duck is approaching his century, if not for his innings England would have struggled and the fifth wicket is frustrating the Australian bowlers as they are building a good partnership and if they are able to pick one more wicket then Australia could hope on winning the match. Australia have a long batting line up but we have seen them struggle chasing scores in recent times.
2820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance sued for money laundering over stolen bitcoin. on: September 15, 2020, 03:21:57 PM
So they actually did take advantage of the 2 BTC limit..

Correct me if I'm wrong, but assuming that the 1,451 BTC came from one wallet address, I was expecting better security measures from Binance knowing that it's one of the biggest cryptocurrency exchanges we have atm. You'd expect such move from the hackers would automatically raise huge red flags on Binance's side.
That is what they are claiming, the hackers made 7000 transactions amounting to 1,451BTC and created 7000 accounts in binance and got away with it and they even informed the binance team about the money laundering taking place and they never took any action nor they did respond to the request of holding the funds. The ever vocal CZ is silent in these situation and i wont be surprised if the binance team will be in trouble in helping them launder the money.
