Everyone should bow down to Lord Tewatia, he can do anything on his day. No one even expecting that they could win the game after losing Stokes-Buttler-Smith-Samon but Tewatia has other plans as he's one true demi god who could %$k up all your calculation anytime Grin

Rajasthan had lost all four of their last matches, and no one really expected them to win after losing the 5th wicket. A lot was expected him from Ben Stokes, but he departed too soon. Samson was the last hope, but he became the 5th wicket to fall. The SRH bowlers were doing exceptionally well until then, and no one really thought they would go for so many runs. After the 15th over, 65 runs were needed, at 13 runs per over. But as you said, nothing is impossible for Lord Tewatia.
2802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: October 11, 2020, 01:38:25 PM
I could not agree with you because the Indian team still has world class bowlers.  Some bowlers have been injured after playing cricket for some time and this is the reason why there is a shortage of bowlers in the Indian team from time to time.  Do you think Zaheer Khan is not a world class bowler?  Irfan Pathan was not a world class bowler?  Harbhajan Singh Anil Kumble Aren't they world class bowlers?  And now Jaspreet Bhomra, Bhubaneswar Kumar, they are definitely world class players.  With Jubendra Chahal Kuldeep Yadav they are there.

I would definitely say that the current situation is much better than what we had 10-20 years ago. Now even if one or two of the bowlers are injured, plenty of replacements are available. Previously that was not the case. There were quality replacements available for the batsmen, but there was not enough depth available in the pace bowling department. Check India's performance when Zaheer was out injured.
2803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 11, 2020, 01:32:18 PM
^^^ I had previously posted about it. The fans are no longer interested in test cricket. And yet the majority of the international cricketing calendar is being devoted to test matches. On average, a team plays 50 to 60 days of test cricket per year, while they play only 25-30 days of ODI cricket and less than 15 days of T20 cricket. And this is one of the reasons why cricket fans are deserting international matches and flocking to franchise T20 leagues.
2804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Dash undervalued? on: October 11, 2020, 01:23:08 PM
I think Dash coin should just make a huge development to be patronize and have a better number of investors once again if they wanted to regain what has been lose to their reputation as one of the top ranked altcoin. I know that Dash is really a good altcoin to invest with also I just don't think that is undervalued but instead under-develop as of the moment.

There was a time when Dash was being regarded as the best PoS coin available at the market. So a lot of people invested in it. But when the prices crashed in 2018, many of them ended up with huge losses. The other altcoins made their recovery in 2019 and 2020, but Dash didn't went up as much as these coins. Another factor was the closing of BTC-e/Wex.nz. It was a major market for Dash.
2805  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela Planning New 100,000-Bolivar Bills Worth Just $0.23 on: October 11, 2020, 01:17:07 PM
Seems to me digital currency would be easier to manipulate. No need to print all that money when you can just expand the monetary base by typing extra zeros in the central bank's account and pushing that money into the economy. I think the reason Venezuela needs so much paper money is not because they're corrupt but because they're not technologically advanced to have a digital economy.

Centralized digital currencies are easier to manipulate. But there will be few takers for such currencies, since they are similar to the digital version of fiat cash. It is not possible to manipulate decentralized cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, and I don't think that the Venezuelan regime would be interested in such currencies. For now they are somewhat tolerating it, for well known reasons.
2806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 18% XRP Price Drop ! ~ Moon or Bust? on: October 11, 2020, 01:11:55 PM
XRP is an extremely risky crypto-asset. It is highly risky because of its centralized nature. The vast majority of the total supply is not in free-float. If any of the promoters want to dump his holding, then it can destroy the exchange rates. Ever since I entered the world of cryptocurrency, I have stayed away from this coin. There are far better cryptocurrencies out there to invest.
This is actually something to look at on this coin. What if one of the owners decided to leave and sell his share? This scenario is very possible to happen. I like how cheap XRP transaction fee is and how fast it is. But it is the team managing this is quite the scare from crypto users. Because it is centralized, you'll never know what will happen to their coin once there's a change with their management.

Well.. the promoters can't sell their share in one go. There is not enough liquidity in the market to do that. If you check the daily trade volume of XRP, then you can find the numbers are lower than that of many of the altcoins outside the top-10 list. The promoters may be dumping their holdings, but they are doing it very slowly and using multiple exchanges.
2807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: October 11, 2020, 01:05:19 PM
I think even if let's say this is a title fight, there's still no risk on Manny as no way Conor McGregor can win against the legendary boxer.

If the outcome was so certain, then what is the need for the fight? We could just declare Manny as the winner and award him the prize money. It is quite irritating to see some of the posts in this thread. I agree with most of the points, such as McGregor is more used to MMA and he lost his last boxing fight to Mayweather. But that doesn't mean that he doesn't have any chance to win this fight.
2808  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID19 VACCINE AND ECONOMIC GROWTH? on: October 11, 2020, 12:59:28 PM
Experts have said vaccines were likely to reach the general public in the March April 2021 drugmakers have been more ambitious with their calculations, with some firms like Moderna Inc eyeing the emergency use authorisation route to launch their shots by year end.182 vaccine candidates in pre-clinical or clinical trials across the world.36 are in clinical trials and nine in final states of human trial.best part is Some Country Covid 19 Recovery Rate Growth Like India Recovery Rate approx 80% and deat ratio 1% this good news.

By March-April 2021, almost a dozen different vaccines will be available in the market. It is going to be tricky for the governments, as they need to chose one out of this large number of potential candidates. The cost is also not uniform. For example, the price of a single dose of vaccine from the Serum Institute of India is less than $3. On the other hand, the vaccine from Moderna reportedly has a price tag of $37 per dose.
2809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Now Bounty Program totally worth less !! 90% Bounties are scam on: October 11, 2020, 12:49:06 PM
In my opinion, it's not 90% bounty campaign scams, but 99% scams. Because in fact, since 2019 there have been very few bounty
projects that have given decent rewards. In fact, there are many bounty projects that have not paid bounty hunters until now. What
I often experience, the rewards I got from bounty projects have been distributed, but locked on their website until the hard cap is reached.
Even though it is not clear when the hard cap will be achieved, the problem is that the project developer does not inform this in advance.
So many bounty hunters feel fooled because of that.

First of all, the ICO market is not in good shape now. Very few of the projects are able to reach the soft-cap level. For the investors, this is not an issue. Because they get reimbursed of their capital. But the story is different for the bounty hunters. They spent a lot of time and effort in promoting these projects, and if they fail then they go unrewarded. This is why a proposal was made earlier to pay a certain part of the reward in ETH or BTC. But the promoters and campaign managers refused to abide by the proposal.
2810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US 2020 Elections data, polls and bets on: October 11, 2020, 12:43:07 PM
Yes, thanks I saw there is a thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=645747.0) for their service since 2014 (definitely a long time in the bitcoin betting business). If we go by the definition of legit I don't know how legit they are  Smiley but it surely is a functioning betting platform. I saw they have many US Elections related bets and the stakes are quite high hence it could be considered safe to bet there.

I checked their website, and their thread here. I couldn't find any red flags. But I would like to say one thing. They are running from 2014, but that doesn't mean that the same set of owners were in charge for the entire duration. In the cryptocurrency sector, a lot of times successful businesses change hands. And in some cases, the new owners may not be as competitive as the old ones.
2811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: usdt tether market cap grows from 4,6 billions to 10,800 billions from March on: October 11, 2020, 12:37:25 PM
Now the USDT market cap has increased to $15.7 billion. Given the volatility of Bitcoin and the other altcoins, it will continue to increase. But I don't think that this is sustainable. Tether is not doing any independent third party audit of its assets and there is a very real chance that the Tether team is misusing the backup funds for their own benefit (which they are already accused of).
2812  Economy / Economics / Re: Will African countries be developed? on: October 11, 2020, 12:31:26 PM
But the population in the African countries is not out of control by any means and to control the population it is the government who has to take actions actually like China made a few rules if my knowledge serves me right they have a policy if you have more than a single child you won't get a job from the government and so on which is a good way to stop the reproduction rate.

I believe the lack of education is a big factor in the current poor situation of the African countries because they had resources and should be a rich nation but due to lack of tourism, education and vision they are suffering with almost starvation now.

Look at this table:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_sovereign_states_and_dependencies_by_total_fertility_rate

Many of the African nations are having fertility rates above 5 children per women. And you still believe that the population is not out of control? Take the case of Nigeria. Back in 1950, they had a population of 38 million. The current figure is 206 million. And by the end of this century, the population is projected to hit 800 million. Already there is a lot of armed conflict for the control of pastures and farmland. The increase in population is going to make this worse.
2813  Economy / Economics / Re: Rise in US unemployment. Thoughts? on: October 11, 2020, 12:25:07 PM
It's all brief everything becomes fine it's incident in my nation as well.
A lot of businesses are getting terminated because of the COVID and many people lost their jobs.
Let this infection get vanish then we'll perceive how soon life becomes too ordinary.

Apart from certain sectors of the economy such as aviation and tourism, the other businesses have resumed operation. Vaccines may not be available in industrial scale for another 6 to 9 months. I don't think that it is logical to shut down the economy for another 6-7 months. We need to get on with our normal routine, while taking the necessary precautions. So we can't wait until "the infection gets vanished".
2814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 11, 2020, 12:19:06 PM
I went with the KKR as a winner this season, It looked bad choice at the initial stage but odds were juicy so put up some amount on them. And their team is not that bad especially middle order, only concern is Russell and Narine still not performing with the bat.

KKR is not a bad choice and their team balance is also not that bad. But for me, DC and MI ranks above them. I have a feeling that the KKR bowling is still not up to the mark. Cummins is not taking the wickets (although he is not bowling that bad), and the young pair of Mavi-Nagarkoti is not being consistent. Their batting is OK, but I am not happy with their bowling performance so far.
2815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally!! McAfee is arrested in Spain and now facing extradition on: October 11, 2020, 12:14:01 PM
I would be really glad if this loser is extradited to the United States. He ruined so many lives, and caused hundreds of millions of USD in losses to the cryptocurrency users, by promoting scam ICOs. He continued to promote them even after knowing that these projects were scams. Those who invested in these projects after listening to him lost their hard earned savings. I hope he will spend the rest of his life behind bars.
2816  Economy / Economics / Re: Does China plan to go communist? on: October 11, 2020, 12:07:18 PM
When Deng Xiaoping masterminded China's transition to a market economy through an economic reform program by opening the door as widely as possible to foreign investors and making Special Economic Zones, it was already at odds with or deviating from the ideas of communism coined by Karl Marx and Engels.

The economic system run by Deng Xiaoping, which allowed for capitalist-style incentives at home, was not concentrated on political ideology so that economic maneuvers were more effective, but the supremacy of the Chinese communist party remained in priority. Deng also struck a deal with Reagan on democracy in China within 40 years that was crushed by Xi which ultimately sparked a trade war between America and China.

I don't think that Xi Jinping's policies are drastically different from that of Deng Xiaoping. The only difference now is that the Americans no longer tolerate below-the-belt tactics from China, such as commodity dumping and currency manipulation. The difference not between Deng Xiaoping and Xi Jinping. The real difference is between Donald Trump, and the American presidents before him who used to tolerate China.
2817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: October 11, 2020, 12:01:10 PM
Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Rajasthan Royals
Is this the time for RR to come back after 4 consecutive loss?

This can be the life-changing moment for Rajasthan Royals. Middle order was their sole issue. They have very strong top order (Samson, Smith, Buttler.etc) and good pace bowling lineup (Archer, Tyagi.etc). The addition of Stokes transform Rajasthan Royals to one of the most perfectly balanced teams in this IPL. On top of that, his addition to the team should lift the morale as well.
2818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 10, 2020, 05:54:17 PM
Really disappointing performance again by Chennai Super Kings. CSK don't deserve to win. No replacement of Suresh Raina who left the team just before the tournament and didn't come back. Now sit and watch CSK getting thrown out of this tournament.

From what I heard, Raina was willing to return. But then he had a spat with Srinivasan and decided against it. CSK is missing Raina (and probably Harbhajan as well), while KXIP is missing Chris Gayle. A lot of matches are remaining, but I don't think that these two teams are going to reach the play-off stage. For me, DC and MI looks like the favorites to win this year's edition.
2819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: October 10, 2020, 05:50:26 PM
^^ So far their tactics are worst in this season, 7 games and they are still figuring out their playing XI. They literally threw away 3 games from very dominating situation so they surely deserve to kicked out from the tournament. Punjab cant rely on openers too much, unfortunately both rahul- Mayank not finishing game as well.

They need a change in captaincy perhaps. Rahul is not exactly captain material. I don't understand the logic of including so many inexperienced players in the playing XI, when they don't have a slot for Chris Gayle. I am not against including rookies, but that should not be at the expense of more talented players. And also, I don't know for how long they are going to stick with Glenn Maxwell.
2820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: October 09, 2020, 12:13:18 PM
Today almost all till now picking Delhi it seems like 80% predicting its win and wish Delhi only wins  Smiley

A few have selected Rajasthan Royals. Delhi Capitals have 4 wins from 5 matches, but RR is no walkover. They have very good players such as Steven Smith, Sanju Samson and Jofra Archer. And also, Kartik Tyagi performed really well during their last match. The advantage is with DC, but RR is going to give them a tough challenge. Unfortunately for RR, Ben Stokes is still unavailable.
