I've been trying to develop some kind of model for the celestial objects:
The Sun and Moon appear to be flat disks; doped diamond lenses that step down radiation from the dome and project it as light. The image you see on the Moon's surface is probably the surface of the dome, hence its concave appearance.
Once you get all this theory set in place, then you can try to prove it. It took years to prove round earth. You are going to have a lot to do to prove flat earth in face of the round-earth proofs that exist. At the moment, what you have is a philosophy, a dream, a hope, maybe a religion.  |

So I see 2 threads of why islam hates people or why people hate Islam. I dont see the point of such a mundane debate based on religion any debate for or against religion would be stupid. Either you are stupid to believe what a prophet / god / divine entity said or you are stupid enough to believe you can change the minds of the bleak minded people who follow such a prophet / god / divine entity.
But since its fun let me initiate my own brand of 'why do' topic.
WHY DO ATHEISTS (like me) HATE RELIGION ?
Seriously what has to happen in a person's life for them to seriously give up hope on the one true everlasting brand (of religion) which their ancestors have followed for generations.
Everyone has their own story even I have mine, so lets hear some of it.
Why do Atheists hate Religion it because they don't believe in anything they are just reading scientist books or etchetera and they have a problem with their lives for sure , they also believe in science that science created everything if you are going to read the article you gonna believe it for sure too. You seem to be saying that people hate religion, because science doesn't prove much to them, but rather must be accepted by faith, just like any other religion. But the people want something that is factual, something that they KNOW rather than something that they need to have faith in. So they hate religion, even their religion of science, because much of science has to be taken on faith. |

When you combine the scientific laws of cause and effect, complex universe, and universal entropy, you find that something made this universe that matches the definition of "God" in the dictionaries. but that doesn't mean that it's a christian god. What if it turned out you've been following the wrong religion the whole time and you're doomed to eternity in hell because of it? "We all worship gods that we can't even see but we're destroying the nature that's all around us". Stop being so ignorant, even tho that's the main characteristic of most religious people. What would a person have to understand about God or a particular religion to determine that the religion in question was the right one? When you study the Christian religion in depth, and see the power and sense behind it, you might have an idea that Christianity is the best religion. Then when you sincerely ask God to reveal best one to you the, and He overwhelms your spirit with His Spirit, through the Christian religion, you almost don't have any choice. Check the details about Christianity - where it came from, the unity of the Bible, the history of the nation of Israel, the prophecies in the Bible and their fulfillment, the sense of the Bible, how the Bible fits the facts and philosophies of life, the miracles through all of time, the eye witness reports, how the Holy Spirit moves you when you do the in-depth study - and you will see that Christianity is the religion of God. Can you see God in other things? Of course. The fact of the love of God is shown all over the place in the fact that He provides you with all the things of life that you need to live, and enjoyment as well, even though there are times of pain. Christianity answers the questions you have about God way better than any other religion... including the question of which religion God wants you to follow. All the religions operate through faith. Even living life without a formal religion involves faith, because you don't know from one minute to the next, for a fact what will happen. So, life is lived on faith, just like following a religion is following it by faith. Why do we live by faith? Because we are so mentally weak that our knowledge of the universe is incapable of seeing enough to know things for an absolute fact. Yet God holds nature to follow many of our more general predictions in life, so we can live in reasonable peace of mind about all the things that haven't happened yet. |

I didn't vote because I don't agree with either option. From the top layers of my logical mind (I don't have to go very deep since it's not necessary) I can tell the person being polled spend a heck of a lot of time on Bitcointalk. As I'm typing I count 12818 posts in close to 3 years. Also I did a quick random scan of the posts and they are high quality posts, well thought through. BADecker has all the time in the world to post on this forum. From my scan I can see this person has a burning passion for the cause of crypto with a love of religious topics which gradually came to the fore as time progressed from 3 years ago. This person is not an idiot, but is a bit stubborn in (religious) conviction. This however, is the mark of a truly and sincerely committed person to his faith - an unfaltering conviction.

I don't think its a mystery at all. 9/11 was a terrorist act, period. With such huge events filled with un-answered questions and little reason behind them, there will always be conspiracies. Its what people naturally do when in search for answers, so they seek a desperate and illogical solution for closure.
Yeah i agree . 9/11 attack terrorist did those acts! no one else . no alien attact, pentagon or other activist . They just saying that theory then it make the people confuse because of that!! Or consider the artist painting a picture. When it is done, the artist rests from continuing to paint the painting. Most plants easily live for a day without sunlight. In perfection (which nobody has a clue as to how extremely healthy things were) they easily live that long. I am glad you are trying so hard to convince yourself that God exists. Intelligent Parents are Refusing Vaccinations Live Science is reporting that more parents are refusing to vaccinate their children now than a decade ago because they simply do not see a need for vaccination. There is no mistake about it. Vaccines do reduce natural immunity and can clobber the immune system causing death or many chronic diseases. Buttram wrote years ago about a little-noted letter-to-the-editor in the New England Journal of Medicine, in 1984, about an interesting German study. In the study, a significant though a temporary drop of T-helper lymphocytes was found in 11 healthy adults following routine tetanus booster vaccinations. "Special concern rests in the fact that, in 4 of the subjects, the T-helper lymphocytes fell to levels seen in active AIDS patients. The implications of this study are enormous. In regards to this German study, if this was the result of a single vaccine in healthy adults, it is sobering to think of the possible consequences of multiple vaccines (18 vaccines within the first six months of life at latest count) given to infants with their immature and vulnerable immune systems," wrote Buttram. The New England Journal of Medicine study showed that tetanus vaccines cause T-cell ratios to drop below normal, with the greatest decrease after two weeks. Though the altered ratios were found to be similar to those found in AIDS victims the important information from this study has never seen the light of day. FBI Discovers 30 Bengahazi Emails -- All Deleted by Clinton Thirty such emails are now in question, as the former secretary of state's claims she handed over all work-related emails for an investigation wears thinner by the day.

The reality that any religious book "is", has been socially constructed. See social constructionism to better understand the nature of these things. Certainly the minds of people construe the construction to be this or that. The point is what God says. There is a special spiritual ringing when you finally believe the Bible, one that you won't get from any other religious book. You know it is true, because your spirit recognizes the truth of it... when you believe. |
