2821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin can not become a global currency on: January 02, 2020, 05:28:46 PM
Hi, Gents,

I think there has to be a way to create a tracking system for bitcoin. Every wallet must contain ids. Otherwise, bitcoin can be always used for money laundering. If you want to launder money, you can find a cash seller everywhere. After bitcoin is bought, noone can prove whose bitcoin it is. I think this is the only think that preventing bitcoin to become a global currency. Do you think it would worth this much if it is trackable. I dont think so. There will be altcoins that work with tracking system and ids. They will become a global currency. Bitcoin? I think never. What do you think?
It doesn't necessarily have to become a global currency per se, since as long as borders and countries exist, their respective governments will put up their own currencies, fortifying the ones that are existing if ever, nonetheless, with the current widespread state of bitcoin we can almost say that it is a global currency since anyone who has internet can get a hold of this and some other cryptocurrencies. In the case of having it become a global currency there are much more complicated matters that would need to be settled first before higher-ups consider setting up a global currency.
2822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we can introduce bitcoin to local people on: January 02, 2020, 03:55:11 PM
One day, I think to myself about how to spreads bitcoin to other people. After I create threads https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5191717.0, I see many of us don't try or don't have time to come into a gathering or make a meetup. So how we can introduce bitcoin to local people in our country if we are not trying to tells them about bitcoin? I know that will related to the regulations in every countries but we can introduce to our close friend so they will spread it into their closest friends too.

And if this is succeed, I think cryptocurrency will grow step by step. I know we can spread bitcoin online, but that doesn't mean all people in your country are aware of bitcoin. How they can know bitcoin if they never use the internet to search the news while we can tell them about bitcoin and another coin by offline.
one thing I could suggest in order to spread information to the general public of bitcoin is to set up large scale meetings, like those talk events they at TED talk in order to effectively amass people while ensuring that information regarding bitcoin is scattered. Another thing we could do is to create vlogs/blogs on social networking as social media proves to be one of the best mediums of information at this day and age
2823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would a Crypto Based Economy Make Things Safer? on: January 02, 2020, 03:02:57 PM
Well as everything goes cryptocurrencies have their own ups and downs, that being said it is much more theft-proof than regular fiat money but it's unpredictability could be a double-edged blade for anyone who owns cryptocurrencies. Moreso, the fact that it's intangible could be both a good and a bad thing since neither the owner or the potential thief could easily take hold of their specific money.
2824  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat currencies on: January 02, 2020, 02:06:09 PM
Dollar is eventually gonna be replaced by Yuan (chinese currency).

Right now the better yielding fiat currency then Euro, Yen and others is Dollar. It's because of interest rates, which are currently at 1.5% - 1.75%. If you compare for example with Europe, they have negative interest rates. That means that you are punished for storing money in your bank account.

So the capital now flows into USA. That means Dow Jones will keep hitting record highs.

However the shift will come and capital will be redirected to China which will become economical powerhouse of the world. It should happen in 10, maybe 15 years, no one knows the exact date of course. But it will happen  Undecided
The growth rate of China in comparison to America is very big. Already more and more investments were getting moved towards China from America. Weakening of USA is based on the economic policies that were framed by the present ruling government. Maybe when the change takes place with the government once again USD might gain more strength for a bigger push to lead the market.
How cruel seeing america in fight with China. The effect of the ongoing trade war has seen some negative effects on america on which the power of USD has been lessen, businesses from america whose goods and products are mainly coming from China is in trouble also. China estate is not the same as it is on early 2000s and America's president, Trump, should know that.
2825  Economy / Economics / Re: Halving is approacing: HOLD YOUR BITCOINS AND NEVER SELL THEM on: January 02, 2020, 01:30:36 PM
To be honest, do not hold your bitcoins just because there is a hype or a positive speculation because of the halving that is approaching. Hold your bitcoin because you are seeing a good reasons and you are seeing good technical from the chart. Halving was a good event for bitcoin based on the past but we cannot see the future and we should not risk it all.
Why not, not to hold? I mean there already occurred bitcoin halving in the past on which it greatly affected the price of bitcoin, halving performed the pump 3 times a row so there is more probability that it will going to happen again. And with the price of bitcoin longing for such a short price point, buying is good for now and holding is the best option since the halving is near.
2826  Economy / Speculation / Re: What’s your expectation on 2020 Halving year?! on: January 01, 2020, 05:32:15 PM
Right now bitcoin halving is the only thing being discussed in the crypto community as it’s the only event that can bring bitcoin price revolution. Chances are rear that we see any price change immediately with coin halving. AFAIK it will result in higher transaction fee as less no of coins are generated every block.
The every 4 years event is the most awaited thing to happen this year, obviously because most of us wants to see bitcoin price above $10K again. Do you guys think thatbthe upcoming halving will still affect the price of bitcoin? Does the dominance of bitcoin plus the halving will surely bring the spice up? 2016 market is very different from now which I think can be the factor too. Hence I will hold more bitcoin than altcoin this year.
2827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's up with XRP now? on: January 01, 2020, 04:07:23 PM
I think now it makes sense to buy a little bit of ripple. in spite of the fact that this coin is not interesting to anyone as a technology, it will always remain very manipulative until it will die completely and I think that in 2020 we will see several price pumps of this coin and those people who buy it now will be able to make good money
But the manipulation from people behind XRP makes it uninteresting for its supporter. I see the XRP as the face of altcoins, if it's not alts season then its not the time for XRP to get pump but when it does it will do. I still believe that there is huge population that supports the XRP no matter how low it will be, they are still waiting for it to increase its value even they are getting long time decrease.
2828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is your new year Resolution? on: January 01, 2020, 02:09:05 PM
Happy New Year in Advance!

In my view, This year was average for the crypto market, and at the same time, it was great if we consider 2018, the year of the longest bear run. This year, the Bitcoin price went nearly 14K USD! Sometimes we did a mistake by selling a good coin, sometimes we mistook by holding a shit coin! Many people get scammed, wallet hack!

So, now 2019 is ended, what is your new year resolution guys? What changes everyone should follow in 2020?

Leave your opinions!
Everyone should not expect altseason anymore. At this point, I'm not sure altseason will be back even if Bitcoin make new ATH. Despite the bear trend, Bitcoin dominance is almost at its highest. What y'all should do is just stack those satoshis and forget alts. Prepare for the next halving. A lot of people thought it will fuel the next bull run, but it also could not have any impact on price. Prepare for both scenario according to your risk appetite.
Bitcoin dominance is at almost 70%, I'm pretty sure alts will just going to be dormant this year especially to those who did not make it to the top for it atleast can be seen by the people. I must agree that if you guys really want to make the most out of bitcoin you can just stack your bitcoin in preparation for the halving although the price increase in halving is just a pure speculation that is going to be hype when it comes near.
2829  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So I created a Trading bot and it's doing 8% a month on: January 01, 2020, 01:25:32 PM
Oh no, I wouldn't dare to deposit $50 to that. I will not take the risk with my own money and will cry at the end. To be honest, trading bots aren't profitable as they are promoting it. The OP stated % profits which I highly doubt.

However, if you want to know some trusted trading bots. Try to read this article as it stated some feedbacks, backgrounds of each best trading bot that have mentioned in the article.
I have nothing against the OP, it is good to see people developing a software especially when it contains something useful for the crypto and traders actually $20 is quite lower compare to others that has a monthly billing. What I am doubtful about is the $50 minimum initial take with bot and the claim that it is gaining 8% a month, most probably that is just a series of good trade for 8% every month so that does not count.
2830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright claims , today will be the last day for Bitcoins. on: January 01, 2020, 12:05:58 PM
Do we really need a new topic on this convicted criminal and scammer every day?
He keep insulting bitcoin when he, himself proclaims that he is the creator of bitcoin lmao. Let's call this 'Craigs Thing', he is clever enough spreading some sh*t about bitcoin, if you guys know his case against Kleiman, he is trying to somehow manipulate the bitcoin in order for its price to go down because he is going to settle with Kleiman in a huge bitcoin value so if the value of bitcoin is lower than today he is going to spend more less.
2831  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with planning on: December 31, 2019, 11:19:06 AM
Of course, there should be a plan, and not only a plan. You should also have research when you are in trading. Those technical and fundamental and any kind of analysis you must be applied. Trading is not a simple job and this not a trial and error, you should make sure that in every move you have is accurate and will gain profit. Trading with planning is very appropriate stuff.
If it is a long term planning then it will be a total mess. Market is uncertain and so the prices do, making plans on trading for long term would just be an idea of ignorant. Don't make plans as if you can control the market, plan with the amount, timing of trade and particular coin to trade. That is why we have technical side of trading, for us to know what could happen next I think that is better than formulating a plan, just make a TA instead.
2832  Economy / Economics / Re: You want to get rich, don’t pay taxes, don’t get married, don’t use bank, and... on: December 30, 2019, 05:57:08 PM
In my own opinion, it is possible for you to get rich ,even you get married, pay taxes, use banks.

Haha the OP hates the reality really.

As long, you are determined and motivated to work hard for you to reach your goals and dreams, you can really get rich. Getting married, paying taxes, and using banks are not hindrances for to get rich, it depends on you how will you really get rich.
Paying taxes, getting married and using banks is inevitable for us that is being governed by the rule of the state. Paying taxes enable us to live safely and secured in our society, getting married depends on the person and using a bank is an optional for everyone and is not mandated by the state, all of these things does not have any corelation with getting rich and wealthy what matters on that aspect is how well the person works as a human in this world full of opportunity.
2833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price in 2020. on: December 30, 2019, 04:34:23 PM
ethereum prices will certainly continue to change and we must be prepared for any conditions, I can only hope that ethereum will have a good price in 2020 because right now I'm also still holding some
This is what I hope in Eth that price will increase next year. Since the market for eth has down for long now. So hopefully by year 2020 more surprise awaits in this coin.
Almost all of people have expected the next update will bring ethereum to the bulltrend again. But we don't know about that as that still remain un-answered. based on the demand and capitalization and the demand for ethere is so high consider if it's a major coin but for the adoption that becomes less as so many smartcontract platform these days.
But still ethereum smart contracts remains on top. The changes from updated version is yet to come, I see no gains on ethereum price for quite a long time maybe because it awaits the bitcoin too or bitcoin needs to push it. I predict that the ethereum will reach its ath again or even higher not because that it is upgraded and whatnot but bitcoin halving will put a lot of pressure down to make it rise. I think 2020 will give us some good good time with the whole market.
2834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing is wrong with altcoins on: December 30, 2019, 03:57:50 PM
Nothing is absolutely wrong with Altcoin aside market fail and many fake Altcoins out there, so once bitcoin increases there's certainty other good altcoins will increase and despite the market condition, some altcoins are doing better above token sale price.
What's wrong is when you supported an unrealistic coin. There is no relation between bitcoin to any altcoin however it is noticeably obvious that when the bitcoin price pumps the other coin does to, and the other way goes around. But it will still depend on the people since we are decentralized, bitcoin rise and altcoin would still remain or bitcoin won't move and altcoins will, very uncertain things to predict what could be the next event to happen.
2835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Business ideas with 60 Bitcoin? What would you do? on: December 30, 2019, 03:15:36 PM
60 Bitcoin is an enormous amount and potentially enough to build your own business in cryptography. Nonetheless, if you don't have any idea where to get a team, it would hardly create a business. It's easier in this world if you build a trustworthy team that can do the job properly. This place is full of frustration, so if you don't know enough about these things then your 60 BTC might be in vain. To begin with, you need to gather as much information as possible, make a reference plan or roadmap. The best option is just not to restrict our crypto business, you might be able to use the fund to buy stocks on the market.
If I would have that huge amount of BTC I would not build a business from where it came from, there is a huge potential of business in here in cryptocurrencies but with the competition that is giving birth to more and more shit coins and projects gives me chills to the bone. I would convert that up into fiat and work my ass out on a physical business, I'm not really considering to have a business in here.
2836  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question for me and others? on: December 30, 2019, 01:18:50 PM
I think that you don't need to chase merit at this point. You have to do a nice post that will help other users in their complications then people will willingly give merit to your account. Merit is just to mean weldon for helping out and you can keep gathering merit to your account.
He can go and chase for the merits if he really wanted to but he should put all of his effort in putting value and quality to his works. Merits are earned not given, might as well if you really need merit to rank up then you should be always on time in getting news and trends, seeks error in technicalities and be respectful to other's opinion here in the forum. You can't just ask to get merits.
2837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and bitcoin is Not good investment new era Next phase on: December 29, 2019, 05:46:04 PM
so the point what u want to say is crypto is no more than ponzi ?
since u get stuck in the middle of all investment project and u got rekt by it all ?
well , sad to hear that.
but the fact , yes crypto is not investement , but as the time goes , since it have a capped supply , its will like a rare gems.
crypto can be used as an investment place, it's just that many people who abuse crypto to attract investors. but, one thing I'm sure of, that is crypto is definitely better than Ponzi. however, crypto is better depending on its function. if you want to invest in crypto, look for crypto projects that have good concepts, and are far from Ponzi

yes i understand what u saying , but i talking about for now , bitcoin or even another cryptocurrency its not a investement category for now, i mean legit investement.
still have no recognized from goverment about it.
but that , not for long time i guess.
Most people now do really make bitcoin as an investment rather than the currency, you wanna know why? because of the price, thats all. I'm not going to be that clean as a user, I don't use bitcoin as a currency but as a form of investment especially today that the incoming halving will occur in no time less than a half of a year. No need to problematize about the government coz government has nothing to do with it but have external factors to lessen the effect on them.
2838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run is coming! on: December 28, 2019, 08:41:52 PM
If you buy exchange tokens like BNB and ecxx you can profit in bear and bull markets.
ecxx? what coin is this?
BNB is undeniably good coin and flee itself from the bear market and was also even good during the bulls.
But with the other you've mentioned, it's new to me and I think it's one coin you hold right?
BNB is also not a good investment option. In just a short time, the price of BNB has collapsed from $ 40 to $ 14. And it will be even lower in 2020. In 2020, if Binance does not have any positive activities like IEO in 2019, I think BNB price will also lose value. Be careful when investing in it, ETH would be a much better investment option
IEOs in binance are not really getting what they should get, in fact 90% of IEOs in binance has failed. The dump of  BNB is a clear sign of their exchange degrading its value when having IEOs, I mean IEOs are better than iCO but the only difference is the security of investors in not getting scammed yet they can be bankrupted after. I personally agree, instead of BNB why not just ethereum after bitcoin? ETH has seen improvements than any other crypto, as a matter of fact it is better than BTC is many categories.
2839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra coin alive or dead? on: December 28, 2019, 08:00:47 PM
in your place, I would even stop to be interested in technical information about LIBRA, because now everything that they can provide about the technical part of the project will most likely be greatly changed and a completely different thing will be written after a year. due to problems with the US authorities, this project will only do what the government will allow to them.
People are just too curious about the Libra in an instance that they are diving down to its core even without it being released officially. lmao. Other people are too skeptical about it because facebook has been involve in many data breaching situations, but taking about cryptocurrencies I think facebook will do its job delivering a high class of currency which can be useful. I know nothing about its internal when it comes to the intermediaries of facebook to government, I'm pretty sure it will come off great.
2840  Economy / Economics / Re: At which price will loose Bitcoin the dominance in the Crypto Market? on: December 28, 2019, 07:37:34 PM
Bitcoin needs to lose market dominance. Because the price of any other project can not rise. Altcoins can't find a space for themselves. New investors are also investing in bitcoin. New investors now have to choose altcoins instead of Bitcoins. I think Bitcoin dominance will start dropping after $ 128,000.
Bitcoin does not have to do anything especially lose market dominance, if the market was full of great projects and developers ready to make anything to improve the code of bitcoin then you may have a point but since that is not what we have in the market of cryptocurrencies we are stuck with a bitcoin that is extremely dominant and that most likely it will get even more dominant in the future as the average person decides to enter in the market.
Actually we have a lot of great projects but the thing is they are not Bitcoin so people could not care that much about it. Bitcoin founded a very stable reputation for most of the people here who believes on it, there is no reason for people to just jump into another cryptocurrency. And given the fact that bitcoin's price is huge, people are just so eager holding it expecting to get a profit with it. One thing is for sure, bitcoin will not lose its market dominance at least in the next decade, it is bad if it does.
