2821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoiners are not friendly physical? on: February 04, 2023, 05:57:53 PM
Maybe you are looking in the wrong places or the people you asked didn't get a positive vibe from you.
A good place to meet link-minded people is going to a bitcoin/crypto conference. Go to one and talk with people there. They might have come for the same reasons as you. If you have some shops in your area that accept crypto payments, you might meet someone there. Buying and selling P2P and face-to-face is another opportunity to get to know other bitcoiners.
2822  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project: Sewing machine BITCOIN on: February 04, 2023, 05:22:30 PM
Thanks, but I prefer Bitcoin ( no fiat money), because Bitcoin is the idea of absolute freedom!
No argument there. Still, you got to eat, pay your bills, and probably have mouths to feed. Those things can't wait. If you struggle to sell for crypto, you change and use a different strategy. If your goal is to increase your bitcoin stash, you can always buy it with whatever money is left after you have taken care of the essential expenses in life.
2823  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Street Selfie? Why all these crazy requirements in the name of KYC verification? on: February 04, 2023, 05:10:30 PM
No self-respect? If someone is holding a significant amount of money from you, then you are going to do what they say to get it. If the requirement was there without holding the money, no one would do it.
I agree with the first sentence, but not with the second one. It's, of course, unfortunate if this happened to you all of a sudden and you want your money back. But this issue with Cloudbet has been discussed for half a year now. I am sure that many gamblers are still playing there for whatever reasons and are just hoping it won't happen to them instead of taking their business elsewhere. So, the player shouldn't be blamed for having this happen to them out of the blue. They are to blame if they know it can happen but do nothing about it. Leave and never return!

It should be illegal to ask for kyc only when withdrawing. It should be asked before you deposit, so they can't trick you...
Some casinos/sportsbooks operate like that. KYC verification the moment you create your account. At least that way you know where you stand. The problem is, crypto gamblers don't want that. They would rather gamble without KYC as well, and only do it if absolutely necessary. Take a look at the results of the poll or some of the comments in Do You Want KYC at Crypto Casinos During Registration? Because they don't mind, that's what they get. You are welcome to deposit and lose, but if you win and you win often, then we will investigate you.

I am sure if also depends on the regulator and license provider. I doubt that online/crypto casinos licensed by the UK Gambling Commission operate in the grey areas like the Curacao ones. I think The Gambling Commission has mandatory KYC on sign-up.

<Snip>
Your work is beautiful, and you are talented!

I took a look at all of the auctions you posted. On the one hand, everyone can see the talent and hard work invested into the creation. But one the other (and this is the one the buyers and bidders focus on), there is the question of price. Some of the artwork is over $1000, for example. People pay little attention to how difficult something was to create unfortunately. If you can afford it, I would suggest doing auctions with lower starting bids.

Your negative ratings from 2021 don't help you either. Misunderstanding or not, it could have been handled better. Now everyone sees a red flag when they want to do business with you. Have you tried talking with the people who left you those ratings to see if they would consider removing them or changing them to neutral. Maybe you can offer an item you made at a discount to the person who thought they won the auction, and in return they will consider deleting the rating.

Another question: have you tried selling over Ebay or some other online marketplaces that exist where you live for fiat?
2825  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How does Coinbase commerce work? Reason why I want to know inside on: February 04, 2023, 02:24:16 PM
You really should get police and law enforcement involved if you suffered a serious financial loss. Coinbase won't disclose personal information of their clients to anyone who asks, but they are obliged to assist if a crime has been committed. They are surely going to ask to see proof of what happened and they can't just take your word for it.
2826  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Migrate from one ethereum wallet to other using migratoor on: February 04, 2023, 12:32:27 PM
I see how this could be useful, but only if you are lucky enough to discover that someone is in the process of emptying your account. It would also help if you mistakenly connect you wallet where you shouldn't have. Obviously, that other person would have to do it manually one coin at a time. Usually, people wake up to discover their wallets have been emptied. If a service like this is available to help protect your account against hackers, the same fraudsters could also use it to empty your accounts faster. Unless, of, course, they don't have even better bots and automated software.
2827  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: [VELIKA LISTA] Hardverski novčanici (80+) on: February 04, 2023, 12:03:21 PM
Jesi ti prvo pogledao koliko košta taj brendirani custom BC Vault harderski novčanik kad ga već nudiš?
Nudim ga? Nisam gledao koliko košta nit me zanima.

A nekom drugom opet smiješna.

2829  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Bitcoin bankomati i fizičke kripto mjenjačnice u Hrvatskoj... i šire on: February 04, 2023, 11:39:45 AM

Coinomi ovako to radi.
2830  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [List] Bitcoin Payment Processors on: February 04, 2023, 10:30:12 AM
I came across a new payment processor yesterday on Reddit[1]. The developers wrote a plugin for BTCPayServer which basically allows you to accept any cryptocurrency, and automatically convert that to BTC.
I was interested in how good their rates were so I compared them with the offers that BestChange gives. I have to say that BestChange came on top every time. The difference wasn't huge, but still.

I only checked the rates for 3 altcoins: BTC for XMR, BTC for ETH, and BTC for USDT.
What I like about the Trocardor app is that they rate all partner exchanges from best to worse in terms of how likely they are to request KYC. Whether or not it's a reliable piece of info remains to be seen, but it feels good to see it at least.
2831  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are you finding a virtual assistant as a Campaign Manager? on: February 04, 2023, 09:47:16 AM
Your opening post sadly shows no knowledge of the English language. The poll you created is irrelevant.

Yes, sir. I'm skilled in SEO, Digital Marketing, Facebook Ads Campaigns, Instagram Ads Campaigns, WordPress development, eCommerce development, Virtual assistant, Admin panel support, and so on.
Is that your opinion or do you have any examples where these skills are used in practice? Have you optimized any websites for SEO or organized successful marketing campaigns in the past? If not, I am afraid you can't call yourself "skilled". You can add experienced NBA 3-point shooter for all I care, but it doesn't mean you are.
2832  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Street Selfie? Why all these crazy requirements in the name of KYC verification? on: February 04, 2023, 09:33:45 AM
I really don't get why so many people are just okay with anything they ask. What's next, a dick pic in front of a street sign?
No self-respect, that's why. Give the players big bonuses, free spins, the occasional free bet, slightly bigger odds than the competition and they will do anything you want. Many gamblers don't play where it's safer and better for them, but where there are bigger promises and the illusion of taking home 5-10 BTC in bonus money. If Cloudbet noticed a significant drop in activity following this idiotic street-sign requirement, they would have gotten rid of it in record time.
2833  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Any trusted members that accept Wise (Transferwise) or Skrill? on: February 04, 2023, 09:17:30 AM
Just try bisq.network if you insist on privacy. Hodlhodl is also a good option for you.
I have checked both before creating this thread. Wise is not a very popular payment method on Bisq. Last time I checked there were only 2 orders for Wise in EUR and not a single one for USD. Skrill, on the other hand, is not supported at all. The Hodlhodl margins are just ridiculous and not worth it for anyone.

The other way is to find P2P traders in your city/area who exchange their trading profits, BTC/USDT for cash.
Wise and Skrill are not cash on hand. When I have cash on hand, I know where to go with it, same way I know what to do with the crypto.
2834  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: SCAM upozorenja Zbirni topic on: February 04, 2023, 08:40:37 AM

@SirJohnVonSlotty

2837  Local / Off-topic (Hrvatski) / Re: Kutak za kulturni trenutak (filmovi, serije, knjige etc) on: February 04, 2023, 08:00:37 AM

2838  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Any trusted members that accept Wise (Transferwise) or Skrill? on: February 04, 2023, 07:52:11 AM
I am mostly needed skrill if you have then I can help you here, and I don't need escrow for this as well just when you have skrill in your account please send me PM here or post here I will be ready for this exchange but keep one thing in mind I only need skrill and my requirement is mostly around $300 monthly not more than this amount.
Thanks for getting in touch. I will keep that in mind. However, I haven't had the best of experience with Skrill in the past. Back when it was called Moneybookers, I remember that they were very nosy and showed a tendency towards locking accounts and asking questions who the people you send money to are, where the money comes from, what you use their services for? Despite the account being verified, they still freeze it and investigate for a week or two until they finally reinstate everything back to the way it was.

Because of that, my current preference is Wise. Is there something about Wise that you don't like and that's why you don't want it?
2839  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: I found a paper wallet on a beach ... seriously on: February 03, 2023, 08:00:20 PM
How's being quite without moving the money stealing? If somebody owns that money, and does have a backup as well, taking it and hiding it somewhere in your place gives him the opportunity to figure out he lost the paper wallet, and that he must move the funds as soon as possible.
The act itself is not stealing. The intention of what you are going to do later might be. If you want to do the right thing or try to do the right thing, why would you keep quiet about it? The owner maybe only has that one copy. If you remained quiet, how would they ever know that someone found it?

Think of something else instead of a bitcoin paper wallet.
I find a watch on the beach. I take it home with me, put it in my drawer, and decide not to do anything about it. I might not wear the watch, I haven't sold it or exchanged it for something else, but I took possession of it and it's currently in my control.
2840  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bounty BiXBiT on: February 03, 2023, 07:34:53 PM
I can only agree with what digaran mentioned. Additionally, those interested in testing should know how big the bounties are and what they can expect to earn by providing their services. A "generous reward" doesn't mean the same thing in East Asia and in Germany.

Since you are new to Bitcointalk, I would suggest having a trusted member escrow the funds you intend to spend on the bug bounty. You can check Recommended bitcointalk escrow services for a list of some of the escrow agents we have on the forum.
Or create a thread in the services section asking for an escrow to get in touch with you.

One way to at least prove you have the money is signing a message from the bitcoin address from which payments will be made. That isn't proof you will pay, but it shows you have the coins.
