Hey guys have you heard about the Cryptosteel Bitcoin wallet? I think it's the perfect solution if you are searching for a cold storage device to put your main Bitcoin stash on. The whole thing is made of durable metal and you can arrange your private keys with the provided sets of metal letters and numbers. I have seen a video of some guy testing out the durability of it by setting it on fire and throwing it from the top of a building and running over it with a car and still the private keys could be read so it's pretty much indestructible in normal circumstances. I recommend checking it out  Wink
2822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you helping mass adoption ? on: May 30, 2016, 08:37:13 AM
I chose these 3 options: give people some Bitcoin, show business owners how to accept Bitcoin and take people somewhere I can pay the bill in Bitcoin. I think the best way to teach someone about something new is to give them a prime example like a Bitcoin paper wallet so the learners can get their hands on it and learn from experience. Also to promote Bitcoin adoption we have to get the merchants on board to accept Bitcoin so we need to explain to them why they should be interested in Bitcoin. And for the doubters and unbelievers out there we can just invite them to dinner at a nice restaurant and pay the tab with Bitcoin much to their surprise  Cheesy
2823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Games Prediction Thread on: May 30, 2016, 08:25:32 AM
Damn Germany ruined my parlay yesterday. I was torn between taking over 3 goals in the match or picking Germany -1 AH and I ended up picking the latter and so the last leg of my parlay was lost due to Germany playing very disappointingly vs Slovakia. But Germany was missing some first squad players so this loss could be attributed to the out of whack team the manager had put together for the match. These international friendlies are very hard to predict sometimes because either the favorites on paper don't perform as they should or there are few goals in the games  Grin

For today my money is on Sweden vs Slovenia over 2.5 goals. Good luck everyone betting today.
2824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: LUCK!!! :) How does it feels? on: May 30, 2016, 08:03:27 AM
I have a strange theory about luck of the gamblers. I believe that if people stay positive and optimistic about the future even if they have incurred big losses the universe will balance things out and give them a big winner that will wipe the slate clean and make them break even. If we continue to feel down and be very negative throughout our lives nothing good will ever happen to us. This may sound like a crazy talk to a lot of people but I think our feelings have an influence on our luck  Wink

The Bitcoin adoption rate here is not very high and there is a lot to be desired in terms of retailers accepting the crypto coin as a legitimate payment method both online and offline but there are 3rd party solutions like buying voucher codes or gift cards that make spending Bitcoin indirectly possible so I am satisfied at the end of the day because I have done my shopping and I have used Bitcoin even if not directly. I hope in the near future merchants will accept more often direct payments with Bitcoin so I wouldn't need to pay unnecessary conversion fees and so on.
2827  Other / Off-topic / Re: A digital item was sold for $55,000! (CS:GO Skin) on: May 29, 2016, 11:40:54 AM
Well there are people with a lot of money to spend on things they deem to be precious so I wouldn't condemn anyone for this I guess  Grin By the way where was the exchange conducted? Was it on the Steam market or off Steam and how did the buyer pay for that skin? For that much money $55k I would think he had used a bank transfer or something. Now if he had paid for that with Bitcoin it would have been bloody impressive right?  Shocked
2828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future Of Bitcoin Changing The World on: May 29, 2016, 10:34:44 AM
I think yes it can change the world a little bit but i think still the same as now.. maybe in the future we will see hi tech machines in the future that uses bitcoin.. honestly its not the best bitcoin to choose if you are paying in gasoline station cellphones are not allowed.. it may cause explosive..

That's right Bitcoin is still not very convenient when it comes to peer-to-peer transactions when paying sometimes for goods and services in the real world but a very easy way around this is to buy gift cards prior to going shopping in supermarkets or gas stations or restaurants etc. It's a common thing to exchange Bitcoin for gift cards in fiat because not all offline businesses accept Bitcoin as a payment method yet. But hopefully in the future Bitcoin will gain more traction and will become mainstream to the point where people could directly pay with it without the need to convert it to other payment methods. Anyways Bitcoin undoubtedly has the potential to change the financial world.
2829  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: May 29, 2016, 09:37:03 AM
With how the Bitcoin price is going up $20 or so a day more than a month before the halving has even started I am very optimistic about Bitcoin and I think we will break the top record of $1250 early in 2017  Cheesy I expect to see a lot of positive things happening in 2017 for the Bitcoin community like Bitcoin getting more mainstream and more big companies accepting it as an official method of payment and also the increasing price will make it an attractive investment option for high-profile investors bringing even more capital into the Bitcoin market. I believe we are still in the early stages of Bitcoin development and contrary to the naysayers and doubters Bitcoin has a bright future and there are a lot more surprises to come down the road.
2830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to spread the Bitcoin in Social networks? on: May 29, 2016, 09:17:23 AM
I am very active on Twitter and have seen a lot of marketing for different Bitcoin projects on the platform. I don't use Facebook much but I think it's easier to get people involved with Bitcoin on Facebook rather than Twitter because you could create a page explaining what Bitcoin is and what people could do with it pointing out its advantages etc. and then invite your friends to check it out. This could go viral because your friends could send the link to their friends and so on and the word of Bitcoin will spread to more people while Twitter is more geared towards advanced users who already know about Bitcoin and they mostly use Twitter to keep up with the general trends and news.
2831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Games Prediction Thread on: May 29, 2016, 08:56:57 AM
Hey guys are you going to bet on the international friendlies today? There are a lot of games and I honestly have some problems to pick the right matches haha  Cheesy I am liking these games though Portugal - Norway Norway +1 @ 1.95 AH Italy - Scotland Scotland +1 @ 1.6 AH and Spain - Bosnia Bosnia +1.5 @ 1.6 AH. I prefer to go for AH rather than goals today as anything could happen in the friendlies and the teams may not feel like scoring much today so. I am thinking of doing a fun parlay where I will put over 2 goals on all the friendlies just for fun and who knows I might hit something big  Grin
2832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: May 29, 2016, 08:40:29 AM
Damn Atletico Madrid deserved to win the final but they were out of lucky multiple times during the match and Real Madrid managed to capitalize on their opportunities and lifted the trophy. I think should Griezmann had scored that penalty Altetico could have won from behind in the second half of the match because they would have had a bigger momentum than Real Madrid. The funny thing is that I had a feeling Real could win in the extra time or the penalty shootout and the odds were great but I didn't make the bets lol. Well it was certainly a fantastic match and I feel sorry for the Atletico supporters who must have been devastated. I saw so many children crying in the stands it was unreal  Shocked
2833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People mocking of me for using Bitcoin on: May 28, 2016, 12:59:15 PM
People will always mock you for using new stuff they still don't completely understand. I think if you encounter such acquaintances the best way of approaching them is to just ignore them and continue focusing on what you have been doing. This pertains not only to Bitcoin but also for any activity in life you have been doing. People won't always agree with you but you could show them later on when the price of Bitcoin has gone through the roof how wrong they had been. Best route of 'revenge' is success and you will certainly be laughing all the way to the bank cashing out your Bitcoins  Wink
2834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Godly Tips [FREE & PREMIUM] on: May 28, 2016, 12:28:53 PM
Just a quick heads up since you are new here. No one cares about profit, tips and winrate percentages just units won and lost because that's the most accurate statistic which will show if you are a good tipster or not. You should point out how much 1 unit of yours is worth as in 1 unit=1mbtc or 1 unit = 10mbtc etc. As you said you have developed a mathematical system for analyzing the matches it wouldn't be too hard to keep such a statistic right? Also it would be great if you could post your actual bet slip links to the websites where you are wagering at so people could check out your bets and follow you unless you prefer air betting only Wink Welcome to the forum and good luck with your picks.
2835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: May 28, 2016, 09:49:45 AM
Hey guys the most interesting match of the year all over Europe is tonight can you believe this?  Cheesy The final day is here and I can't wait for the match to start. I hope Real and Atletico Madrid will play a fantastic game and put out a great spectacle for all the public on the stadium and all the viewers all over the world. I hope neither team will park the bus tonight as it's very ugly to play defensively in a final at least for me. I am going to put in my bets right now. One is on Real Madrid +0 @ 1.8 and others are on over 1.5 goals and over 2 goals. I expect an open game with plenty of scoring opportunities. Good luck everyone betting tonight and have fun  Cheesy
2836  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will you do if you own 21 BTC? on: May 28, 2016, 08:12:02 AM
I would like to congratulate you on this milestone of accumulating 21 Bitcoins which is no small feat whatsoever. If I were you I would simply continue to keep these coins in a cold storage and wait for the price to increase. I know I may sound like a broken record repeating the same old stuff over and over again, but the truth is that no bank in the world could offer you a better interest rate than the inherent investment value of Bitcoin on its own. Of course Bitcoin is very volatile right now and big swings in price can happen but if you take the risk of holding Bitcoin you might very well get  a much higher reward in the future. If you are in need of fiat you could always convert back and forth but honestly Bitcoin as a store of value can yield the highest profit ever. Just my 2 cents.
2837  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Touched $500 just now on: May 28, 2016, 07:48:25 AM
Wow it has been a hectic week $50 in just 2 days who would have imagined such a turn of events like this  Shocked I think this is probably an early pre-pump but if people continue to buy back into Bitcoin the doubling of the price may not seem like science fiction any more right?  Cheesy If the value stabilizes itself eventually around $500 before the halving it is very likely we could reach as high as $600-$700 in the fall and hopefully $800-$900 in the winter and hit $1000 in January 2017. There have been a lot of naysayers lately speculating how Bitcoin's price has corrected itself already and how people are dumping Bitcoin to buy alt coins which is clearly not true. We are on the right track guys keep holding that Bitcoin stash and don't let it go  Grin

2838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: whether in your country bitcoin already allowed to use? on: May 28, 2016, 07:26:28 AM
In my country Bitcoin hasn't been regulated yet in any way and people use it both as a currency and a store of value. There are businesses accepting payments in Bitcoin mostly online but Localbitcoins sellers can be found and also there are already a few ATM's in different cities. In general Bitcoin is still a gray area when it comes to local laws and such but I haven't seen any adversity towards it by the government so hopefully it will stay that way. Honestly if Bitcoin would become more mainstream by regulation under certain jurisdictions I am all for it as long as this doesn't hurt normal users like me. I would love to see Bitcoin used more in brick and mortar shops around here as well. Anyways Bitcoin is a great technology and it wouldn't make any sense to not be allowed to be utilized by the general population of any country  Wink
2839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: OFFICIAL EURO 2016 Information, Discussion and Tips Thread + 10 BTC FREE PROMO on: May 27, 2016, 08:52:10 PM
There are a lot of good teams participating in Euro 2016 but a few stand out more than the others and for me these favorite teams are Germany, France and Belgium. Germany has a very well rounded team with great players in each position and is a force to be reckoned with in the offense. Germany is my pick for going to the final. France is the host country and they will have the moral support of the public so this will boost their confidence and morale. France has changed football generations and now they have very good young players that can achieve something great on a national level of football. I think France will reach at least the semi-finals. Now Belgium is a very special team because I think they have the most talented young footballers among all the teams in the competition. I watched them play in the World Cup in Brazil and they performed great. I think Belgium can be the dark horse of the tournament and I wouldn't be surprised if they make it to the final or even win the whole thing  Wink
2840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here is our latest post :- Top Three Bitcoin Wallets Of 2016 on: May 27, 2016, 05:56:56 PM
Dude how come the most popular wallets are at the very bottom of that list? I know that Bread wallet is for the iPhone platform and therefore it makes sense to be in the second place as Apple phones are very popular but I haven't heard about Airbitz, Dark wallet, Samourai and Luxstack??? Do these wallets really have better security, privacy and quality than the old and more established wallets like Blockchain.info and Mycelium or Copay? Apparently Luxstack development is based in Tokyo, Japan so I will be checking this out of curiosity. By the way the Samourai wallet is in Alpha stage right now and how the hell did it make it near the top of the list? I think the Open Bitcoin Privacy Project guys are pulling random numbers out of thin air lol  Grin
