I think POS should be added to make this coin a real succes!
No more than 1-2% APY. Otherwise the large holders, which at the current diff includes the majority here, have an incentive to dump the 'free' coins putting selling pressure on the price!

Pulling my hair out since two days to get my rigs working with AIDEN. ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) I don't understand what's going wrong here?? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) I have compiled sgminer 4.0.0, 4.1.153, 4.1.242 from source myself and use this setting for my 280x rigs: "intensity" : "19", "nfactor" : "6", "worksize" : "256", "lookup-gap" : "2", "thread-concurrency" : "24000", "shaders" : "0", "gpu-threads" : "1", "gpu-engine" : "1080", "gpu-fan" : "30-90", "gpu-memclock" : "1500", For sgminer 4.0.0, 4.1.153 all I got is: Shares above targets ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) For sgminer 4.1.242 my GPU get SICK and my rigs crashed. ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) I will very appreciate if someone could enlighten me. Thanks in advance. Regards, No one could help me somehow? I have missed the train since the diff still under 10, and now diff goes up to 90 and I still can't mine. Better look again, the diff is at 120 now!

The problem with MINT is the 20% PoS gives large holders an incentive to dump the 'free' coins, substantially increasing the selling pressure on the price. The opposite of what BC's low inflation and combined mining pool does.

What happened with allcoin.com? It's been down for me.

So...anything happening or was this given up on?
Personally, I'm waiting on the BAH coin (Bitch Ass Hoe).

now nice error on getmininginfo "blocks" : 575931, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 0.01179795, "errors" : "WARNING: Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade.", "generate" : false, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 0, "networkhashps" : 3200323, "pooledtx" : 12, "testnet" : false } That usually means there is a mandatory wallet upgrade out and you are using the old wallet.

The name is quite silly, but people might like it. Nice to see X11 algorithm. It is also different that it features a larger block reward. (Not sure that it is better though...)
I would have gone with 'MellowYellow' myself.

ok.. done some testing... for me only p2pools are working right. no fake share problem. If you don't want to get scammed with share use a p2pool. http://h5c-p2pool.mine-coin.deis working What is the connection address and port? Please write it to the main page:) ./sgminer -k darkcoin -o http://h5c-p2pool.mine-coin.de -u WalletAddress -p Anything also added to page. thanks for the info. Hope to get some more hashes and find blocks again. Ohh, I see. It's working with sgminer, but I tried with minerd at first time.(doesn't work) The difficulty is too low(0.001) so the reject is very high. Please change the settings. You can adjust the share difficulty youself to better suit your hashrate: Fine Tuning:
It is suggested to set a mining difficulty. This can be set by appending a value after your username, to calculate this value use the following formula:
Hash Rate * .0000011641
So if your hash rate is 34000 Kh/sec (34 Mh/sec) and your wallet address was AHT1tq3aDudrxdEmodpQsSfYUkZ2ZVCSW3, you'd want to set it up like so:
(34000 * .0000011641) = 0.0395794
Resulting in...
AHT1tq3aDudrxdEmodpQsSfYUkZ2ZVCSW3+0.0395794

Have minerd 20 minutes(5*E3),no one block. Sometimes the balance will be 500,1000 or 2000,but after 2 minutes,it changes to zero. What's the matter with the wallet? (I have synchroed my wallet)
Many times when the diff is low, blocks will be found by the miner, but will be later unconfirmed. These are orphans and it simply means someone else beat you to the block even though you both solved it. Orphan blocks will either never show up in the wallet or will disappear as soon as they are found to be stale. Mined blocks are confirmed after 6 confirmations and will be added to the available balance after they mature. Think of it like a classroom (miners) given a math puzzle to solve for a prize (block reward). Only the first student (miner) with the correct answer that places it on the teacher's desk (seed) wins the prize. The students that sit in front of the teacher's desk have an advantage over the one's that sit in the back. Even though they both may solve it correctly, the first miner gets all the credit.

Okay guys give me a few to figure out what is going on, the wallet-qt is running fine on my end. Probably because your a graphic designer, NOT a programmer! ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FNKahKo9.jpg&t=663&c=QYAZjVMfXknxdg)

So the 'dev' releases the coin without a working Windows wallet and then goes on to offer the 90% of people that use Windows that they need to figure out the problem and complie their own wallets as a viable solution. All while he insta-mines his own shitcoin at 0.00002 diff! Classic, a new level of shitcoin SCAM. This crap isn't even worth a single latoshi, if it even makes on to an exchange.

The reason for the price decline is simple, Hiro is WAY overvalued as I pointed out earlier. Take a coin like EMC2, which as I originally posted less than a week ago was at 300 and is now on MintPal trading around 900 with 300M coins, half the Hiro total that was trading at twice the 1200 sat it's at now. EMC2 was launched fairly without a huge insta-mine to be dumped and an active community that funds scientific research. A much better cause than lining the pockets of early Hiro adopters just because they were able to accumulate an obscene amount of coins through the artificially low diff.

Seems all of the pools show "Unable to connect to wallet RPC service: Response error or empty:"
Is solo the only way to mine this right now?
Yep, found a couple blocks of 100. Mostly orphans though.
