2821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stable coins take control of Bitcoin as crypto adoption in the future? on: June 20, 2021, 02:10:57 AM
I think a lot of people still don't understand the reasons why so many people enter this cryptcurrency market. When someone enters the cryptocurrency market these people are aiming to make 10X profits, this objective of 10X return is only possible by investing in bitcoin and altcoins,  stablecoins  do not serve as investments, they only serve as a means to trade on exchanges
Stable coins are means to trade on exchange, you are right but they have other meanings as store of asset. I don't say stable coins are safe or safest stores of asset but many people use stable coins to store their capital when they are uncertain about Bitcoin or altcoins.

Quote
That's why I don't see any  stablecoins  controlling bitcoin, it's not possible that this will happen in the future. But we have to admit that  stablecoins are a problem because I think in the future governments will regulate  stablecoins
Stable coins are derivatives from the crypto market. They are created to support crypto market, not to control or replace it.

PSA: Most Stablecoins Can Be Frozen, Even in Your Own Wallets
2822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stable coins take control of Bitcoin as crypto adoption in the future? on: June 19, 2021, 11:26:04 AM
A stablecoin is a cryptocurrency that is backed, added, or backed by an underlying asset. low volatility with stablecoins being the main benefit to continue to attract both individual and institutional interest. Exchange rate stability is useful for both holders and those trying to integrate Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies into the wider financial system.
What makes you think stable coins can take control of Bitcoin ?

Stable coins can not help you richer. I know some few days, you can get profit from stable coins but as investors, it is not the best to invest.
Bitcoin is a speculative asset and can help you to get richer in bull trend. Bitcoin can rise 50% but you can see the same thing with stable coins. If stable coins rise 50%, they are not stable and they won't be called as stable coins.
2823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can the market build an immune system against meddling from influencer like Musk on: June 19, 2021, 10:20:57 AM
Elon or other influencer will gradually lose credibility as long as their tweet/opinion influence the market against the interest of most users. Just like how it happen with McAffee.

That being said, immunity against this kind of manipulation at all times is probably impossible unless traders and crypto investors start ignoring individual sentiment of the market.
They are smart to know when they should do manipulation. If Elon, example, see his tweets don't have too much effect on the market, he will change to become less or no actively tweet about cryptocurrency.

This change will create curiosity in followers and when he tweets again, after months, his tweets will be appreciated again. Who don't want to see Elon Musk tweets? His tweets can be toxic but affect the market and if you see a market is at the end of any triangle, his tweets are funny to support a break out or dump. Very interesting tweets with correlation to market.

I don't like him but I like his tweets as I like Trump's tweets 2 years ago. Trump tweeted, gold price was dumped to negative price. Days later, Trump tweeted again and gold price recovered.
2824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much power does Elon still have over the crypto markets? on: June 18, 2021, 03:41:04 PM
Before Elon enters crypto, he is a popular person with his Tesla and he has a huge fan of Twitter. And he thinks that he can use his popularity to influence the crypto, so he tweets about Dogecoin. His plan worked and made many people panic and buying Dogecoin in the rally of the price. And he did that again with Dogecoin and Bitcoin and boom. People seem not to care about his tweet again and do not like Elon.
Before 2020, Elon Musk tweeted about Dogecoin a few times and his tweets affected Dogecoin demand. Elon tested the market and he saw he can do something big with his twitter. I can't remember his first tweet about Dogecoin but perhaps it was in late 2018 or in 2019.

I don't see it as coincidence. It is test from Elon indeed. He tested and prepared things before he actually entered the manipulation games in 2020.

Quote
But we do not know how big Elon's power still has after this and maybe Elon has something that we do not know. But I hope Elon will not do the worst thing like before because that can make him in trouble.
Elon loves what he does in crypto market and he will not stop. He has love with money so he will not leave the crypto market. When one loves crypto, he can not leave it.
2825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is really the value of Bitcoin? on: June 18, 2021, 03:31:30 PM
Value of Bitcoin is decided by many things that is changeable with time.

Total supply is fixed, unchangeable: at 21 million.
Demand is changeable and can be bigger in future.
Cost to produce new Bitcoin from mining: changeable with time, power cost, ASIC cost and with geo locations.
Fiat currency health: the worse health the fiat currency system has, the higher demand on Bitcoin that will bring Bitcoin to more expensive price.

You can not identify value of Bitcoin.
2826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can the market build an immune system against meddling from influencer like Musk on: June 18, 2021, 03:12:26 PM
The market can not have anything like that. It is a natural instinct of any market and crypto market is not exclusively. If it can, we don't have any influencer because they are people who can influence both thoughts then decisions of others.

Jamie Dimon, John McAfee, Elon Musk and you will have more billionaire influencers in the crypto market. If you are guys who were panic with Elon Musk, 4 years later, you will have your better immune system with FUD but other newbies who join the market in 2024 or 2025 will react as same as you in this year.

The market does not have immune system to FUD because it always has massive newbies.

The beauty of $BANANA is that you can stake it to earn free $BANANA's. Price going up is not as huge of a factor when you are able to operate in this manner Smiley
Rather than gambling with ETH with a future all time high about $10,000, I would like to gamble with $BANANA. From price around $2 to $5, that is a good climb and also a good rally after correction, for me to take profit.

I would be able to double my capital with $BANANA and don't have to hope for $10,000 with Ethereum. $BANANA has bigger chance to double than Ethereum. To manipulate the price and double Ethereum price, the market will need huge capital flow into ETH. With $BANANA, the required capital is smaller.
2828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins have no use case on: June 17, 2021, 08:18:45 AM
Indeed, most people who invest in meme coins do not plan for the long term, they just want to feel the profit from the hype that occurs
in meme coins. It's not healthy and it's best to avoid investing in meme coins, because the risk is very big. If we are late selling the price
at the peak to recover it may take a relatively long time, or we can make the wrong decision, finally buying meme coins at the peak price is
also not a good thing. There are so many risks that can occur when we invest in meme coins, because from the beginning, meme coins did not
have a clear use.
Meme coins are similar to altcoins. You can not classify all altcoins are good, bad or scam. They are very different in quality and the teams created those coins and develop them are important.

I agree  most of meme coins are useless because they have no usecase, no real company behind and no development plan. Fortunately, you always find some scarce cryptocurrencies, meme coins that have real and legit teams, trusted companies behind.

Today I saw that meme coin, Eloncoin, and I believe that it is a legit meme coin. It is created by lightlord or his team. Lightlord is the owner of two gambling sites, Bitvest and 777coin. You can think that coin will be used on those casisnos.

2829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB will break $1000 soon. What are ways for BNB holders to earn free money? on: June 17, 2021, 03:25:50 AM
Now that we are experiencing a bearish momentum within the past few months I think the best way for you to atleast gain a good amount of money by having that BNB is to do Staking. Staking will give you passive income especially you have a good amount of BNB hodlings.
Staking is the best in the time of Holding. You will get more BNB if you stake it but you will get nothing if you hold it in your account or in your wallet. It is wise if you are holders but it is not good if you are trader.

The market is good to do scalping trade with the side way time. If you are better at trading, and scalping trade in particular, you can trade and increase your BNB. Staking is not the only choice for you.
2830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make money with NFTs? on: June 16, 2021, 11:55:19 AM
High gas fees on the ETH blockchain, makes it unprofitable to sell NFTs on it. Binance Smart Chain would be a better choice, but mainstream adoption on the platform is still low these days (when compared against Ethereum).
Fee on Ethereum network is very low recent weeks and it is amazing time for people who want to move their ETH or ERC20 tokens, for swap, trade or input consolidations 12 to 15 Gwei as gas price is very cheap.

The mainstream adoption of NFT will not be only made by Ethereum or Binance Smart Chain or any other smart contract platform, or transaction fee. The main barrier is the risk from NFT tokens. Some people believe in NFTs but the majority are fear about NFTs. I don't think NFTs will die or will never get mainstream adoption. People thought about Bitcoin like that 10 years ago and they were wrong.
2831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🍌🍌 [ANN] ApeSwap | The next-gen AMM, Staking and Farming Protocol on BSC 🍌🍌 on: June 16, 2021, 10:59:20 AM
The market for most of the altcoin might depend on bitcoin at the moment, I hope the growth of bitcoin is just gradual without suffocating the altcoins, It is almost 90% loss in value like in the long bear market. If bitcoin can lead , followed by ethereum hardfork in July ,can return the price value close previous ATH, This market will made the highest return for altcoins ever.
Altcoins rise the most when Bitcoin has very stable side way or Bitcoin rises too much and heats up the market. The second scenario is not very common.

If Bitcoin rallies to more than $40,000 and has stable side way time from $40,000 to $50,000, altcoins will take advantage of that sideway and have good recoveries.

Good or bad with altcoin investments will depend on your price you buy them and when you buy them. If the market changes from bull to bear, altcoins will suffer more serious losses than Bitcoin will.
2832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB will break $1000 soon. What are ways for BNB holders to earn free money? on: June 16, 2021, 10:51:58 AM
And? Current BNB price is around $350-360. NFT is not new to the market, there are already places to trade NFT. Do you really think that after Binance release NFT marketplace its price will skyrocket to $1000? I think not. I think they are a little bit late with NFT marketplace.
Binance has a very sharp growth from 2020 to 2021 and I think it needs more time to grow more. It is too optimistic to think BNB will grow faster than Ethereum because it has Binance, Binance Smart Chain, Pankeswap. Being too optimistic will result in congested thoughts. We can hope for very high price, we will miss good price to take profit.

Quote
No doubt this marketplace will be used, but it wont increase BNB price a lot. What they gonna do - charge 0.075% for every trade ? I think there is no such huge demand in NFT, so that people will trade them like hell and to save on trading fees, will buy lots of BNB, which will cause its price to go up.
We can not say any certain things about the future. Personally I don't see anything good in NFT but it is a trend and it can bounce again or make a higher wave of hype. NFT marketplace will not be a biggest thing that can contribute to the growth of BNB. Binance Smart Chain, Pancakeswap, and promotions from Binance will be more important.
2833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New altcoins questions on: June 15, 2021, 07:52:54 AM
I am totally new to alt coins - trying to learn something new.

I was looking into a very new altcoin (will not name as I do not want to shill) and the white paper talked about a liquidity date named in the future. I am guessing this is when the Devs are allowed to start selling their bags?
Are you newbie in crypto market?
Or you are old member in crypto but only invested in Bitcoin and now begin to have interests in Altcoins?

I guess your answer will be the first one that means you are totally newbie in crypto market.

First, speak of crypto market that is risky. Second, altcoins are more risky than Bitcoin. Third, new altcoins are extremely more risky than old and high-volumed old altcoins.

Developers can pull the rugs whenever they want. You can never detect their secret rugs. You can not code so you can not check their code.

2834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If governments block Bitcoin, does Bitcoin have no value? on: June 15, 2021, 07:44:09 AM
In Bitcoin-based transactions, about 76 billion US dollars of transactions are involved in illegal activities each year, accounting for about 46% of the total Bitcoin transactions.
There are multiple usages of Bitcoin and people are free to use it. They have rights to be their own banks with Bitcoin, so as you. It is the initiative that Satoshi Nakamoto brought to us.

Quote
Almost a quarter of bitcoin users, and nearly half of bitcoin transactions, are illegal.
Source of those figures you used, please.

Quote
Therefore, from a quantitative point of view, the use of Bitcoin is enough to become the target of attention of governments and international criminal police. If governments block Bitcoin, does Bitcoin have no value?
Governments can not block Bitcoin, can not destroy Bitcoin network that is globally decentralized.

Governments can not steal your bitcoin if you don't give them your private keys. The discussion ends.  Cool
2835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB will break $1000 soon. What are ways for BNB holders to earn free money? on: June 15, 2021, 07:22:56 AM
Perhaps on June 24 the price of BNB will show an increase, as they plan to open NFT marketplace. Not much is knows about how it is going to work and whether any NFT can be traded there (if yes, then it will quickly turn marketplace into a junkyard). But at least this is going to be another something with a Binance tag on it, meaning it will show some success sooner or later. On the other hand, NFT hype seems go down, and there might no great demand in marketplace, meaning BNB price would barely change.
What is BNB? It is a token that is backed by Binance. If I am not wrong, it is the first or at least the first successful exchange token in crypto market.

After 4 years of growth, it now has multi support from Binance, Binance Smart Chain, Pancakeswap and Binance NFT marketplace. Binance are trying to hype the market with their NFT marketplace.

What's wrong with people and BANANA? Due to poor market condition it bottomed out like this, but soon will rebound. ApeSwap a great pick to those wants to make a decent chunk of changes on their portfolio. In this way, go buy your BANANAs, it will be 2-3x soon.
I used to hold $BANANA when it fell to below $0.5 so I won't have trouble to hold it again. I fortunately to hold this token and took profit higher than $10 and I will wait for another wave from $BANANA.

ApeSwap is one of the legit DeFi project and this team are quick to resolve problems. If the top above $10 is the first wave of $BANANA, its price can has a good growth and your target (2-3x) is very humble.
2837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There must not be more penny coins like Safemoon or Shib on: June 14, 2021, 10:29:41 AM
People are buying because it was cheap and they will think someday it pumps x1000 or more, however, they don't realize the possible end of their investment. But who knows if they are lucky during the next Bullrun, can't tell, right?

Honestly, I often hear these coins talk in the forum. I don't what is special to them both. What I am just asking not to judge them too fast, I don't want to be biased here, and we never know what is their plan. Only we need not invest a huge amount of money if we are not sure about the project.
Cheap does not meant it is a good coin and also does not mean you can get profit with a cheap coin.

Your profit will be in percent from your entry price. Bitcoin or shit coin can give you same profit if they rise at same %. The problem with shit and very low price tokens are they have low trading volume, no use case and the party will be over when owners, founders finish their plans to dump all tokens they have.

Bitcoin rises and drops, has bull and bear market but you will have many opportunities to enter or exit with Bitcoin market. The volume of Bitcoin is insanely high and you will not lose your capital in one hour, one day with Bitcoin.
2838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BITGESELL - Store of value (Burn rate is 90% of tx fees) #realstoreofvalue on: June 14, 2021, 10:07:34 AM
Is there really any direct correlation if some coin gets a list on Whattomine and it will get miners attraction?

I didn't know about it and want to learn more, could you give me some examples of any cryptocurrencies that get a significant miner attraction after they get listed?
It can not create any attraction after listing. It will make noise on Whattomine if this coin brings profit to miners. If the profit for miners is good enough to be stay at top profitable mineable coins, miners will be attracted to.

If the coin had listed on Whattomine when it rose to $0.24, it would have been a choice of miners.

Also for mining coins, Whattomine is an indicator for calculating profit. If BGL is not available on mining aggregators, then expanding the community will be difficult. With all the resulting negative consequences. You can not confirm the work using POW and not tell other miners about it. So far, I see questions in this topic about how can mine BGL without using Nicehash.
Whattomine has a list that sorts out the most profitable coins for miners and that is why I thought Whattomine can help, not instantly but for future, long time.
2839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BITGESELL - Store of value (Burn rate is 90% of tx fees) #realstoreofvalue on: June 14, 2021, 08:30:05 AM
I think there's an issue in explorer, calculating difficulty adjustment using 2-week time window (like in bitcoin), while BGL has 24-hour difficulty adjustment window. Both have target block spacing of 600 seconds, though. Supposedly bgl.bitaps.com explorer is using bitcoin explorer as it's base, so some calculations still using btc parameters.
Any update from fredeq with the research from Whattomine team? In the last reply, he has interest to list Bitgesell on Whattomine and only wait for research results from his team.

If this coin gets acceptance from Whattomine, and being listed on it, more miners will participate in the Bitgesell mining. Hashrate will increase and it will help the network more healthy in the future as well as catch more attention from investors. Miners usually have big mining communities and don't restrict to a single mining algorithm. They are flexible and will config their rigs to mine the most profitable coins.
2840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin supply shortage? — The 20's strong hands. on: June 14, 2021, 05:13:28 AM
I believe that if the supply from exchanges keeps decreasing, due to people's strong hands or their “beliefs”, the $100,000 is a joke to what this future holds. The more strength these hands have, the more the demand.
It won't change much because no all investors have characteristics of whales. They have similar characteristics of the crowd and almost won't change with time. Whales can be made of tiny fishes that evolve and become smarter with time. Whales can be whales at beginning such as Elon Musk.

It is easier to become crypto whales if they are billionaires or big institutes but very few of them will stay too long in the market, even they have strong hands. If they get good profits, they can leave and act as Fast come fast goes Whales.

Exchanges will be the most loyal whales, not personal or institutional whales.
