It's usually to censor any criticism about the site or OP and whatever he says his intentions were to make an auto moderated thread, I always find it wrong, a thread in the Gambling section serves as a support thread where users playing on the site can freely express their concerns, problems etc. but this way OP can delete any reply which according to his discretion shouldn't be in the thread.
