2821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ever dreamed about Bitcoin? on: April 17, 2016, 03:10:37 PM
Actually I've had one recently, but I've had several ones at this point. I think it's normal to have dreams about something that you spend most of your free time thinking about, researching, getting informed, investing, trying to find new ways to earn more... it gets into your subcontinents and you end up thinking about it even when you aren't thinking about it, which creates dreams.
2822  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: April 17, 2016, 03:02:05 PM
It's impossible that Bitcoin drops that low anymore, it's simply too big too fail (sometimes the "too big to fail" phrase gets some hate and has negative connotations like thinking you are above everything and too confident, but in the case of Bitcoin this is simply the truth).

So since it's impossible.. I don't know what I would do. Probably buy 1000 BTC.
2823  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: April 17, 2016, 02:55:50 PM
Sorry, we're late adopters. We can't get rich with bitcoin.

That's pretty stupid sorry. Bitcoin hasn't even begin to grow yet. The current marketcap is roughly 6 billion dollars. Do you know what 6 billion dollars is in the grand scheme of things? Absolutely nothing. Something like Uber has 50 billions. There are billionaires out there that are bigger than Bitcoin...

Some people are don't know how to put things in perspective.
2824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long do you play per day gambling like Dice ? on: April 12, 2016, 02:33:47 PM
I tend to limit my playings to never surpass something like 0.1 BTC in monthly gambling losses, this means taht I will never play more than that, no matter what the hell happens I cant never lose more tan 0.1 BTC on a single month because if I go beyond that I start feeling like an idiot, and I need to start saving as much as possible.
2825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: April 12, 2016, 01:38:53 PM
Gambling is very stressful, especially when you lose everything..This line when is crossed it is to late for saving soul..So if you love to gamble, just use math, and don't invest everything you have, gamble with small amounts and everything will stay in the field of game- acceptable loss. With gamble you can lost fortune if you don't use head.

Some people manage losses better than other. If you are a good gambler and by god gambler I mean a person that can take loses and don't go insane, you can have a decent amount of fun and get a decent amount of profits as well, and if you lose you will not go insane because that's what makes a good gambler above everything else.
2826  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fasten your seatbelts: now it begins... on: April 12, 2016, 12:54:56 PM
I have an unusual thrill this morning, like it rarely happened in my life...usually it means big time!!!
Reading news i understood and the thrill became action:
Bitfinex 426 trend up
Btc-e 420 trend up
Coinbase 426 trend up
Bitstamp 425 trend up
Xapo (my wallet) 432 trend up

All alts down (and i mean it...ALL DOWN)! Yeah i'm sure now: it is showtime! Going to move a bunch of USD to Bitstamp...

Everyone that isn't a fool and has been around in the game (and chances are those are the people that control relevant amount of coins) are moving all of their altcoin investments back to Bitcoin, and they are doing in a steady way but not in huge quantities to cause an alarm and make the price to to the moon, not yet, they are doing it slowly. The price will rise like crazy in the following months.
2827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Divorce: A Match Made in Heaven? on: April 12, 2016, 12:36:33 PM
This dont affect the bitcoin at all, since its one use of bitcoin hide or protect your money at bitcoin avoiding governements and banks to control it,soo its just an extra option to use and not to follow.

Can you be more non commited to the topic, why bother posting crap like this? You brought nothing to the discussion.
And with a teeny tiny amount of sniffing around they can find your sending tons of money to Bitcoin exchanges. That's unless you're taking out mounds of cash and meeting sweaty men in coffee shops for months on end.

You got something against sweaty men?
Its easy create a conpany that you pay a set anount with invoices. Once money is sent to account, take it out by bitcoin. You can pile the cash for once a year meet up or be lucky to have btc atms around your way.
A famous hockey player moved to the tropics till his kid was 18 and he no longer needed to pay. Not cool but lots of ways to dodge the system.

That's freaking crazy, having to resort to living some remote place filled with nasty mosquitoes just to avoid alimony specially as a rick hockey player? why not just pay and get done with it.
And even if you wanted to do that, normal people doesn't have the resources to move somewhere. You can't compare a rich athlete with tons of options with the average worker.
2828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2MB block mined in segnet on: April 12, 2016, 12:33:19 PM
I don't understand what segnet is and how it will impact price of bitcoin in near future, can you please explain more about segnet.

If you wonder what is SegNet, see:

https://bitcoincore.org/en/2016/01/21/launch_segwit_testnet/

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/segregated-witness-deployed-on-new-bitcoin-testnet-segnet-1452277172

To put it in laymans term: It's a way to process more transactions without having to resort to raising the blocksize, in other words actual scaling.
2829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / 2MB block mined in segnet on: April 12, 2016, 12:22:35 PM
https://segnet.smartbit.com.au/block/00000000071c5eb403407dd7352ad5206873a6c05b3b5fbd0303aaf7f03e2ee9

The scaling is real, Bitcoin Core proving to be wizards and masters of coding, meanwhile the rest are still doing nothing with facts. Soon we will have segnet deployed, sidechains, lightning, and halving in only 3 months. Get ready and start buying as much cheap 3 figure BTC as possible before it's too late to do so. This summer will be the best ever.
2830  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: April 12, 2016, 12:19:30 PM
I will save them since that would allow me to reach my dream long term holding of owning 21 BTC, and once I have those 21 BTC, I will start investing and spending, but never until I reach that number of BTC, I think everyone that understands the importance of Bitcoin is going for that number at least.
2831  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: April 11, 2016, 01:55:29 PM
Same here. At the long term you are losing money if you sell, no matter at what price. If you wait long enough, you will have more wealth than you started with, it's pretty basic behavior of nature. Bitcoin going up is like 2+2=4, it already happened, you just have to wait for it and you will find more wealth, we already won but we are advanced from the rest of minds, we only need the rest of minds to sync in with our advanced reality and we will all be rich. Hold long term.
2832  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: April 11, 2016, 01:25:25 PM
Most people will never learn the lesson until they lose a lot of money themselves trying to short, a lot of people will learn this soon during the having when they panic sell once it starts raising, then they realize they have lost a lot of money and all they had to do to become rich was just to hold on to their Bitcoins and see  the price go up and stabilize higher than before.
2833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: April 11, 2016, 01:17:43 PM
Gambling is fun but I think it will not be fun if you are rich so I would answer this question with a no honestly because I think there is no enjoying part anymore.
Its nice to spend dollars but with gambling you want to win money and if you are rich you do not need that money anymore..

It depends on people's personality.
If you have an addictive personality it will be a total disaster for you and you will lose a ton of money while making a casino very rich.
If you are a flashy personality you will only gamble in front of other people and try to make it as public as possible to get publicity out ot it Mayweather style.
If you are normal person you will gamble only very rarely or you will do it in small quantity or not gamble at all.
2834  Economy / Gambling / Re: Battlecoin.org - Multiplayer bomberman clone on: April 11, 2016, 12:32:40 PM
I love this idea and love bomberman bbut there never seems to be anyone online to ever play with so i have barely practiced. I can't even say if it's fun or not .  Cry

The problem it seems to be that the developer was running out of time and funds so he had to stop working on it full time, please someone must fund this to push the development forward and make it more responsive and also make a marketing campaign to bring more people by advertising it, there must be a lot of people that dont even imagine there is a bitcoin game like this. Lets keep this thread alive at least.
2835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Are Just Too Stupid to Use Bitcoin Right Now on: April 11, 2016, 12:09:36 PM
Yeah I also suggest that you do not use your bitcoin right now. Try to save them so you can sell them at a profit. Why people use their bitcoins to buy some stuff is something I cannot understand.

You can't understand because you use bitcoin as investment, not as currency.
This is reason why bitcoin can't grow at all.

Bitcoin will only grow if we use it as a currency and not just a money for investment,we can help bitcoin grow more if we rotate it more in the market and not just in trading.

Wrong, by this logic it would mean that gold should be dead because no one uses gold as a currency, only as an investment, and the other use cases are anecdotal, most of the gold is keep hoarded as a safe haven to hedge against a collapsing fiat economy. In this sense, Bitcoin can reach trillion of dollars of marketcap by this usage alone. Of course, if it's used in everyday transactions, that's cool too.
2836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan is starting to love bitcoin again... on: April 11, 2016, 12:00:45 PM
Ever country that is delaying his acceptance about Bitcoin is going to look idiotic in the future. Anyone that has some perspective would be pro-Bitcoin and would be researching it and trying to profit from it instead of attack Bitcoin and all crypto in general.
2837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: April 10, 2016, 01:44:35 PM
I wish my favorite Bitcoin gambling game (battlecoin) was very popular so if I was rich I would do mega big gambles in bomberman games and everyone would trip out at some crazy dude betting 10 BTC in a game of bomberman. It would be cool and people would think it's insane while you have a laugh because 10 BTC for a rich people is like nothing.
2838  Economy / Gambling / Re: BubbleCoin.org - Multiply your bitcoins up to 10 times by bursting bubbles. on: April 10, 2016, 01:42:12 PM
Cool game, I like the background Popcorn music, very relaxing while you pop bubbles. I think you should give people free demo credits to get a feel of the game, as of right now it just says "0" all the time. Also when I changed from "Bet" from 0 to anything else, I can't set it back to 0 and it asks me all the time to deposit mode, but I want to play in demo mode first.
2839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ShapeShift Offline After Hack on: April 10, 2016, 01:31:53 PM
I thought this service never held any coins, as in I thought you would just choose what coin you want to convert in, and then the transaction would only happen once there are available coins so they never need to held coins, now that's decentralized. If they held coins.. that's just shit and someone needs to come up with a solution where no 3rd party holding coins is needed.
2840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this what we called "addictive to gamble"? on: April 10, 2016, 01:08:09 PM
Gambling is addiction only when you lost control over your life and time. But this is only case if you are weak,
if you are not good character. But then you are fertile ground for many others hazardous habits

A lot of people are addicted to gamble but can control their addiction because it's not as harsh as some other peoples simply due genetics. If you are genetically prone to have severe addiction then you can't control it and there's not much you can do but get locked in some mental institution and get feed up some sort of pills. I don't think there is free will to choose when you have super strong addiction genetics, luckily i don't.
