2821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why should Gambling be legalized ? on: December 31, 2021, 04:14:48 PM
Prostitution is the oldest craft, there's no way it can be totally banned, and some countries are trying that... the same is with gambling and drugs! We should be free to do what we want with our money and body!
Making something illegal just creates greater desire to pursue that illegal activity.

A friend of mine had an apartment that he rented out to students. One girl who lived in it proposed after a while that they change the original agreement. He found her very attractive and she noticed it. One day she proposed three scenarios: She says: I can continue paying rent as we originally agreed. Or I pay 50% of the original fee, and we have sex a couple of times each month. The third option would be having sex a couple of more times for no rent at all. That's prostitution for you. Good luck to governments trying to control that. Roll Eyes

She caught him off guard because he didn't expect it and never before got such an offer. I am not going to tell which option he chose and if I "helped" in any way. Use your imagination.

Well, I guess your friend was lucky! He rented a flat to an attractive girl and she is open-minded for more than just cash-flat deals... so they come up with an agreement! After all, it's an agreement between two (or three) adult people!!!

I heard about many similar situations... one of my friends was a taxi driver at that time (years ago), and some girls didn't pay with money for their drives! And I consider this as some nonharmful deals, and for sure there are crazy deals out there! But in the end, every person should be free to make "those kinds of deals", why the government should interfere with some "private choices we make"!?

2822  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I know legit and scam investment? on: December 31, 2021, 10:45:20 AM
Too good to be true
Fast ROI
Fast way on getting rich
Easiest money making

These are the common indicators on which you could really say that you are dealing with a scam. Dont make yourself get fooled or let your greediness inside you
would take over or would control you because that would really be a big problem if you do that.

Research and be wise on taking decisions because once you do make a mistake then that would surely cost you.

I agree with you, we always come back on those common and simple indicators, too good to be true and fast ROI! Probably it's greediness that makes us believe in something that can make us rich in the short run, and I guess all of us made a mistake or two when we started investing and learning about the markets! Definitely, people shouldn't allow being fooled with big promises, and people should never trust something with all their money... careful approach, research, and thinking before making a decision is what can keep us safe and give us more chances for making a profit!

Quote
Therefore, the main plus that I see in the legalization of gambling is that it does not restrict the freedom of people.

You are free to waste your money anywhere you want. This is an important part of freedom. Grin
The main benefit of gambling legalization is supposed to be keeping the mobsters and loan sharks away from this industry.
However,I'm not sure how the mobsters and loan sharks would stay away, since they could create legal businesses and still run casinos.
This is the same question as "Why should prostitution be legalized?"
There's no way that prostitution will be totally banned. This "industry" will continue to exist forever and it would be better,if the governments are regulating it,rather than trying to oppress it.

Prostitution is the oldest craft, there's no way it can be totally banned, and some countries are trying that... the same is with gambling and drugs! We should be free to do what we want with our money and body! That should be an important part of freedom... but many countries keep these 3 things in the dark and all people who are doing one of these 3 things in the wrong country can get jail time!
All 3 things should be legalized and decriminalized like it's the case with some countries already! People should be free and live normal lives, without hiding even they are not doing anything really bad!
In the end, if we take a look entire situation from the start, these 3 things are around since the world exist and they are here to stay! Making them illegal is probably one of the worst decisions ever made... the result is too many nonviolent people are sitting in jails!
2824  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop or continue trading on: December 30, 2021, 08:37:04 PM
As you told me you have lost your capital, I suggest if you don't learn from your capital loss then you don't need to start again trading but if you learned a lot from your loss then you should try again and before starting again you should learn about technical analysis and don't invest in any altcoin new in the market.

I believe this should be the bottom line of this entire discussion! We all face mistakes and losses, but will we continue or quit depends on did we learn something, can we do it better, are we ready to risk and maybe lose once again? It sounds like a learning process, and it's common for all of us... we either learn from our mistakes and after fall we rise and try again, or we quit and look for something else! So OP should think about where he is and what is best for him... nobody can do that for him!
2825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your altcoin predictions for the new year 2022 on: December 30, 2021, 07:47:26 PM
I don't expect a boring year, that's for sure! I mean every year is turbulent in crypto, with crazy bull and bear markets... definitely we don't lack excitement here in the crypto world, and I believe the next year will be like all others before, crazy as it can be! Some coins will disappear, some new ones will arrive, I expect some coins to make new records... with more users, and every year crypto community is growing, we can expect crypto market to expand even more!
Buckle up and never stop stacking some coins you like and believe in, even if 2022 doesn't bring what we expect it will happen in 2023! Smiley
2826  Economy / Gambling / Re: ltccasino big win in Booming games on: December 30, 2021, 06:07:51 PM
I don't think OP is shilling here, otherwise he wouldn't mention the withdrawal limit issue wich resulted in him losing all his winnings.

OP is not a shilling but has been forced to lose all the winning due to withdrawal issues on the site, most of the sites that offer such big bonuses and winning always have a withdrawal limit or conditions that are hard to be met which potentially results in the total loss on the players so I will advise before you play or deposit on any site make sure to have read the withdrawal terms and conditions.

Yes, I think so too. However, imagine a whale comes to this casino who is used to gambling with amounts of several thousand dollars, and at the end he cannot withdraw his winnings from the casino all at once, but has to do so in steps of several thousand per day. The OP claims that he can withdraw only 15,000 doge per day (and max 300,000 per month) from the casino, which is simply too low for many professional gamblers.

I had similar experiences ... a couple of times I wanted to withdraw money from the casino and they put me on hold, of course, I get tired of waiting and I spend the amount I wanted to withdraw or at least halve it! This was like a usual thing before, but not in recent years. In the top crypto casinos where I play now this rarely happens, in my case almost never! Maybe I wait a maximum of an hour to withdraw, usually, it's fast!

PS: I've seen a lot of clips where people get big odds with the Booming provider ... unfortunately I didn't have luck with them, mostly modest x50, more or less, and rarely over x100!
2827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Opinion on increasing gambling. on: December 30, 2021, 04:08:05 PM
Based on rough analysis

Numbers in online gambling are rising every year in the past decade, it's a trend and I don't think it will end anytime soon!

Interesting article for people who want to take a look: https://www.gminsights.com/industry-analysis/online-gambling-market

I think gambling is more accessible than ever before! There are more casinos around, on almost every corner, as far as the internet there are zillion casinos as well, and in the last few years it has been much easier to move money online ... so this growth is completely logical! So I believe the numbers will continue to rise, and we can only hope that people will not turn to the complete degens as some of us here! Smiley
2828  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: December 29, 2021, 10:15:35 PM
By the way, I didn't open Chips for some time and I am a bit positively surprised to see how much I got from dividends! I guess the new system is better than the old one! Smiley

So much better isnt it. Im hoping either of those alts that chips gave me from the divident share would pump to atleast x50 lol

It's better! If any of those coins pumps that much or more I guess we will have for one nice gambling session! Well, this sounds like a nice new year's wish! I don't touch them at all, I just play with BTC and Tron there, so I have a nice amount of some coins, I don't even remember their names, but they are there piling up...

2829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: December 29, 2021, 08:42:55 PM
I don't support the idea to organize the World Cup biennially. I mean that it wouldn't be good for the players in terms of having a much tighter fixture ahead of them. In terms of spectators, it would be great of course. Because everyone loves to watch the World Cup. But I don't want to be selfish about this topic of course. But we will see what FIFA will do. Maybe they will really give this formula a try and then decide the future.

I have a similar opinion, a big tournament every two years can be very exhausting for players and teams ... but it is definitely a good thing for us spectators! It is still a tournament with strong national teams and top players, it would be nice to watch them more often and bet on them of course! I don't know what kind of decision we can expect, from what I've read and watched it looks like people are divided, half like the new idea and the other half prefer the traditional way! It will be interesting to see the final decision about this matter!
2830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrencies for iGaming 2021 on: December 29, 2021, 07:31:39 PM
Bitcoin, Tron, BNB, BUSD... I mostly use these coins for gambling! From time to time I use other coins too, but these ones are my favorites! Bitcoin as always is on top, but TRX is good with low and fast transactions... when we are at low and fast transactions I completely replaced Ethereum with BNB! I will never pay high ETH fee again in my life! Smiley

I was looking for some coin at BC.games and when I opened the list of all coins and tokens they accept I was amazed... the list is impressive. So I believe that list of top crypto for iGaming is long in 2021, and will probably be longer in the upcoming years!
2831  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital asset is for holding on: December 29, 2021, 11:32:25 AM
Digital assets is indeed for holding but not everyone are in a fit position to hold even if they want to, I've been in this space for years now and I can say that you need to be prepared financially to hold coins and tokens successfully for a long period of time, you have to have job secured first, I mean enough to carry you on, then you will hold with ease

That's the point ... not everyone is in a position to save anything! Before putting aside anything of value, we must be financially able to do so! Only financially secured people, with income from more sides can invest further in digital or any other assets and hold them for a long period of time! I guess longer we can hold more benefits we can get, but there's no holding if we are short with money every month!
2832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Delusional or not? on: December 28, 2021, 09:08:47 PM
Decentralized or centralised I don't care

But you should care... I care about it! It's not the same, we need to know who is in charge, and before everything else, the ones who are in charge should do things transparently! I like privacy coins, and I don't care what people do with their own money in their own free time, but I do care about government is doing with the money they get from all of us!

You are delusional if you think that something centralized can fix the global problems... and I am not stating that decentralized can fix the problems, but at least with decentralized, we have some chances!
2833  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: December 28, 2021, 07:46:02 PM
It's quite here. I would like to show my support for Chips.gg with the $50,000 Christmas Wager Race which will end on 9 Jan 2022.

It's a litle bit late to join this Wager race but this post is made to remind you that Chips.gg has very good events. Don't forget to follow them and join their good events.

Well, we can't be active in all the places! A nice reminder that Chips is hosting a Christmas event like many other casinos, I didn't catch it from the start, and to be honest, after seeing the first guy at 54 million wagered I don't think I have any chances here! Good luck to all others who are fighting for some good place!!!

By the way, I didn't open Chips for some time and I am a bit positively surprised to see how much I got from dividends! I guess the new system is better than the old one! Smiley
2834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Animal racing on: December 28, 2021, 03:51:05 PM
I don't bet on animal racing! Not even on horses and dogs, probably the most popular... In one moment that became popular, in every casino people were sitting and betting on horse and dog races all day long! So there were a lot of stories about how those races are rigged, they are replaying old races... I didn't find all that attractive at all, so I never placed a bet on something like that, and probably not ever! It's simply not my thing!
2835  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many consecutive looses can you handle in trading? on: December 28, 2021, 08:17:32 AM
In general, I try to avoid losses. The second stage of protection against losses is a small size of trades. No more than 3% of the total deposit.

I am doing something similar, I am avoiding losses and cutting losses, it's why I trade only with top coins... if I get trapped I just move an amount on a side, and sooner or later I get to my goal! I don't/rarely trade with unknown and unpopular coins and tokens, my trades are usually mid and long, as I said with top coins is easier to trade in my opinion... it's a bit waiting so patience is needed, but it works for me!
2836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest Gambling Win in 2021 on: December 27, 2021, 06:01:52 PM
I had some nice wins with slots over x2000, but with lower bets, like $0.1 or $0.2... when I played with higher stakes I didn't win over x500! So I didn't have any amazing wins this year! I can only hope for better days, and to finally get at least one max payout on any slot! Another year without hitting that! Smiley
2837  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀Bitgame.com|🔥LUT Lightpaper is Launched|⚡️Crypto Betting + Weekly Divs|⚽️🎮 on: December 27, 2021, 04:22:00 PM
There are multiple sites where the representative doesn't post regurarly anymore. Yes, they should be more active on here but also build further on their site. People will forget just because their site needs a massive improvement (more third party slots, lower minimum to bet, better dividends, ...).

But not on a new casino, other casinos which have established their status and reputation are ok to not post here for a long time and only post where there are important announcements, but Bitgame? I don't think the majority here knows about this casino and if new players check this announcement and notice the absence of a representative  I doubt if they will continue to play here, they better get their acts together.

Well, maybe they think they can't compete with already established casinos here on the forum!? With what they have to offer it's not a surprise that many didn't hear about them,  I agree with Babygun, the site needs improvements, only like that they can become more attractive... but they are not doing much about that, they are not active here to listen to the community that can help them!
To be honest I don't think they will get their acts together... maybe I am wrong, but it's my impression!
2838  Economy / Gambling / Re: Self-exclusion/ban who to be blame on: December 27, 2021, 01:09:39 PM
...
Thanks for those contributions but how do we deal with the problem now that we know the users/players are in sole responsibility for such actions, I have come across some complaints on this issue with players calling the sites scams.

In my opinion, we can't classify this issue as a scam... if someone is unsubscribed from receiving promotional emails for any reason, and those emails still coming just unsubscribe once again, contact support and tell them something is wrong about that and they will fix it! I don't see a point in making drama and calling for some serious legal actions for this stupidity! I don't think there's some conspiracy here, like casinos are targeting addicted gamblers with promotional emails... People who are doing this sort of thing are trying to present themselves as victims, but I don't see them like that... they played with fire, they tried whatever they tried and now they are crying and trying to get something back from the casino!
2839  Economy / Gambling / Re: Self-exclusion/ban who to be blame on: December 27, 2021, 09:47:23 AM
Well, it is not the fault of the player entirely some times gambling sites don't clearly state the rules as is concerned to account closer and on what condition

I had some problems with the police regarding some documents about my wife... Long story short, we had to hand over some documents but we were a day late... that police inspector said it's a rule, he "arrested" my wife and take her to the judge directly, they didn't give me to drive her! So the penalty was around 50 euros, and it wasn't about those 50 euros it was about the way they took it! I was arguing with them, I waited for the judge to talk with him... he just said "not knowing the rules does not absolve you of responsibility", he turned around and left me standing there!

It is always the Player

It's always the player... it's always on us! It's how we do things, how careful we are... people who want that self-exclusion should exclude gambling from their heads first, just with strong will they can forget about gambling and find something else to do!
2840  Economy / Economics / Re: Not correct news about omicron and eu stocks on: December 26, 2021, 07:09:44 PM
I don't think no one smart enough would be basing their investment decisions on CNBC "articles". Their job isn't necessarily to spread decent information, but for the headlines and the main gist of the article just to be easily graspable for the masses so they share it on social media.

Shocking how many will actually react based off these types of articles. Yet they don't even understand the purpose of why its being written, or for whom.

We came to "omicron"... who would think it's possible to have so many covid variants?! All this became like some crazy shit show, and nobody has any idea what's really happening around! We may know what's on the table, but we definitely don't have a clue what is under!
I don't think there's any other purpose than to confuse people even more... it's what they have been doing from the start, while there's confusion around, the center of power will make a profit and secure their control, it's easier to rule over stupid people than over openminded!
