On the other hand though, its quite shameful to the team if they will lose to the Blackwater team so I guess the streak continues Cheesy.

I think losing is just normal, and eventually, Blackwater will win because they are so desperate for a win, they will work every game to improve their chances of winning. I don't know when the streak will be over but I know them being winless will not be forever.

Northport vs Blackwater, the hottest team vs the coldest team in the PBA.  Smiley
2822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance donates $10 million to support Ukraine on: February 27, 2022, 09:41:08 PM
It's a good example but again the fund is central and people can't check how the donation money is used, I was expecting a multi-signature address but what is done is the database management by binance.charity/
It's great that Binance have donated $10 million, but I don't understand why they are asking people to donate to them. Why would I hand my personal details over to Binance and give them details of where my donation is coming from, for them to no doubt use some of it to cover their administrative costs, before then passing it on to organizations operating in Ukraine with no oversight, when I could just donate to the organizations I want to donate to directly? Even the Ukrainian government have their own crypto donation addresses. Is the whole thing not just set up so Binance can say "Look how great and charitable we are" when in reality it would be better for people to just bypass them and donate directly?
Maybe its also a win win scenario though, they got to donate to Ukraine but they also have to announce it to the media how great and trustworthy they are.  But since the Ukraine government itself has its own crypto address, then you can donate directly to them. But i have read those fun raising projects for Ukraine, actually Binance should also be credited for that for being so humanitarian. You can read it here: https://www.binance.com/en/support/announcement/6bce8615076a4173a4738817c597b09e
2823  Economy / Economics / Re: War requires three things on: February 27, 2022, 09:19:13 PM
I can understand to the money, money, money comment. Wars are extremely expensive, not only in direct cost of sustaining the war effort, but also to secondary costs in keep the economy going and making plans to obtain resources needed for the economy, that becomes more difficult to obtain, on both sides of the war. If this becomes a prolonged war, Russia will feel the financial impact and Europe will feel the increase in cost of alternative energy sources. It may just be in the end a decision between who can last the longest between potentially hunger and starvation on the one hand for Russia and high energy cost on the other hand for Europe.
Money money money, that sounds like a lot of money they need there to start a war but it's true because of the high-powered vehicles and the pay for the soldiers are also expensive because their own lives are at risk here. Resources are now difficult to obtain because the connection to other countries is now closed or blocked due to penalties and even if they still have the money, they will still have a hard time getting the resources.

Russia is lucky despite of the hate of most countries to them, they are still friends with china and they can still get resources from this country. I don't think they will prolong this war when they know that it can cause them a problem in terms of finances.
But Putin has no plans to stop the war. Once he started it, its hard for him to stop. I guess those sanctions made by US for Russia may not be relevant at all as Russia has China that will backed it up. But i agree on the idea that Putin has more interest than money, he aims to prove that Russia should always be the most powerful country and that all its alliance should always submit to its will. And Ukraine should never go against it.
2824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why are there so many coins and the reason why some developers failed on: February 27, 2022, 08:48:14 PM
I believe developers saw the the vision of Bitcoin and try to explore from the vision  by introducing and making their own coin but they lost focus because they only have one goal in mind which is making money, forgetting the most vital ingredients in developing an asset. They forget that they are certain steps and strategies to undergo before accomplishing a good assets or goal.

Some of the reasons why I think some developers fail is because:

1. Lack of funding both the starting aspect and the launching aspect (lack of money to continue)
2. Failure in out righting frauds
3. Failure to evolve especially when the coin initially start bomming

Most developers have only one vision which is making money that is why many coins doesn't grow and they failed because they didn't see the vision ahead.

Exactly. Most developers are into making money, instead of believing in the technology. That's the reason why there are so many coins on the market right now. What we've seen lately is a new wave of tokens emerging from existing smart contract platforms aiming to take as much money from investors as possible. Blockchain networks built from scratch (eg: Bitcoin, Litecoin, etc.) are often a rarity these days. Not to mention, PoW-based cryptocurrencies are becoming scarce as developers shifted their focused to PoS due to "environmental concerns".

The vision of a decentralized blockchain network that provides real use cases to the world is slowly fading away to oblivion. If this keeps up, Bitcoin may end up being the only coin that will not end up corrupted by greed. In this world, money talks so expect to see more useless coins come up with the purpose of enriching developers themselves. Just my opinion Smiley
As long as money talks, greed will always be around. And once the greed is high, expect that the project itself will always been a low valuable and will not meet the demand of its community. Though there are developers that are more focused on their goal, having less greed that motivates them, but some of them still failed. “There are lots of reasons that crypto projects fail, but at the end of the day I think one of the most important parts of a successful project is building a strong community,” Alan Chiu said, the chief executive of Boba network and Enya. Not because that their technology does not work, but because they haven't galvanised a community that cares about their mission. https://capital.com/cryptocurrencies-that-failed-and-why
2825  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 29 Year Old Legend In Crypto Trading on: February 27, 2022, 08:00:17 PM

Taking advantage of every bitcoin price difference in each country makes Sam have many advantages. Sam is also a young boy who is very smart and able to manage all of that well until he founded the FTX Exchange company. Sam is also a very generous person because all the profits he gets are donated to people in need and that is extraordinary. He lives a simple life and does not think about the modern lifestyle that is full of money. he even wanted to donate an even bigger amount.
Most of the smartest people in the world are generous and easily give out a huge portion of their wealth to charity, but Sam's case to some extent bring extra excitement as all the profits come from cryptocurrency trading and he is also willing to share idea and tips that aid his profits in trading. FTX is one of the many products of Sam that built the brand from scratch to where it is today.
I guess that's how smart people like Sam motivate him from the start that money will no longer be profitable if you can't share it to others who badly need it. And luckily, Sam has always been a very selfless person to devote all his profits into charities where he thinks need most of his money. And he's willing more than enough to share his secret tips why he has been successful and becomes legend in trading. Maybe its also an advantage if at your young age passion is already there to drive you to where you want to be.
2826  Economy / Economics / Re: Putin next steps and where it may fail spectacularly on: February 27, 2022, 07:26:30 PM
Well at the end of the day ukranians are fighting back, the president itself is fighting back, they are trying to do the best that they can for a really long time and at the end of the day, it's hard to imagine how many 18-19 year old men are fighting, 18-60 year old males are not allowed to cross any border and they are asked to go back and fight for their country, things are not really going that great. Putin is loosing trust of the world, not just his people, he wants to use nuclear weapon, he is threatening world war 3. Things are not really going great and at the end of the day I do believe that NATO needs to support because Ukraine is not going to step back and de-arm themselves..the negotiations are rude and stupid, let's see what happens. But Putin will be the person who started ww3 and destroyed the economy of this whole country

the impact of wars was always devastating, but the freedom of Ukrainian people is priceless, they do everything to protect their rights as the nation. We see  even old men fight with guns, they are very motivated and ready for death, therefore its impossible for Russians to win in the city with 2 million fighters.

I am awaiting if other countries will help them in this war. Germany already are supplying weapons to Ukraine. But no country yet are waging war alongside with Ukraine as Putin declared that there will be ramifications for those who will intervene in this war. I believe some countries are still weighing on how can they help in this situation. They are more on talks right now, but they should not wait any longer as Putin is ready to destroy this country. He won't back out now if he doesn't get what he wants. I hope this will end the soonest as more and more civilians are being affected on this war.
I guess France and Germany have already decided to supply weapons to Ukraine but the rest of NATO countries have remained silent and undecided. Putin definitely wants trouble so he will end up adding it on the list if there will be other countries who will consider to backed Ukraine. However, as per update, Putin orders Russian nuclear deterrence forces on high alert. I think if these Russians will start using ballistic missiles, that would probably means a total mass destruction on part of Ukraine. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/02/27/ukraine-holds-on-to-kyiv-as-dawn-breaks-as-us-and-europe-impose-massive-new-sanctions.html
2827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Bitcoin, You'll Thank Me Later - Mexican Billionaire Says on: February 27, 2022, 06:49:34 PM

Good point! While it is indeed wise and an advantage to buy bitcoins now and other leading cryptocurrency while the the prices are cheap due to the market is dipping low these past few days but it's also wise to spend your money conservatively or in a conventional way. There's no harm in investing crypto assets but in times like these that we're in a pandemic crisis and a war was going on in Europe then we might need to think twice or thrice if needed before spending some excess funds. As @PrivacyG said, having a reserve of cash especially on-hand might come in handy soon because we don't know what the future holds.

In my case, I am still observing the market and because of the current situation of war and conflict against Russia and Ukraine I am researching if this conflicts will go widen or will it take longer which I hope would not. Yes, a wise spending is a must and also a good idea to acquire another crypto which has a good use case. I am also expecting that the market will be affected because of the conflicts and that also include the stock market, so be wise and hopefully we could make the best out of this worst situation
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine will never be forever so we should take advantage of the opportunity to invest in bitcoin right now while the price is not yet in peak. Because once this war will be over, i guess bitcoin price will start to move up again along with altcoins too. So it will only mean that we miss another chance to invest in bitcoin as well as those established altcoins.

Regardless of what is happening right now, bitcoin will always have a bright future because bitcoin fever has already started and is now inevitable. So i don't see no reasons why some are still hesitant to invest in bitcoin knowing it will offer huge returns if we start buying and hodling it at its current price.
2828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 27, 2022, 07:39:35 AM

We have 2 games today.

1st game ; Ginebra vs DIYP and 2nd game is Magnolia vs Beermen, probably the debut of Shabazz in this game.

I got SMB here, Shabazz is a quality import and I'm expecting a big win by the SMB against the Magnolia although they are the number 1 team right now. I even like that because the odds would be attractive.
The odds is 1.91 for SMB.. that's a good odds to take if you really believe that SMB is going to have a big win.

By the way, I saw this odds, seems like Philippines has a game now against New Zealand, they are the underdog so it should be a good bet.
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/basketball/international/world-cup-qualification-asia-oceania/new-zealand-vs-philippines-621a07963db81a3c2587883e
I saw the highlights of this New Zealand team, they have plenty of tall players, so it's going to be the battle of height and speed, if Gilas will take advantage on the Speed, then they can get an upset here.

The handicap is +10.5 Gilas and 5.00 for moneyline.
2829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 27, 2022, 06:20:38 AM
Still, I'm waiting for which team will lose to this Blackwater team. I'm very excited to see it Cheesy.

No team will lose in Blackwater. Blackwater is doing great in maintaining the hardest record in the PBA and the whole world. I believed they are dedicated to maintaining and improving that record.

There will be more losses to come at this team. No one can change it.

Go BlackWater!

If the team will be defeated by Blackwater I think they give a chance to a black water team:Smiley cause in what blackwater experiences right now is the hardest situation by a team even a single win they not got but in there all game has a loss.
I think that's the climax of the story of black water if they win against their future games but if they will still loss and no single win in the whole conference I think they build an history in the world of PBA.

Blackwater seemed like a non existing team in the PBA now, any game they are in, it's an automatic loss for them because they got used to losing and forget how to win already.

We have 2 games today.

1st game ; Ginebra vs DIYP and 2nd game is Magnolia vs Beermen, probably the debut of Shabazz in this game.
2830  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Top 9 Trusted bounty campaign manager. on: February 27, 2022, 05:36:14 AM
I'm not sure with the ranking though as we have our own opinion, but I see some popular names in the list and I believe they are trusted. The most popular names are Hhampuz and yahoo62278, they have been here for years and are able to maintain their good reputation though they are not perfect.

By the way, you misspelled Hhampuz to Hhumpuz, you can correct that.
2831  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be comfortable with your strategy! on: February 26, 2022, 09:57:58 PM
choosing a suitable strategy for the trade we are doing is very difficult, I tried several strategies at the beginning of the trade and I suffered a lot of losses.
after a long time I finally found a suitable strategy even though I didn't get much profit, but I was able to minimize the risk so that it made me comfortable and until now I have consistently used this strategy without wanting to try other strategies.
I think whatever we do, if we are consistent, we will benefit.
It's very true when you say that having multiple strategies is not something that can provide many benefits.
Experience is a big factor that can help you in discovering the strategy that will suit on you. And its not really the big profits that you will get from trading that will matter the most, but on minimizing the losses and making even small but consistent profits. And being successful and profitable in trading does not mean that you should resort on making multiple strategies, have at least one or two that you can master and use it with passion.
2832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I was tempted to sell off altcoin on: February 26, 2022, 09:43:23 PM
First, wrong move there mate. Why did you sell when you were still losing? You should have at least still hold a little bit.
For the reasoning, if you're specifically aiming for bitcoin, it's just Bitcoin being Bitcoin. I heard that it has any relations with the Ukraine war that's why it is getting a dip lately.
For altcoins, it's just that some altcoins tend to follow Bitcoin's price correction.
You should not be selling this time OP as the price is still not seen having a good price increase. And this will not be possible this time due to the current war that is affecting the crypto and stocks market. Its better to hold your altcoins for now along with bitcoin because i am pretty sure once the war ended, things will be back to normal. Just be more patient OP, crypto prices will start to surge if there are no negative events happening around that will  trigger the crypto market.
2833  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Words of advice on: February 26, 2022, 08:35:44 PM
If possible you don't need to share with people what you have of course imagine having a lot of bitcoins and spreading out this for sure many people would like to get that from you like giving links just to get your information always take care no one is safe in the cyberspace. As possible become a low key person only. Just shows up your achievement but not your money. There are a lot of scammers everywhere just to get your funds.
Well, there are some people who are fond of such thing, they always let people know how much they have and everything that they are into. They never keep quiet, they just make it obvious for everyone to know, and that automatically makes them a target for anyone who would have something in mind against.

Telling people how much you have in your crypto wallet is just as telling them how much that you have stored in your bank account which is very bad. Things like these are best to be kept secret and not revealed to anyone, except maybe your family that you can trust.
As long as money is involved, that will instantly gain the attention of the crowd. Particularly for those scammers who are always looking for target so they can make money from it. So its always safe to remain a lowkey person and never boast to anyone about your achievements so as not to make people envy on you. Especially when it comes to crypto. Because that means a huge amount so if you share to everyone that you have that in your wallet, that will make your life not safe from the people around as they won't stop if they cannot steal what you have.
2834  Economy / Economics / Re: Your opinion on side jobs on: February 26, 2022, 08:00:42 PM
As long as it doesn't hinder your main line of work then you're good to go and if it doesn't consume a lot of time and it doesn't feel like another job at all then you're probably alright continuing that said side job but if those are the opposite of my criteria then it's probably time for you to stop doing it or if it's paying really well then you need to quit your main work and focus your efforts in that side job and work your way to making it your new career.
Nowadays, where people are already used in multi tasking, we can engage in two or three jobs aside from our own main job. As long as you get to manage your time and you are able to make a good income out of those jobs, that will be very fine. In some cases, side jobs even create a better opportunity to give us a bigger compensation compared to our main job. This is the reason why some people leave their main job so they can maximize their income through making those side jobs as their main job and main source of living.
2835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banning Bitcoin is Like Banning the Internet, Says Russia’s Finance Minister on: February 26, 2022, 07:37:41 PM
nothing new with what the Russian finance minister said, people who have been in bitcoin for a long time, have realized that first. Bitcoin has spread to become unstoppable, those who say bitcoin can be banned are just saying fantasy.
Some countries have decide to ban bitcoin in their places but they always come unsuccessful. Because you cannot ban a certain once it has already become inevitable. So in case of bitcoin, banning would be very impossible, its better to regulate it.

"The solution lies in regulating, not banning, Anton Siluanov told officials at the central bank. This would not only protect investors, it would also ensure that the country doesn’t lose out on millions in taxes from the burgeoning industry," he believes. 2836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: February 26, 2022, 05:49:19 AM
He's fast and with power punch but I'm not impressed I checked highlights of his fights on Youtube heavier version of Plant and we have seen how Canelo beat Plant methodically that's likely going to happen here against Bivol because from what I saw he is not good defensively, to beat Canelo you have to be good defensively like Mayweather.
Canelo will surely find a way to beat Bivol, he already fought a lot of champions and he always wins, except on Mayweather's fight. Canelo being a slow starter is his best strategy to study how to beat his opponent, so whoever will be his opponent at the current stage, I think Canelo is still hard to beat.

I'm not familiar with Dmitry Bivol, I will also check some of his fight highlights and see if he can stand until 12 rounds against Canelo.
2837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 26, 2022, 04:53:06 AM
January 9th. That was the last time the Phoenix Suns lost in their home and now against the Pelicans. Not having Chris Paul put a big toll on them.
With no one to bring back their composure at both ends of the floor, they will be having a difficult time winning their games.
Booker is trying too much, I think he needs to trust his teammates more like what CP3 does. "Ball hog" that's what I saw as I watched the game and they are not that type of a team because they mostly rely on rotation and transition plays. The number of fouls should also be controlled.
33/41 Free throws made by the Pelicans because of the high number of fouls made by the Suns.

Just remember that it was CP3 who made the team better, without him the team will really struggle. Give them time to reflect on their mistakes, for sure they'll bounce back in their next game as the Suns overall are still a great team, fun to watch and my 2nd favorite in the West.
2838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price goes down as Russia begins Ukraine invasion on: February 25, 2022, 09:32:21 PM
We can't always avoid such economic consequences, which leads to holders selling their assets, particularly those in Russia and Ukraine. I have no idea how long this war has lasted, and I'm scared that the longer it goes on, the more dumps there will be. But I'll keep myself prepared for whatever comes next, and I'll hang on to it until it's needed. Russia is, without a doubt, the largest country in the globe, not just in Europe. However, BTC, as well as ETH and other cryptocurrencies, has just risen past $38,000. It's terrible that this situation has escalated.
It's good that bitcoin has managed to increase despite of the world crisis that we are facing now, and this war between Russia and Ukraine could have made it worst. But i'm not losing hope as everything will come to an end in due time. The low crypto market will eventually regain its value after those investors who chose to sell their coins due to the effect of the current war, will buy back again in time. In fact, not only crypto that is affected right now, the value of US dollar tends to create price fluctuations too from its steady move, as well as those stocks market.
2839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: February 24, 2022, 04:14:48 PM
Tagoe is not an A fighter but his record is good.
Record is nothing if he is not fighting a class A fighter, if he will fight Garcia, he will be just like an amateur boxer trying to beat a pro. I don't want to say a lot as I don't want to underestimate Tagoe, but hopefully we will see an entertaining fight although Garcia is expected to win here.

Some said that this fight is just a cherry pick fight by Garcia, so let's see if it's really true.

Just like most of you here, it's also my first time to hear the name Tagoe in boxing, so I was surprised that a popular Ryan Garcia did not choose a popular boxer as well so they'll be able to sell their fight and gain a good amount from PPV and especially from the gate entrance.

Hopefully, our expectation is wrong, and Tagoe will be able to be very competitive.
2840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Martinez - Feb 26, 2022 on: February 24, 2022, 03:52:42 PM

And as expected, Jerwin is the favorite to win 1.16, Fernando Martinez 5.20.

Seriously? I can't believe that Ancajas is heavily favored here with that kind of odds, I think it will be around 1.50 and below, but that is too low, I mean who would take 1.16? It's not even a sure win IMO.

By the way, what sportsbook is your basis for the odds?

Actually 1.15 at sportsbet.

There are no alternative lines now, only the Moneyline, you can get 1.15 for Ancajas while 5.20 for Martinez.
Check it here;
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/boxing/international/international-matchups/ancajas-jerwin-vs-martinez-fernando-6216379dd2eeb928bac23cb4

Most probably the complete listing of betting odds will be out by Saturday. Not too long to wait though, just have a little patient so you'll be able to get a good odds if you are backing Ancajas to win, ML is not a good bet if you don't put a decent amount, go for the per round winning or KO by Ancajas.

stake also has the odds available too, https://stake.com/sports/boxing/international/international-matchups/42516370-ancajas-jerwin-martinez-fernando

but 1.15 is better than 1.13 at stake.
