2821  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19 vaccination becoming a criteria to live in the world on: September 12, 2021, 06:41:21 AM
The vaccination discrimination was pretty much expected.
I don't trust the vaccines(I'm not anti-vaxxer),but if the government forces me to vaccinate,I will have to do it.The vaccines have to be tested for at least 10 years to ensure that there aren't any long term side effects.
I'm glad that there's no such thing as vaccination discrimination in the country where I live and the vaccination here will remain voluntary.I've had COVID symptoms back in March,so I guess that I have natural immunity for a while.
I don't believe that non-vaccinated people will be stopped from buying and selling. This is a violation of basic human rights.
2822  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling license on: September 12, 2021, 06:23:24 AM
Basically, it's on what country where you base for your business if you want to get a business license together with the gambling license.

I just don't exactly know if there's something renting business license for gambling, if there is probably it's an illegal to start with (correct me if I'm wrong though).

I'm not an expert,but here's my 2 cents.
Most crypto casinos have gambling licenses from Curacao, but they operate globally and have customers from all around the world.I don't think that those crypto casinos are based in Curacao, their owners, developers and employees aren't from Curacao for sure. The servers of those crypto casinos most likely aren't located in Curacao as well. They just buy a gambling license from Curacao, because it's cheaper and easier to get and
there are less restrictions in the license.
Basically renting and/or selling a gambling license should be considered illegal, but I'm not aware of the gambling regulations in offshore jurisdictions like Curacao or Malta.
2823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Starbucks, McDonald’s, and Pizza accept BTC on: September 12, 2021, 06:02:24 AM
This news must serve as a proof about how easy it is for companies to accept Bitcoin.
For years it was considered difficult and expensive for companies and business owners to adopt Bitcoin for payments. Now,the myth is busted.
The main factor which stops companies to accept BTC payments is the regulatory frame and hostility of the governments, who don't want Bitcoin to compete with their national currencies as a legal tender.
In many countries Bitcoin will still be viewed as an investment/speculation asset, mostly due to the regulations, while in El Salvador,Bitcoin will return to it's main function-being a currency for retail payments.
2824  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where can I sell my crypto gambling account? on: September 10, 2021, 10:50:40 AM
Where can I sell crypto gambling accounts?
I have two accounts, one is BC.GAME VIP level 30 account and the other is Betfury.io level 6 account

Selling accounts is against the terms of service of those website,so the buyers might get banned eventually.
Why would want to sell those accounts?
If you have a Betfury account with enough tokens, you could just stake the tokens and receive dividends.
What is the benefit for the buyer from buying such accounts?Having a higher level doesn't mean anything,if you ask me.
2825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: September 10, 2021, 07:17:45 AM
Some used to pacify themselves with the term it is their fate to loss in gambling. Some say it is the lack of control that makes them loss big. Here I'm taking this into discussion relative to the game - Dice.

Same as this some used to mention winning as fate and some term the same as luck. I believe win out of dice is trick, and right exit strategy.

What is the truth in this regard, because users like me are always go lack of control even when luck is on our side. End of the day used to pacify thyself terming it as our fate and move on. Hope you guys don't do this mistake. Cry Cry

I guess that by "fate" you mean luck.I think that fate is a little bit different term, which means that it is your destiny to win or lose.I don't believe in destiny and determinism. Our actions and decisions are what determines our lives, not some imaginative thing called 'destiny' or 'fate'.
In gambling you have to learn how to control your luck. This means that you have to leave the game and walk away, when you don't have luck.On the other hand, you have to get as much profit as possible, when luck is on your side.
2826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good News: Ukraine has legalized Bitcoin on: September 10, 2021, 07:00:23 AM
Yeah. its true. Yesterday, the Ukrainian Parliament passed a law that legalizes and regulates bitcoin in the country. The bill drafted in 2020 passed with a total of 276 lawmakers supporting the law, and only six against it. This bill gives the citizens “permission” to own and trade bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on exchanges. Btw, Ukraine GDP $153.8 billion USD vs El slavador is only $27 billion

We are growing fast!

The Ukrainian GDP doesn't matter and the El Salvadorian GDP doesn't matter as well.
The good news is that Bitcoin gets legalized in many countries,as a legal tender or as an investment asset.
That doesn't mean that the majority of the Ukrainians and El Salvadorians will start using Bitcoin immediately.
There's still a long way to for us achieve mass BTC adoption.
It's funny how the government "gives permission" to it's citizens to own something.Bitcoin was already a thing in Ukraine, before the government's decision to "give permission" to it's citizens to own Bitcoins.
2827  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far can bitcoin price correction go? on: September 09, 2021, 11:10:24 AM
Why are you asking?
If you want to HODL,then just HODL and don't bother about the price.
If you want to sell then just sell.If the price keeps going down, then you've made a profit and you could buy BTC at a lower cost.If the price goes up after you sold, then you've made a loss, but losing money is a part of trading.I don't believe that the price will go up.This 52K price pump was probably just a price bubble, caused by some crypto whales or the hype around El Salvador.
2828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you want NON KYC coin on: September 09, 2021, 10:45:01 AM
Just interested to hear people's reasoning for wanting NON-KYC bitcoin.  Im guessing its so that one can deny ownership from "the man"

Probably so they don’t have to pay taxes on profits. I know that I would love to avoid paying tax on bitcoin when I sell. I’ve been HODLING many coins for over 7 years, it doesn’t feel fair that I should have to pay 20% tax on profits.

Taxes aren't fair, but we have to pay them. Sad
If you hate capital gains tax, then you should've moved to a country that doesn't have capital gains tax.
I don't see anyone wanting a non-KYC Bitcoin.KYC is the "price" we have to pay,in order to witness mass Bitcoin/crypto adoption. All financial services require KYC verification-opening a bank account or FOREX trading account, applying for a credit card, etc. The crypto industry isn't more privileged than the traditional finance industry. The rules are for everyone.
What do you mean by "deny ownership from the man"?Can you elaborate more on this?
2829  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 The Best Crypto Gambling Sites! 🔥 on: September 09, 2021, 06:08:24 AM
Welcome to Best Crypto Gambling Sites!

Nice to meet you Smiley Best Crypto Gambling Sites is dedicated to bringing you only the best from top crypto gambling sites, crypto gambling bonuses, crypto gambling games all the way through to some comprehensive crypto guides.

If you have any suggestions or input regarding our lists - please drop it below!

Take a look at our newly built website: https://www.bestcryptogamblingsites.com/

There's a thing with crypto gambling review sites,which I don't get.
OP,what do you expect by a placing a link to your website in this particular forum thread?
Do you expect web traffic and visitors that will convert into customers?
You a promoting a crypto casino review website in a forum, which is full of crypto casino reviews,so the people here don't need to a visit a website,in order to see reviews about the best crypto casinos. The forum is full with announcement threads about crypto casinos, where the Bitcointalk members can leave genuine reviews.
The idea of promoting such review website on this forum doesn't make any sense to me.
I know that your website is created for the sake of getting referral/affiliate commissions and most of your reviews are biased.
Anyway, good luck with your review website.
2830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shall We Hold Our Bitcoin Like Gollum? on: September 09, 2021, 05:42:52 AM
Quote
Many of us are hoarding more Bitcoins over time. That is also the reason why Bitcoin dropped sharply on exchanges
transactions in the past few years.

This is one of the reasons. Many people got disappointed by the crypto exchange platforms, due to hacks, exit scams and high fees,so they left those platforms.
You don't need a crypto exchange platform,in order to keep your Bitcoins safe.I cold wallet is enough.
I used to be a fanatic HODLer before, but I realized that HODLing BTC just for the sake HODLing is pointless.
It's OK to sell a part of your BTC,when the market is heading towards a bear phase.
The centralized Crypto exchanges having less Bitcoins is actually a good thing.
2831  Economy / Gambling / Re: Tothemoon.casino: List of Crypto Casino’s with Live MoonTravel/BTC Calc. 🚀🌕 on: September 08, 2021, 11:46:02 AM
Hi,I like the website design.Nothing too flashy or distracting, which is good.
Do you have any search engine optimization strategy to help rank this website higher on the search engines(predominantly Google)?Or maybe you will rely on social media and forum promotion to gain more web traffic?
Perhaps you could ask owners of some crypto casinos to place a backlink of your website on their online casinos,in exchange of an honest review.
I remember that SEO for gambling websites was a little bit different than the regular SEO.The quantity of the backlinks was more important than the quality.Perhaps things have changed and I will have to update my SEO knowledge.
2832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is Trending on Twitter on: September 08, 2021, 11:24:33 AM
Is this even good news?Twitter is the worst social network, even worse than Facebook.
I don't get it why so many crypto users and crypto companies are so focused on this social network?
Oops, probably because of Jack Dorsey. Grin I get it now...
Despite the fact that Jack Dorsey is the biggest Bitcoin supporter(or one of the biggest),I still can't stand Twitter. Grin I've deleted my Twitter account back in 2013 and I won't be coming back.
I guess that #Bitcoin was a trending hashtag on Twitter mostly because of the El Salvador adoption as a legal tender. There's no other explanation.
2833  Economy / Economics / Re: @Deloitte: "The fiat currency will be gone in 5 to 10 years". on: September 08, 2021, 06:04:11 AM
Digital finance doesn't necessarily mean cryptocurrencies.
Digital fiat money, like the money we have in our PayPal accounts will continue to exist in the next decades.
The global elite is pushing the global economy towards a cashless society, and this process doesn't necessarily mean that cryptocurrencies will dominate global finance.I don't consider CBDCs to be cryptocurrencies.
This survey is kinda made up.They are asking expert in digital finance.Or course that digital finance experts will predict a future without fiat money. They are pretty much biased.
2834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Setting up a gambling business on: September 08, 2021, 05:41:49 AM
Am beginning to pick interest in gambling but I don't have any computer code knowledge but will love to operate a gambling site and will like to get some advice from the members of this forum, I have the capital to run the business until it starts making profits.

Creating an online casino that will look exactly the same as 100 other online casinos won't do the work.
You will have to find a way to stand out of the crowd and be creative and original.
It's not about webdesign and how the website will look.I'm talking about website functionality, having interesting games and being honest to your customers.
You would need a big marketing/advertising budget and some bonuses going on,so you could gather more customers in the beginning.Security is also a big issue.
Crypto gambling is not like offline gambling, the casino isn't guaranteed to make profits, mostly because the competition is furious.
2835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador official wallet app @chivowallet go offline on: September 08, 2021, 05:15:01 AM
Today marked the history of Bitcoin becoming a legal tender, El Salvador a country in north-central America has become the first country to approve the operation and acceptance of Bitcoin as a legal currency.

The government wallet App chivowallet got overloaded in the early hours, which resulted in it going offline citizens are having miss feeling about the stability of the app and the El Salvador economy.

Online apps, websites and platforms created by a government usually face hacker attacks and servers being overloaded.I hope that everything will be fine with the Chivowallet app in the next few days.
Bitcoin adoption in El Salvador isn't going to be flawless and problems will occur, but the important news is that BTC adoption cannot be stopped in the long term.Let's pray for other countries making Bitcoin a legal tender.
Bitcoin should be the currency of the people, not a speculation tool for the rich crypto whales and institutional investors.
2836  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How to leave KYC for good on: September 07, 2021, 11:54:48 AM

The idea is that things can change in the future and even though everything's fine right now for you, it's possible that e.g. if Bitcoin is banned in your country in the future, it's possible for authorities to obtain info about how much coin you bought on KYC exchanges, knock on your door and asking for those Bitcoins.

XKCD 538 kind of way:
https://xkcd.com/538/

In that instance, mixing doesn't help you. It would be more helpful to have a way to prove you don't own them (e.g. sold on exchange or exchanged for some goods).

But why would the authorities ban Bitcoin and then try to confiscate Bitcoins from the people?
This doesn't make any sense to me.This is basically stealing financial assets from the population.
If the authorities end up knocking at my door asking for my Bitcoins,I will tell them that I have sold everything, even though such case scenario is highly unlikely to happen.I wonder how they will prove me wrong. Grin
OP,the whole topic seems a little bit paranoiac.Trying to be anonymous and to use mixer means that you want to hide something-your income and your wealth, which looks always suspicious in the eyes of the authorities.
They might assume that you are conducting tax evasion or other financial crimes
2837  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you notice how corporations took over the internet ? on: September 07, 2021, 11:27:45 AM
Those big corporations are dominating the internet because they have created products, which are convenient,user-friendly and simply better than the products that were made by their competition.
If you don't like Microsoft,Amazon,Google(Youtube) and Facebook(Instagram) just don't use them.
Nobody is forcing you to use those platforms and products.
The companies are working for profits. They aren't non-profit charity organizations.
Nobody is saying that the tech giants are perfect. They are far away from being perfect, but nothing better has been invented so far.
I don't like the overall "the good old days were better" type of nostalgic whining.
Bitcoin didn't change that much during the last 11 years. The only thing that changed is the Bitcoin price.
We should adapt to the changes, instead of whining about the "good old days".

2838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next Country to accept bitcoins is legal tender? on: September 07, 2021, 06:24:19 AM
Next Country to accept bitcoins is legal tender will be   BLANK?   Serbia.

I guess that the next coutnry to accept Bitcoin as a legal tender will be a country from Latin America,Asia or Africa.Underdeveloped countries would want to adopt a currency, that is more stable than their national currencies and a financial asset, that is widely adopted worldwide.
What makes you think that Serbia is the next country to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender?I know that many Serbians are active in the crypto world, the Serbian local forum in Bitcointalk is pretty active and lots of crypto businesses were launched by Serbians.
However,I think that Serbia won't accept BTC as a legal tender, because the Serbian national currency is stable enough and Serbia doesn't have the problem, which El Salvador has-lots of people not having access to banking services
2839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying $30 in Bitcoin on Tuesday! For El Salvador and for Bitcoin on: September 07, 2021, 05:58:57 AM
I don't get the point of this idea. This is more like a silly BTC price pump attempt, rather than showing support.
Do you really think that buying 30USD worth of BTC for yourself is "showing support and solidarity to the people of El Salvador"?
This is more like buying yourself a hamburger for the whole purpose of showing support and solidarity to all the people around the world, who are starving. Sad
A better idea would be sending 30USD worth of Bitcoins to person in El Salvador, who is actually using Bitcoin.
I know that this idea will turn into scam, because too many people will try to abuse it,but at least we will be helping some people.
2840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Second largest German investment company invests in Bitcoin from Q4 2021 on: September 06, 2021, 11:15:59 AM
What the hell is a "Bitcoin certificate"?Are they buying actual Bitcoins or not?
Is this another shitty Bitcoin derivative, like Bitcoin futures or some other financial assets, which are(or claim to be) backed by Bitcoin? Are these Bitcoin certificates a proof of ownership?
Anyway,it's good to know that another big institutional investor seems to be interested in Bitcoin.
Maybe Germany will become more Bitcoin friendly in the future.
I want more bullish news in September and the upcoming months. The FUD media must shut up for a while.

Edit:The guy above me posted the same question 10 seconds before me,while I was writing my post. Grin
Damn it I'm not fast enough. Angry
