Let this technology achieved by the hands of youngsters (well, a sample of Zuckerberg for his upcoming coin), let the old ones decide what they believe into their traditional investments.
2822  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Another freewallet scam on: September 21, 2019, 04:38:58 PM
I always thought why people still use their service besides their lack of support and reputation, well they don't have to begin with.

they never even sent the eos to exchange and gave me a fake hash to go with it then for hour support is telling me there working on it then just stopped replying the exchange  shows failed yet they never returned  my coins https://freewallet.org/tx/1e2c6266-b7dd-6cd1-3a35-524fbc92aecb

2823  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware Phising Sites Fake Dogechain on: September 21, 2019, 02:31:13 PM
Is https://dogechain.info the official website of  dogecoin Or is that another Altcoin with dogecoin sounding name? Hope this is not an attempt to make your readers think you are promoting the actual dogecoin website. Main dogecoin website is most likely dogecoin.com. I got that here: https://mobile.twitter.com/dogecoin?lang=en
Dogechain is the official blockexplorer of dogecoin, while they integrated wallet which is a web and redeem paper wallet? Don't know how it works though. And yeah, the .COM domain is the official website of this alt.

And yeah, no doubts, the .ORG domain is a phishing site, they have only working login function while the create wallet and redeem paper wallet does not work.

Agree, I have explored the dogechain.org site, can only be clicked on the "Login" menu only, meanwhile, if we click the "back to explorer" menu,  will be directed to dogechain.info
You can create a report issue on metamask github page https://github.com/MetaMask/metamask-extension/issues so it will be filtered as phishing once a user browses the site with metamask installed on their browser.

Also, please move this thread to Scam accusation since this thread fits there instead of a bitcoin discussion board. There's a control move topic in the lower left of the thread.

2825  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet..Paypal..No Bank Account on: September 20, 2019, 06:46:52 PM
What I need help with does anyone know of an online wallet that I can set up with no bank account and have my PayPal account (debit card) tied in to that wallet so that I can make withdrawals on my PayPal card? This may be something that cannot be done? I do not know? If anyone can give me some inside I would greatly appreciate this!
Never heard about some wallet or any exchange that did that, all I knew is coinbase connected with paypal for withdrawal only if I'm correct but they ask some personal info, much probably they ask bank account as well.
If really.want to do that, I suggest to make a p2p transaction like what mentioned above and just install your own wallet, desktop or hardware (recommended), don't use any webwallet if you have a decent amount in your wallet.

2827  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BitcoinCast sent wrongly to BTC on Coinbase on: September 18, 2019, 02:30:58 PM
I don't use Coinbase, but is it possible that someone sends BCH to BTC (BCH address with BTC withdrawal)using Coinbase? Is it possible that a famous platform does not verify/check the address?
I guess devs will get a hard time to make that happen since BCH has its legacy address which has corresponding of BTC wallet addy.

It will only possible if they (coinbase or any wallet) will let their users send BCH, using only their unique cashAddr, which wallet that starts "q" (e.g qqpva0kl3tqpxzlt7f56s07mc6ejh6n0pyxznp27up).

And sending BCH to BTC or vice versa is possible as of now.

Amount is not big its around 800 or 900 USD equivalent.
That's a decent amount still, it can be earned for how many months even by stable job. I suggest to contact their support in any means—using their social media account, twitter handle, subreddit, facebook page.
2828  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BitcoinCast sent wrongly to BTC on Coinbase on: September 17, 2019, 06:51:26 PM
is there a way to get it back ?

Yes, possible. As long as your friend has access the private key of the receiving bitcoin wallet address where he sent the BCH.

He can export the private key of the bitcoin wallet address and import it on electrum, there he can access his funds again.

But if he's using an exchange or any custodial wallets, there he must message their customer support and explain what had happened, and request to refund/get back what he had sent wrong coins there, but its easier said than done because the team will sometimes demand for a fee for the recovery of those coins.

2830  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a job service on: September 15, 2019, 11:54:20 PM
If you want to have a job on your city or place on your location, you can try to search on job listings on your country, or even on your local employment service office, not here...
2831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $2 Billion Lost in Mt. Gox Bitcoin Hack Can Be Recovered, Lawyer Claims on: September 15, 2019, 11:42:21 PM
I would partially believe if they will mention that they make the refund in $ equivalent in lost BTC. But if they will push people to believe that they will recover the lost BTC to make a refund? Nah, enough for this, its impossible.

But if they get refunded but
Isn't it cringey to feel that they want to take half of your Bitcoin if returned?
Must be better than nothing, but if it's me, ofc I want 60-70% of my lost funds will be refunded.

I-assume ko na rin na ok ba ang coins pro ngayon? Kamusta ang withdrawals, back to instant na ba.
So far, nagkaka aberya ang coins pro pag tumataas ang price na medjo hindi stable, since parang stable BTC now, I'm sure okay system nila.
2834  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: tell us 3 mistakes you do when you start trading on: September 15, 2019, 07:56:18 PM
"oh shit' i'm already at a loss, I won't sell now and wait for it to recover, it can't be much worse" And then they go -10% and it just makes them more and more miserable until the breaking point comes.
Most traders experienced this until they lost too much and on most new newbie traders gave up because of this.

Well, I experienced that too, most often, that's why when I buy it should be for a long term, well just hodl.
2835  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Fake Sellers Who? on: September 15, 2019, 07:50:09 PM

You can create your ann thread on service announcement board in which your users will go there to report and write their issues regarding your services—which is skeptical in my thoughts.
2836  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: {Warning}: Simjacker – Next Generation Spying Over Mobile Phone on: September 15, 2019, 07:29:35 PM
if there are already victims with this kind of attack?.
Probably there is, as mentioned in some reports related to this, that the malware has been used to spy people already for 2 years. Though I see no reports that the main cause of hacking is this simjacker, but it possibly one of those strategy they used to access some important details of their victims.
2837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AMAZON IS A THREAT ON FACEBOOK'S LIBRA on: September 15, 2019, 07:08:30 PM
They still don't have their own coin to become a threat against Libra Coin,
Well, US or EU or any central regulations aspects still say no to libra. So, there's still no threat between any tech giant regarding crypto adoption. But even both companies join the bandwagon it will still be a great news for the community..
2838  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [NEWS] 5th Richest bitcoin wallet. on: September 15, 2019, 05:50:24 PM
Ang mga posiblen may hawak nito ay mga exchanges lang or mismong si satoshi nakamoto or hindi impossibleng ang may ari nasa dark market?
Lesser chance na from exchange wallet yan. Kung kay satoshi mn, mas malaki chance na hindi sa kanya yan, why? di mag iipon si satoshi ng napakaraming dust inputs, maniniwala pa ako if tig 1 btc yung inputs.

2840  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [NEWS] 5th Richest bitcoin wallet. on: September 15, 2019, 03:34:25 PM
Probably yung holder is madaming hawak na company if mag i-assume lalo na sa latest transaction ng btc address nato 18fyEQXaZQgCbNoE5Qjs6W7Pnqc9Yp4PQD that has a name na Human Rights Foundation, ano nga ba ang HRF?
Just guessing pero parang nag papansin lang ang may ari ng address na yan, in which sending dusts to those popular wallets like this will do, which has a blockchain tag na nasa pic.

Thoughts lang, parang personal wallet yan, kase if from exchanges to, then it came from those huge ones, which most exchanges wallet address ay tracked lalo na ng whale alert and its unknown address base sa whale alert.
