Honestly, the culprit is the 1 Bitcoin prize if they are only paying 30 post daily people will just stop after the 30 posts
Right, because 30 posts a day every day is absolutely fine, and definitely not spamming. Roll Eyes

Its like owning a billboard on the road and someone with a super shitty product paying me to place an ad.
It's not like some anonymous billboard at all, because you are attaching it to your name, all your posts, your online persona, your reputation. You, and everybody else wearing a signature ad (myself included), are essentially vouching for what they are advertising. You are staking your reputation on it, which is why the campaigns which pay the most attract the users with some of the best reputations.

Do you really want to sully your name by associating it with a scammy exchange and a forum full of spammers and plagiarizers?

I think this is not a fair observation for the participants who are advertising the cryptotalk.org signature.
No one is perfect from the beginning and this site campaign is only 11 days old.  Although they started off with some offers which may promote spam but with the passage of time , they may change the rules and bring more moderation. But on the other hand they also had to increase their site traffic too and maybe they could not thought of a better way to start with.

Here is the alexa rating of their site which is few days old.

Maybe they didn't expected people to spam as much as they are doing it now at cryptotalk. Mods realize this and they are making efforts to clean the spam.Although it will take time considering again its only 10 days old. Consider in this bitcointalk we are still fighting the spam.

Here is another snip which shows mods determination to make it a better forum.

I have not seen any evidence or announcement that Yobit is associated with cryptotalk.

TillKoeln - spam/burstposting 1 liner trash

Surprising to see this.

For a user claiming to be the owner/operator of an exchange, why on earth would anybody in that position sign up to the cryptotalk signature campaign instead of spreading the word for their own exchange? I always thought there was something not right about that exchange.

It is important for users to know who to take to court and who to serve litigation documents if/when any scamming takes place so until they add contact and ownership details on their website, I would advise all to stay well away from this exchange and all others like it that hide behind anonymity and secrecy themselves but can ask users for KYC under the guise of AML laws when they like.

https://www.unnamed.exchange/Home/Terms

Nice finding but its better to post your views about this exchange in Service Discussions or Scam Accusations sections because only then more people will come to know about it.
Lets keep this thread only for the participants who are banned from this campaign.

The guy(girl), heck maybe it's the whole family is averaging 100 posts per day, that's almost what I've done in 3 weeks here  Shocked
As for the quality..or the lack of it..enjoy:

He is the founder of that foum, there are many stop there and admin is theymos. THere are legendary staff and moderators who maintain the forum. There are also DT1 and DT2 who put users account at negative trust!

This makes me think why there is police and law n order department in every department & country.

If there is no or little moderation, this type of things will popup.  CryptoTalk should revise their campaign terms on their site and make some strict rules else it will ruin their purpose.
2824  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: October 07, 2019, 11:14:57 AM
Can I get free Lamborghini without risking losing anything?

Nope, you must wager at least 0.005 BTC to get 1 golden ticket, buy one or deposit 0.05 BTC.
You can get 1 free Golden ticket for every 0.05 BTC you deposit. As you don't have to wager that, so the tickets you get are free tickets.
By the way, this opportunity is not always available.

So one golden ticket will cost you 0.05 BTC which is roughly 400 dollars. This is not a small amount and i do not think one ticket is enough to win a Lamborghini. There may be whales who may use more than a BTC to get few tickets and this will make our chances close to zero. (Those who do not have much money to invest)
For me, getting Lamborghini from freebitco is a dream which may never come true.

Aside from the game im bit surprised that they arent emphasizing BCH on here.  Grin
~~

Maybe later they will allow only BCH but first they want to attract the gamblers too. If they start with BCH only, they would not find much people to their site.
That Ver guy is pretty wise on how to hook up people but i wont really be surprised if they would add BCH soon and this is just an initial payment option.
Aside from the game im bit surprised that they arent emphasizing BCH on here.  Grin
Maybe because deep inside he knows that his shitcoin is worthless and all crypto enthusiasts know that.
Creating a subdomain on bitcoin.com for gambling.. really!! it seems the only motive here is earning more money. My advise to all Bitcoin (the real Bitcoin) supporters is to stay away from this website.
Same thoughts and views where i dont even tend to touch this gambling site with a 10-foot pole. After all the years where Ver is trying to manipulate, derailing newbies
between BTC and BCH trash - i dont already have the trust to this guy.

For a moment just forget about the who owns bitcoin.com and also forget about Roger Ver.  Since they are launching the gambling site, they will be giving a lot of promotions to attract the gamblers. Roger has a lot of money to make it successful. We should keep an eye on this site and watch out for the promotions which may be beneficial for us.
2826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 07, 2019, 10:00:11 AM
South Africa had no chance after losing early wickets, they couldn't put any partnerships together to even try and play for the draw. Ashwin has had an amazing career so far as in this match he tied with Muralitharan for the fastest to 350 wickets which took just 66 test matches. Could we see Ashwin overtake Muralitharan in the next 10 years? With the way he is bowling it wouldn't surprise me to see this happen.
South Africa is not a good team to perform that well in subcontinent wickets and Ashwin bowled really well in the first innings and Jadeja in the second innings but i was impressed with Mohammed Shami in the second innings where he was able to pick 5 wickets in a dead wicket in India and that too in the final day of the match is quite impressive, he was able to land the ball exactly in the cracks in the pitch and was able to extract the advantage and hence he was able to trouble all the batsman and that is how he was able to pick all the wickets is impressive.

I think Indian bowlers came back really strongly after the first innings and this helped them to clinch some quick wickets in second innings which actually helped India to win the test match . Else till 4th day second session match was heading towards the draw likely the way SA team batted in first innings was splendid .

It was mainly possible because of one Indian bowler "Mohammed Shami" who took 5 wickets along with RA Jadeja taking 4 wickets to wrap up the SA 2nd second innings and the match.
SA did play well in the first innings but didn't look comfortable in the 2nd innings. They need to focus on their bowling also because they cannot let India make 400+ runs as it gives too much pressure on their batsmen.

The 2nd Test is started on 10 October at Pune and the SA needs to rectify their mistakes and prepare for it.

I can't currently open a thread on cryptotalk regarding "1 post for 1000 satoshi" again, do you guys also experience it?

https://imgur.com/48Kfz2t

I think the admin is fixing this problem. apart from that, the member there created a thread about whether payment for each post was stopped? I think the admin needs to make a new regulation for that  Cheesy

this is the thread.

That thread is deleted and this means that all these signatures now point to invalid thread. Don't know whats going on there.
I do not see any announcement by the admins on CryptoTalk.
So Yoshit started shows their real colours? No admin will change the rules without announcement atleast they should locked that content instead of deleting the thread so it means no one is going to get paid from cryptotalk.

May I know what is the status of their campaign in bitcointalk, still active or closed?

I think one of the mod there is actively cleaning the spam threads and by mistake deleted the pay-per-post thread. This is what people are saying on that forum. No one complain about the payments, so i think the both campaigns are still active.
2828  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are there any crypto fund managers available.. on: October 06, 2019, 05:02:25 PM
Better to spend it on your own than trusting it to anyone especially here which is full of scammers. Also there's no assurance that they will give profit. Cryptocurrency market is very volatile as you can see. These so called portfolio managers or even cryptocurrency analysts can't predict it. So a piece of advice, don't trust any person with your money.

If you cannot handle your money and funds yourself, why would anyone else handle them with honesty.
Its better to develop enough skill in yourself to handle your money yourself.

Just hold some cryptocurrencies and sell them for higher price. That's called trading. It's better to play it yourself.

This is not trading and trading is not so simple. I have seen many people holding crypto and crying because their coins are dumping and their worth has become less. Even holding crypto especially the altcoins can be risky sometimes.

Even how constructive or good posted you are,you would just barely able to post 8-10 max but for this one is ridiculous.Good thing that its being fixed it out and people do really abuse the bug on the system.Just to ask, where you did you get that screenshot? Is it yours?

No that's not mine , do i look like to do 400 posts a day ?  Shocked
I was checking that forum and some one posted this screenshot so i was amazed to see that here if anyone does 20 posts a day is considered as spamming and there even 100+ a day is normal, because there are only two mods there and they cannot tackle all this stuff alone.

Nice catch, wondering who is the owner of this account, what is the name of this account and the UID? Let us find him.
Never imagine it could be possible for 400+ posts to be paid, I thought there is a rule that state only 30 posts will be paid.

No need to waste time on finding him. Even i saw a screen shot showing 700+ posts a day.

They have a contest of making highest post in a month and they will reward 1 BTC to the one who can make most posts

2831  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CryptoTalk started paying its users for posting. on: October 06, 2019, 06:55:52 AM
Don't think they care about that to be honest, they just want the fake attention and posts on the forum in order to get some advertising money, which is a fair route to take if they don't care about quality.

They have a different agenda and i am honestly not sure how this will work for them.
Taking the quality vs quantity thing further, see what i found there.

This is what happens when you have no one to control the spam  Angry

How can a person doing 200+ Posts in a day can be constructive ?

2832  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you look for in a gaming platform? - Bojoko Article on: October 06, 2019, 01:52:19 AM
1. Do you prefer my mobile gaming or desktop in online casinos? Why?

I would prefer both mobile and desktop version of the online gambling site. Sometimes i am on travel, and if i can access the gambling site through my mobile app, it will be really helpful. Although i can play through browser on mobile but it is not user friendly.

2. Does bitcoin casinos have similar standards are regulated online casinos regarding API's?

Any third party API which is created should pass through the standards so that there is no risk involve in them.

3. Does the platform actually matter to you?
Does not matter. The thing which matter me the most is the security , credibility and the simplicity of the site.

Well!! popular crypto expert john mcafee decided to launch a decentralised Exchange McAfeeDex.

Read here: McAfeeDex

What's your take on this?

If John McAfee ever launches any exchange, it can only be centralized one and not decentralized.  Cheesy

Will look to buy LocalBitcoins Account with +3 year trading history and have done trades of +BTC20

You must have known that Localbitcoins has made the localbitcoins KYC compulsory. So you are willing to buy KYC verified account or you will yourself be able to do the KYC.  It will not be safe for anyone to sell you KYC verified accounts.

winnings are already sent! I looked at the history of your game and I can say that you are not a “little mouse”, but a “sly fox”  Wink, and I am glad that you liked it and you were satisfied.
the site looks interesting, very fast response in my browser. but there is something I want to ask, just make sure.

whether the developer of this site has no plans in the future to add investment features because it seems like an investment feature is a great way to get the finances of business healthy.

You mean 2dice should have an investment scheme where we deposit funds to them and they pay us regular interest or dividend. I think you should not mix the gambling site with the investment site. Both of them are different in nature.
Personally i do not like investments sites. They are better suited to those who like to get passive income.

Are multiple apps available listed google play store what is a useful app easily safe private key? what is the best bitcoin app for mobile?

I do not trust the play store app because anyone can make a fake app and scam you.  iOS apps are still better as those are published after verification.
Bread wallet is the best iOS wallet but still do not store all of your money in phone wallets. They are subjected to risk and also can be stolen easily.
Although apple iphones are safe even if they are stolen because they have better security but its better we do not take any risk with our bitcoins.
2837  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't share your first email or KYC documents with every bounty or airdrop!!! on: October 05, 2019, 09:47:12 AM
I don't know how many of you have had the "pleasure" of working in technical support. I did and I can tell you that sending or not sending KYC is not the main problem. The big issue is sending KYC documents where they belong. I was in technical and there was a whole separate KYC department with a different email. The department was getting documents in a secure channel through a form in user's personal account but people did not care. They would send their IDs and other documents like utility bills everywhere, to every department and any email they could find on the site. They would even drop it in the chatbot window thinking that if they put it everywhere it will speed up the process.

Don't do it people. Don't be reckless with your documents. You don't know how valuable a genuine ID is and how easy it is to swap a picture.

When we submit the documents online, we do not know which department will receive them. usually every KYC has a similar process and if we are sending the documents we have to trust the site, else do not use it.
Example localbitcoins, made it mandatory KYC if we want to use that site. Now we have no option but to submit our KYC else quit the site.

There are many ways of verifying the identity of a person. The ICO, bounty and airdrops are collecting the personal identities illegally and selling them in the dark market.
That's why I'd rather talk to the bounty manager personally in a video call but never provide my personal documents.

Do we have a bounty manager, that accepts video call to verify or accept your KYC, I Have not found a bounty campaign that does that, some KYC is done, in the websites, bounty manager has nothing to do with verification of bounty participants, they have different team that does that, it's really not recommended to use your main email this is to avoid so many spam email, anyway you can always report these emails.

There are so many participants in a campaign and maybe 100+ in altcoin campaigns. Don't expect manager will be willing to do video call with all of them. However if they suspects an issue, video call is the good solution.

I also didn't know there's encryption option within Google's password manager.

While it might help you protect your password again hacker, but i doubt your password is safe against Google itself.

I'm also thinking the same way. I never saved my passwords on google at all. It is because google have many problems that's why I don't save my passwords in google. Just like their playstore letting those scammers to add their scam apps in there play store which is not good crypto enthusiast. Even though it's encrypted, I still don't want to save my password.

You can use KeyPass (https://keepass.info/), a local application to store all your passwords if you do not trust the online password manager like this google password manager.

My personal tip, use a brand new email for every new website you need to create an account with, if they require an email address. You can easily make one even using gmail and any old android phone.

We cannot use separate email for every website we register. First it will be hassle to create hundreds of emails as every email require you to verify it with the phone number and managing them is not an easy task. I personally have 3 email ids and they are enough for me.
2840  Other / Meta / Re: [TIPS] to avoid plagiarism on: October 04, 2019, 05:16:17 PM
Plagiarism is a crime and it is not only related to this forum. This is something which is not tolerable. Maybe in some countries you maybe fined or any other punishment if you are found in or violate the copyrights.
What makes me more surprised is that people know that their account will be permanently ban if they are  caught in plagiarism but they still do it. Either they are ignorant or they do think that no one will notice them.
Some users know about that rule but still do it while some users don't know about that rule till the days their accounts banned permanently due to their platgiarism in the past. But they both often appear with ban appeal and ask for forgiveness after deny their plagiarism at start. When proof shown by admin, moderators, forum users, and they are unable to deny their past plagiarism, they will turn into ask for forgiveness and second chance to jump out of grave.

I did not see any single example where a second chance is given for plagiarism here or do u have any such evidence  Shocked
