2821  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The 4 trading fears and how to overcome them on: February 06, 2023, 08:31:38 AM
It's human nature that we don't want to lose especially in money. That's why many are being stopped by that fear and they don't want to proceed because they're scared out by the risk that they've seen. But those that are wanting to pursue and are okay to look at themselves with failure and losses, they're the ones that are likely to succeed. It's a trial and error and they can learn from those failures that they'll meet along their trading journey, we understand that it's important to experience it or else we'll just stay where we are right now.
2822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US casinos set new record of revenue on 2022 on: February 06, 2023, 07:37:58 AM
It's no doubt that the gambling industry is a lucrative business because it isn't so, there wouldn't be those gambling capitals and states in different parts of the world.

Are cryptocurrency casinos experimenting the same kind of boom as fiat casinos?
Yes, we're seeing the booming industry of the crypto casinos and they've been there for how many years. If it's not profitable then the profitable ones won't be continuing with their operations up until now. But, what we see is that there have been new additions on this industry and as well as the known and old ones keeps on operating but there have been those that have been out of the business.
2823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 06, 2023, 06:29:40 AM
Yeah, he should perform well and be enough with the drama but I think that he'll go along with Luka and hopefully they'll have good chemistry.
And prior to this trade, it was a few moments and seconds for the Los Angeles Clippers to take him but then the Nets declined their offer.
Well, that's obvious as the trade of Dallas for them is much better than what LAC has offered for Kyrie. I can't wait to see how Kyrie will play with his new home.
Luka has needed some help for a couple of years now, but the mavericks paid a hefty price tag to obtain it. Let's hope the 2 superstars can get some sort of chemistry going fast. Going to be interesting to see how Luka can handle not being the go to guy any longer.
That's true, it's also been said for a long time that he really needs someone's help and there it goes through Kyrie. Hoping for the best of the two, and yes, it's really all about the chemistry because we've seen a team that's full of superstars but yet still didn't take any ring.
Chemistry is the key on their team and let's see how they'll be able to adjust to that and everyone is very optimistic with this addition for the Mavs.
2824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake paid promotions on Twitter on: February 06, 2023, 05:33:33 AM
I don't understand. Is it not a widely known fact that Tik-tok, instagram, youtube and Twitter influencers are getting paid for tweeting?
I am not sure if i am more surprised about the fact that his promotions are so cheap or that anyone listens financial advices from someone whose job is to be choked, kicked and hit in the head.
"Must be a financial genius. Take my money!"
Depends on the influence and following of the influencer. If they've got active engagements from hundreds of thousands up to millions of people then that's higher pay.
But it all depends on how much they're asking or how much the offer will be. That's going to be an offer that they won't reject especially if not that many sponsors are approaching them and asking to work for them. It's like a one time work so, they'll just plug it to their video and then all good. That's why many influencers are fooled and don't DYOR.
2825  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: February 05, 2023, 11:55:11 PM
Things are generally hard in most part of the world recently as inflation keep increasing but some people are still making their way to riches despite the inflation. If one studies his/her environment well, he/she can see something one can invest in and people can't do without.
Those people that are curious with inflation, they're the ones that are finding ways of combatting it. And the truth is, there are people that don't know what even is an inflation is.
And that's the sad part, many people from different nations are still far from that idea of having the majority to have an idea on what's happening with each economies that we're living in and that's one obstacle for an individual to achieve financial freedom, being lack of financial knowledge.
2826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 05, 2023, 11:30:45 PM
Well, look at the surprising news that we have. We thought that Iriving will be going with the Lakers but no, he'll go with the Dallas Mavericks helping Luka. The other details about the trade are on the article.

It is not that surprising since Mavs are one of the few teams named going after Kyrie when he announces he wanted a trade. But now that he is in Dallas, he should perform really well since there is no assurance of new contract yet coming from Mavs. It is still a one year rental for Kyrie at this point. Maybe the Mavericks are still assessing if they can handle the drama that comes with acquiring Kyrie into their roster. Hopefully, Kyrie x Luka will be a hit and they finishes strong this season.
Yeah, he should perform well and be enough with the drama but I think that he'll go along with Luka and hopefully they'll have good chemistry.

Yeah, if there will be another order then Donaire's camp just have to obey it, and also the other camp that has been placed and ordered to fight against him.
There's nothing much they can do and we as fans just also have to watch them and wait for further notice and decision for any camp that might be requested as contenders for that title.

For sure there will be another order from any of the governing body for Donaire to fight and held their belt.

Although if you look at the rankings, it should be Donaire (2) vs Nawaphon Sor. Rungvisai (3), but WBC can order as well like the winner of 4 vs 5 fighting the winner of that fight. So there are a lot of scenario's for WBC on how they are going to stake their belt since Inoue vacated it.

Hopefully it will just one fight that includes Donaire and then the winner fighting the rests of the rank player as they defend it next.
We just have to wait for that next order on who's going to be his match partner. I guess that Moloney was able to decline because he's not the immediate opponent that Donaire should have and he can be spared any punishment that the org might impose.
But anyway, enough with him as he has already expressed what he's going to do. As for Donaire winning the title, if there will be challengers then he has to defend his title IF ever he gets this vacated title.
2828  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Share Tips For Newbie Traders on: February 05, 2023, 09:46:36 PM
If for an individual trader, being alone sometimes is encouraging and boring. So you choose your battles when you're trading alone, maybe that's why some other folks are looking for a way to trade with a group but I don't think that's really a good idea.
Many people there might just take advantage of you if you're still new and will just give a blow of those coins that they'll suggest you to buy and then will just leave you hanging then.

Props to Mark Cuban for making this happen. You can always count on him to do something crazy. I look forward to reading more about the details of this deal and more so to the drama that come from it and how Mark Cuban chooses to handle it. I get the feeling he won’t put up with Kyrie’s nonsense and will be airing out their dirty laundry in public. If so, this could be news gold for a long time to come.
Yeah, he's the cool guy out there that made this deal happen. Luka x Kyrie, I have never thought that this is going to happen but hey, there it goes.
We might see the details of the trade soon and as in most stuff we want to know aside from who is the involved in this deal and mostly, how much the deal exactly is for his contract.
2830  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think will happen if... on: February 05, 2023, 08:43:18 PM
What do you think will happen to crypto if institutional investors all decide to stay away from crypto investment this time around? Do you think crypto can surge of it's own especially Bitcoin without the help of institutional investors money, do not yab me for this question, I am not sure what will happen I only need people's different opinions.
Definitely. Even without them, the market can continue to thrive. We can just look at the early days when almost no institutional investor was interested in buying any amount of bitcoin. But did it stop? No. The way that the institutional investors are doing it, they really are a big help but it doesn't mean that the market will always be reliant on them. So, even without their help, that only means that the market alone will survive and that's for real. Although we want them to be part of this market so that it will be quicker for its growth or they'll eventually join because on how they're going to see things with bitcoin.
2831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 05, 2023, 08:24:05 PM
That would be a great deal for the Lakers if that happens but usually, we get to see these trades that are favoring the team that will be left or traded for.
This is an exciting developing story and if the rumors are true then there's an increased chance for the Lakers to be seen continuing to play together with Lebron but, it's on them to do the deal.

What might be the offer that will earn the interest of Nets management, aside from they will release Kyrie and his drama I'm not sure if they will take WB alone, like what you mentioned.

The team will ask for something that will benefit them in order to release their assets,
unless that is okay with the trade offer, then maybe it will happen. Kyrie is asking for it
and the management will take a look at all the offers that they might get to every interested
teams.

2832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burning feature is not utility on: February 05, 2023, 07:52:40 PM
Why are newbies so obsessed with burning off part of a token supply?
It's because they think that whenever a project burns its supply, the price will certainly go up. But that's not really a guaranteed thing for all the projects.
The top ones are almost certain that the effect will be eventually good but for the others, it's not what they're anticipating to happen. And not just burning, also the same goes for halving. For bitcoin, halving is known to be one major drivers of price push but for the other altcoins, it's also not guaranteed.

Grin
2834  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: February 04, 2023, 04:23:30 AM

2835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big money bad for bitcoin in the long run on: February 04, 2023, 03:30:22 AM
As bitcoin continues on its current bullish path, all kinds of people are trying to ride this wave by buying any cheap coins they can get their hands on as they anticipate the next High to come. But the scary part about this is that Big money is also flowing into the crypto economy that will push price to easily register new highs, but this comes at a price, when these whales decide to take out their money.. markets bleed red which is why Big money is not good if volatility is to be controlled. In the long run Bitcoin is better off without the Big money, otherwise this becomes like a pyramid scheme always leaving the last man standing with empty pockets as the first guy to make a move gets all the accumulated $$$$.

What's the community's take on this?
Whether we like it or not, the market is free, and big and small money can come in and out from it. And that's why if there are huge players coming into the market, the demand rises and they're one of the factors as to why the price of bitcoin goes up.
We're just in the middle of it and just have to adapt the changes whatever they are. It's not actually bad if big money comes in, we all like it and that's inevitable, no matter what happens, there will be new comers that shall take part in the market.
2836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 03, 2023, 11:56:06 PM
^ Ya, that is crazy news that Kyrie has formally requested a trade with only a short time before the trade deadline. It isn’t totally unexpected though. KD hasn’t been healthy, Ben Simmons is a mess, and Kyrie wants to win championships. I think he needs LeBron. We’ll see what happens but I’m sure Lakers fans everywhere are hoping that a Kyrie for Westbrook trade happens. I can’t imagine it does for many reasons, but I’m not sure who is in a position to trade for Kyrie.
2837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Shiba inu get to $1 on: February 03, 2023, 11:22:59 PM
1 dollar par shib coin is not a realistic target for any crypto investor because of the price difference so high and if you buy and hold shib are any coin thinking about any of target like this you may dishart from market it gois up 200% but not to 1$ because of a very high supply of that crypto currency , The more supply of any coin the less price will be .
It's not realistic but there are investors that don't understand how tokenomics works. They're believing that someday it may happen they are not looking at the facts that it won't be.
Supply of it will determine the possibility and that's unlikely and those that think that it might happen soon because the market will ripen more for the next years to come, even if you say so, I wouldn't look at that day.
2838  Economy / Economics / Re: Can commodities return to its price last year? on: February 03, 2023, 10:53:41 PM
That's true since we've been now exposed to a pandemic and epidemics. We don't know if there will be one soon but that has to be expected since everything can really happen at this time. When fuel price increases, really everything gets hit roughly, and sad to look at how it affects all of it.
We may not really see the rollback for all of the prices for the commodities that we've used and like they say, this is a big hello to the "new normal".
Lets make ourselves just do accept on whats the real thing that we are facing now because this is always been the case and there's nothing we can do but to deal up with these mark up prices. There's no way

that it would really be going back into those prices that it was before. We aren't that blind not to make out comparison into those old years when it comes to value of commodities and services which it turns
out to be that a basic thing and this is why instead on making yourself that get stressed for those decreasing price. It would be better if you do find up ways on making more income
or profit so that you would be prepared for whatever things that we might face up ahead.
I'm just imagining that things might get back to usual as before but yeah, I'm letting that sink in on my mind that it's no longer the same and a lot of things have totally changed since then these crises have come. But I guess for our leaders, there can be ways to at least slow it down and not give a huge blow for everybody to mitigate the situation but if not, there's nothing we can really much do about it. I agree that finding other ways to make money is the only deal here even of how frugal your living is.
2839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 03, 2023, 10:26:38 PM
I don't like the idea of him picking the same race like having a fight against another Filipino who's also aiming for the belt. But who knows, this is boxing and the position is vacated so, they can have each others hand on line and pull it.

If that's how it will go, then no choice but to face each other. Besides, it's not really in Donaire's camp to decide who will be his next opponent.

For now, who's gonna be the one that will be put as a mandatory fighter to challenge the WBC Bantamweight is still in question.

Let's follow the progress of that story.
Yeah, if there will be another order then Donaire's camp just have to obey it, and also the other camp that has been placed and ordered to fight against him.
There's nothing much they can do and we as fans just also have to watch them and wait for further notice and decision for any camp that might be requested as contenders for that title.
