2821  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to accept BTC directly and integrate into an e-commerce site? on: June 13, 2019, 10:26:38 PM
I am sure this has been discussed in length.

I would like to understand the end to end process of accepting bitcoin on an e-commerce website without the need to use a third party exchange.

I am hoping there are some opensource code and information available on this, can anyone direct me to some good resources?

You can use themeforest/codecanyon or any envato's website where plugins and etc are available. Don't know how you can do that without 3rd parties but if you have some money and want to integrate btc payment on your website (which engine do you use?), I think you'll find a lot of needed not only bitcoin but also altcoin paymenth plugins/tools on that website which I stated above.
2822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From Janitor to Millionaire on: June 13, 2019, 01:08:22 PM
This was on the news this week on our local television. A man named Vito Halasan was won a 7M canadian dollars in a draw. He is already on late 50's and is currently working as a janitor and buy lottery tickets for the hope to have a better life. I dont think that this man is lucky but i consider him blessed. They say that gambling isnt the answer to poverty but this man becomes an exception knowing he deserved to won and i know its really for him.

“I buy lottery tickets so I can dream. I dream of being able to take care of my kids and make their future better. Now we’ll be able to buy a nice house for my children and grandchildren,” -  Vito Halasan

In every rule, there is an exception but we also should not compare his life to us. The universe wants to make him win because of some particular reasons. If you devote your money and time with gambling, you will end up with a life completely opposite to him. Hardwork and dedication is really the key.

Here's the link for complete article:
https://news.mb.com.ph/2019/05/29/filipino-janitor-wins-7-million-jackpot-in-canadian-lottery/
To be fair usually poor people play lotteries with the hope of winning millions and this situation isn't an exception.
Btw yeah, he is lucky because as you stated about poor and hard working man, there are a lot of people in his similar situation bu doesn't win so this man is lucky.
SirLancelot
There are a lot of people who try like him but not everyone wins, I have no idea how you can't call it a luck.
2823  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for someone who knows wordpress on: June 12, 2019, 09:58:15 PM
I can do all of this but I am kind of irritated regarding "not looking for someone to take $50 for this"... ?! I mean, what are you willing to pay for then?
Let's talk in more details what I want and then we can negotiate. PM me your telegram.
2824  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking For Crypto Dice Game Developer on: June 12, 2019, 08:54:37 PM
Really great domain, if you can list that on namecheap, then do it and your domain will be included in premium ones. Another way is to popularize your website and get money from parking website.
I just suggested you another selling/income methods, if you don't mind. On another hand wish you success in selling your domain because it's really great.

2826  Economy / Economics / Re: Jobs Created by the Blockchain & Bitcoin on: June 12, 2019, 05:59:41 PM
Cointelegraph's job section is full of jobs related to blockchain technologies. Can't say that BC technologies created a lot if jobs but at leqst this technology changed a lot of things and is everytime it is integrated in a lot of services. In overall, BC created very small jobs but made a lot of things more secure and easier, which includes land title registry and a lot.
2827  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: John McAfee launches the McAfee Magic trading platform on: June 12, 2019, 04:06:09 PM
https://mcafeemagic.com

Would you trust this man with your dust?

It looks like it consolidates multiple exchanges into one interface.

You go first.
This man is just a clown who has much impression on himself, maybe narcist. Also the reason why this man is clown is how he tries to make himself popular, claiming various reasons of he knows who is satoshi, he will unveil him if he won't tell himself to public that he is real satoshi and etc.
Why does he includes bitcoin in his trading platform if he is bad minded on satoshi? MacAtroll
2828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Bank in Liechtenstein Grew It’s Traffic by 900%, by Selling Cryptocurrencies on: June 12, 2019, 02:13:15 PM
Hmm, seems demand in high in Liechtenstein but for bank services, demand will always be because financial institute is something that we all of us use.
But to be fair, in some countries there isn't big demand in banks for cryptocurrencies, in country where I live, almost no one uses Bitcoin ATM. One man from this forum accepted bitcoin payments in his caffee and during two month, there was only one transaction which was almost donation.
2829  Other / Meta / Re: Trust flags on: June 12, 2019, 01:39:43 PM
Chages are always welcome and to be fair trust section was something that really needed it but to my mind you had to leave concept of a trust score because it showed how new/old your trust was (well, you can check it manually but...)
Scammer flag is a great addition because there were some red trust which were personal and it had nothing to do with trading certain user.
2830  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 BITSLER.com 🔥 CASHBACK 🌟 NEW LEVELS 🌟 NEW RANKS🌟 CHEST PRIZES OF $35,000 💰 on: June 12, 2019, 08:42:51 AM
Stellar (XML) has been added to Bitsler and will be available for all users after the maintenance is over.

Stay tuned.
Great option, I think a lot of people will use it to withdraw from blockchain's free 25$ giveaway.
thd26bct
Bitsler was always adding a lot of altcoins, for example as far as I remember, everything started from adding Burstcoin, there was huge demand on it. After that, a lot of coins were adding and adding during this time. It's really a good comfort when you can deposit/gamble/exchange your favourite coins.
2831  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin about to go really high on: June 11, 2019, 09:19:49 PM
I like how you guys discover a lot of similarities through charts but who says that past charts will be repeatible even if they are similar to current ones? In overall I agree with you, bitcoin's price will rise buw how soon? According to your discovery, we have to see this rise pretty soon, I'm holding, not moving them currently. Let's see what will happen in near future.
Hope your "hope" isn't just another wasted one and it will turn from hope into reality.
2832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nicehash founder charged with fraud and racketeering arrest warrants 50 yrs jail on: June 11, 2019, 08:49:34 PM
For their customer who still use the service since the hack earlier in 2017 are their funds going to be consider safe to keep on their site accounts? Undecided
Just so you know, the news have nothing to do with Nicehash, the authorities are going after especific individuals.

But you should never trust 3rd-parties to hold your cryptos, that's like the #1 rule in the cryptosphere, especially if you know that the site was hacked in the past. So, even though Nicehash reimbursed most of the funds stolen two years ago, I don't think the customers funds are safe. If you have any coins in that site, get them out asap.
To be fair crypto was created for that purpose to never trust your money to 3rd party service but as always, bitcoin become commercial thing, btw I don't care in others money, I know mine is safe. Do you want to feel safe? Do what you have to do, otherwise don't blame others.
News is very interesting, btw this person is really talented man if we consider the fact that claims which are and were against him are 100% right.

2834  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I am in need of a legit Bitcoin tumbler similar to Bit Blender on: June 11, 2019, 07:05:30 PM
As I see chipmixer was suggested almost every user, yeah, this mixer is great and amazing choise for you but for variety list, I would add [banned mixer] to this list. This mixer is one of the oldest mixer and also they have confirmed that they own more than 2000 bitcoin, so don't worry about this aspect.
Otherwise for privacy, chipmixer is better but in overall, cryptomixer is good to use, similar of bitmixer.
2835  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Conflicts of my startup venture on: June 10, 2019, 10:03:18 PM
The problem is that if your idea is so great, then if you release it, a small attention can include p2p landing or any financial institute which can copy your idea and leave you in air. So you need immediate and huge marketing for promoting your project (after releasing it). For this you need good connections, locally where you live. A person with good connection can find another good person too which may be your potential investor.
2836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Provably fair dice - real or bulshit ? on: June 10, 2019, 08:03:53 PM
What "fair" refers to, is that you when you win you actually win, and they don't tamper with the odds. Not that they have "fair odds". That's why if you bet at 2x, you have a 49.5% chance of winning, not a 50% chance. That's how they make their money.
For those who will search or create such threads, this is the best answer to your question. Everything is mathematically simple: Casino has better chance of win and that's why you lose, haven't you ever seen 49.5 win rate? Do you think that 0.5% means nothing? Sorry but mathematically that means a lot and when you consider gambling in long run, this especially increases your chance of lose. So play for fun and not for profit.
2837  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining in the cloud vs simply buying bitcoin on: June 10, 2019, 07:32:24 PM
Question is,is there such thing as cloud mining, I know a few reliable ones like Hashnest but the profits there is too small and the maintenance fee will eat up your profits. That is why I stick to trading because there your coins have more opportunity to grow with careful selection of what coin to buy and careful planning.
As far as I know, hashnest has already changed, btw that doesn't matter. Even cloud mining is worst thing because you never ROI while if you buy bitcoins, there is high chance that price will rise and you'll profit while in cloud mining you even lose what you invested.
So I think comparing of these two isn't correct, especially now when even real mining is dead.
2838  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Will bitcoin mining eventually return to the masses when the reward dwindles? on: June 10, 2019, 06:50:31 PM
No of course, in any way there will be profit in mining, even smallest one means something for huge mining companies like Bitmain, Bitfury and etc. They get electricity in the most cheap prices (can confirm Bitfury has tax free zone and very cheap electricity).
So reward dwindle can only affect negatively to small miners and good reward can help huge companies to even grow.
2839  Other / Serious discussion / Re: What are we wasting our Lives on? on: June 09, 2019, 08:58:58 PM
I think there is nothing wrong in doing something that gives you pleasure but doesn't affect negatively your life. I don't think it's wasting live if I often drink, go parties, gamble and etc, it doesn't ruin my life because I am going pretty well.
But I would ask your question with different meaning. What are most of the population wasting their lives on? Answer is simple: making some people rich. Yeah, let's take countries where people work like slaves to feed themselves while business owners are becoming and becoming rich, none amount of money can feed them. They collect money and that's all, they have so much money that they don't even need and even if they invest in something, for example in startups, they do it in order to increase their budget and their budget increases from our pockets, so money in our pockets decreases but for all of this, we work days and nights. That's a problem, huge problem.
2840  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Xequium Social Network (Alpha Testing Now) on: June 09, 2019, 08:43:12 PM
To be fair idea of project is good but the situation sucks that currently facebook, whatsapp and possibly Telegram (which is seemed to be the most privacy protecting messaging app) will add crypto payments, then you would have a lot of marketing work to over win. In overall, your social network will be good for crypto enthusiasts but I highly doubt any social network will succeed now, even despite the fact how great idea is put behind it. You need a lot of money to succeed, need to be a billionaire.
