We see it everywhere. To counter that coronavirus disaster, governments are spending money like there's no tomorrow. Budget's deficit will rise to new heights, never seen before except during war times. In US and EU, debts are staggering. The Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank are printing money faster that I'm writing it. If you ask what's next, I'm afraid there's only one answer.
In most countries, governments will have no other choice but to raise taxes. They will have to be smart to avoid killing the economy, but they will need to bring more money to balance their budget (or more likely to reduce their operating deficit).
As I haven't paid any income tax since 1997, that's all right with me, but I urge all fellow Bitcoiners to organize themselves, and to plan ahead to avoid the worst...
Or could I be wrong? There will be no more taxes next year?
Printing money is an escape from bad today but is a way into worse tomorrow. This will really create inflation in countries. In any way, expectation about economic situation is very bad right now and when we add printing money it looks like adding fuel to the fire. Id they raise taxes, then it means business will fail and in this situation economic fall is guaranteed. Right now some business needs support to keep functioning and emploeeys. If you raise taxes, wages should be reduced or even some people will be left without job. In any way situation is bad and printing money is only a deal for a while. Psychology playes big role in economics too. When someone starts selling something, people follow it in panic. Can say the same on opposite process - buying. So they have to somehow balance situation and slowly and steadily overcome this economic crisis. |

Wouldn't it be much easier and attractive if there were gambling sites that dealt with stablecoins? Stablecoins could be easily exchanged with both fiat and crypto and are generally faster and cheaper for transaction.

Craig Wright is a copy/paste man who copies from original sources and claims it's his creation. This even further proves why he isn't bitcoin creator. Is there really someone who believes that Wright is right?
Even his surname leaks everything about him. Wright <-- W means wrong (short abbreviation) and right (just right). So in reality he is wrong but he wants to show us that he is right, that's called wright.

It will be curious to see versus on eToro where only two traders are left and others are backed by "follow trader investors". That advice to follow trader because it's hard, for me sounds like to hire baker to bake instead of you because it's "hard nowadays". So there is no logic here in eToro's words, of course it's their marketing campaign and their website is based on that strategy to collect people who will follow some traders and that campaign works because something that sounds nice somehow pours spell on people.

Bitcoin isn't magic that can create jobs and solve the problem of poverty (some people think like: if you are homeless just buy a house). Right now there are as much online jobs as possible according to companies and knowledge/skills of employees and believe me everyone tries to get job online but that's not possible without skills. If you don't have some basis in web development, articles writing and etc, you just have to get through the day. Some bitcoin "enthusiast" think like you can't get money online without bitcoin. If you have a online company and you can afford to launch a signature campaign, please do that or create some sort of micro earning opportunity to help people to survive. Business is far from charity (sometimes it's even profitable business too but). Right now it's not a time to waste money. It doesn't matter whether you can handle to run campaign or not, it matters whether there is a need of it because of marketing purposes. I guess you should stay away from new "micro earning" possibilities, especially right now. |

It's the most strange dice game that I have ever seen but to be fair it somehow fascinated me. I appreciate that you upgraded your dice game and it's not similar of every random one where the only difference is website and nothing more. It's in old style and has some vibe of an old military technics and ancient latters.

If it was fresh account and got deposit of huge money, then I guess they should block it. Btw webmoney isn't as strict as paypal when it comes to money refunds (they don't do it easily as pp).
Webmonry has bitcoin exchange service too, it's not a wallet where fraud transactions are controlled on high level, a lot of people use it for that reason.
It's better to ask this question on Russian board because webmoney is very popular Russian wallet, ask someone help in translation of your issue when opening thread in that board, they'll help.

I just googled different keywords "ceo of bitcoin, bitcoin ceo, bitcoin creator" and etc. I didn't get any information stating that Roger Ver is the ceo of bitcoin but yeah, when you type it, you get an automatic result from google that shows him as the ceo of bitcoin.com and we can't deny that. That happens because of google's search algorithm, no one is "ceo of bitcoin" but on wikipedia and other websites, Roger Ver is stated as the ceo of bitcoin.com so google automatically thinks about bitcoin.com next to btc when you type bitcoin.
It's possible to leave feedback in that section and rate the accuracy of shown information.

With all the sudden interest in online poker lately, I was wondering if FJ would be interested in running a poker site and start of poker network for crypto.
Something like what WPN is doing. Different poker skins but sharing the same player pool under one network.
That's my wish for years, they had an amazing poker game back in 2016 but suddenly they decided to stop it (maybe they had lack of users, I don't know exactly). I guess poker isn't in their to do list cause othetwise they would release their poker or at least join party poker network. So.. I guess there'll be no poker even right now when demand has grown so rapidly (not only on poker but on live blackjack too). Along this, demand on virtual sportsbook has grown too. |

The answer on this question are bitcoin's users. There is knife and it's sold with purpose to slice bread, meat and etc, it's made for times like that but some people misuse it. Maybe it's not 100% clear example but everything depends on type of user. Bitcoin was good back in 2011-2016, after that bitcoin is abused by a lot of people and it's commercialized, example of this is how mining turn into big business and how exchanges require KYC documents as time goes.
Bitcoin's price is determined by it's users and people decide how to treat it, the more positive decisions will have the effect you are looking for.

I love the way you compare bitcoin to phoenix but I would add some correction. Bitcoin is a dark phoenix (not marvel movei hah) because it rises from it's ashes but at the same time the dark side here is that it falls from it's state of rise and this fall is often very hard. If we don't regret that a lot of people lost tons of money, then how will they add in a queue of holders? Nothing to talk hodlers who hold for a very long time. |

As for now we can proudly say that bitcoin handles current situation very well and it didn't affect much. Even if we April's statistics, there wasn't any significant drop or rise in price, it was stable between 6700-7300 USD. But still it's hard to summarize this task. Economic crisis will become more severe in upcoming months and if it happen like most part of people are left without money and they'll have to sell bitcoins, then I think there will be really huge crash in price but situation is still curious cause we don't know what will happen after halving (though halving is the least thing people think about right now).

This is done when provider has api and you have access on this API, if there is no such thing then you need website scraper. I guess you need to know Python to write scrapper script (you can google it) or hire someone who will do that for you.
So to sum up, explain them that you want some of their data to be stored on your website, to say differently, you are looking for someone who will write scraper script for you.

I have lost 5 times some small accounts (less than 100$)
And one little big account (400$) in trading.
Depends on what's your target profit, how long you are going to be in active trading and then you can decide whether 100$ is enough for start or not. But I advice you to stay away from daily trading because you can't catch good moments always, they rarely come. Daily trading can be considered like you go in supermarket and buy things with closed eyes. As a result you bought what you didn't expect or luckily you got what you were looking for. I suggest you to prioritize to catch only good moments, not every moment that you see, that's why you don't have to do daily trading. |

I know...there are smaller marketplaces that people can buy/sell goods via bitcoin, but why a major marketplace is not emerging?? I know for a fact, there is a huge demand for purchasing of goods with BTC...even users from this forum is enough to give the marketplace a supply chain issue  1. is the problem in supply side? are sellers worried taking payments via BTC bcas of volatility 2. is there a logistically inefficiency, that smaller sellers can never compete with the likes of amazon 3. is the transaction speed an issue for retail transactions?? major cards payments are done instantly (maybe this speed is needed for impulse purchases  ) Comment below...thanks i'm a newbie here  There are three major marketplaces: Ebay, Amazon and Aliexpress. Real answer is that demand isn't that good to implement bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency and at the same time it's not easy decision and when you are a huge company and want big to implement something big (yeah, bitcoin is payment way and amazon has a lot of transactions daily), you have to keep things legal and fair. Government's answer on facebook's libra is something that major marketplaces have to consider if they think about cryptocurrencies. There should be other plans too, for example how to do refunds, how should it be done? How will we verify users' bitcoin adresses? How will we get rid of money laundering? And many other questions that they have to answer. In overall pros have to outweigh the cons. |
