2821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal Reaches 85% of Binance.US Volume on: November 16, 2020, 10:47:22 AM
There are better places than paypal to buy crypto but people still prefer to use paypal... Nobody cant be even sure that these btc are real

I agree. It's a risk. A lot of it.
But, this happens because of fewer options.
Availability of exchange in their country.
Yeah, it could be a simple reason but as of now, more people are making money thru the internet.
One of the most options to pay them is Paypal. I am actually one of them.
So with funds there just idling in USD, I'd rather put it somewhere else. PayPal somehow made a solution for those guys.
2822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 16, 2020, 09:17:42 AM
I would like that, Lakers though the depending champ, next season's journey will not be easy for them, especially when going in the playoffs as other teams have also improve, GSW is just an exceptional for me as they never failed to amaze me everytime they play, as long as they are healthy of course.

Backing them without Durant is something valuable because that means you trust the old warriors cast.
Oh, and it would also be sweeter because they can prove they don't really need a superstar in the caliber of KD to win a championship.
We all know there are still a lot of questions about their championships from different analysts.

Reasons:
2015 GSW won, Kyrie injured
2016 Cavs win, Kyrie was healthy.
2017 - 2018 - with KD
2019 Raptors won, injuries in GSW side

I know injuries are part of the game and if they could be healthy this year and win another ring then that discussion will be sealed.
Hoping the team they will be against will have healthy players too. Just to avoid more reasons.
2823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 15, 2020, 11:23:16 PM
I hope that GSW comes back as strong as ever but that 73-9 wasn't done without merit neither, they are way worse than that right now, even though they are superbly great even today, they are nowhere near the 73-9 levels they used to be. Don't get me wrong, I am still saying that they are a top team in the west and there is no denying that, but they are not as good as they used to be. For starters Draymond green like I explained was MUCH better player back in those days and he hasn't been that good for few years now, he started to play worse and worse for the past 3 or so years.

Klay had an injury literally hurting his defense specifically and that was something they used a lot for hiding Curry on defense. On top of that they had Barnes which was a great player. So yeah they are still good but do not compare them to the time they did 73 wins or Durant period, they are good but not THAT good anymore.

Yeah we get it. It's like you are drilling it deeper. Grin

Actually, they might be better now when Klay and Steph comes back.
They got good back up roleplayers.
Younger versions of that 73 wins record.
Looney also healed with his shoulder injury and I saw him shooting threes which is new. Then, there is Wiggins.
We might see a far better GSW now.
Let's judge them after 10-15 games. Them being better means more entertainment for us.
2824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH2.0 deposit contract launched - tracking graph on: November 15, 2020, 09:09:57 PM
I don't actually understand this new ETH 2. what could possibly happen if they didn't met the 524k Ethereum required for staking?

He said it was for the contract to launch.
But I also have the same question.
I really thought it was just release it then let investors stake.
Why would they need such large amount of funds for it to launch?
Is it like a spaceship going to the moon that needs funding? Grin
Don't want to put my funds there just to be idle for a long time.

Here' from CoinGeek.

To trigger genesis at this time, there must be at least 16384 32-ETH validator deposits 7 days prior to December 1. If not, genesis will be triggered 7 days after this threshold has been met (whenever that may be).

2825  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I study to learn how to trade? on: November 15, 2020, 07:42:20 PM
No minimum. Just how much you can afford to lose.
For starters of course.
Not everyone who starts trading have lady luck on their side.

Do you have something in mind of what pair you want to trade?
Like BTC/USDT or BTC/ETH?
For learning, this forum is a good start. Then, if you are trying to save more money so you could use it to trade then just watch free clips in known streaming websites.
That's just what I did and just let experience do the rest.
2826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 15, 2020, 06:02:37 PM
It will be a tough fight in the Western Conference.  Wink

Hmmm. This was an article 2 days ago but the first time I have read about it.
Russell Westbrook trade rumors: Knicks interested in making Rockets star centerpiece of their team, per report
So now the Knicks is moving.
WB could lead those young guys for the playoffs. Maybe teach them something too.
Quote
In regards to the Knicks, New York Times' Marc Stein also reported that New York is willing to take on the remaining $130 million of Westbrook's contract, and would immediately make him the centerpiece of their team.
Yes, they can take that humungous amount of money.  Grin

2827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The last time we saw 16K on Bitcoin price on: November 15, 2020, 05:06:04 PM
Thanks for the reminder.
I have sold my Ethereum back those days. It was $1k+ also. I forgot the exact figure.
Then I bought it back at $230-260. Now, I am in profits once again. Lucky.  Wink

Bitcoin though is something I won't sell just yet. I believe there is much more we could experience than this.
Chainlink. Ahh, I never had the guts to buy that. Could have been profitable too.
2828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Gang uses crypto for illegal purposes on: November 15, 2020, 02:48:17 PM
As always, they want control over everything especially if it's about the money.
Now gambling in China is Illegal so according to them if anyone from China is engaging in Gambling online overseas even the online casinos might be held accountable.  But I think some casinos might be bypassed by using VPN.
It's true. They are hiding in different countries, mostly near China.
I don't think they want to go so far and stay within the range where they could still use their language.
Not just individual Chinese gambling but more like a company of Chinese that runs a gambling business.
I guess other countries' authorities are not helping them trace it because of a bad reputation or just not on good terms with China.
2829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you really think crypto stand a chance agaisnt the financial system on: November 15, 2020, 10:32:24 AM
Let's face the truth, it is only in theory that cryptocurrency is a threat to banks/financial system. In reality, the banking/financial system is so big that crypto's threat is not significant at all. Majority of cryptocurrency investors are not really interested in crypto replacing the traditional financial system, they are just interested in it creating enough hype for more people to get in so their investment can skyrocket.
Think of it, if crypto was really a huge threat, don't you think we would have enough regulation by now?? what is you opinion??

That's true. The fiat system cannot be broken.
But, have you also considered why the hell are we talking about it now?
That also means something right? That means it is recognized. It means it is being seen and could really make a big change.
They just don't want to admit it just yet.
Pride? Evil intention? Like they cannot apply their traditional corrupted thievery.  Grin
Governments will try to avoid regulations for years just to keep their pockets filled.
2830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 15, 2020, 09:11:33 AM
Now that people seem to lost their trust to GSW as they have a new favorite, I'm liking the odds now.

Oh yeah stadus, we might make tons of money here.  Grin

But if GSW showcased their skills once again, the bandwagon will be back.
That time we could bet for the old favorites.  Wink
But seriously, Klay and Curry had enough of their rest. Time to work again to get another championship.
The roster is looking great and they have young players that can easily adapt to the fast plays of Steve Kerr.
2831  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's the next Bitcoin´s NEW 2020 HIGH? on: November 14, 2020, 04:46:52 PM
A 2017 deja vu.
Might have bumped into the same question years ago before $20k.
Another ATH is scary.
It may cause another huge dump and may lead to some HODLers thinking about just selling all the way since they can buy back at a lower price.

I'd rather stay with this number and savor it. Take another year before it gains more value. Slow and steady.
2832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 14, 2020, 03:41:28 PM
Westbrook is not fit for the Clippers, a conflict with the role of Kawhi, I'm sure about that unless either of them will give way as the main scorer. But I see Paul George will be a good addition to the Rockets. Rockets will win on that trade if ever or maybe the best way to say it is, Rockets will win on the trade no matter what as long as they trade Westbrook. Grin

Bull's eye.
It's a conflict.
I don't see Kawhi playing better with Westbrook beside him.
PG13 will be the best wingman for him and I don't think the 2 of them have conflicts.
It's management which they will need to deal with.
They had just been around for a year. Another chance should be given.
I say get better this season. Take the number 1 spot and prove them wrong on what could have been a catastrophic decision.
2833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seriously Valuable tokens listed on uniswap?.. on: November 14, 2020, 05:34:04 AM
It's like you are contradicting yourself and then agree back to it.  Grin
Do you mean marketing managers listing in other exchanges is a wrong decision?
Which leads to the value of their token falling.
You should also consider the bull run of Bitcoin to be the reason behind it.

Imagine if you have lots of altcoin that could be exchanged for 1 BTC. Will you not try to sell it and ride the bull?
2834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitter accounts of crypto gambling sites on: November 14, 2020, 03:56:08 AM
Great help.
The fastest way to get updates and promotions is through this platform.
Thank you for the effort in merging it all into one piece.
I owe you some merits for this thread. I already added some of it in my bookmark so that I could get my hands on them real quick.  Wink
2835  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to choose the best cryptocurrency exchange platform in 2021? on: November 13, 2020, 09:54:33 PM
And I thought I am going to see a huge list with their rankings base on your own experience.
Sadly, there is none but just one.
It's difficult to compare one with itself. It's just dumb, right? Like looking in the mirror.

Anyway, I haven't tried that website yet so I might never because of this. Grin
2836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 13, 2020, 07:29:59 PM
Just thought I'd share with you how difficult it is to be a bulls fan lol.
Looks like DRose 50 point game is working for these Bulls fans.  Cheesy
Are they really Bulls fans?  Grin
Man, no disrespect to DRose but he had been inconsistent after the injury. I don't think the Bulls would want him again.

Since the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Clippers are being mentioned here, and it's no secret already that both camps might trade Westbrook and Paul George, there is a report that both teams have conducted "preliminary" talks for a trade centered around Paul George and Russell Westbrook.

For all the trade rumors circulating about Westbrook and George, this one is actually the first rumor that began to have progress.

As it progresses, maybe both camp's next action will be to start discussing things on other teams. This will be a blockbuster trade for sure. Let's see what will happen next.
That's a huge leap.
PG13? Really? Clippers would want WB rather than PG13?
Just because of that 3-1 failure against the Nuggets? Damn!
2837  Economy / Economics / Re: Oil and USA dollar problem for USA covid 19 New oil on: November 13, 2020, 05:02:16 PM
You are correct.
Vaccines will slow down in demands once countries already bought it and people are injected with it.
Newborns will be the next who will need it but I don't think that will be enough to keep the value.

Damn, you gave me a difficult time thinking about what could be their next step would be.
Is it possible that they will lean over the technology industry?
2838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multiplayer vs single player games on: November 13, 2020, 03:12:46 PM
I am already playing an MMORPG which had a lot of players in it.
So when I gamble, I want to stay alone in the meantime to have that peaceful time for myself.  Grin

Thank you for the introduction though.
I never knew it was like that in slots gambling. I may try it if I feel like joining some co-gamblers.  Wink
2839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin continues the positive trend today, is the altcoin market in trouble? on: November 13, 2020, 11:53:16 AM
With Ethereum I don't think there will be a problem.
Not all investors there will just switch to Bitcoin because they are also expecting greatness from it.

While on the other hand, you might worry about not much popular altcoins.
Those have the risk of being sold by investors and just ride the wave of bitcoin even for a little amount of time.
Dump means value down. You just need to figure out if the coin you are supporting can hold it out while investors are selling. Some can, others can't.
2840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 13, 2020, 08:34:03 AM
In other words, can't wait for the new season to start!  Cool
That, I understand.  Grin

About CP3 joining the Clippers. It is possible.
But that means letting go of some key players.
Montrezl Harrell (UFA)
Lou Williams still got 1 year. (correct me if I'm wrong)
Just imagine letting go of 2 winners of the "6th man of the year". No way. That's like the MVP for bench players.

I don't think that's the real issue behind the Clippers team. Something bad happened that we don't see.
Might be locker room issues. Even if they recruit CP3, it won't change a thing if that issue remains.
