2841  Economy / Economics / Re: China is looking to get rid of the US dollar on: October 18, 2020, 09:58:21 PM
If venezuela issued a new cryptocurrency tomorrow, would anyone trust it?

China could have similar issues to venezuela. In terms of lack of trust. The CCP not being considered the most reliable or stable thing in the world.

In past years china announced they would back their native yuan currency with gold to implement a gold standard. Many news stories from china are later found to be false and do not pan out. Remember when china claimed they would "ban crypto currencies, exchanges" or "ban crypto mining". These news stories sent the price of bitcoin tumbling. Some of these news stories were later found to be false. Which did little or nothing to mitigate the damage inflicted.

Stability, trust and reliability are 3 main things people look for with currencies and assets. All of which could be areas where china is in short supply.
Considering the population of China, I’m sure this one can be a big thing, Venezuela’s situation are far from the status of China and we know how the Chinese people follows the law on their country as if they have a choice. Though China can’t totally disregard USD, this move is still a good one to start a totally cashless society even if there’s a trust issue with China.
2842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Curio hit 5$ in near future? on: October 18, 2020, 09:37:48 PM
When Cur token .15$, Since then I have seen the Cur token. This is a potential token. Whose product is the car. They have also been able to sell cars in the meantime. It has hit 4$+ in some days ago. Supply only 2 million. It is currently in high demand in the market. If any positive news comes. Hope its going to hit 5$ in this year. Lots of news up front. Stable coin, marj upcoming news. Team says this news will come together within in this year.
The limited supply makes this token more valuable to the others and yes, we just need to hear good news from this one and there’s a chance to go beyond that $5 target of OP, time will come and the bull will begin again. Curio is a good token and works well on their service, good cars with a good token is good for future investment as well.
2843  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Naniniwala ba kayo dito? on: October 17, 2020, 10:24:13 PM
Tignan naten si Binance, kahit na hinde required ang KYC ay maganda paren ang services na inooffer nila and that’s the example of being a great exchange without forcing the users to give their information.
2844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will UNISWAP become a centralized exchange? on: October 14, 2020, 10:54:08 PM
Given the latest hype news from Uniswap, is it possible that in the new management scheme there will be risks of centralization and possible absorption by big people?
For example, the Dharma Corporation may well exert pressure and control over Uniswap.
I'll take the example of idex which was very known before as a decentralized exchange. If it happened on idex, there's a tendency or a slight chance that it can be the same with uniswap. With the technical matters and codings, I have no idea about it.
I'm only comparing it with what we've seen with one known dex before.
Anything can happen depends on how the new management work under the UNI platform and maybe if there’s a government pressure, they’ll become a centralized exchange later on and it can affect the price of UNI for sure. What we see right now is not permanent, they will be more changes, and more development we are not sure about this one, time will tell.
2845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNI Token Eligible Wallet To claim free Uni token! on: October 13, 2020, 12:39:15 PM
I have misplaced my keystore or maybe I lost it. It seems I can't get my uni token. I am trying to root my phone and try some recovery application and see if I mistakenly deleted some files.
You can still claim the UNI as long as you input your ETH address but since you don't have any access on that anymore, that UNI token will stay on your wallet forever so its useless. Learn from this mistakes so you wont miss any opportunity to make profit, and protect your wallet on its highest security, create more back up is possible.
2847  Economy / Speculation / Re: What could be the impact of the US election on currencies? on: October 12, 2020, 01:28:59 PM
USA printed a lot of money in a very short-term period so no matter whoever comes to the leadership the value of the dollar is going to lose further and it is going to increase the price of bitcoin just due to the inflation on the fiat currencies. Creating a million jobs is not going to happen in real soon so these all are just political acts and nothing more.
They done during the pandemic season and I believe who ever wins on this election can make a big impact on the market, stocks and cryptomarket will move big after the US election, but you're right the result can't make a big change easily and maybe a short pump and after that, we will back to reality of facing so many financial problems. Many people lose their jobs, the government have to support first the small companies so they can start all over again and that create jobs to many.
2848  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Ang UnionBank at si Mr. Ron Hose ng Coins.ph on: October 12, 2020, 12:54:19 PM
This is a great move by Unionbank and I'm sure Mr. Ron is expert on cryptocurrency and he will make a big change on the system of Unionbank. So far, RCBC and Uniobank ang naglalaban in terms of digital system and recently, na acknowlegde ang RCBC as one of the best Digital banking, head to head ang competition between this two bank. Anyway, maganda itong panimula and I do hope na mas maraming local banks ang mag support sa cryptocurrency, BDO needs a lot of improvement on their online banking, hopefully marealize nila ito.
2849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of Defi scams on: October 11, 2020, 01:04:00 PM
There's more to come so learned from these scam projects and never invest again easily. There are some project that even exist for a long time and after that, they are gone now after scamming so many investors. The DeFi hype is still here so the scammers are still making fake projects to create hype and to scam people. This is just a small list of many scam projects, take this as your reference for your future investment.
2850  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading in the pandemic on: October 11, 2020, 11:16:49 AM
Trading is not easy during this time and a lot more challenging especially on balancing our finances and pandemic forces many companies to stop their operations that affects many workers, and traders as well. Crypto trading is a lot more in a good position compare to the stock market so I think we are still making profit here and a lot of good bounties that is done during the pandemic, you can add that to your profit journal. The market is very volatile, this is not new to me and everything will recover, you have to be more strategic this time.
2851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is why I AM BULLISH on ETHEREUM!!! on: October 10, 2020, 10:02:52 PM
If you see the hype DeFi projects using the Ethereum network, it is profitable to collect Ethereum. If you don't have the mining
equipment to be able to collect Ethereum, do the regular way by buying Ethereum on exchanges. Unfortunately the issue of
increasing Ethereum transaction fees has not been resolved, and there is no news regarding ETH 2.0 yet. Hopefully that doesn't
make the Ethereum price drop, but seeing that the current market is still stable, Ethereum is above $ 300. I predict that by the
end of this year Ethereum will be able to rise above $ 400.
In fact, it is possible that ETH mining will not last long, since with the arrival of the Ethereum 2.0 update, every Ethereum owner over 32 coins will receive income from staking. Thus, with the transition to the PoS algorithm, mining will cease to exist. By the way, this event will bring much more benefit not only to the owners of Ethereum, but also to the entire cryptocurrency market who use the erc20 platform.
That updates is long overdue but once its done, ETH will soar high and many tokens under that platform. The staking will make miners more less but it wont die easily or as fast as we think. Any updates on good coins will result to a pump, this is why I’m still holding my ETH and I’m very bullish with this one as well.
2852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of Japan to begin digital currency proof-of-concept in 2021 on: October 10, 2020, 11:56:44 AM
They will never be faster than China in digital fiat adoption, sad to know
China is already a cashless society, but in terms of the support to cryptocurrency Japan is ahead to them and since China is making their Yuan digital, I don’t think they will fully support cryptocurrency. I still choose Japan in terms of the advance technology, and they are pro people that’s why they are respectable country nowadays.
2853  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are the big funds washing money of btc? on: October 09, 2020, 11:48:35 PM
Are they are going to washing money to dump btc and other cryptocurrency in USA?

Is USA going to be dumping ground for dark markets and btc scammers and whales?
That's why the Fidelity and grave scale will buy btc?

To burry btc in USA?
What specific reason why USA will be the center of dumping? Are they panicking or creating panic so other people will dump too?

Anyway, this is just a speculation and as we can see bitcoin pumps again and reach the level of $11k so I don’t think they are dumping it. Besides, the US election is coming, usually stocks are declining because they are still speculating who will win the election and after that, expect the pump.
2854  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does having a lot of investing money make trading for a living much easier? on: October 09, 2020, 10:17:31 PM
Stop complicating things and start trading now without any expectation since your example is not a reality and don’t think for an easy money in this market. Having a lot of money doesn’t guarantee a good return, you must have the skills to trade, and start earning.

If you have a small capital then its fine, the goal here is to remain profitable and to achieve your target profit, despite of the losses, the trading fees and tax at the end of the day you gain the skills that is needed in order for you to succeed, consider trading as your job and always do your best. TAYOR!
2855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s next for Libra? on: October 09, 2020, 09:13:12 PM
Libra has been discussed a lot in the past but I don't expect it to launch anytime soon as there are a lot of legal hurdles to them right now.
Facebook is based in the US and the United States has only one central bank that can issue money. I think Facebook won't be able to do that without the amendment of the law.

yes I think it is like that too, that Facebook still has many obstacles in launching their own coins, in fact from 2019 - 2020 there have been no new developments from their project. because this is still against the law in that country, especially the US. crypto has not been well received by the AS country.
There’s no news about Libra and they should make at least the announcement if they want to push this through. As far as I know, Libra is not US based but since Facebook is her mother company, the pressure is high because of the US government. I don’t know if its possible to operate outside the US so Libra can at least start their own currency and limits the usage to the US citizen.

2858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question: Is there any websites where I can gamble crypto under 18? on: October 06, 2020, 03:28:19 AM
There’s a lot of gambling site that you can easily play with, just input your email address and you’re ready to go and I don’t know how they regulate their site especially with those players that is under 18.

Gambling is not advisable for that age, please save yourself from the addiction and don’t ever spend more time on gambling and spending your money. Under 18 should still need the parental guidance so they can know the correcting things for them.
