2843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forum moderation policy on: July 23, 2018, 11:06:16 AM
There are some get mad by getting red trust to their account what is the real basis of their fault, some are protesting is their a way to erase the red trust they got?

Trust is unmoderated so nothing to do with this thread. The only way to remove red trust is for the person who left it to delete it. That means they must resolve the issue with the person involved directly.
2844  Other / Meta / Re: Ban Appeal on: July 23, 2018, 08:57:20 AM
thank for you comments
Actually I have a slight disappointment. If most of the cases as you say are not unban, So why leave us a clue about the appeal. Even, If we create a new account, it will be banned, and for this reason so I need to clarify that if I am permanently banned, my account (CoinMenZ) will also be banned or not. It was as if I was standing at a crossroads and did not know what to do, does not have any a comment response from email or at this topic from admin.
It was like being expelled without any chance of excuse, no chance. This is not fair for everyone

It is just that you misunderstand what the appeal is for. You can appeal if you think the ban was issued in error. Saying sorry and asking for another chance isn't an appeal and it isn't going to achieve anything. That's why no moderator is answering your thread.
2845  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: In order to improve mining and the max transaction rate of the network... on: July 23, 2018, 07:56:43 AM
1. Keep transactions as small and simple as possible- 2 input/2 outputs, 200 bytes or less.

That would be counterproductive. Transactions that have many inputs and/or outputs are more efficient as there is less overhead than sending multiple transactions. A lot of the network congestion that occurred at the end of last year was caused by Coinbase NOT batching their transactions and spamming the network with lots of small high fee transaction.
2846  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in - is it even worth it? on: July 23, 2018, 06:46:03 AM
Might I ask how many tickets I have to buy to reach from 0% to 100% bonus?

It is a ratio to how much you win from free plays so there is no absolute number.
2847  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★ Crypto-Games.net ★ LARGEST wagering contest - up to 46.000$ in prizes* on: July 23, 2018, 05:51:10 AM
First of all, I want to say sorry about misunderstanding about what I wrote there but I think this is pretty absurd, I am trying to quote thequin asking for an explanation because what I think CG have more than that payout and I am sorry for the missing 1 zero I am truly apologize here instead of 7 eth I want to say 70 eth. Thanks for pointing that out and give some good explanation. Really appriciate it

The quote of me you used contained this:

Just to correct you about roulette. Maximum win per field is 50 ETH, but you can win more than 50 ETH in a single round if you f.e. bet on RED + Number 23, those are two fields and your max win will be 100 ETH.

That was already correcting my misunderstanding of what is written in the faq. The follow-up posts already contained a full explanation. Why on earth would you ask me if I was sure?
2848  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in - is it even worth it? on: July 23, 2018, 05:00:10 AM
That's is correct. PUSH the gambling, cause all that it is, gambling. Send in money to a so called faucet and GAMBLE IT to supposedly get a higher award.

'so called' by you it would seem. Have you ever stopped to think what faucets are for? Those that are funded by advertising are paying you to be marketed at by viewing the adverts. Freebitco.in is paying to market the gambling services at you.

Oh and also PUSH holding a balance for a VERY small 4.08% annual interest rate, or roughly 0.34 % per month or 0.011% per day.  Most traders can achieve a return much higher than a menial 0.34% on just about every trade.

Over 85% of traders lose money. Trading is an activity that requires time to perform whereas interest payments are a passive income. Comparing the two is a false equivalence. Tell me where you can get better than 4.08% PA as a passive guaranteed income?

To achieve an interest payout of .0007 per month, one would require a balance of over .2 btc. Again an average trader would reasonably expect his/her bitcoin to work much more efficiently for them. (.2 x 4.08%= .00816 per year / 12 = .00068/month). To achieve these lofty awards one must RISK their balance to obtain it.

Lie. The trader must risk their money but there is no requirement to gamble to receive interest. You can open an account deposit and just leave it there if you want and you'll get exactly the same interest as everyone else.

Kind of reminiscent of casino rewards points platform that are designed to encourage excessive and compulsive gambling.

Wow, casino uses tried and tested marketing strategies shocker. I bet you must be the first person to notice that.

If one wishes to park their bitcoin for a low interest return or simply seeking to gamble this may be a fine place for an individual. If you are seeking a faucet to grow your trading coin without sending in coin and most likely losing it this is truly a place to avoid, as you will likely never receive anything.

If you are seeking 'a faucet to grow your trading coin' you need to step out of cloud cuckoo land.

I have personally played many dice games over the years. Every single one has claimed provably fair, but when you played them you found out that they are not at all. All are prone to excessive, unnatural and statistically improbable losing streaks, and all claim that you are just unlucky, while they rake in your coin.
To be clear I am not identifying this as a scam.

Of course you're not calling it a scam you're just displaying your ignorance. Provably fair mean you can prove it TO YOURSELF. However when faced with the reality that improbable sequences do occur it's easier just think it was unfair than to actually check it.

I have received small payouts in the past. However this is no longer a faucet, and pretending to be one when it is a dice game is misleading.

Unlike every other gambling site, freebitco.in will allow you just to claim the faucet whatever your balance and never gamble if you wish. It isn't pretending to be anything other than a gambling site with a faucet. Maybe you built up some perception of it in your own mind and mislead yourself.

@Kakmakr, I think I probably know the answer but do you have a static IP or a dynamic IP - if it's dynamic, you might want to request a static one so this error doesn't happen again)?

If the static address gets added to a VPN / Proxy list that's going to make his problem worse. I respect Kakmakr's privacy so I'm not pushing him to do this, but if he PMs me his user ID I'll ask wetsuit to whitelist him so he doesn't get checked against the IP database.

"Normal" gambling sites do, although I guess they know the legal entities they're doing business with.

I didn't reply to this yesterday because I wanted to take opinion from other site owners. They all agree that they couldn't trust anyone to code for them.

Wetsuit could easily get other users to program to help him build the site and add new features (it would probably be better to include more people to give ideas and code prototypes for wetsuit that he can then test).

It would be more work to check the code than write it yourself.

Also, there is, as far as I remember from the site, only 5% of funds in a hot wallet, everything else is in cold storage...

Yeah, you're right, it is only ~400 BTC so why should we care about securing that? We could always top it up from the cold wallet so they could steal some more.

No, TheQuin is the only helper, because his grammar and manner of talking is always the same. Smiley

That's really got me intrigued. Somone else does handle the support emails so now I wonder if I have a doppelganger.

ouai it's been some time that I use this faucet all that I win I reinvest in the multiplier and frankly the behavior of the roll does not resemble the hazard is what users who have an account on old BCT could give their opinion because it does not look very clean I must be deceiving myself and I hope it would mean that I do not waste my time but as a tap it is not very open

You are deceiving yourself. It is a provably fair game that you are playing for free. Provably fair means you don't have to take my word for it you can prove it to yourself. You just need to stop lazily making accusations, read the provably fair tab, and verify your rolls.

really? no update from TempAccount6001 so far.

That was an hour an a half before BTCforJoe asked them to come back and update us with the outcome. It would be the logical conclusion that their problem was fixed very quickly and they had no need to come back to the forum. If they still had a problem they would be sure to be letting everyone know and still trying to alert ChipMixer in this thread.

let me guess. your second name is Sherlock?  Wink

I take anonymity seriously so you'll have keep guessing. That's why I like privacy reinvented.

PS. Sherlock was his first name.

Actually, it can do but there are incompatibilities between wallets. That message verified only in Electrum with which you created it. It's better to use one that everyone can verify for a use like this.

Solved - I got the new IP address and I am running again. Thanks for the offer, but I am cool. I am not in the habit of giving out personal information to strangers on the internet. ^joke^

I will let you know if this problem persists and then you guys can look into it. Just glad I am operational once again and things are back to normal now. This new IP address may just be the thing I need to change my luck to win the Lotto.  Grin

No problem. The other IP must be listed as a VPN or Proxy, it's difficult to get hold of 100% accurate lists.
2857  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: July 22, 2018, 07:03:46 AM
Nah, It's OK. Getting another IP address is not a train smash at all, takes me 5 minutes.  Grin Will check back to see if the range is blocked or only a specific static IP address. It was just strange that I was discussing possible bot attack scenarios yesterday and that my IP address was blocked today. Could just be a coincidence, so let's just leave it there.  Roll Eyes

To the Moon!

It would help if you could PM me the IP address anyway so we can check against the lists. Getting false positives is a big hindrance to trying to stop bots as we don't want to stop genuine users at the same time.
2858  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: July 22, 2018, 06:25:47 AM
Well, I guess if you ask too many questions... this happens to your account : http://prntscr.com/k9g47a   There should be no reason at all for my IP to be banned, because nobody else is using my IP address. Very interesting indeed. I have been using this faucet for years and I have never had a problem before.  Tongue

You get banned, if you speak about bots.  Roll Eyes

PM me your user ID and the IP address and I'll ask wetsuit to take a look. We certainly don't ban people for what they say take a look at the trolls in this thread. We are adding to the lists of VPN and proxy addresses we use so it might be a false positive from that.
2859  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: July 21, 2018, 10:15:42 PM
I really have a doubt - there is a single guy running this faucet, there should be a gang of mathematicians and coders...

Only just thought that? That's normal, but there isn't.

There's enough information open source to allow wetsuit to do everything himself. Although, I'm not sure if anyone knows if wetsuit is an account managed by only one person or if there are other employees (I assume there's someone other than thequin on email support for example).

I'm not alone on support, marketing and design, but the on the coding side of things it is all wetsuit. When this much money is involved he wouldn't be making good decisions to trust anyone else with that.
2860  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in - is it even worth it? on: July 21, 2018, 10:10:39 PM
Current reward 9 sats on a 1 hour timer.

Your current reward is 9 satoshi every hour. My current reward is 297 satoshi every hour. I claim 17 times a day = 5049 satoshi. I also currently receive 0.00002369 satoshi every day thanks to the interest. My monthly interest is 0.00071191 BTC. I'm happy with freebitco. Cool.

Yeah, it is definitely worth it if you take advantage of everything the site gives. If you just sign up to do free plays then the chances of winning big are quite small, but they are still there.
