I asked last night how they plan to implement the payout, and I may be mistaken, but could have sworn boxxa said they plan to have people register for it? Not sure how that would work exactly. If anyone has a chat log, it may be in there somewhere.

To me, the logical way to do these sort of nation giveaways (not just maza) would be for community projects and perhaps small businesses. Use enough coin to provide something, get it made, then later on, use it for something else. That way you avoid the dump that will undoubtedly occur when most people get free cash (or free crypto, I should say), and get around the issue of giving it to every single individual. Since there is a trust already for maza, I'd think it make logical sense.

If the coin sinks enough, perhaps that is the way they'd have to go.

1000 maza ... here is your $1-$5, and please buy a $50 phone so you can use it.
Or just bundle it up into higher amounts, and do something for the community.

Don't know, but expect it'll be a while. Little point until the price is higher. And they are sort of limited to whatever the premine total is as to what they give away, I expect. They can't just make up a big number, as they won't have enough coins to cover it. Which is why I found it so odd that they weren't more concerned about the price.

Hmm... down again. It'd be nice to one day check the price and see it has gone up for a change.

I believe Payu did say he had a radio spot today, and might get a chief to come out and support the coin, although wouldn't mention his name for fear of trolling against said chief. If they promote this somewhere, besides some random youtube video that most won't see, it could help. They really need a better website/blog and a person over here keeping people updated.

A fork is needed to reduce miner rewards, but boxxa seemed against that. No idea why. One weird thing I noticed in chat last night was when boxxa was asked if he kept track of the price -- Boxxa claimed he had a lot of coins, but didn't worry about the price.  My first thought was: who cares how many coins you hold,the idea should be that the creators of the coin want to support a high price, so the premine isn't a complete waste.

It sort of felt like Boxxa and Payu weren't exactly in sync, or at least didn't communicate nearly enough. Again, just the impression I got, and I could be completely wrong.

I wouldn't nearly go that far. My impression is that he's a little over his head right now, and things moved faster than he expected. I'm also not sure how great he is with the technical side of cryptos, mining or what boxxa is doing exactly. He needs to coordinate better, get a pr person, and keep people informed.

I had a much bigger problem with Boxxa than I did with Payu.

As for being banned for mining questions, no idea what you said to get banned. I asked several times about mining/rewards and other stuff, and had no problems. Asked the same to Boxxa too.

Well, Payu definitely handled himself better than Boxxa did. I almost understand their reluctance to do forum stuff, with so many trolls in chat.

Unfortunately Payu isn't really answering the questions that matter, at least from what I have seen so far.

I mostly agree, although think the fud is a waste of time here. There are real concerns we could discuss instead -- no need for troll craziness.

The biggest surprise I got was the lack of maturity in the dev. Okay, if he said he could only post here once in a while, or Payu's job was to post here, not his ... I'd understand that. But he basically acted like he was 12 years old.

Most of the other answers, such as how to distribute the coin, upcoming news, tribal issues, were rather vague. I left after cookies came up ... did anything positive get discussed afterwards? I assume no?

Suggestion, please post less, and less crazy? There are certainly some real concerns we can discuss, rather than some random facebook pages, or that 'some guy' messaged you some incriminating news or info about Payu that you don't like.

And yeah, you even brought up join dates (including mine) in your other thread, seeing shills and trolls everywhere. Try to take your crazy pills and discuss things rationally?

Well, a playground is fine, assuming the people playing there have enough food to eat. Yeah, from a publicity standpoint, a playground would work. And no need to get hung up on it, I just meant a community project or two would be a lot easier than handing out maza to each individual.

As for EAC, I believe their main problem started because one of the key developers backed out and dumped his entire premine (or at least that is the rumor). Then they went into a death spiral.

I am sure there are plenty of poor children that could benefit from a food pantry. It doesn't just have to be for adults.

And I look at it from the perspective of actually helping someone, not what gets the most publicity. The point to maza shouldn't be to just drum up interest/newspaper articles, but to actually help someone.

The thing that bugs me the most is the fact that the developers won't post here. I mean, people spent like 3 days fighting off FUD (and I mean real FUD, not just normal concerns) --the android artifact thing, Herp going insane, etc. and yet nobody from the maza team would say a word here in the forums.

That, and then I saw the MZC water challenge  on youtube (my basic reaction to it was wtf)...

I don't think maza is a scam. I just question whether the developers have any idea what they are doing.

About the same for me, a bit less, around 800 MZC. I thought I was being smart averaging it out, but now I wish I just took the loss and sold at around 2500ish or so the other day. It's not very much money, so no biggy, but I'm a small guppy sized trader and I would have liked to used the coins for something else, if I knew it'd tank like this.

Rather than reinvent the wheel, or in this case, the buffalo, why not just ask payu if he'd prefer the shutterstock buffalo instead? If so, ask to be reimbursed in maza or something, as I think it's $29 for the image (if the standard license is good enough). If not, it's a bit pricey at $200.

I wouldn't worry so much about maza becoming mooncoin. Mooncoin had a developer who couldn't even code their wallets properly, and no actual plan to use the coin. It was basically dead on arrival, got one big pump and dump ... and sunk again.

But the danger is digging a hole that takes forever to dig out of. The coin needs to stabilize around a price, be that 3K, 5K or whatever ... and then it can grow from there.

I missed the chat with payu, but it's nutty if herp was over there spamming too. He must be being paid for this, or is truly insane.
