The sentiment is different and the incentive to sell is greater now. I expect the price will drop well below $100. The problem being that old hands have spent money on luxuries, goods, services, etc...
This is a Bitcoin "bank run" and companies will follow the model inspired by JP Morgan and buy for 1/100th of the price pre-drop. That puts us at around $45/btc...
The idea is to recover your losses on the way up while multiplying your market share. This is full-blown panic mode. I don't think the bottom can hold until new money finds the market...
I never thought I would see the price this low but it's still too high to jump in because the panic hasn't stopped...
Incentive to sell is in no way greater than it was earlier. The gains were much bigger for those holding coins pre 100$ than are now for those that bought on the run to 1200. I don't have idea where we will land but absolutely nothing is different except that Bitcoin is in much better position than it was in April-July 2013 when I had feared of it being banned completely by governments. |

I really think we have seen the bottom.....  we've been to the edge now lol Post-bottoms bounces are usually more violent than what we see now. It might be some short time bottom though. |

ok I achieved my desired position, this is my biggest Litecoin stash of coins I ever had, now it is holding time, now that Greek physic teacher can yell at me and tell me hodl...  It's falling more slowly than btc in last hour or two. |

That was perfect Fib retracement on Bitstamp.  This is so arbitrary. It just depends were you set the low and high point. And all the other lows are not not pefect. They are just somewhere between. That what you would expect with randomness... You set fibs from low to end of one impulse wave. It's big range but that's where I posted it. |
