2841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you see? on: December 27, 2021, 05:58:23 AM
it's getting more harder to retrace old ATH even while institutions are adopting the coin, I believe that massive sell off will happen soon which will unlock the door for the bears
I do not think that it would be too harder for bitcoin market to scale the old ATH when institutional investors are getting back to their business. At the same time. bears may come into action as profit booking must be the trigger for opening door for bears which may get intensified when more people start believing about upcoming massive selloff still these are all just part of bitcoin market but in long run bitcoin is always good to invest for the targets of new ATH.

bull market have managed to stay around for more than a year already I don't know why anyone would be so greedy enough to keep expecting bulls to stay forever
yeah, only impractical bitcoiners must be expecting bulls to be in action forever but over experiences people will understand about both bulls and bears as part of market and will come into action alternatively.
2842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My coins percentage down on: December 26, 2021, 09:44:05 PM
the altcoin market is very affected by the current trend, the higher the profit opportunity the higher the volatility, it is unavoidable, bear markets are normal in the market and that is a common thing, maybe only big coins are able to recover faster when a bear market occurs.
Yeah, recovery phase for different altcoin is always different hence we cannot have any generalized opinion on all altcoins while investing with them. It would be better if you go investing at the beginning of bull run and should book profits by the times of end of bull run; so that we do not need to hold on bearish trend. If you happen to hold on bearish trend then you got only 50% chances for recovery.

In December the new covid mutation started spreading around the world and investors are panicking.
yeah due to that reason, we are still got stuck around $50k levels otherwise we might have been trading around a new ATH by this time.
2843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will MEME coin rule the world? on: December 26, 2021, 09:01:39 PM
We have seen lots of MEME coins launched in these seasons! the question remains without use case will MEME coin rule the world or will it successes bring about more innovative change to the way we raise capital for social causes.
I don’t see meme coins ruling the world in the future. These meme coins are just another hype in the market. And you know what happens with coins that are built on hype? after everything they end up being neglected by most of the people, because they will end up crashing heavily when they do.

Most of these meme coins are now serving as an avenue for people who wants to pump and dump. Most of these groups would target such coins and pump them and once they increased heavily in price, they would be dumped for good. Such heavy dumps would discourage potential investors who had plans to invest in these coins.
2844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 26, 2021, 05:45:35 PM
Xavi coming to Barcelona with bad condition financial where on January window transfer he only only has option get Ferran Torres as new player, he has bigger decision before get agreement with Barcelona but at the end he still not get new player in window transfer. I think he has not any expectation with Barcelona can get trophy in this years how ever Champion league miss out from Barcelona after failed in group stage and now just La Liga as chance to get trophy but looks hard with left many points from Real Madrid. Beside financial crisis Barcelona will hard to get competitive with Madrid or Sevilla and Atletico Madrid.
I am not sure he came with the idea to build a whole roster, I think Xavi always liked to build a whole system before he cared about the players he has. He did something similar when he went to Al-Sadd as well, dude built a whole system. It is not weird, it is the classic tiki-taka style that he played for so long and he just wants Barcelona to go back to those days.

The players he has is enough, most players are enough, sure you can't have horrible players, but the roster is not horrible anyway, they are quite decent, they do not deserve to be where they are at the very least. All he needs is time to get the players practice the tiki-taka he wants them to play, and in a heavy schedule during a covid period it is hard to find time to train the players. This is his problem right now, with more time given to him and with more training they will be better.
2845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 26, 2021, 04:12:48 PM
It's really nice to see players step up when their main man is out. I respect Patty Mills game and I always thought he plays well when he gets more time or given more role like when he's with the Australian National Team. He was definitely came up big against the Lakers with over 60+% shooting! That's more efficient than Harden.
He always was one of the greatest player in Australia and was one of the best player in the San Antonio Spurs franchise. He did step up again tonight when the team needed him the most. Well-deserving win against a struggling Lakers team.
Too bad LeBron thought he had enough help with a bunch of veterans. I didn't even noticed they added another good veteran Darren Collison but still they aren't making any better.
Lakers next move will be very interesting because they might no going to stop collecting pieces to help LeBron from a struggling Laker team.
Also, LeBron received the worst Christmas gift he might ever had, a poster from Claxton lol.
As a fan of San Antonio Spurs I can say that Patty is one of the best at what he does. Sure he is not a wonderful defender, but he is very quick and bothers the offense when he is defending, he can only guard one position but he is pesky and that bothers other teams. He is also not expected to like make his own shots or pass greatly and all that, he was expected to shoot very well when he was with us and dude did that perfectly.

I am very happy that he is in a team that can contend for a championship, we are doing a bit more tanking these days or at least developing our players right now so Patty would not be using his talents 100% here and that's why him being at Nets is a great feeling.
2846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple makes a $1 price bull set for 2022 on: December 26, 2021, 03:43:28 PM
As the entire market is in the recovery mode but a slow stage, Ripple one of the most active coins in the last couple of weeks back has made it to All-time high of $1, coin telegraph made the revelation on the news platform this afternoon.
All time high is $1? If I remember correctly, ripple was trading around $1.9 by the times of this year April? Could you please re-check what or where is the misconception?

Sometimes people do calculate about the all time high in USD price levels and some people do calculate in BTC in values but here we both are talking about only USD values of XRP still we are not having same data. I guess something is missing over here. I remember Ripple was trading above 8k satoshi by the times of first quarter of 2018 and that must be the ATH in terms of BTC values (right now trading below 2k satoshi).
2847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why such high on tron chain too on: December 26, 2021, 07:41:22 AM
I was moving USDT, haven’t done on chain tx for a while. I was surprised to see the fee for USDT transaction was 16+ TRX which is almost $1.80 and at least 2x from few months back. Why TRON fee is such high suddenly? Or it's regular fee for the last few months which I haven’t noticed.
Not sure what is happening behind the screens of Tron team. Recently Tron's CEO Justin Sun stepped down from his position and from that news, I am seeing tron is slowly losing its value like from 180 satoshi to its current value around 160 satoshi. I have used Tron for my gambling purposes but I do remember the fee for transactions was less than one dollar. I checked on tronscan.org but unfortunately they are not providing any information on included fees. Not sure what is exactly going on with Tron but I hope Tron may peak again in 2022 for a new ATH.
2848  Economy / Economics / Re: U.S. Contemplating Isolating Russia from SWIFT Banking System on: December 25, 2021, 09:55:46 PM
Removing Russia from the SWIFT system is a bad idea in my opinion. We should try and find ways to settle for a compromise instead of escalating it more. Crypto currencies and decentralised ledgers could help Russia to get around all these problems. Isolating Russia more is not a good thing, it will just drive them closer to China.
This is where crypto shows how great it can be. USA has the power to take out Russia from a whole banking system, I don't know if they will do it or not but it just shows you that how centralized power causes a lot of issues. With crypto there is no USA that can stop you, if you want to send money from one wallet to another wallet you are free to do that.

So instead of using SWIFT and give people some regulations, if USA bans Russia then Russians could simply send crypto to people in USA which people in USA could deposit into Coinbase and withdraw to their bank account anyway. It could be a bit more expensive or not, depending on the amount, but it would certainly be a lot more freely done so without government getting in your business.
2849  Economy / Economics / Re: The Danger of Local Economy. on: December 25, 2021, 09:38:05 PM
Honestly, with some developing countries, their local currencies are more or less meaningless, and all important transactions are done through dollars, euro's or renminbi. So, mixing that in with cryptocurrencies is not that much of a strech. As far as it becoming the only currency? I highly doubt it because all serious investments in the country or serious projects being paid are being paid through other major currencies.
I have to say local economies are getting even worse but the big nations are getting a bigger gap each year as well. We had slavery and death and so much misery for the lower class while the upper class had super fun up until 100 years ago or so, then we started to grow a bit better, that crash during late 20's caused things to get a little better, and until around 60's or so things looked nice.

Around early 70's things started to pick up, and by the time 80's came with the cold war and all the gap started to look like there is a growing gap, not a huge one yet but the gap was growing between rich and poor instead of closing. And now we have a huge gap once again, not that we are slaves anymore, but when you can't pay rent, you can't go to the doctors without getting broke, when your cancer costs are as expensive as your house value, then I am sorry but that is not really the freedom we were expecting when slavery abolished, it is really only a whip away from being slavery again.
2850  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com suddenly banned my Account on: December 25, 2021, 09:21:02 PM
Sorry I haven't read all the replies but I would like to share my insight on this topic.

Stake usually bans sports players and their accounts (you are not allowed to withdraw warning) when the player is believed to have cheated in some way. Like you took advantage of late odds or wrong markets offered and cashed out.

Apart from that they ban players when there is a massive win and judging by your balance 2k doges shouldn't be a huge deal for them. Do you by chance any limits on your other stake accounts and created a new one? That's another reason they may have banned your account.
2851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 25, 2021, 09:06:04 PM
Inter are in a very great situation now. They are not just dominating the league. In the recent times, their closest opponents to them in the standings had really difficult games too while Inter were having much easier ones. And this was another factor that helped Inter open the gap with them more.
Inter Milan players have more experience than AC Milan players in Scudetto competition and it can help them to win it in this season. However, if the Scudetto race is only between AC Milan and Inter Milan that I doubt it won't be like that, AC Milan won't let Inter Milan to win this race too easily. It is like a bigger Milan derby, a derby for Scudetto.
I would guess that there will be a bit of difference for sure. I mean imagine it this way, if Inter keeps winning more and more, and Milan still has a bit of rare loss and tie here and there, the gap will be a lot bigger. I mean look at how well Inter has been going lately, and yes Milan is not bad neither but they look like a typical team that ends at the second position.

The difference is that both teams dominate the league easily, but one ends up losing unexpectedly. Same happened to Liverpool before as well, City dominated the league easily, Liverpool did as well and they beat everyone by a large margin but ended up with unexpected losses or ties here and there. I am not saying Milan is a bad team, they have the ability to beat any team in the league including Inter, but then they end up losing to a midtable team out of nowhere and cause themselves trouble.
2852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: December 25, 2021, 08:23:29 PM
Hamilton should be happy to have his title taken this year - this will draw attention to Formula 1 in the coming seasons and possibly give Hamilton some extra points to be considered the best driver in history. If he churned out championships from year to year until the very end of his career, then many would accuse him of not having real competition and his achievements are worthless.
The real problem is not that he lost, but he lost at the last lap of the last race and that's the biggest thing to overcome. I mean if he had a fresher tire or they did another strategy or they were a bit more lukcy so forth so forth there are many "what if" situations. If he lost by 50 points then I am sure he would be fine, give Max a few more wins where he crashed out like Silverstone or baku or hungary or monza or maybe all of them and Max would be way far ahead and Hamilton wouldn't be this upset to be fair. But ending up with just the last lap did made it hurt a bit more I am sure. I am not a Hamilton fan at all and even I felt a bit sorry for him that night.
2853  Economy / Speculation / Re: New all time high record | $66,000 on: December 25, 2021, 06:08:53 PM
There are many assumption that at the end of the year and Christmas the price of bitcoin will experience a correction because some traders want to secure their assets into stablecoin
I remember that we did not have any correction by the time of 2020 Christmas and New Year times. When there will be enough buying pressure then bitcoin market will handle any level of dump which is the scenario that we had experienced many times. Moreover, most people started believing about another bullish rounds in 2022 hence I am confident about less dump on festival times.

without realizing that bitcoin has started to crawl again from the price of $45k to a new price of $51k, this is a sign that it won't be difficult to break a new record next month.
I agree that bitcoin has already started its rally which will definitely persist. This time most probably bitcoin market will induce FOMO among investors and traders which is one of the most expected phase for enabling bitcoin to test $100k levels.
2854  Economy / Speculation / Re: TA shows potential bullish breakout - if history repeats on: December 25, 2021, 05:24:29 PM
The price really goes down from the last all time high we got. But hopefully next year will be different and that the covid-19 will be over so that we can see the market rally again without this news around.
Yeah I remember that by the times of this Omicron variant was identified, bitcoin was trading around $58k levels but market reacted to that and then bitcoin slide down to below $50k levels within a week time of span. I guess only retail investors might have pulled down their investments but long term holders might have continued which is the reason we managed to stay above $45k levels; otherwise we might have experienced fall-down up to $30k levels.

Now, it seems the time for recovery and then new ATH. I just do not want another ATH within $70k levels. I just dream about a big leap toward $90k to $100k. If history repeats then it should be a copy of what we had in 2017 and not just what we had some weeks back.
2855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who’s who in the gambling subforum? on: December 25, 2021, 03:31:52 PM
I want to know who are the experts in the gambling subforum. Many of my posts are made in the threads for NFL, UFC and Boxing.
What is the point of collecting such information? Are you into kind of any survey (still not sure how it could help in any means)? (I am sorry if you have already answered for such question; I could not find the reason for this topic in OP itself hence asking).

In my wild guessing, are you going to conduct any competition or similar to anything which are based on different sport events and going to appoint those experts in sport-wise for managing/monitoring or for any type of governing?
2856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: December 24, 2021, 09:36:11 PM
I'm not sure the French league or Ligue 1 is a weak league, because if the teams in Ligue 1 were weak teams then we'll get where Messi is now easy to score. But the fact is the opposite and Messi admits Ligue 1 teams are strong teams with high power gameplay, the teams in Ligue 1 are still strong teams and strong leagues too. There will always be strong teams and weak teams in every league, so I can't assume that this is a weak league although indeed, if we talk about Ligue 1 at least it's only about one PSG team. But the reality is not so, because the proof is that PSG itself is still difficult to get points even though the opponent they are facing is a team that is in the relegation zone.
I definitely think it is 100% a weak league. France as a nation has a huge economy compared to most other nations, maybe French people could be unhappy with their current situation but let's face it, there are maybe like 10 nations in the world with better economy than them, and most of them do not have proper football fans. So in a nation with a good economy and a lot of football fans, teams made a lot of money, plus with ownership that is filthy rich, it allowed PSG to be a great team in France.

However, put these teams all against EPL or La liga and you will see how bad they are, apparent from only PSG being really successful and even they haven't won UCL for so long. I would say Messi not being able to score is mainly due to him playing with the same team for 20+ years and now suddenly in a different team with a different tactic, not because the defense is good, PSG still keeps scoring bunch of goals anyway.
2857  Economy / Economics / Re: Did you realize in real life how Bitcoin gave us financial freedom? on: December 24, 2021, 08:53:07 PM
A few days back I went to the bank to withdraw my deposit. That amount wasn't much big though, but the bank just asked me many questions. And surprisingly all were fucking questions. They asked me why do I need to withdraw and where will I spend. This happened first time with me since I was abroad for a long time. Then I realize how Bitcoin gave us financial freedom. No one is there asking me the question to spend my fund. How fucking centralized banking system even you have to encounter many questions during withdrawal your funds. They are asking questions like I am beger. This was my real file realization of how Bitcoin gives us financial freedom.
I guess that you should be consider such question to insult you but you should treat it like their business model. When they are losing one of their customer's business then they will definitely try to make you to continue your deposits then obviously they will ask such questions.

When you are spending your bitcoin for gambling or anything which got less possibilities for good returns and if you have got such questionable people to stop you then you might have save more bitcoins than now. I am just stating this from my experiences as I have spent some some big money on investing into shitcoins and almost lost most of them.
2858  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Diversifying Your Portfolio in Crypto on: December 23, 2021, 08:45:51 PM
When Bitcoin moves 95% alts dumped. BTC moves up or down, Alts goes down. where we invest and no one can predict the market movement.

So what would be the right strategy of Diversifying Crypto Portfolio...
Altcoins are NOT the right option to go investing with for the reason of diversification. Because, altcoins may induce your risks against rewards as 99% of altcoins do not survive over the time. So, never try to diversify your portfolio within crypto space.

You should go for diversifying your portfolio with all types of investment opportunities which includes skills and personal-development. If you develop any innovative skills then you can easily earn and save which must be a greatest investment for entire life. If your skills working for continuous income stream then probably you may never need to worry on ROI as you can wait for any good returns.
2859  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you like to trading with meme coins?? on: December 22, 2021, 09:58:28 PM
Meme Coin is a well-known coin known as Doge, Shib and many more.
~snip~
Sure, but you're at great risk. Do the analyst in as much detail as possible, if necessary do not trade for the long term.  Regarding Shiba, Indeed Ryoshi looks very serious about developing Shib. They developed several new platforms such as NFT kamudian their latest penetrate Metaverse. Shib himself seemed to have a clear Use case and now they were trying to break out of the nickname Meme Coin. Maybe if dev continues to develop Shib they will become even more even in the next few years. I held a little Shib with cold money.
People who invest into these things know the risks they are taking for sure but that doesn't change the fact that some people also made a lot of profit from it as well. We have to realize the fact that there is a good chance we could make a great profit from it even though it is risky and they are shitcoins.

People like me and you see these memecoins as shitcoins which if you ask me they are definitely shitcoins but we do not realize the fact that most of their investors do not feel like they are in love with it either. They only care about their profits, buy it, hold it for a while, then sell it for profit and get out, that's all they care about. As long as they make a profit from it, they do not care if the fundamentals of the project is good or not, they only care about if they could make a dime out of a shitcoin before it goes to zero.
2860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 22, 2021, 09:36:39 PM
As for Dembele I think that this is the first time that he has not been injured several times in a row and it is difficult for him to adapt a bit because the injuries have kept him out of the field, but we are sure that Dembele is a beast and that he can catch a good level if he does his part therefore we will have to wait a year to see the evolution of Dembele. Barca is improving little by little and that's a good sign, now all they need to do is have a good transfer market and start playing with the Barca DNA and it will take time but maybe in two years they can be at the top of their game
Honestly Dembele or not, Barcelona should have been better so far, and should not be happy that they got a draw out of Sevilla game. That is their situation right now, they are quite happy that they managed to get a draw against Sevilla which is humiliating for them if you ask me.

Dembele could make a comeback and play with 100% and be a beast and that would still not be enough for Barcelona, they need to change the whole roster if you ask me. Their success came from having great youth team with la masia, and their demise came from them spending silly amounts on transfers and buying players outside of their club. Maybe they should look back into their youth team and try to find some more gems like Fati, that could be a lot better for them.
