2841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its coming i faster and would shock most people on: March 20, 2021, 11:10:04 AM
It is now a norm in our society that crypto investment is taking the lead in our daily transactions. Many years back we all saw this has a scam avenue. But today it is our major investment alternative and millions of investors are storming the market daily with their portfolio. So many are considering doing daily transactions within their enterprise outside our normal peer to peer. Waiting perfectly to the time when the world would try to centralize a decentralized currency

2848  Economy / Reputation / Congratulations to me on: March 16, 2021, 05:12:35 AM
I just feel i need to congratulate my self, Its been two days since i ranked up and its giving me excessive joy. My passion for bitcoin is making me give in my time so as to get proper knowledge about bitcoin and Crypto currency generally.

I have always longed to see my emotional expression if I eventually become a member in this noble forum and I can actually relate that irrespective of what you do the joy of making progress is inevitable. It always brings this sense of belonging and actually tells you that you are adding value to your existence. All this has been my state of mind this few days. Seeing that I can actually transit from one level to another with little effort. This actually means if I dedicate myself to learning I would do more and still make myself more proud of the new levels I will be assending in the near future.

I'm actually not in a hurry to earn I think the learning is more paramount here and with time the earnings will flow in naturally. Am not eager for a campaign I still have a whole lot to learn and I know am in a perfect citadel of learning and every bit of information I would need to improve on what I have started is deposited here. Nevertheless my commitment and dedication to what I have started and the passion to which I approach every information given and received plays a vital role in how much I accumulate and how long it would take me to accumulate all that.

I'm so overwhelmed with joy I know I might be reminding someone out there the highly ranked members (full member, senior member, Hero member, legendary) their emotional state when the got member rank.

Excitement is inevitable because it gives this sense of belonging and makes one feel he is also adding value to where he is and what he is doing. Am so much ready to give in my time to knowledge if I can achieve this within this time frame then more are yet to come in if only am humble enough to learn and appreciate the tutelage obtainable on this forum and in the world of Crypto generally. At this point my window of research and creativity is open and am ready is explore knowledge like I have never done before adding value to my posts and making every posts count. Making every post worthy of passing across meaningful contribution to the existence of this noble forum that has made Crypto influencers, crypro investors, crypto innovators and cryptopreneurs.

I must confess am actually learning new things and adding to my existing knowledge thanks to all who give corrections to posts because this makes posters especially newbie, jnr members and members understand quality in what is expected most and not the thrend. Deep appreciation to the moderators the are really making every one go the extra mile and also bringing out the best in every one am indeed greatful. I believe am motivated to research and making sure every post and reply count
2849  Other / Beginners & Help / Please can one say private key is 100% secure on: March 14, 2021, 08:15:18 PM
I saw this post and got a bit confused can i get clarity. private key, also known as a secret key, is a variable in cryptography that is used with an algorithm to encrypt and decrypt code. Meaning this key is hidden behind blocks of codes only unique to the user. Secret keys are only shared with the key’s generator, making it highly secure. Private keys play an important role in symmetric cryptography, asymmetric cryptography and cryptocurrencies.

The complexity and length of the private key determine how feasible it is for an interloper to carry out a brute force attack and try out different keys until the right one is found. question 1. Please does this mean that the private key isn't 100% secure since interlopers can carry out attacks on wallet.

How to choose a private key
Private key encryption is referred to as symmetric encryption, where the same private key is used for both encryption and decryption purposes. A private key is typically a long, randomly generated number that cannot easily be guessed. Question 2. If this be the case why would interloper force an attack on this encrypted key Since only one key is involved, the process is fast and simple.

Secret key ciphers generally fall into one of two categories: stream ciphers or block ciphers. A block cipher applies a private key and algorithm to a block of data simultaneously, whereas a stream cipher applies the key and algorithm one bit at a time. Symmetric-key encryption is much faster computationally than asymmetric encryption but requires a key exchange.

Most cryptographic processes use private key encryption to encrypt data transmissions but used public key encryption to encrypt and exchange the secret key.

Challenges of private key encryption

While private key encryption does ensure a high level of security, the following challenges must be considered:

Encryption key management can become too complex if each user has their own private key.
Private keys need to be changed frequently to avoid being leaked or stolen.
Question 3. Please I don't understand this section can I get clarity
.
If the private key is forgotten or lost, the system is broken and messages stay encrypted.
Question 4. Does this mean once a private key is stolen or lost it can never be recovered?
Significant computing resources are required to create long, strong private keys.

2850  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advantages and disadvantages of keeping Smerit on: March 14, 2021, 11:03:01 AM

But come to think of it could there be any need to hold back an smerit if a post duely deserve it or is it been politicised that is given based on connection, influence, constant participation. I believe it is meant to be awarded irrespective of individuals. Quality posts deserve to be acknowledged with credibility so as to encourage participants on the forum to do more and put in more effort.

Your post is a little bit confusing because there should be no advantage of keeping the smerit and not distributing it. If you just keep the smerits with you if will not only delay the progress of other quality posters ranking up but also it will discourage them to research and make good posts.
I agree with you. But if you look at it from another perspective nothing with disadvantage that doesn't have an advantage even negative influence.
People hoard back smerit for different reasons and this reasons is what I want to find out so that I can  learn on how to improve on my activities in the forum
2851  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How beginners prepare surprises. on: March 14, 2021, 07:53:49 AM
Most posts are often deleted due to plagiarism and repeated thrends. I will commend people who check out for plagiarism and spam because this adds value to our posts and make the forum more creative and educative.

2852  Other / Beginners & Help / Advantages and disadvantages of keeping Smerit on: March 14, 2021, 07:21:44 AM
From my understanding merit system introduced in 2018 became a way of adding value to our posts making the system more real and competitive. Upon this development many improved in their quality of posts and others tool to researching new topics daily. This has made bitcointalk forum more interactive and has distinguished different users on the same forum making every member hungry for knowledge that would add value to the crypto space in respect to all aspect of life. Many specialized in crpto politics, others are into general crpto discussion, some specialize in the economic aspect, we also have people who are into gambling. All this features made the forum a favorable one for everyone. Irrespective of your area of interest making the forum an interesting and educative centre for scholars willing to explore the world of blockchain technology.

But come to think of it could there be any need to hold back an smerit if a post duely deserve it or is it been politicised that is given based on connection, influence, constant participation. I believe it is meant to be awarded irrespective of individuals. Quality posts deserve to be acknowledged with credibility so as to encourage participants on the forum to do more and put in more effort.

are there benefits of holding back smerits I would love to hear your opinion although I have a few advantages and disadvantages to share with my fellow elites:

Advantages
1. It compels members to add quality to their post
2. It makes the forum understand we are all here to learn
3. It builds confidence and triggers research
4.it makes you commited to the system

Disadvantages
1. It affect your confidence if you haven't found what interest you most on the forum
2. It makes you feel you are wasting your time
3. It makes you so desperate thereby neglecting the essence of the forum

I will still love to know your view on this we are all here to learn. Every one was once a newbie and came to their various ranks through dedication. I believe this should be a perfect avenue to encourage others so as to attain heights that would make them relevant to the forum and also improve their quality for the sake of knowledge and interactiveness
2853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Too many coin in circulation on: March 13, 2021, 10:02:56 AM
Altcoin is increasing by the day thereby causing the market capitalization to appreciate greatly. Although it is creating high volatility in the market but at the same time most investors are scared of investing in some altcoin due to fear of several factors that could lead to the depreciation of such coin. Crypto investment over the years has made so many rich and also has made many bankrupt as well, knowing how to select coin from the wide range of coins available in  crypto market would help reduce the losses that one might encounter while searching for coin to invest in. Although the market is always busy and has high volatility the mission behind most coin as well has its utility might not meet up with the crypto block and therefore much depreciation might befall such coin thereby causing great losses to the investors.
The fact a coin is cheap is not enough reason to risk your treasures to acquire them. Make sure you "do your own research" to avoid loosing out of the market. Always pay close attention to the coin you might have in mind to Hodl. You should find out what problem it is solving, its competitiveness with other crpto currency. If it really has value in the crypto market and also its demand over time.

The following factors could also serve as guideline to selecting the right coin to invest in:
1. How useful the coin is:
2.is the purpose of the coin legit
3.Analyze its competitiveness
4.Demand and supply
5.market capitalization and founders holding
6.the general value
Answering this questions will clerify you on the right choice of coin and also aid you to know when to buy and sell. Paying close attention to market volatility will aid you know the utility and demand of each currency and it will also aid you towards predicting the trend of each coin so as to know how to account for each coin.

The mission behind each altcoin varies and taking accounts of the mission behind each coin helps in predicting the movement of the coin over time.
2854  Other / Beginners & Help / The knowledge we seek on: March 10, 2021, 04:06:25 PM
What comes to your mind when ever people discuss Crypto currency? Does imaginations with lovely fantasies colour your mind or you only get stucked in the Midst of opportunities open to generate a life lasting fortune for you and your generation unborn?
Knowledge is paramaount and to every business proper understanding on how its been transacted is important.

As beginners I came to understand that in other to make quality posts one need to spend enough time understanding the concept and paying kin attention to the terminologies used in every sector of Crypto currency and other related boards. Taking for example mining which involves executing simples tasks in which one of it is rolling of dice. This forum might remain strange to newbies and the message sent on daily basis might remain a hidden mystery if learning from existing quality posts before engaging in creating new topics remain the trend.
My advice to newbies would likely be to pick atleast two or more active forum posters who has quality in their article and ensure reading their posts with proper understanding each time the post new articles and also how the reply to existing posts so as to add to your existing skill thereby adding tremendous value to your articles.

Making quality articles on what you have little knowledge about will only limit the quality of your post so its advice that studying and understanding the terminologies of Crypto as one of the ways to improve on how we make our posts so as impact proper knowledge and add value to what we do in this world of coin.
2855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bitcoin is fueling Tesla with Elon Musk $1b in profit on: March 05, 2021, 12:20:24 PM
Elon musk whom I might tag a chief stakeholder of bitcoin worth $1.5 billion making him to a large extent a key player and determinant to what ever value bitcoin would appreciate or depreciate to in the nearest future.

Quite a common misconception: Elon Musk doesn't own the $1.5 billion worth of bitcoin, because it was bought through Tesla's balance sheet, not necessarily Elon's bank money. Also taking note that Elon Musk only owns a chunk of Tesla, and not 100% of it because it's a public company where people worldwide invest in it.

Elon musk been the CEO of Tesla although not a 100% stake holder of the company has the entitlement of assigning the networth of Tesla to his name although he might not have the legal right to make person transactions with the assets but still have that benefit of assigning the companies net worth to his name
2856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bitcoin is fueling Tesla with Elon Musk $1b in profit on: March 05, 2021, 10:13:35 AM
Tesla Ceo Elon Musk having over thrown amazon CEO
Jeff Besos the second time as the world richest with net worth of over $199.9 and taking brilliant decisions by investing in bitcoin outside his electric car innovations. This is tremendously adding value to the crypto space and making bitcoin appreciate faster than we can ever imagine.

Elon musk whom I might tag a chief stakeholder of bitcoin worth $1.5 billion making him to a large extent a key player and determinant to what ever value bitcoin would appreciate or depreciate to in the nearest future.
2857  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / I wish I could loop through coins on: February 15, 2021, 12:33:37 PM
Just as cryptography is making waves in our society today I have always wished I could loop some coin repeatedly into my wallet so has to acquire enough for  my exchangers. Coding has made me wonder beyond the scope of our everyday experience mostly when I consider the while loop, for loop or even recursion. Using this loop within a function makes it even more crazier.
I have been wondering for some time now if coding has a link with cryptography or are the two repelling against each other?. This has given me lots of concern and I wish I could get recommendations on how to go about this knowledge if it really exist. But I strongly believe this could also be a point of concern to other programmers out there who might want to add crypto value to their programming skill irrespective of the language.
Although the  wallet is built upon chains of indented codes each executing its own task but my worries is how about the coin held in the wallet what can one say is the secret to its technology what could be the building block for this noble invention. in my quest for this classical knowledge in which other coders more enlightened than myself would help clarify me on this subject matter so that if need be I can Write codes into piece of block that could make my cryto experience more fun and profitable. I always stick to this word which goes "let your knowledge pay you". I would end with this question are crypto miners relying on programmers ?
2858  Other / Beginners & Help / Why am I here? on: February 15, 2021, 12:10:46 PM
Each time I study to discover the hidden blocks behind each crypto currency I tend to appreciate the technology behind decentralized currencies. Really it worth applauding because it has made our world of transactions a more reliable one.

Left for me knowledge is the principal thing, understanding the real concept of crypto currency and the mind behind its technology keeps us at an edge where we control larger volumes of valuables in just a single transaction without multiple desk verification.

Devoting my time to this could be worth it in a long run and might earn me a credible knowledge which would help me in decisions like where to invest and what to invest in. With the advent of several crypro currencies emerging every day in the blockchain industry one need to have a hand full of proper knowledge on how the market system operate so as to know which market capitalization is best for each coin.

with the level of investors trooping into the industry I feel it has a way of adding more value to what it currently has and never the less making investment more reliable and portable without carrying bulky files as claims of ownership rather a digital format access to owned assets.

learning a new skill requires patience so is understanding the crypto space. Understanding the block behind each cryptocurrency doesn't just take place within weeks or months, this process requires pain taking studying built upon decipline. Studying to understand the concept other than studying to make a post.

I draw my conclusion on this bitcoin talk would be a perfect place where knowledge could be assertained if we contribute to knowledge and add value thereafter

2859  Other / Beginners & Help / If am not ranking why am I here? on: January 30, 2021, 09:54:52 AM
If ranking is not my concern why should I be committed
I know I need to learn that I haven't negleted
If nothing motivates me then I shouldn't be persistent
Help the newbies so we wouldn't feel intimidated

Everyone loves to make progress
If I don't upgrade what then would be my gain
If its not paying why should I be here?
Don't crusify me yet too once felt this way

Its feels good to feel among
When you see your idea has a voice
And gets credited for what you have done
So we wouldn't toil for naught

Am not saying we should sell our choice
But in all let's help the odd
In so doing we can improve their guts
And make them give their all in all their thought

2860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: January 30, 2021, 07:39:07 AM
In countries where bitcoin isn't legalized it is advised to trade them on decentralized platforms like binance. In binance you can always convert your coin to fiat when ever you desire to withdraw them to our centralized currency.

Staying out of the part of government authorities is always the best. Investing could also be a perfect form of making profits from your coin on monthly/yearly returns
