Thanks I am spending quite some time lately with Torcoin. I believe with future development of the Windows wallet, the community is going to respond to massively. Torcoin is lucky to have you as their marketing manager. Most manager wont do as much work as you do to keep the project clean. They will just leave the blame to the devs and say that they are only in the marketing area. I am now sure that this coin does have a nice community that will support them. U mean slomoniex? The exchange is gone to rubbish I think. The site is now having alot of trouble with payouts and trading with lagg. We better get on bittrex, that site is more trustable. Yeah, Bittrex should be our primary objective. Torcoin is already $1.If it goes to bittrex, it would be 10x of today's price. Well, that didn't quite prove it, but sent you 0.5 TOR And removed the challenge, it wasn't a bad idea from Longtonmie but it's pointless since we recently had Kaspersky, Avast, Bitdefender, Eset, Webroot and Cyren whitelist Torcoin. |

Just in case anyone was wondering, Iluvbitcoins works for TorCoin. He is an admin on TorCoin website. He has a stake in this coin so he is trying to make it look better.
I don't have stake on torcoin but I just wonder how did you know all of this,if you invest on a particular coin you will try to make it look better especially if you invest big,he could be just an investor but what made you post he is the admin or the dev of the coin. I research anything before I invest. I don't trust things blindly. Thanks. I am sure this will also be resolved like what happened to other antivirus reports against Torcoin. My browser prevents me to download the .exe file as well jfyi at the moment also because mcafee web alert is not allowing me unless I whitelisted it. I will be waiting for the results until then. PS. Also sent the email to get TOR listed in bittrex. Goodluck to us  Yeah, McAfee will be in good company soon as we have ESET, Bitdefender and Avast whitelisting Torcoin. I have sent a false positive to most antiviruses but the big ones we're waiting except for McAfee are AVG and Avira. From the big ones it's nice to note that Malwarebytes never scanned Torcoin as malicious at all. A reply from Kaspersky! |

You can't cease a cryptocurrency, you can try to affect the exchanges though.
Tor Project has shown no signs of trying to put down Torcoin, they merely let out a statement letting people know they're not running Torcoin and that's it.
I agree a disclaimer should be put on the front page that we're in no way associated with the Tor Project.
I don't feel it's a major concern but it should be addressed.
This issue is causing a real concern in some quarters which has landed the op some red trust and that alone is a tag here that people take seriously even me myself, I had to go check it out why the red was there to get a better understanding. I still believe a disclaimer to clear the issue raised and the red trust will bring an end to the lingering issue any time anyone visit the thread but disclaimer will allow every one get over it and move on. Exactly, I believe this should be addressed because new investments will probably not even look through the thread after seeing the tag. |
