2841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I started instilling a bitcoin saving system on: January 25, 2023, 03:10:49 PM
You made a good decision OP but actually, your bitcoin savings is a good investment step you took and I believe you are ready for the risk involved. As we all know, bitcoin market is volatile though and there is always ups and downs too. However, you already have a backup plan which is the fiat savings and that would be able to cover you and your family when the time for urgent needs arises. Nevertheless, I believe your bitcoin savings is a long term holding as you and your family have agreed so that you can be able to make good benefits from the savings and moreover, I would advise you keep taking advantage of the current market situation now so as to accumulate more of bitcoin in your savings. If you have already plan holding bitcoin fraction by fraction, that's is a good one for you. I wish you and your family a happy bitcoin holding.
2842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THE ROLE OF BITCOIN IN EFFORTS TO HELP FLOOD AFFECTED COMMUNITIES on: January 25, 2023, 11:02:13 AM
Weldone OP. You did a good work. This act of kindness can not be hidden or swept under the rug. Your good works would speak for you in time to come. However, I believe you did not only just donated to them like that and also from what I have read, I am well pleased with your kind gesture. Hope you did teach them on how to save their bitcoin when they purchase it and letting them know that their bitcoin under their custody is very much safe being in the custody of a third party exchanges which the safety can never be guaranteed. They should be conversant with the phrase " not your keys, not your coin" and possibly tell them to check reviews in exchange before dealing with them. Letting them know about wallets is another because I believe they have no idea how it works. Let them know the Best wallet for them which will cost them little amount for gas fee.
2843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today my client became the largest Bitcoin ATM company in the world! on: January 25, 2023, 10:43:15 AM
You call them your client, and I ask, are you the software developer that built the ATM software for the machines for them? Anyways, congratulations to them for their new purchase as it is the dream of every one individual to grow in every  aspect of their endeavor.

Quote
Evan built a platform trusted by some of the largest Bitcoin ATM operators in our industry, both domestically and internationally, including the Chivo network in partnership with the government of El Salvador.
I see they are a major player of the El Salvador bitcoin ATM machine channels. They built the software in partnership of the El Salvador Government which has been a success in making bitcoin accessible by the El Salvador nationals. This is a good move by them in making sure bitcoin is accessible in accordance to the massive bitcoin adoption movement.

We truly believe that this new combination of the best minds in our space will be the catalyst for the Bitcoin ATM industry evolving into its next phase.

Sure thing that this merger would yield positive results as there would more Bitcoin ATM point globally. This i think you have done well and will spur more adoption of bitcoin globally. The bitcoin ATM machine would help ease cash withdrawal as it has always been for internationals travelling around the world without much stress.
2844  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paypal are scammers like the FTX bitcoin exchange on: January 25, 2023, 09:39:10 AM
I have come to realize that it is mostly new bies that got registered newly on this platform are mostly here to lay complaint. Before I proceed this post is likely to be an accusation so therefore it does not belong here and should be moved to scams and accusations board (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0) so it could be effectively looked into but come to talk of it,  PayPal is not a Crypto or gambling organization so how do you want the bitcointalk platform to intervene on your behalf? You also made accusations against PayPal without any factual evidence as these you posted here are just mere write-up with no proof to back your claims. I would advise you to register a copper member so you can be able to upload pictures as proof and for sight seeing. Atleast from all I have said, you can be able to know what to do.
2845  Economy / Reputation / Re: Admins, ban jollygood and scamvirus on: January 25, 2023, 09:20:09 AM
I believe you know there are procedures this platform would follow before anything of that nature you have said could be looked into. At first, these are senior forum members you are talking about for ban which would need you to provide proof beyond reasonable doubt which you have none as I can see here. You made a comment about a previous thread but where is the link here, do you think people would believe you by just this mere post without any link to previous thread where you said you have started with such claims  and also, no proof of your point on false accusations by the names as mentioned by you.  I would advise you to let the bygone be bygones. Like as @little mouse has said, that forum does not moderate trust feedback and I think it would be difficult getting them banned for the tag on your account but you can still appeal your tag if you insist.
2846  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FAKE UNISWAP and OP Airdrop on: January 25, 2023, 08:53:56 AM
I saw the airdrop too but I  was quick to discover their trick. These days scammers are really smart and working hard to drain people of their hard earned resources. One should be careful the way at which they log into sites connecting their wallets all in the name of airdrop. Now the Airdrop scam pattern is if you have interacted with their site before you can claim a free airdrop for early adopters which is fake. They do this because previous mega airdrop such as uniswap used  that pattern for their adopters and beta testers and that was why it could be said that many got the airdrop with easy and now scammers are using that pattern to wanting to rake our people's funds off their wallets which I think would be difficult of only the people are aware of their gimmicks.  OP, you did well by unveiling this for bitcointalk  participants to see. With this, we can thread with caution if we come across such.
2847  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How NEPA dey treat you for your area? Good or bad? on: January 25, 2023, 08:02:44 AM

2848  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The high increase of insecurities in Nigeria, how do we combat this? on: January 25, 2023, 07:43:33 AM
The level of insecurity in the country is so high that the government's efforts to combat it are underappreciated. Nigeria is a large country, and bringing its people together in peace and unity is not an easy task. We have numerous languages, cultures, and beliefs that do and react differently to things. I believe this is one of the reasons the Nigerian government is finding it difficult to deal with insecurity, but they are doing their best and I applaud their efforts. I hope they are successful in addressing insecurity in the country soon.

Oh yes the government are really doing good with the fight against insecurity and insurgency in the country. So far I have come across updates on the federal government providing more sophisticated armour and military devices to combat and curb insecurity. I will commend them for that as it is a good move by the security agencies to pushing the battle to the insurgents but however, if I may ask, when the poor have no food to eat do you expect them to stay idle, the unemployed youths roaming around the streets looking for jobs or is it the the one with a good business plan but no money to help support the business? You see all these things are the little things which are of good effects in the society but they are not really given that opportunity to work with. So tell me how do the government want to stop the insecurity in the country when all these minor challenges are not properly looked into. I was passing by a particular event going on in my state and I saw people running towards a particular place to form a cue these are youths, elders and children  and I inquired to know what was happening and to my greatest surprise, they were running to form a cue for payment, just to receive peanut and I was baffled. This is how terrible the situations of Nigerians are so tell me how does the government want to stop insecurity in this kind of situation?

Nigeria is a large country, and bringing its people together in peace and unity is not an easy task. We have numerous languages, cultures, and beliefs that do and react differently to things. I believe this is one of the reasons the Nigerian government is finding it difficult to deal with insecurity, but they are doing their best and I applaud their efforts.

Sure they are doing their best but I think the issue of diverse ethnicity is not the major cause of insecurity neither is it language nor belief but the government should step up their game in human capacity development.
2849  Economy / Services / Re: Betting offer on: January 25, 2023, 07:04:35 AM

This is very interesting OP. You did not give us proper update on your offer for which you created this topic as to properly make us understand very well. You made me feel skeptical of this offer and I will be sincerely saying this, these are the ways scammers do their work, you might have good intentions but the way and manner at which your offer was presented does not portray it as genuine. One would look at it and say this is another scammer wanting telegram users to begin spamming. This post does not show any sign of seriousness from you as the OP and if you can see from other comments, it is likely no one would reach out to you for further information as you did not really put it clear here and  you should be contacted when no proper information on your offer.
I would advise any one dealing to be cautious  while dealing.
2850  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Inec voters verification 2023 Election on: January 24, 2023, 08:40:23 PM
As the date for the 2023/general election draw closer, we have quite a good number of development in Nigera and one of which is the adoption of electronic voting and inline with the new electoral law that will allow inec to conduct a free and fair election,  and to achieve that is the adoption of electronics voting which is part of the electoral law passed recently,  and in practice inec have adopt a numbers of ways to get the electorates prepared ahead of the poll every registered voters in Nigeria can now verify the status of their voters card on the inec website.
Below is link to verify your voters status
https://voters.inecnigeria.org

We thank God fir the development. It is dynamic and we pray more development continues. We are about adopting the electronic voting process inline with the new electoral act,  and I want to ask this question, is Nigeria ripe for electronic voting? When there is epileptic power supply and internet brigandage every where not to talk of our local communities that are not even digitally inclined how do they do about that.  Internet Service is poorly available in the villages and most of the communities are near inaccessible some are island and difficult to access as well. What is the possibility that the process would not be hijacked by hackers to  work in favour of their paymaster who are desperate to win election. I hope the inec are fully ready to  deliver service as promised. This time around no more stories.
2851  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: CBN: Banks to pay N1 million fine daily over failure to collect new naira notes on: January 24, 2023, 02:28:16 PM

Quote
The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Godwin Emefiele has slammed commercial banks for not issuing the new naira notes. Emefiele warned that any commercial bank that failed to issue the new naira notes to customers would be fined N1 million on a daily basis. The CBN governor, who was represented by the apex bank’s Deputy Director, Adeleke Adelokun, issued the warning at a sensitisation on the new naira notes organised for market women in Ayegbaju International Market, Osogbo, Osun State. He said that the apex bank had printed enough naira notes to serve Nigerians.

“As of today, CBN has printed enough new naira notes of N200, N500 and N1,000. But, what we discovered was that most of the banks that are supposed to collect the new notes have not collected them. So we have put a sanction on the banks. Any bank that fails to collect the new notes from CBN will pay N1 million as sanction per box per day and the amount they are to pay now will depend on the number of days they have not collected the notes,” he said.

Source: https://dailypost.ng/2023/01/20/banks-that-will-pay-n1m-fine-over-new-notes-emefiele-reveals/

This measure by the apex bank dey good because we no kno wetin dey really happen with this new naira notes as people dey complain up and down say ATM machines still dey dispense the old naira notes. Before CBN set the 31 January deadline dem suppose don make sure say dem don print enough new naira notes. It's very likely say e get some persons or group of persons wey want frustrate the work of CBN with the new note circulation for their own selfish reasons and in my own opinion I feel say the one million naira fine too dey small. We just get about 10 days remaining, I doubt if this new naira notes fit really go around. Wetin una think?

Na all these kind of news dey make me laugh. Just the topic alone wey I read I tire. Based on the topic matter, say CBN go pay #1000000 as fine every day as e be say dem no dey collect old naira note. You ehn this our country Naija na so so play dem dey play with everything. Now I want to ask question Dem say CBN go pay #1,000,000 to who na? Na de  one wey Dem want to use dey collect more money every day if possible dem go still extend am say Dem no fit meet up the dead line to dey collect #1,000,000 everyday say as e be now the money no go round naija. When Dem talk like that nobody go fit do anything about am.
2852  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Fuel Scarcity Discussion: NNPC sells petrol for N148; private depots, N215+ on: January 24, 2023, 12:25:59 PM
Sometimes I ask myself questions. How can Nigeria the giant of Africa and a oil producing nation be running shortage of products unnecessarily? Product price hike, hoarding of products etc all these bothers alot. Is it that our leaders are bereft of ideas  on how to navigate the petroleum industry or what? It is saddened that atvthis level we are still experiencing scarcity of fuel. What a miasma! O sorry for Nigeria. This morning product was sold at #300 and last week I saw on one of the dailies that the federal government has reduced or approved the new pump price to #185. How come they are still selling above that pump price. Anyways, private stations are doing there own while the federal government are doing there's.
There are lots of questions yet to be answered by our leaders. When the appropriate time comes, they would be made to answer the questions they have been running away from.
2853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did you have Faith in BTC? on: January 24, 2023, 09:03:41 AM
Bitcoin was developed for a decentralized purpose and for that purpose I have faith in which no one has autonomy over. Over the years, there has  been market speculation about bitcoin being a scam, fud, this and that but bitcoin still strived on without any barrier. This alone built my hope and faith in bitcoin. Bitcoin started right from scratch then it grew very strong to a global technology which in years cannot be wiped off. It has already been recognized globally and the adoption rate is growing up stronger and stronger every day so therefore it would be a nice idea every one single individual take advantage of this opportunity of the current market to be a bitcoin holder. Nevertheless, to the best of my knowledge, various governments at different quarters have been trying to regulate bitcoin but they could not which makes be believe in the bitcoin movement. This alone is a strong indication that bitcoin has come to stay.
2854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which company will be next to accept Bitcoin? on: January 24, 2023, 08:36:06 AM
Every day many firms accept bitcoin. I think we should also talk about the little vendors too that accept bitcoin as a means of payment for services why I say so because these vendors do business on daily basis so therefore mostly very hour, they do transact which is also very important in the blockchain but these big firms do only carry out transaction mostly once and that as well but let is give cognizance to the little pretty traders who on their own decided to accept bitcoi as a means of payment, they on their own in their own little way contribute to the adoption which we have longed for  and this is very important because they are at the grassroot  so therefore it would be nice that such takes place In the more global adoption and acceptance process.
2855  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I discovered this service thanks to my campaign [SellDefi] on: January 24, 2023, 12:56:07 AM
This idea is a good one. I like it that way it was designed so that one can access any file for purchase online be it documents, video, audio or pictures, without knowing who is selling and who is buying which is probably a good safe measures unless you want what you put up for sales to be sold fast and then you send link for it. I see this type of trade does not require much stress and worries for who to buy and sell. Some people even prefer their identity to be hidden in this type of service.
Now I want to ask you a question,  how do I do about files being uploaded by a seller for sales but it contains virus bug and unknown to both parties the files has been corrupted? If after downloading  already, what would the buyer and sellers so as support
2856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin always shames social media experts. on: January 24, 2023, 12:26:54 AM
Sometimes I wonder if these social media acclaimed bitcoin price analyst do really know what they are doing. Sometimes the way they run analysis on bitcoin would make you feel they know everything about bitcoin than Satoshi himself. They do wrong analysis an bitcoin price trends and most times  they end up shooting themselves on their own foot as a result of wrong market analysis and faulty forcast. I do not for once listing or follow them but I do review price chat myself to know what is obtainable in the next bitcoin market if I want to trade. These gives me a guide on what to do.
2857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto banks replace traditional banks on: January 23, 2023, 10:45:51 PM
Fiat banks can never fade away since Fiat still exist. Banks deal on Fiat which are the locally acceptable in various places. Banks do rely on government to deal on Fiat compared to Crypto which is decentralized and does not need anybody to approve of it's operation but looking at your topic, Crypto banks are likely already existing. If I may ask you, where do you store or save your Coin and token? I know you would say wallet and exchange and I ask, where do you trade your coin and token which I also believe you would say DEX and CEX. Now I ask again, these Dex and cex you have been dealing with, what are their roles compared to the banks we do store values and money? Is it not the same thing? But only difference is that banks are licensed by the government but Crypto is never  and I think  with time,  there would be a good integration of system which would mean that you can be able and free to deal on either fiat or Crypto in the same bank.
2858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I managed to invite 1 of my friends to invest in bitcoin on: January 22, 2023, 11:46:28 PM
Congratulations on inviting your friend to investing in bitcoin. I hope he or she would get through as time goes on. This is the awareness and the kind of news I would rather anticipate to hear. You have done well OP. I hope you were able to take your friend all through the stages involved. It would be nice you tell your friend about the market volatility and how it is so as to avoid some unnecessary  stress when it happens so that you will be free of blames and regrets. Did you let  him or her know about the phrase " not your keys, not your coin"  hope you told your friend exchanges are not a permanent safe box for funds and assets.
2859  Economy / Gambling / Re: Onikabet - Powered by Fast Token by Softconstruct on: January 22, 2023, 08:54:56 PM
Looking at OP activities, OP is not really active here and he just woke up from a long time sleep with a new thread promoting a casino and a token at the same time. This looks like one being paid to shill the casino which is far below standard and if OP is likely the owner like the first commenter has said, then it very bad of OP to have take  such a step. OP should get registered as a copper member e upload some pictures of the casino site for viewing and illustration for better publicity which would attract more participants to commenting and making reviews which would be of help to op when updating the casino.
I would advise any one wanting to deal with OP should do his or her own research by conducting due diligence. Do not fall for scam.
2860  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nebeus: the easiest way to send money to a Crypto Casino!! on: January 22, 2023, 07:59:23 PM

Almost most of the reviews on that trustpilot in Nebeus are not good experiences and some were just 2 hours ago, 2 days ago, 6 days ago, and so on.

Source: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.nebeus.com

I was going to give a good review and post that I might recommend this platform to some friends who are in need of this service but after looking at their reviews I have to dig deep because if a platform has 25 1 rating against 66 good ratings then the platform has an issue on serving their client and not good in recommending it, there will be people who will look for a third party to trade their money and send to casinos, but this one is not good to recommend.
Making recommendations about this platform to someone might put you at risk. I would advise anyone wanting to deal with them to do their own research before going into any deal with them. I have seen the reviews and they are not one to reckon with such review does not portray them in good image as their reputation is dwindling. For OP to have mentioned them here, I think OP did not do his or her due diligence before taking up such task and coming here to tell us he receives his salary with them and making reference to us as to get our way in which I believe nobody with his or her right senses would jeopardize their salaries with such activities and come to talk of it, the possibility and tendencies that the platform is a scam is very narrow. I would advise any dealing with them to be cautious and do their own research.
