hmm, 20$ up for grabs in crypto and 28 of 300,000 take the offer? weird.

Your work is an important "barometer" for this coin. Thank you for fixing the data output.

Thanks Wink (also to Skarfur)

keep in mind my stats can easily be gamed, though. It counts every transaction of amount 636 AUR, no further checks wether it's really an airdrop tx are done.

Just a thought. Would it be a big deal to compare the transactions to the pre-mine addresses?

I don't think the transactions come directly from the premine addresses. Would have to allow for a couple of jumps maybe, I'm not sure. I haven't looked exactly how the coins move from premine address to airdrop recipient, to be honest.

bears become bulls and bulls become bears.

Those that refuse to change their mind in the transition get stung.

true words, man. It's hard, though. Also: timescales.

Nobody has a clue that this is being distributed.

Yes, that is correct. Nobody knows about it as it has not been announced anywhere. This doesn't mean it's bad or something to have great concerns about. There are 4 months where people can claim this and during that time we plan to lift this coin up.

I agree. No need to hurry, you guys need time and the exchange will bring enough attention. I hope you can pull it off... it's no simple thing.

I just got my coins from phase #3 of the airdrop. Baldur is doubling the amount, was 318 AUR in phase #2 and is 636 AUR now.

Assumed this is correct information and created page to track #3 airdrop claims:

http://blockexplorer.auroracoin.eu/claims.3.html

77 16 claims so far (if correct)

please let me know of problems.

The column data is different from yesterday regarding (for 2nd airdrop):  block_minutes | rate_per_minute | rate_per_hour

yes, the previous calculations of those columns was incorrect (made assumption of at least 1 airdrop tx per block). I fixed that (hopefully). So block_minutes should be roughly equal to the aggregation interval (currently 4 hours for 3rd airdrop).

I also fixed this for 1st and 2nd airdrop.

Sorry if I screwed something up on your end. I can make the old (incorrect) versions available on demand.

Hello! I can not properly write command "sendmany" in windows auroracoin-wallet. Could you give me an example of writing this command.

Seems you got it to work?

Judging from this block, for example: http://blockexplorer.auroracoin.eu/block/223d8d58149dccc75a97471bbf08070a8c7af8acd2d7569ee6e8e696776190bf
at least somebody is able to issue sendmany.

Sizeable tx spam of 0.0001 AUR to many different addresses, continuing.

What's that about?
2850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUR] Auroracoin - a cryptocurrency for Iceland on: November 25, 2014, 10:07:28 PM
4120733.4 Airdrop coins in circulation, 39.25% of a total 10,500,000 Airdrop coins.

where do you get this?
2851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUR] Auroracoin - a cryptocurrency for Iceland on: November 25, 2014, 10:06:03 PM
Anyone know if it is 318 Aur per person this time or not?

I see nothing about it here

http://forum.auroracoin.org/

It was 31.8 AUR in March when I got my coins.

You should be able to claim 318 from 2nd airdrop and an unknown amount from 3rd (upcoming).

Here is a current update on the claim process.

[snip]
Is it just me or is that a very short list? Where are all the shareholders? Huh

Exactly my thoughts.

I can understand though... monitoring this threat has been painful.

Probably many have left and will come back claiming once some real money flows.

damn, I was going to help, but I can't get it to work either.

It seems quotation-marks are removed in the debug console input, but they are needed for valid json.

I tried

Code:
sendmany "" {"Address1":10,"Address2":10}

but I'm getting error:

Code:
Error: Error parsing JSON: {Address1:10,Address2:10}

(note the missing double quotation marks)

maybe I'm doing something wrong?

ah! got it to work. escaping the double quotes helps:

Code:
sendmany "" {\"Address1\":10,\"Address2\":10}

"Maybe the largest unknown store of physical gold in the world is the Vatican Gold. For nearly two thousand years the church has been hoarding gold gained from wars and conquests in the name of God. Throughout the ages people have been shoveling vast amounts of gold into the collection trays every Sunday. The Vatican gold hoard is a closely guarded secret but I believe that it may be the largest collection in history if you take into account all the gold used in the artwork, crosses, trinkets, coins and cups owned by the church. The Vatican is all about privacy, secrecy and power and I guarantee you they know the true value of gold."

Didn't Italy have money problems? Wink

The Pontifical Swiss Guard is in between the Vatican gold and the Italians.

2857  Local / Treffen / Re: Hamburg Bitcoin-Treffen, 1.

Now I have no idea how to keep the trezor with me all the time Sad

That little plastic bit where the cord wraps around seems pretty sturdy. Im sure you can think of something to interface with that.

a zip tie?

It seems that this retracement was good for shorters Smiley
What I noticed is that short positions are a lot more dynamic than the long ones.

You would be insane to short long term in this market.
That's right, but holding leveraged long positions no matter what does seem strange to me.
If I want to have long-term position, I'm simply buying coins (no leverage) so that I'm not stopped out Cheesy

That's prudent. Not everyone is prudent, it seems.
