Did you ever gamble with other's money to pay your own debts or otherwise to solve a certain problem through gambling?

How would this not create more problems? You would have to be crazy, this is almost like borrowing money from the bank and buying stocks on margin

Used to love blackjack - but can't seem to get away from Dice at the moment...

I am doing the opposite right now, I used to love dice, but I cannot get away from one deck blackjack playing 3 hands at one time. Dice is too based on "luck" at least with blackjack you can control it to a degree
2845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: January 15, 2017, 02:27:22 AM
If you think about it, when you win or lose in gambling, the brain experiences excitement or sorrow when you win or lose respectively.

Seriously your brain feels any excitement everytime you lose in gambling? Go and get yourself checked if you feel that way because it is just very weird. I'd admit that I feels good If I win but that doesnt really force me into going for more, Some people actually are just plain stupid that they think they could win everytime they play

I dunno, I get excited when I lose so I would have to agree. Its not the same excitement that I get when I win, but it is more like an angryness excitement  that I lost and than I make stupid bets and lose more. But usually I try to step back when I lose, and turn it off and walk away when I am on a losing streak.

I've got one but I live in the netherlands.
Would be a shame to cut it open...

Wanna post pictures of it with your username and the time /date on it?

This is such an odd request, may I ask why you had it graded if you didn't want it in the slab?

As others have stated I'm certain you could remove it from the slab easily.   Wink

If I remove it from the slab it is essentially a waste of $20+shipping. I didn't get it graded.

Gotcha, I thought you got it graded.  The shadow box idea you mentioned seems pretty neat, do you have any photos of what that would look like?

Thats what I was thinking. But I have a long way to go. I am missing all of the one of a kind coins, and everything but the rounds, nasty penny, and the 1 OZ coins

But.. Why?? None of these silver or gilt coins that I have seen on here so far have ever graded less than 69? There is no valid point in doing this IMO....  Huh

it is currently in the mail from MJ to me, I should have it early next week, however I do not like graded coins so I am looking to trade for the same exact coin only ungraded. US only. Looking for some btc on top of your coin for mine. If I do crack it, I will post a video.

Lolwut?  Tongue

It still cost $20 to get it graded and shipping to and from.

I am planning on putting a shadow box up with all of OGs coins, and the graded one would not look right if I didn't have all graded coins and the 5?/10 OZ cannot be graded...

I actually have a few slabs that need cracked... Maybe I will make you a quick video. The costs of shipping and the risks makes it a no brainer to just crack the slab imo.

I would appreciate it, but from the picture, it looks like the coin is in an airtight, is it?

Cracking slabs is really easy and if done right has almost no chance of hurting the coin. Let me know if you need a pointer on how to...

Hopefully I do not have to. It would be a waste and I think this is a pretty decent grade kind of sort of+$20 to get it graded, but I vaguely remember seeing something about cutting the corners off possibly. I  would like some tips tho!

I dont know how I missed this, but yes they were sold unfunded but I loaded them. The buyer funded silver lealana will also be funded shortly along with the F*D #9

But... Why? Tongue

Isn't that the whole point of an assembled coin for them to be loaded with their face value?
2854  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SELLING] Lealana / Nastyfans SHIBANU / CI / HardBTC set / F*D and more w/PRICES on: January 14, 2017, 02:29:57 AM
I think the two newbis on here are the same person from rereading the messages they posted here

Horrible time to bump this but o well

Are these your alt accounts killyou? Seems like a lot of bumping is happening without any action from those two. If not I'd perhaps report some of the comments, and maybe reopen this thread but make it self moderated?

I don't think a self moderated thread would be good for business, and my only alt is killyou73 and the prices of the assembled shibanus have been adjusted to reflect the loaded doge on them

Did you load them??  or did they come loaded???

AFAIK, they were sold unfunded.

2855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your average bet per game? on: January 13, 2017, 04:55:30 PM
I tend to bet no more than 1 mbtc unless I am on huge losing streak and I am trying to break even again, sometimes this works, most of the time it does not. (on dice.) But I like to bet 10-25 mbtc on sports betting
2856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Win using martingale system? on: January 13, 2017, 04:12:00 PM
Or you use a dice site that you can bet 1 satoshi, but gambling is called gambling because there is no sure way to gamble with the possibility of a 100% winrate because if there was it would not be called gambling. Unless you are a professional player or possibly extremely lucky is the only way you win, or win by stop gambling

2858  Other / Meta / Re: What is the purpose of signatures? on: January 13, 2017, 09:08:35 AM
But if 1 person the DT list went out of their way to leave negative feedback on lets say, 100 members in active signature campaigns than this would make them be kicked out of such said campaign because 99% of them do not allow "red" members to participate. But if the "red" is not clearly justified and this is all done in one day, I think issues would arise for such DT member

I think the idea to go after managers is better as its their job to do something about the spammers they ban as much as its the moderators.
Indeed. Going after managers or services themselves is bound to be more effective than playing whack-a-mole with people who own 5-10 (if not more) accounts. This still comes back to the question whether it is appropriate usage for DT and whether we should do it or not. An organized effort between several DT members could swiftly deal with this problem.

But managers are here to promote their site, will it really matter if they have red trust or not? Just look at bitcoin AG...

However, I do not see anything in the forum rules that alt accounts are wrong, or joining more than one signature campaign.

But most signature campaigns have clauses that limit one account per person in such campaign.

What is the issue with one person with 5 accounts in 5 different signature campaigns as long as they are not spamming?
2859  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [interest check] suicide raffle on: January 13, 2017, 03:35:32 AM
I'm probably in, but I have questions.

(1) What kind of coin are we talking about? Most of them have zero numismatic value?

(2) Who's going to run escrow for the coin and all participant payments?

(3) How do we verify that the drawing was legit and fair?

Thanks.

1. My bet is that it will be a lealana blank funded with .16 or a paper wallet funded with .16

2. Are you serious? Are you new? Wheelz doesnt need an escrow

3. Have you ever seen a raffle here before? Have you heard of the blockchain, and how auctions here a block is picked in the future in an uneditted post and the last character of the hash is the winner.
2860  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best casino operator on: January 13, 2017, 03:28:44 AM
Personally, I think bitcoin AG is. They did not want to pay out a jackpot and changed the rules afterwards, if they took investments from the public (not sure if they did) they are essentially protecting their investors by doing this. From an investment stand point, I think bitcoin AG is the best site's bankroll to invest in because of this
