2842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: LUCK!!! :) How does it feels? on: May 31, 2016, 01:47:04 PM
Did you ever got lucky in gambling and betting?  In gambling it will be a great memory to be smiling at if you got the lucky jackpot.  In Sports Betting Luck is minimal it is a kind of chance tosser to back your analysis and comparison for a decision. Usually you need luck when its gonna be a tight match it is like a head and tales result.
It always feel good to be lucky and now that it is you that have just one won it all. Everyone loves that feeling but we do know that it does not happen all the time.

That is why after the good lucky feeling you still have to be in control of yourself so that you can decided on what to do next.  A big luck is an achievement in betting because, it is what we aim for no matter how many times we lose.
If only we know when will our luck strikes then we could easily beat to a lottery to win millions or huge amount of BTC if there is an online BTC available for betting, then afterwards we simply just completely quit gambling and invest our winnings in crypto market.

Ok guys lets finish talk about OKC and GSW.

Now just start talk about the rematch between GSW and the CAVS

Most of people here in this thread is GSW fans

You think guys GSW will take the crown again?

I really think CAVS have chance to beat GSW this year,
last year CAVS with some injury players, but this year most likely to have a full health team.

Cavs for the ring this time!

But seriously, its true, the Cavs are complete and healthy this time around. Let hope they remain that way, especially Kyrie. For game 1, I'm betting on the Cavs. They're well rested, and IMO, better prepared for this.
I agree, it's good to bet them in game 1, game 1 is always the deciding factor if who will most likely to win in the series. Cavs have an advantage in game 1 as they are more rested compared to the warriors. Please take the moneyline and enjoy your winnings. Thank me later.

2845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Simple NBA Finals Betting on: May 31, 2016, 01:18:33 PM
Who do you think that is going to win the Nba Finals of this year. This is the second time in a row that the GSW and the Cavs are facing each other in the Nba finals. I think that the GSW are going to win it again this year.
I think Cavs need to win this one cause their city has not won a championship since the 60's and that is for all their sports teams.
They deserve it I think.
With the help of the organization(refs) they will, they even barely can't beat the raptors poor shooting so how can they beat the warriors. Lebron for me is good but he is overrated, kobe is better than lebron as lebron has no good decision making in crunch time of the game. So i choose the clutch team which is the warriors.
2846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: May 31, 2016, 01:05:31 PM
After LISK and DAO, does anyone still think an investment in WAVES would be a smart move?
I think LISK has a higher trading price than the ICO price, so people who invested during ICO have profited on lisk. Correct me if I am wrong. Grin
2847  Local / Pamilihan / Re: coins.ph discussion thread on: May 31, 2016, 01:01:46 PM

2849  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: May 31, 2016, 12:47:12 PM
I have a very small holding at the moment, that is why I can't afford big purchases yet. The most that I can spend on are to pay bills and load credits for my phone. I am still looking for physical stores where I'd be able to buy things I need everyday for more convenience.
Holding bitcoins at this moment is good rather than spending. The kind of spending you do is also a good one .if there is physical stores accepting bitcoins as payment i think it will be the best to use ,but i think it will have a tax with it.

That's right it is better to hold your bitcoins, all of it. Because the sign of the upcoming halving is near to come and the price today is really high.
And how about, if the halving did happens for sure, higher price than we are expecting will happen.
What happened to the price now that it's acting like crazy was the result of the halving hype, people are buying and holding for bitcoins awaiting the halving for easy money but when the halving is done stable price for BTC again is what we will witness. Enjoy the halving fever people.
2850  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: May 31, 2016, 12:30:49 PM
governments simply aren't interested in incorporating bitcoin. they can't deal with the fact that it is something they can't control. paper money will stay at least for another 10-20 years.
Paper money is going to stay for another couple of years because it is going to be a whole process to make everything digital. I think that it is going to be different per country because not every country can afford it.

Paper money will always survive and it will always be used by majority of people and bitcoin can never take over paper money in future too.

No, paper money will be gone in a decade. When asked, Christine Lagarde said that she doesn't believe cash will exist in 10 years, so do the math. We are going to a society with no physical cash, this is why Bitcoin will be worth thousands of not millions of dollars a coin. I don't understand how many times I have to say this until people realize.

People don't really want to use digital money and goverment will not do smth like this without agreement of others. And after poll i think we will still use paper money.

Yeah people dont really use digital money cause you know, credit cards arent digital right lol.

I dont see the debate here, cause government can be involved if they passed some fincen money transmitter law which can be accepted if they wanted.
well wouldnt that be the same thing to say that bitcoin is not digital because you have to use a telephone to spend it like you have to use a credit card in order to spend your money

in my opinion in the future there will be no paper money left at all because all people will be using cryptocurrencies as they will become more and more popular at a very rapid pace
Doesn't sounds realistic, there will be certain percentage of people who will prefer to use paper money even in the future, its impossible to believe that paper money will simply disappear.

It is not impossible. It is always possible that humanity will totally switch from using paper to digital money. If digital currency will offer ease of access, then it will be more used. Problem is, right now, like in our country, not all places have access to internet. But if the time comes that internet and devices is accessible to everyone, then digital currency will be used more.
It's possible my friend but the chances are very low, how can you implement digital currency to a place without internet, to those uneducated people who only knows the conventional way of transaction and for those people who are hesitant for change, you cannot attract all to go to full digital as they have their own convenience.

a very interesting match if GSW and the Cavs could happen, then it would be a very interesting match. Both teams had an excellent game. However, for the winners in the NBA Finals I think the cavs will get a chance to be a winner, because the piracy is still based on GSW 3s
cavs have an edge because they already got some rest and home court advantage with the big three of cavs which show healthy game now big chances to win this but in the other hand gsw got the intensity since winning back from 3-1 that's the fighting spirits. can wait to see the finals.
Their edge only as I can see is when they play game 1, although this game is played at the home of warriors but they are more rested team so I think they will win in game 1. The rest of the games would be warriors IMO. Although cleveland cavaliers are healthy but if they cannot defend the splash brothers they still lose the series.

2853  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: May 31, 2016, 06:48:38 AM
For me the best investment strategy is to buy altcoins at its ICO price, sometimes you get a good profit and sometimes you lose on shitcoins but what's matters most is you profit overall.
You can't seriously call putting money in altcoin ICO's investing...

That's the same as gambling as you just need luck and some hope that the price will shoot up to high levels.

For me i dont really trust ico coins knowing mostly of them made just to scam people just like what happen to ophion an ico coin made for past weeks and scammed a total 17 btc for their first week of running to their investors and how shameless to them for running in their opening day thats the reason i dont trust ico coins for now,  instead i do treading and my strategy that i follows really is to monitor its 24 hours volume, price ups and downs 24 and chart by that i may know the coin will dump or good to buy and sell.

ICO is bad i dont go for that and in some future i wont
some decent alts are good for me mostly i gain something was it small or big, off course you have to lose something but for now i have upper stream for good investment in alts
i dont go greedy cuz in this situation think that what you gain you will loose

In investing anything can happen, we lose and sometimes we profit, its like gambling for sure but better that gambling in terms of chances on profit. Like I have notice we have a good altcoins that has and has not yet release, so we can join their ride and invest. I could recommend the waves and DAO.

2855  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: May 31, 2016, 06:38:25 AM
In the future far from now the paper money will disappear because everything would be digital and nothing will go with paper things anymore.
Its just a matter of time in my eyes.

Do you think your eyes will still see that happen? I dont think so. Why is it that so many people are so damn being Nostradamus whenever they got hold of an online money. Be real. Dont watch too much movies. Go outside see what is really happening in the world.
Paper money will always be paper money and it will not disappear in market circulation. Bitcoins is good and the digital world is good but we have to admit that everyone cannot use digital money due to lack of education or they just don't simply benefited in using it.
2856  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: May 31, 2016, 06:30:21 AM
If you don't own a house already, then it may be advisable to purchase one. But in my opinion, one should hold on to the majority of their coins, at least till the time of their retirement. Bitcoins are protected against inflation through the principle of controlled supply. The purchasing power of Bitcoin will rise as more and more people use them. The appreciation in value of Bitcoin will be much more than that of real estate properties or bullion. So be careful when you sell your coins for fiat.
I should follow your advise now as it is so realistic, I understand that bitcoins has been widely use all over the world today, therefore if they will continue to patronize bitcoins we can see some massive adoption in the future and would really affect the price of bitcoins, the price will go high and the value of what we are holding will increase.
2857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost & made around 3 BTC today on: May 31, 2016, 06:10:38 AM
In gambling we can make profit its possible but we need a lot of discipline to achieve that, we need to take gambling slowly focus on winning and always follow your game plan, the most vital part is the proper bankroll management. I am in the losing side but I am beginning to recover my losses and hopefully in due time I will get back in the winning track.
2858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with the Price Changes? on: May 31, 2016, 05:52:12 AM
I measure my poker bankroll according to my overall income....My poker bankroll is set at twenty percent of my overall monthly expected income and I never put more than ten percent of my poker bankroll in play at any one time.  Bankroll management is the most neglected attribute of those who suffer from problem gambling....It's a necessary requirement to be a successful player.
I agree, whether you win most of the time or let's say you have a good winning record in gambling but you have lack of discipline in managing your bankroll you are prone to losing your entire bankroll in just a span of time.

2860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: May 31, 2016, 05:38:47 AM
Probably yes, as I gamble mainly for fun, so being rich wouldn't affect me that much. I might do it less though, as there isn't that much of a point gambling while rich. Also, if I was rich, I would probably want to hold onto my money.

It's a matter of, do you like  being rich? And do you like to keep on being rich? If the answer is both yes, then avoid gambling at all times. Gambling can give you money SOMETIMES, but most of the time it takes them away. So better stay away from it, rich or not.

But many in these forum are saying that a rich person would not have a problem in betting on gambling even if he loses because they are filthy rich, Well I think that they are delusional money are not forever and that will surely be all be gone soon if you continue to pursue the risk involve in gambling.
We are talking here that it the rich gambles even with huge money at stake as long as he can afford to lose it would not affect their lives, gambling for them is just an entertainment. By the way, I am saying it base on my experience. Rich here man!, I'm in the house. Grin

Woa, that is cool! like what i have been saying, the rich plays just to enjoy the thrill of gambling, not about winning the money. Also it can be a great time for people to hang out together to play and talk about it.
You hit it right man, rich people do gambling responsibly that typical gamblers don't. They reach to that level of being rich because they are smart and responsible so they won't allow gambling to ruin their life and take all their wealth. For them, its just a pure entertainment and they get the excitement they want even though they lost a lot of money in our eyes but its just immaterial to them.

but sadly to say this is not always the case, even rich people will lose their control. There is a lot of cases whereby the rich people losses all their possession over a table of gambling. There is even news reports on rich people suicide cause they lose everything in a week.
But at least they are more matured than a typical gambler as they have a lot of money and they will protect it whatever it takes, for the typical gamblers they gamble with desperation, desperation to earn huge amount money with a little amount as starting bankroll.
