2841  Economy / Gambling / Re: This is why I love this forum...and we should make it more powerful on: February 03, 2022, 01:02:20 AM
I hope people don't get the Idea that posting their issue on a gambling site here in the forum will solve their problem. and most of the time, it won't. I don't deny that the(or a) forum can sometimes put pressure on a gambling site but overestimating the influence a forum can have on the decision of a gambling site on their issues can give someone a false sense of hope.
Well, it certainly sometimes don't, but it does give traction to other players to stop using the site though. I mean, yea, Ig in that case it's a needless task since the one that posted it wouldn't really get anything out of it, but at the very least, other users wouldn't fall into the same predicament. It's just like how people share who are the scammers, even if they can't get what they were scammed back, it's a pretty nice thing to do imo. Plus, if there's a chance, why not do it no? Especially if said forum (not just here specifically) has a mod or two that's active, you can directly talk about it with them easily.
2842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was finally able to purchase an iPhone 13 pro max using my Bitcoin on: February 02, 2022, 01:35:31 PM
Lol, My target was not to buy i phone 13 pro max. It was my dream to buy it. I went to buy another company's phone like Oneplus.  But after going to the showroom. I became interested in buying an iPhone 13. And when the shopkeeper decided to accept Bitcoin, I bought it easily.
Well, I guess you were pretty lucky since the store was willing to accept Bitcoin, congrats! Honestly, even if you consider the future price of Bitcoin when you bought, it stands that it's still in the "future", while what you're going to use for your phone is in the present, so I'd reckon it's a good purchase nonetheless. Plus if you're hodling a pretty sizeable amount and you're holding for the long term, I reckon spending a bit wouldn't hurt you that much. It'd be kind of dumb to use Bitcoin to pay if that was everything you have invested though, hope OP didn't do such a thing.
2843  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are the best ways to choose a casino on: February 02, 2022, 08:04:54 AM
Well, some gamblers prefer to stay anonymous when they gamble. Its one of the reason why they dont want to comply to kyc specially they're just an average gamblers. It would be better if this is optional on a casino. If you want to raise your limits then you need to comply on their kyc requirement otherwise you can play without worrying about it.
It bloody has no purpose if it was "optional". I mean, users would just simply avoid using it anymore, and besides, KYC isn't something that is supposed to be optional, it's supposed to be something pretty much guaranteed by the casino to be done to users once a certain criterion has been met. Even then honestly, they still hold the right to do KYC even if you didn't meet the criteria, all because they're pretty much the owner of the casino, nothing we can do about that.
2844  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io -Welcome the a new crypto friendly casino!!! on: February 02, 2022, 05:06:08 AM
Welcome to the forum, I'm guessing crypto was a recent add on to the site seeing as the website was pretty old, and it seems like others have already seen the casino in the past?

I opened the site and was greeted with a "not available in your jurisdiction" pop up but good thing I can still view the home page. You said Metamask integration will come soon so I'm curious how will you implement the country restriction once it is live?

Some members may ask for license sooner or later so you can also add that in your post as a positive.
License was below, the footer part, Curacao license under 1668/JAZ. As for metamask, I don't think it has a country restriction? The casino itself may have one though, just like what happened in your case.

First of all, Welcome to the Forum.
Secondly, it would have been great if you could add some nice designs to the OP in order to look attractive.
Coming to the site and ANN, you have missed the info about the KYC and allowed countries in the casino.
Also it will be more beneficial for the site if someone will remain active here in the forum, and answer to all queries.
Nevertheless, wish you and your team Good luck for the future.
KYC procedures were in the site, it's pretty standard really.
Quote
Livecasino reserves the right to carry out additional KYC verification procedures for any withdrawal exceeding 2,000 EUR or the same value in cryptocurrencies, as regulated by our gaming license, and further reserves the right to carry out such verification procedures in case of smaller withdrawals, as demanded by our gaming license.

So yea, even with small withdrawals they may just slam you with KYC. So give up on trying to actually play expecting no KYC, no, they're pretty much gonna slam you with that once you start going into their game.
I think you mean to say bitcasino, for me this new site looks quite similar to bitcasino instead of sportsbet. Anyway, I do not think they have any connection with sportsbet or bitcasino. High likely they are trying to use similar design or probably bought similar gambling software/script. I took a look at the terms page of livecasino and I can say more than 95% are copied from the terms of bitcasino.

Okay, I think it wouldn't be odd for both sites to have the same UI, they're owned by the same company, Moon Technologies B.V. Take a look at the footer of both sites. Licenses seem to be registered under the same company name and address.
2845  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for Feb on: February 02, 2022, 01:20:01 AM
Dead cat bounce. As much as I want to say with how Bitcoin is going to bounce back, it doesn't look like it's going to happen, at least until after a few more months. We're still going to go through that period of decline though, I reckon it wouldn't be odd for the entire year to be on the decline, but I don't think it's going to go down by that much. Probably just a steady slow decline before bouncing back. Still a lot could change, we're only on the 2nd month of the year after all.
2846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pay for coffee with Bitcoin on: February 01, 2022, 01:27:47 PM
Maybe idk, create a social media page first instead of posting about it like this? Then just link that page to the post or to an advertisement in the marketplace or something. A lot better as a form of introduction to your supposed to be made coffee shop. Heck, you should've started introducing it locally even before here, that is unless you were offering some online assortments that deliver globally, then you can start introducing it to a global audience, such as here, where the majority (if not all) are Bitcoin enthusiasts which is your target audience.
2847  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 5 Slots Games to Play in 2022 on: February 01, 2022, 11:31:36 AM
Have tried out a few, King Kong Cash and Mega Fortune before afaik, been a long time since I've played slots though most of my recent sessions were poker or blackjack sessions (though I'm mostly doing sports gambling instead of casinos anw). Might try them out if I get the chance to play again and I remember about those titles, especially since afaik I enjoyed my time with King Kong Cash when I first tried it out. Had pretty enjoyable graphics afaik, plus the system itself.
2848  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on its way to $100000?! on: February 01, 2022, 06:11:31 AM
So doesn't that mean that we'd still need to wait whether it would go down or not? Nothing changed from the original wait-and-see a game that investors and traders do. We can only hope for the best and probably react if the market even dips further (for those who have invested). For those who haven't, well, any dip at this point is a pretty good entry point so I don't see an issue there.  I honestly don't think Bitcoin would be able to reach $100k this year, and even if it did, I hope it doesn't, it's going to be a bubble imo, not really something I'd look forward to in the long term.
2849  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to buy? on: February 01, 2022, 04:01:34 AM
Is it a good time to buy now? It looks like the bears have subsided. 30k resistance point is still holding strong. What do you guys think?
This is the umpteenth time I've read about a topic like this.  Cheesy
Well, let's see how many people will also again ask this question when the price has been rising up in the future or even when the price backs to drop again.
What I see also is about many people will be buying bitcoin when the price is going to rise up significantly in the hype when the price is at more than $50k. But they are too afraid of buying Bitcoin when the price dropped enough to approach $30k.
This is the psychology of Bitcoin buyers, not investors (some of them).

If you ask me, I will tell you, yes, this is the time for buying. Every time is a good time to buy. Moreover for a long-term hold.
Can't be helped I guess, people would always ask the same questions every time since the price does change, so their pov of what to do would also change. It's kinda odd really, since most recommendations would always say buy low sell high, and yet people would still ask. With the mentality of each increase means that being the new "high" and each dump being the new "low", it should be possible to at least follow that kind of setup. Or they can just DCA to make all these issues go away.
2850  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction: Low was $34K or will be ~$25K on: January 31, 2022, 01:37:38 PM
I'd wait for the $30k wall honestly before doing anything. If, and only if, we ever do go below $30k, the path downward wouldn't be that fast imo, it'd still take some time for the market to go below even if it is going to go below $20k. Honestly, I even doubt if it was going to go below that level, I reckon we can experience people buying in at $25k levels already, which could quickly pump up the price. As for it going below $10k, I hardly doubt that. It might take forever for it to recover if the market ever goes below that level.
2851  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best strategy for crypto trading on: January 31, 2022, 03:34:41 AM
Hey, it happens you know, you try something out, it doesn't work out, live with it and move on, especially in trading. There would be a LOT of times where your strategies wouldn't really work out, try checking out the problem. If it was your strategy, then maybe integrate what was wrong to make it work, but if it wasn't, then just stick to it, you might just generally be unlucky. Honestly, most advice would just revolve around buy low sell high imo, but other than that, well it's more on the specific take of the user (you) on the market. After all, no one really knows what the market would end up with a day or two after.
2852  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to buy? on: January 31, 2022, 01:05:48 AM
Well if you think it just "looks like", then you don't really know what's going to happen with the market, just like with most of us really. I won't deny that the current market point would be a good spot to invest in, but it doesn't mean that the market wouldn't subside or dip down any longer. If you were investing for the long term, then sure, almost any dip could be called a good investment point but if you were shorting then well, that's a bit more difficult to tell really, or honestly impossible, since no one knows what the market will do.
2853  Economy / Economics / Re: If you don't buy don't come here to complain on: January 29, 2022, 04:54:03 PM
Another opportunity has created for new investors to have some good coins listed in their portfolio. Many who bought higher now leave at the mercy of the market but for those who were scared of how high the price flew within a short time now has a better chance of joining the market at a good market value.

My agitation now is no one should come back shouting about missed opportunity in the future I think since late last year the market has been a bit fair to new investors giving them opportunity to join the train. Everyone can be a millionaire in crypto attitude towards market volatility is what makes the clear difference
I mean, that's not how it works? People are naturally like that, if they missed something they could've gotten they'd naturally complain, can't really do anything about it. Sides, I'm pretty sure most people who'd actually complain are people who lost the opportunity to buy it at that price and instead bought it at a probably higher price.

Well if they really did complain cause they didn't bought, well that's pretty dumb imo.
2854  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino behavior that turn you off on: January 29, 2022, 04:11:44 PM
Well, given that most of the gamblers here talk about KYC.

I second that the lack of good support representative isn't a good impression. It's the reason why some gamblers are staying on a casino because of the friendly support, admins and moderators.

And that gives them the idea to make good promos and bonuses for those loyal customer that are staying with them. We can't blame those gamblers that go from one casino to another if they find the ideals of these factors.
Facts. Honestly, KYC isn't that much of an issue sometimes, it's just that the way they ask for it is kind of dumb and stupid that users bloody hate it. Asking for KYC when withdrawing, asking for KYC when originally it wasn't there, those kinds of things are the ones that are irritating but having KYC stated in full black and white at the start? That's pretty agreeable since I can just leave the site and choose to go to another casino.

As for customer support, well that's always a number one kind of thing. I'd always want an agreeable customer support, one that doesn't just half ass you when you're trying to inquire stuff.
2855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I invested $100 for 18 years for my new born nephew on: January 29, 2022, 03:45:10 PM
Great job from OP. $100 might be small now but who knows, 18 years is a long time and a lot could happen in the market during that time. I'd suggest investing at least monthly, or yearly if montly isn't possible though, just so that you wouldn't need to rely that much on that sole $100 to bring you profits you'd use for your nephew's growth. You're investing in the long term after all, might as well maximize the investment that you'd do if you can handle it. Honestly doubt it'd be enough, increments of Bitcoin has been decreasing with every new peak after all.
2856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will owning 0.01 BTC really make you rich? on: January 29, 2022, 03:05:31 PM
No, not really. If you were talking about its future value then it's rather unknown, since well, it's in the future. I guess the only advantage of buying BTC that can be seen right now is that, well, it's not fiat. It's a lot better than hodling it as fiat honestly if it was extra money you wouldn't exactly use it immediately. Possible future advantages include the price increase therefore the value of the amount you hold would increase (or decrease) in USD, avoiding the inflation of fiat, those are the ones on the top of my head but there's probably a bunch more really.
2857  Economy / Economics / Re: Which business profit model do you prefer? on: January 29, 2022, 01:32:23 PM
I'd probably go for both markets? I mean if it was possible, I'd go for both. It's a very niche market imo, though you'd probably have some issues with trying to serve a LOT of customers, but well if you're at the top of the chain, you'd hardly have any problems later on. Having a market for the rich requires you to be rich yourself, so it's going to be pretty hard to actually start it out if you aren't, well, rich. But if you are, both options are pretty plausible imo, though the rich market would probably be easier to set up your business in.
2858  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leverage Trading on: January 29, 2022, 11:23:57 AM
Any trade with leverage leads to a complete collapse.  There are practically no people capable of controlling their even mental state for a long time.  This is constant stress. and a breakdown, eventually.

This statement will be true in relation to beginners who do not have experience and trading strategies with leverage. If you have learned how to trade on the spot market and have not lost your deposit, you can safely switch to margin trading, but at the same time you must comply with risk management.

It’s actually not, and will not always be true, because even experienced traders are also affected by human emotions and some other patterns of behavior, causing them to be vulnerable in making mistakes sometimes. They are not robots,  although they make less mistakes than newbies. Plus switching to leveraged trading is not as easy as your post is telling everyone.
Well, it is relating to newbies instead of experienced traders though. I guess what OP was saying was about how newbie traders would "always" experience breakdowns and stressful experience, compared to experienced traders, who experiences everything all the same BUT they do know how to handle their emotions properly and would rarely let it run out of control. It's probably easy in terms of switching since you have experience, but the risks would still have the same problems all the same.
2859  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is the best crypto provider to give you advice on how to trade in crypto? on: January 29, 2022, 06:15:22 AM
They do take advantage into those people who do lack knowledge or simply doesnt really have any idea on whats going on and its better to read up communities suggestions and recommendations about things.
Just like those people mentioned above that having your own trading analysis would be much preferred on where you could act on your own without relying others speculation which might cause
even more hindrance and confusion towards your own analysis. So its better to be solely dependent rather than on relying into others.
There's the internet as well, a sea of resources you could find and use to start your trading journey. It might be a bit of a hassle though since you don't know where to start, now that's where you can ask people. If they ask for money, then leave it be, but if they were willing to share it, since most of it is general knowledge stuff afaik, then it should be really helpful in setting your path. Honestly though, the first step starts with having the money to try out trading first, since that money could let you help experience stuff.
2860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If football is Legal in most countries why is Gambling Prohibited on: January 29, 2022, 02:50:17 AM
Agreed, gambling and sports are different industries. Here sports industry have the ability to move on its own. The gambling industry is much dependent over the sports industry, but for the same OP have misunderstood that gambling need to be legal when the sports is legal.

As said governments have different policies which portrays why gambling is illegal in the country. Also there were more sports/games are illegal in different countries. For example cockfights, there are countries and people yet conduct those games and gamble over it.
Sports gambling is dependent on sports, but not gambling necessarily. I mean we have casinos out there that have their own gambling games such as slots, dice, blackjack, etc., so it isn't necessarily bound to sports. So even if just, for example, a country banned sports for some dumb reason, gambling could still thrive and vice versa. The two don't need to be allowed for both of them to thrive, they're two separate industries after all. If we were to actually specify it to sports gambling though, then yea, OP has it the other way around, sports gambling was just a byproduct of sports themselves imo, without sports, there wouldn't be sports betting.
