2841  Economy / Reputation / Re: Another Bitcointalk account seller. on: October 04, 2019, 05:05:02 PM
Another newbie wants to sell bitcointalk accounts. should be tagged by DT. The everyday day some people are asking sell/buy bitcointalk account. How we stop them? tagging is the only solution? There is no deferent way? How it is that if starting rules that newbies post will be visible after admin approval?  It can be the first 1 or 5 or 10 posts needed admin approval?

Firstly he is selling it at shoppy.gg where it is easy to scam the buyer. The buyer will pay for the account and in return he will get nothing.  Smiley
There are many sellers who do not have accounts, they just get the money for the accounts and scam.

Secondly, I do not agree with the idea that every newbie post should be made with the admin approval. There are so many newbies and all of them are not selling the accounts and it will not be feasible for admins to check each post and then approve it. And even if they implement this newbie post restriction, they need to first change the rule to prohibit the account sales and make it NOT ALLOWED.

18. Having multiple accounts and account sales are allowed, but account sales are discouraged.
2842  Economy / Gambling / Re: 2dice.io - new design - new impressions! Play for free, test your luck on: October 04, 2019, 04:44:19 PM
No, the project is working. but he doesn’t get a promo, I hope he will soon fall into good hands and will get up)) I have already received several requests ..
nothing changes for players !!!! I personally control the obligations to you
It's not a long time you have launched your gambling website. Now after only a short time you are talking about selling your project. What is going on is not a good sign and indicates that you have not reached your goals.
If you want to sell your website, you should have done this privately. Making a public announcement here on bitcointalk has a very bad effect on reputation of your website. From now, no one will join this website and everyone who has already a member of your website, will leave you immediately after getting aware of this.

Selling a website publicly is even better than selling it privately IMO. By make it public, people knows that there will be a new owner of the site. How can it give bad effect and reputation just because they try to sell it publicly? Mind to elaborate it in more details like what are the bad effects and what kind of reputation they may get from selling the site publicly while they did not do something bad since they launched the site months ago?

In general whenever a business changes owners its never a good thing. People will start to wonder how will the new owners treat their Bitcoins? Will they one day just run-off with them?

Remember what happened with Poloniex when they got bought by the parent company of Goldman Sachs? Around that time they froze withdraws for every account that wasn't verified, which was probably 99% of all their clients. It was a headache getting your money back even if you followed the verification procedure because it took months and crypto took a huge dive in that time.

The issue with 2dice.io is that I don't see why they are selling their site after such a short while of staying online? Generally its bad from an accounting point of view because it signals that the site isn't turning a profit and hence why its for sale rather than just close down.

Actually if the site is good as is 2dice, then people do not want that the site change the owners and the management as they are satisfied with their team and their efforts.

On the other hand if the site is not very reputable then selling and announcing it publicly that the site will be sold to some other person may bring benefits in the long term.

I think in both  the cases private selling is much much better so that the end users are not disturbed or force to think that their owner/management is changing at the back end

2843  Other / Meta / Re: [TIPS] to avoid plagiarism on: October 04, 2019, 04:24:31 PM
I really don't understand why people still violate this forum rule called Plagiarism which means you will post or use someone else's post, topic, explanation or anything that is not yours but to make it as your own work without giving the credits to the owner. There is only one rule for all of those who don't want to lose earth.

Plagiarism is a crime and it is not only related to this forum. This is something which is not tolerable. Maybe in some countries you maybe fined or any other punishment if you are found in or violate the copyrights.
What makes me more surprised is that people know that their account will be permanently ban if they are  caught in plagiarism but they still do it. Either they are ignorant or they do think that no one will notice them.
2844  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Storing Bitcoin In Bitcoin Core wallet on: October 04, 2019, 03:37:50 PM
Whats your opinions on storing bitcoins in the Bitcoin core wallet on a home PC with a strong password and regular malware scans?

I would suggest you to replace bitcoin core with Electrum wallet but keep following the other rules like stronger passwords, updated antivirus and secure location etc. Bitcoin core will only take up space in your computer hard disk and  for ordinary persons like us, it will not add any value.
If you have bitcoin in big quantity, then a hardware wallet is recommended but then you should be able to keep the wallet and its private key in a safe location.
2845  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical Analysis Bullshit or Not? on: October 04, 2019, 02:33:12 PM
people who dont understand technical analysis say its bullshit

people who dont understand investing and trading say investing and trading is a bullshit

here is the reality none of the trading system is 100% accurate

people who understand and practice the analysis will make money , i my self making profits using technical analysis

just ask yourself how much you have learnt and practised technical analysis , dont believe in this post you will get 100s of posts saying technical analysis will work and will not work , and knowing other things on whats going on with market is also important

This is the most easiest question ever. If you are a trader and if you do not know the technical analysis, how will you succeed in your trades ?
This is like you want to be an engineer but you never got the training for it.
Technical analysis is a must learn if you want to be a trader. If you're not a trader and just causally look at the market and prices, then you can go without it.
2846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Different type of altcoins have their season which attract scammers be watchful on: October 04, 2019, 09:17:47 AM
Honestly speaking, if you are into some speculative trading then go for the bitcoin market and leave the altcoin market as it is. At the best I would go for 100% Bitcoin. Yup maximalist at heart. Cheesy

But to be a bit more lenient and so called "alt liquidity" you could try some LTC and ETH. Its more a personal choice as to what they prefer to trade giving emphasis on the volume being traded and feasibility. Those who are trading professionally dont actually care about the technology but the money involved and their profits.

They would be willing to invest into several assets leveraging the risk. But those who are going to read this thread are not one of them. That I am sure of. Cool
Altcoin season will return for sure its only a matter of time and yes bitcoin is the best option for short term traders or longterm holders but altcoin is the most preferred on my table, they have better ROI than bitcoin, i am talking from experience and if you think history won't repeat itself then you haven't been following crypto news

You need to lookout for the following things which will be different in the next altcoin run.

1- Not all the altcoins will pump. Only the ones whom teams are working will get good returns.

2- Previously people used to buy low satoshi coins as they think the ROI is high on them. 1 sat to 2 sat is 100% profit. but this time very few low satoshi coins will pump.

3-Also Keep an eye on circulating supply when making a selection of altcoins.

4-Do not love the altcoins, get the profit and get out.
2847  Economy / Speculation / Re: New printed money into crypto? How? on: October 04, 2019, 08:59:48 AM
The question is in what way the new printed money will find the Way in to crypto market?

As Property and stock markets are booming gold is going up too we have like new economic fresh start everything is going up but Bitcoin is Still down!

I wondering wich way the New fresh money as euro,  usd and Australian dollar will be invested into cryptocurrency market?

Bitcoin and gold market future is very bright. Where do you find stocks markets booming ?
I think the fiat currencies will be very much devalued due to economic pressure and inflation. People will two options either to move  their funds in crypto or buy gold. Most of the conventional people will buy gold but a lot of new generation will comes towards crypto investments.

Basically if the dollar is devalued (as you can see china and other countries want to lessen the dominance of US Dollar), other currencies like Euro or AUS dollar will also experience the same pressure and people will be tempted to move their funds in bitcoins.
2848  Economy / Reputation / Re: Admin's Temperament on: October 04, 2019, 06:36:37 AM
I have discovered some nice project admin, one will like  to work with them, they take their time to respond to you as each person is important to them, likewise, I have noticed from the responses and interaction of some project manager and bounty admin some hash responses, sometimes they may react to your messages as if you had issues before, and this should not be, they act like we have enough people who likes our project. We know some members may also be provoking but not all. In the same vein. Should admin too be so temperamental?

I think you are referring to Bounties and signature campaigns managers here on bitcointalk. If a bounty / Signature manager declines our application or do not accept us for any reason, we consider him as harsh. Also it is not possible for them to keep thier kool when they get bombardments of msgs and PMs to get into the campaign.

I'm saddened by the fact that the sig campaigns and bounty threads are continuing to take over Bitcoin Talk. I suspect that this is one of the reasons that I don't post as much these days. Would it be possible to keep all these topics, and the campaign effluent, in the underworld here? Bitcoin seems to be at a really exciting and interesting point in its growth, and I feel that this should be the main focus of the form - together with some of the reputable altcoins of course. Smiley

I'm afraid but we have to find out our interest our self in this forum. To get interesting valuable information about bitcoin & altcoin we have dedicated threads like Bitcoin discussion and altcoin discussion but these are considered as spam mega threads and we have to get our way through them to find some useful information.
2849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Loan to buy Bitcoin? on: October 04, 2019, 06:08:39 AM
I'm buying ~500$ in Bitcoin every month with part of my salary. I have a stable job and my company is doing good. I'm wondering if it worth to take 20.000$ to buy 2 BTC now and pay the 500$ as loan installment instead of buying sats every month. I believe in the potential of Bitcoin to reach 50k in a couple years, but it wouldn't be possible to buy near half of BTC at the 500$ rate, so this would be something like an "advance". Hypothetically (but still possible in some probability), if BTC collapses and never recover from 8k, I would still be paying this loan for about 3 years but wouldn't starve or something like that, it would just sux for a while, since I still have another source of income. I know it's not the place to ask I will do whatever I think it's best, but if you were in my position, would you do it?

'
Yes, this is a better decision if you can take the loan now and buy the BTC. Although it is not sure if Bitcoin will move up or down in the short term but in the long term duration, you will be save. Also by doing this, you will be save from the worry of looking at the Bitcoin price every month and get tensed.
Just make sure if you can get an interest free loan or a loan with low interest.
I am happy to see people having confidence in BTC and when most of people have this mindset, the demand of bitcoin will increase automatically.
2850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 03, 2019, 05:24:25 PM
Checking their earlier stats, SA won against India and Australia last year but in their own land. They haven't performed that well in foreign countries but are masters in their own country.
To win against India in India is a difficult task but South Africa too have a decent batting line up and as everyone says if the pitch is batting friendly then we might see a draw. I am watching Agarwal for the first time and he is playing fluently and the search for a good opener might end here with Rohit and Agarwal giving India a dream start. I am confused what to make of the situation with three days left, India and draw will be a good option.

It seems that South Africa will lose this match and maybe they will get an innings defeat. Other than Elgar, the top three batsmen were only able to make any significant score and they are three wickets down with not even 50 on the score card. its seems that Indian team is too strong for them.
With 3 days still left in the match, do you think any batsmen of south africa can resist the Indian bowling attack with the pressure of over 500 runs ?

Then why the hell are you still wearing signature, you moron.

Jealous because i am wearing something , the signature and You are naked  Cheesy
You need to grow up !
2852  Economy / Reputation / Re: Livecoin is a shady exchange, Yobit is not on: October 03, 2019, 03:57:14 PM
Did Yobit hire Yahoo for removing spammer or a group of people? Or Yahoo hired some others? Now it makes sense why the so-called forum lover who care about forum most, try to prevent scam, are so silent.

You can't see the spammers being banned or you are deaf.

The same things has been discussed many times in the already active threads. i do not see any reason to create a new threads for it again and again other than to gain some merits.

Go and lick the ass of your boss shit spammer.

Screaming and abusing  will not make you noble.

This thread doesn't mean anything to you, then? List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign

The same things has been discussed many times in the already active threads. i do not see any reason to create a new threads for it again and again other than to gain some merits.

2854  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3 things should not be too in trading on: October 03, 2019, 12:25:50 PM
I have read your three point list and there are some correct items on it but let us generalize things. Every trader has its own techniques and style in trading and in their way its either they gain profit or lose. There are no perfect strategies or totally wrong choices in trading since everything is determined by the market. Some players are attuned to trading in huge volume while some are not, this is  just an example about the uniqueness of the trader. So in the end the most important things that a trade should have is knowledge, skills and experience and as long as he knows what he is doing.

The most important thing is that you understand the trading and no not depend upon signals or trading social media groups. At the beginning of my trading career, i used to listen a lot of you tubers and follow their signals n advises. That's was the biggest mistake i did. They ask you to buy a coin which they already have bought, and then they dumb on you. So if you want to trade, be self sufficient and do not depend upon other signals. The best is to get some training on understanding the trends, bars etc and do trading yourself.
2855  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's price on: October 03, 2019, 08:55:05 AM

No no no! I'm not saying that it is not possible for bitcoin to cross its all time high... I'm tryna say that people are only considering the increase of btc when there is a decrease to consider.

That's the biggest dilemma for the bitcoins holders. They always wish the bitcoin price to rise all times but in reality the opposite of it happens.
The bitcoin price reach to a certain level with good pump and then the slow dump process begins which frustrates the bitcoins holders. For example it took less than a month for bitcoin to reach 19K and then it took a whole year for bitcoin to dump to 3100$.

Most of the people get stuck because they buy when market is on a pump. If we buy when the market is dumping then we are in a better position to make the profits.

What would I make money, what should I do?
You should find yourself Job, a real job.

Write comments, create posts? Or do you need something else?

Do you think earning is so easy that you create a comment and you will be paid ?
You need to pass the selection examination !!

Where will I receive my funds and in what currency?

Focus on the work and forget about the money. Money will come automatically if your work is good.

Do I need to create a wallet? If so, where to tie it?

Yes, tie it with your dreams.
2857  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's price on: October 03, 2019, 06:33:35 AM
The fact that bitcoin rose from as low as $0.003 to as high as $19,000 proves that bitcoin is really going beyond the moon. It's really wonderful how that increase was achieved in 8 years (between 2009 to 2017). I still remember reading an article in which the writer predicted bitcoin to reach a $100,000 in a 'very few' years to come. Though this sounds too much, I strongly believe it can be achieved (in my opinion, it might take time). What year do you think that such a price can be achieved? Also, what do you think is needed to make bitcoin's price grow faster and stronger?

Bitcoin did moved to 19000$ and it again moved back to 3200$. In this period, we have predictions by most famous celebrities and most experienced traders and investors that bitcoin can move to 100,000$ and it can move to 1000$ too. We have heard too much about them and personally i do not believe  on it now.
In a single line, bitcoin will move and cross all time high, but no one knows when and also no one is sure how many times it will pump and dump before it reaches ATH again.
2858  Other / Meta / Re: Please don't use bold text in your posts. on: October 02, 2019, 05:59:43 PM
I find it slows down my reading quite considerably. Presumably you want people to read your post - well bold and coloured text is non-standard, and it slows down reading for those of us who are busy, and have other interests. If you want your message to get maximum exposure, then please treat the forum as a collection of message boards, and not as a place to practice design exercises.

I skip over such posts, and very rarely do I read the content. Am I alone in this?

Bold text do create some attention towards a particular point and emphasis what the author wants to say. If i come across a big post, and the key points are bold/Highlighted it may give quick idea for the post and i may not have to read the whole long post. For me, using it for few words or one/two sentence is ok but it is certainly not reading friendly if the whole post is bold or in different colors font.
2859  Other / Meta / Re: Sig campaign mangers - now help advertising for scammers - TO PROTECT THE BOARD. on: October 02, 2019, 05:08:18 PM
NOW we require hard proof before action? what is this waiting for proof now? I thought waiting for proof was CRAZY because the damage will be done after they have scammed.

Who will be scammed by this campaign ? when anyone on the forum click on the signature, it will take them to https://cryptotalk.org which is a forum and no one is getting scam by visiting or signup that forum.

We had heard they were keen to work with YOBIT themselves anyway previously?? directly...  so it is fortunate it went to them isn't it.

So what ? Its a win win situation for everyone...  If you had a business and money then you would hire the best manager , isn't ?

Exchanges are some of the most dangerous places for newbies and even experienced members. If anything they should have extra scrutiny. Any projects related at all to a rogue exchange needs to be flagged up with a lemons flag at a minimum. Or is that just for whistle blowers?

Again no one is promoting Yobit in their signatures. Unless you see a link of yobit, its just useless to keep pressing on this point.
2860  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to announce successfully? on: October 02, 2019, 04:44:23 PM
Hello crypto experts!
As many of you advised me I have already decided to buy a copper membership to announce my company's new blockchain technology. But I have read some thoughts that say ranking is an important factor to make the announcement successfully. My question would be "how important is the ranking?" Could I fail to do it even if my technology itself and the thread of announcement is really outstanding due to my ranking?
thank you for your comments!

You need to have a full plan in place and it really depends upon your budget. Obviously if you have a good project , you not only will be needing an ANN thread but will also focus on bounties etc.

Ranking up, increases the credibility to some extent, but why would you rank here in the forum ? You main target is your own site, project and you are here only to promote it. You will not postponed your project unless you become a full member  Smiley
Copper membership is just the right rank for the project owners like you.

Again as i said if you have budget and you want to do it in the best possible way then you may hire an creditable bounty manager to publish your ANN. This will give your project a big boost. Then afterwards the same manager can run the bounty campaigns for you and so on.
