^ Anyone with fair eyes can see who wins in the Taylor-Serrano fight, it really is disappointing for Serrano's side when it's clearly a fight she owned. If this is the way to prove what Jake Paul is saying is true then he does have the chance to win it. But definitely, this is not what a court would accept as evidence.

$100M seems too much for Defamation.
2842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum drop gets me worried. on: September 25, 2022, 08:33:48 AM

It was hyped that ETH will soar high after the merge. But because this POS made ETH a target by SEC, it's going to take a lot of attack from SEC just like XRP which will make investors panic more and the price goes deeper. Since all crypto prices are also linked to BTC price, all crypto is dependent and waiting for halving which there are 2 more years before it.
2843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i get banned for Card Counting in online casinos? on: September 24, 2022, 02:37:56 PM

there were issues with the countbing cards in the past. anyone can do it. the rainmaker movie for instance is just one example but the casino admin just let it go because they can't just do anything about it because the person involved is a family member.

there were issues with the countbing cards but I guess it's something that they couldn't just pin. it possible to get banned. depending to the casino.
2844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What are the most developing play to earn games right now on: September 24, 2022, 02:46:12 AM

Here is a list of play to earn games https://dappradar.com/rankings/category/games

Surprisingly Axie infinity is not actually the first on the list. Every platform like Polygon, WAX, BNB Chain, ETH, EOS has its own play to earn. Alien Worlds is at the very top of this rank. Not sure why and Axie is in the 8th position. Hard to find out whether there is really a real community of the games.
2845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Partial Adoption of Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin/Litecoin) by China Court on: September 24, 2022, 02:24:21 AM
This is great and encouraging news for the crypto community, as the china market is a huge market which all are looking forward to having them open wide doors for crypto. And rest assured that in time all countries will adopt crypto because it is a technology of necessity
This is how China works, they keep on banning cryptocurrency and later on they will amend some of those rules to partially accept cryptocurrency, this is not new anymore. Though despite of the ban, many Chinese people are still doing their crypto activities and I see some date that China is still one of the largest community for Cryptocurrency. This is a good news for them and honestly, the market for China is huge and if this will take effect, this can bring positive impact in the whole market.

It must be very positive because the very large population of China is a big market and indeed it seems like China only wants to play 2 feet and is more inclined to control because I don't think anyone will be able to stem the development of crypto

It's been speculated in the past already that they might allow trading or even mining BTC if their economy is threatened. BTC will still help them after all Russia also demanded not just ruble for international payment for their gas but also BTC.

China can be predictable already but this country's approval can be compared to the one country two systems policy. They may not allow on the mainland but only in Hongkong or Singapore.

2846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chinese version of Metaverse will be great for meta casinos. on: September 24, 2022, 01:48:18 AM

Well, the Chinese are known to make enormous projects like the Great Wall of China that still stands today. 5G alone proves it. The projects they build in China is very surprising actually, you wouldn't believe no one mentioned it around your circle like the Observatory Telescope to watch the space they build so wide no one on earth has it.

Lately, My personal opinion on Metaverses as an industry and business model has changed and switched negatively, because it seems it is an excuse for big (and fairly shady) comparations like Facebook/Meta to charge for NFTs transactions and other features, taking advantages of content creators.

In the case of a Chinese Metaverse, I am afraid it would be more dystopian and shady, because the CCP already embraces a policy of massive surveillance over their population and other abuses, at least in USA and Europe there are laws which are supposedly there to protect costumers and people in general, in China it is different.

I would not be surprised if the social credit of the individuals there could get affected depending on their activities on Metaverse Casinos.

Using VR actually makes more sense than using Facebook for the metaverse. I think if there is also a VR device producer in India or Mexico, anywhere in the world can just use the VR to connect to the metaverse they are building. All you need is a connection, going into the stores or establishments in the metaverse I guess is where you will need registration.
2847  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin or Netcoin ? on: September 24, 2022, 01:30:35 AM

It's too coincidental for this to happen. Assuming it's Satoshi who registered these domains. It's really possible to trace him with the information from the registrar because during that time, even if you want it to be anonymous the registrar will still need your data.

Would you say that BTC is planned not just by Satoshi alone, someone must have advised him what to name right?
2848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 24, 2022, 12:56:49 AM

Somehow I think Adesanya and Pereira fight is not going to go full distance. Probably it will last for 1 or 2 rounds only. Reason - I think Pereira is not quite ready for MMA fights, I think he has not much experience of how much strength and stamina fighting at the fence or on the ground take and how much should be saved. Cant explain why, but I think Pereira is going to rush in this fight.

For me, it will go the distance and it is a win for Israel Adesanya, I know Adesanya is quite cocky and nobody likes his fighting style but apparently, this will surely be saving his skin, for me, I think that Izzy has already learned from that Jan Blachowicz fight, and that he can sure win this match if the fight go the distance, and a definitely for me  Izzy might take the high attitude but he would surely have a hard time on this and it will be going to be an easy fight.

Experience-wise, I agree, Adesanya has the upper hand. But as notblox1 said, the cockiness might get the better of him. That is a chance Pereira should take like how Weidman defeated the Spider Silva because of playing too much in the octagon. Being a champion for long has that weakness of overconfidence while the opponent is hungry to snatch the belt from him.

Both are standing-style fighters, take down defense is high. Will Pereira try to mix it up by training for a takedown and play it on the mat or will he just try the same kickboxing style?

I think Pereira will still go for the old approach the one that ends up with Israel Adesanya in their kickboxing match and this kind of punch was the one that is haunting Adesanya, but if Alex Pereira would have trained for a takedown and wrestling then for me I would definitely go with Alex Pereira, but it can not happen in a short moment of time, and if Israel Adesanya would not let his emotion surpasses him then he might lose this, but I am still going with Izzy here,

And just in Kevin Holland retires??? from sports and searched for a new career and posted on his Instagram and shockingly retired before hitting 30 years old, but before this, he is talking about being a champion and correcting all the mistakes he is been doing inside the octagon and now he is then retiring but I think he is asking something from the UFC and he doesn't get it, because he posted a Daniel Rodriguez VS Neil Magny fight that is happening October 15, I think he might be asking for a Niel Magny fight, but I guess Li Jingliang should also be upset in this fight aswell because he didn't get that rematch he deserves, for me, Li Jingliang was the one constantly screwed here,

Everybody is searching for new careers nowadays but combat sports from Floyd's exhibition spree. Like Nate wanting to fight with Jake Paul. Everybody's turning to exhibitions like Anderson vs Fedor Emelianenko.

Holland retirement is too early for his career, he can do a lot in sports so he might be famous for short-term notice. If Dana White needs someone to fight that very moment, he can call Kevin.

2849  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is anyone buying right now because they think we are at or close to the bottom? on: September 23, 2022, 02:17:33 AM

There must be someone out there willing to risk thinking this is the bottom of the bear. The price holds for a long time in this range actually so there is a chance that this could be the bottom.

The weekly chart shows it's at the bottom. The alarming part is what is happening to parts of the world like there in Russia, US, EU, and China because anything that will suddenly happens can affect investments.
2850  Economy / Gambling / Re: Euphoriabet.io NO KYC Crypto Esports Betting and Roulette on: September 23, 2022, 02:12:32 AM

Okay. We are already confused about the No KYC so we're out!  Cheesy
But ohh my gooood they offer 100% bonus up to 250USD. That's good.  There are willing users who would try that. It's still worth risking depending on their personality.

Thanks for saving me time to read about their ToS because it's clearly misleading to see "No KYC" in the OP.

In any case, we have another casinos here, and the competition is going to be tough for new ones because some casinos have established themselves.

Nevertheless, it will be a challenge to the new ones like Euphoriabet.io. Although they are more focused on Esports and I don't think majority here are into it.

True true. Esports is not very popular in this forum,  this must work when promoted in the gamer's platform.
2851  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Accepting Bitcoin for a business on: September 23, 2022, 02:00:35 AM
I'm not really familiar with businesses accepting crypto thru plisio, this must be something that you have to sort out within that platform which you could trade the coins into an altcoin that just needs less withdrawal fee and minimum amount to withdraw.

Eshop must be hard to manage when there are fewer crypto users, try promoting your business in the forum. 1%-5% of your customers may increase after that, maybe you'd find faithful clients.
2852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much money do you leave in crypto casino? on: September 23, 2022, 01:43:58 AM

An amount that they would not be interested to ask KYC or hold the user's withdrawal. $2000 I think will just be fine. But I won't be keeping that much if I wanted to be safe.

It's tiring to keep depositing and withdrawing in one platform, I just keep my altcoins in the casino after all they are reputable. Its only altcoins I use to bet on sports which are also less than $500.

2853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: btc alternatives to use when withdrawing from the exchange on: September 23, 2022, 01:33:23 AM
I have seen several videos that recommend not to use a stablecoin when withdrawing from exchanges because of the commissions. In one video it was recommended to use litecoin and in the other video they recommended algorand.... Do you think these 2 coins are the best options to use when withdrawing?

Is it good to take the risk? I once withdrew using litecoin and the transfer from an exchange took 30 minutes...in that time you can't put a stop loss so if there is a market crash I would lose a lot of money....

I also tried to withdraw less than $10 on bybit and binance and the exchanges would not allow me to withdraw...I think I saw a video a while back where they recommended withdrawing $1 first to test (to make sure I choose the right network etc). The other day I tried to withdraw 4 dollars with bybit and binance and I got the message: the withdrawal is less than the minimum allowed.

If you are just going to send your $4 to your bank account, just use the Binance P2P instead, you don't have to pay withdrawal fees anymore. I don't suppose you would hold $4 worth of altcoin so it's best to just use the P2p market and trade it for your local currency.

In bybit I guess you can use the XRP I think these are the easiest and fastest altcoins that is widely used.
2854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 22, 2022, 01:36:44 AM
Whatever anybody says MMA is as close as it gets to real fighting.  Western boxing is just a part of MMA's whole.  It's a skill set that every MMA fighter needs to learn but it's not the end all and be all of the sport.  I used to watch a lot of boxing but once you get into MMA, esp the UFC and know the all fighters from top to bottom, it's just better, more well organized and it's an easy sport to follow overall.  And as far as the betting market goes, MMA is waaay better.
You can be a great MMA fighter without top boxing skills, Khabib did great for years before he improved a lot in that area.
MMA can be better because it combines other combat sports, but some people don't like wrestling or grappling and find it boring.
Spoiled crowd only likes to see blood and KO's but you can't have that all the time.

Guys, check out Israel Adesanya's great trailer for fight against Alex Pereira at UFC 281.
I can't wait to watch this fight, this has potential to be one of the best comeback stories and best fights of the year 2022.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZaLuDSmklg

Adesanya-Alex Pereira is a kind of match to watch. It's going to be a wild fight for thier skills. Who will win is very unsure because of thier records. Pereira climbed fast his rank on UFC only to chase Izzy's belt. He only has a few fights in UFC but he has already been given the opportunity for the belt. He really is that good that need not fight fighters below Adesanya.
2855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: September 22, 2022, 01:21:46 AM
Do you think backlash received from influencers is enough reason for Twitch to ban gambling streaming on their platform?
I think Twitch is starting some kind of weird crusade against gambling websites, but I was never really a fun of twitch anyway so I don't care about this.
There are probably alternatives for Twitch maybe even blockchain based, but gambling websites could be affected by this cutting of promotional stream.
Maybe DLive could be alternative for Twitch, it's blockchain based and used by gamers and gamblers, I think I saw Stake giveaways there.
https://dlive.tv/
Stake is trying to buy Dlive from what I heard Eddie say on his weekend stream. If that happens, then Stake streamers will have a home. I wonder if they will allow competitors to stream as well? Buying the platform would be 1 way to monopolize the market, at least on that particular platform.

Definitely one good reason for Stake to dive into. If they can't just be advertised on one platform because ban, it's time for them to also have thier own and not going to be banning itself. Dlive is not very popular to regular internet users, however.  This will make probably make them advertise Dlive as well not just the casino.

Amazing how influencers today can affect CEO's decision.

What do these influencers expect to gain by getting rid of the gambling content on twitch? That the thousands of users whom can no  longer watch streams about gambling will flock back to their streams and buy subs? I seriously doubt that that happens. These users will follow the streamers they were watching to the new platforms they decide to stream on. From the streamers I watch, youtube seems to be the most popular in the discussion. From what I understand, you have some rules to follow on youtbe, but as long as you abide by their rules you will be good to go. Hard to say if Youtube examines their ToS if they see a large influx of gambling streamers on the platform.

Yup they are also going to move to Dlive. Seem a pushover CEO. The decision will result in Twitch losing users instead at the early stage of the competition.  There are many platforms to move to which they have not considered before making this ban. Youtube had removed some videos actually but they didn't ban those gambling streamers promoting casinos. If the streamers kept repeating violations probably.

But why just these Bitcoin casinos? Not a single fiat base casino was mantioned.

2856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No doubt POS is centralized on: September 22, 2022, 01:08:10 AM
There is no decentralization in PoS, and never has been. This is a big myth, which is imposed on us by developers of such coins and those who actively promote them in the network. It has been noticed more than once that when some PoS coin votes, 90% of addresses belong to one or several addresses. What kind of decentralization with such distribution of coins and votes can we talk about? ETH became just as centralized after the merger. More than 50% of the network validators are owned by a few large companies.

Exactly. PoS is utter centralization at its core. It enriches whales (mainly exchanges, big companies, and wealthy investors), while leaving the little guy out of the system. ETH made a bad decision by pleasing the regulators instead of the community. Now it's going to pay big time as centralized exchanges gain control of all of the network. ETH will now become an easier target for mainstream governments who'd want to censor people's ability to participate in "De-Fi" and gain financial privacy.

Instead of switching to PoS, ETH should've switched to a hybrid consensus mechanism (PoW + PoS) that would help preserve decentralization/censorship-resistance. Now it's ruined, so our only hope lies with Ethereum Classic as the original version of the ETH blockchain. No one knows what the future holds for crypto, so we can only hope for the best. Just my opinion Smiley

It's really a wonder why Vitalik goes into this roadmap when of all people who has the knowledge of crypto and decentralization, he should have known.  Did he make some deals with SEC? Just wondering.

OP says 40% but I've read it's actually 60% in some chats. It wouldn't be surprising really to see ETH tokens are going to be censored, block,ed or frozen once they see a user supports something that they don't like.

2858  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The economic danger of China and Taiwan war on: September 21, 2022, 02:55:07 AM
Despite its huge population and stable economy, China can't simply afford to wage a major war. Human life has become more precious, as the Russians have just found out. Many of the families have just one child each nowadays and they don't want to sacrifice their children in needless wars. And in China, the situation is more exacerbated as a result of the one-child policy. An invasion of Taiwan will cost China millions of lives and there is no way the country can afford that. It was possible in the 20th century, but definitely not in the 21st century.

On the near side of Russia, there is a war going on but not on TV news. Azerbaijan vs Armenia. Pelosi also visited Azerbaijan after a massive attack on Armenia where almost 200 people I believe were dead. The war was also about the contested border region which is Nagornokaraba.

China vs Taiwan tension I guess is dying despite US ships passing thru Taiwan straight, China didn't engage.
If war erupts, Asia will really be disturbed. China has more influence and economic disaster will affect all its surroundings.
2859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will digital dollar be a threat to bitcoin? on: September 21, 2022, 02:30:06 AM
I came across this on the news today, and I wonder if this will be a challenge to the growth of crypto in the united states with the government beginning to consider the digital dollar.
Quote
The White House is particularly targeting the proof-of-work transaction-validation process used by many blockchains, including bitcoin. This mechanism consumes huge amounts of energy because it requires a lot of computing power.

And with everything else, the administration is pushing for a digital dollar, a kind of digital twin of the dollar, at a time when China has taken a step ahead on this issue
Read here
Do you think with the level of civilization in the united states, that the digital dollar will be successful?

They are saying they are following China's model?
The use of BTC will be threatened as this digital dollar may just be used and adopted faster than BTC. That is just it but BTC will still be preferred by most as an asset. The energy fud has been around for years but it's not going to make BTC vow to this fud.

But USD is also threatened these days since more countries today are avoiding the dollar use because of Russia-China transactions.

2860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino and prisons on: September 21, 2022, 01:14:41 AM
I'm curious too though, what if prisons have casino inside?
What do you think, OP?
I only have seen this kind of gambling den in some movies inside the prison although it has something to do with the who's the Boss inside like there's a mafia or something and he's using his power like money to bribe all of the people inside and even on the outside world. I don't know if it does still exist nowadays but what kind of powerful man would do that inside the prison?

I think there's a lot of explaining to the warden if they get caught having a casino inside the prison.

If today there are still casinos in penitentiaries, riots are going to be the biggest problem. Slots handle will probably be taken and sharpened.

The industry is regulated already, there ain't no way for wardens to decide on thier own what they could do under thier jurisdiction. Governments had created a lot of regulatory bodies that will pin every freedom a felon has.
