2841  Economy / Economics / Re: Money printing about Australia on: September 06, 2020, 10:43:49 AM
I was Right about it Again Smiley
Au Money printing..... Prrrrr
So anyone Want to argue with. Me about economy More??  I Think no point!
I Can Even predict what Will be happening next year.
It is not a big surprise that many countries are printing money to maintain their economy, US printed out trillions and now Australia and many countries will follow that path and the purpose is to have a flow of money in the market and the problem that we will encounter is that if they are not careful the chances of inflation and a major crisis will be inevitable. I will be surprised if the world economy does not go into depression in the next 2 years.
2842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Slow adoption and decentralized nature of bitcoin on: September 06, 2020, 06:05:45 AM
The author of the tweet argues that in order to use bitcoin, people should not be required to know or comprehend theories and technologies on which bitcoin is standing. He claims that for bitcoin to be successfully adopted, it needs to be simplified to such extent when people don't bother to know how it works, why it works, what purposes it was created for, etc.
For a massive adoption it is true that it needs simplification. During the initial phase of BTCitcoin it was a big task to get a simple BTCitcoin address and you need to download Bitcoin-Qt wallet and sync everything and now we have all simplified versions of wallets which enables everyone to use without much complication.
Many people does not care about the technical stuff rather everyone is eyed on the valuation and if you really want to attract new users around the globe you need to have a much lower transaction charge as the current charges are around their daily wages in third world countries.

Can bitcoin continue to exist if majority of people don't want to be taught about importance of bitcoin and ideas behind it?
As per the world bank data 10% of the world population live under $1.90 a day, for them they do not care about the importance of BTCitcoin but worried about how they make a meal for their family. Many view BTCitcoin as a capitalist tool which is a good thing but the majority does not belong in that category  Wink.
2843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Supreme leader's twitter account hacked - but that's not the main issue! on: September 05, 2020, 10:42:48 PM
Twitter hackers strike again! The twitter account of India's supreme leader Narendra Modi is hacked to seek bitcoin payment.
Hope you are referring to the major twitter hack happened in the past month, but to give Narendra Modi the supreme leader title is a bit overblown as India is a democratic country, if you are being sarcastic because he is selling all the public sector companies which could affect millions of government jobs in the future and driving the economy to a record negative GDP then the reference would be appropriate as he is doing everything as supreme dictator.

My dad was reading newspapers from his tab while having morning tea and suddenly uttered - "this bitcoin thing is ruining everything online" (definitely he used local language but it is the literal translation)!

While I immediately cleared his doubt about bitcoin but that's how majority of the common people have reacted because bitcoin is now associated with all small/major hacks happening worldwide!
I had this conversation with my Dad back in 2013 as he came to me to understand about the market side of things and since he was interested in the stock market he was eager to understand the new market and hence he will never have these kinds of doubts, what i am trying to tell is anyone who traded stock bonds or any commodity will understand that BTCitcoin market is almost similar like the rest of the market but the major difference is the decentralization and the market is open round the clock.

Good fight cart tonight with some interesting fights to watch.
I have listened Alistair Overeem pre-fight interview he gave few days ago, and I came to conclusion this could be his last fight, as he is fighting for long time, almost two decades. Odd for his win are nice and I will be taking this bet.
He is one of the legends of the sport with 79 fights both in MMA and Kick Boxing and a long 21 years of fighting and the toll it will have will be incredible and still he is fighting against the top fighters which in itself is a great achievement and if this is a farewell fight i respect his decision and i wish he could retire on a winning note.

I am not wagging a bet in this fight card, just watching this as fan Smiley.
2845  Economy / Speculation / Re: empire market exit scam = caused the price to drop yesterday? on: September 05, 2020, 07:14:37 PM
basically, Empire Market was the most recent edition of the Silk Road. The admin took all the Bitcoins and ran. Guessing it was a few millions of dollars worth of Bitcoins. So maybe he dumped them yesterday and that's what caused the price to drop?

Think we'll see the price walk back up over, if this is the reason. Seller is gone!
I seriously did not understand your comparison with the empire market exit scam and the silk road, hope you are aware that silk road was a dark market store and the owner did not scam anyone but since the products sold in the store were not legal and hence he was caught and all or most of his coins were confiscated by the authorities and the coins were auctioned off.

To be frank this is the first time i am hearing about this and i do not think that this exit scam has anything to do with the correction.
2846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the need to increase BTC's max supply arise in the future? on: September 05, 2020, 04:27:55 PM
It is still bitcoin, but not the crypto currency this community will support if that even happens. Talking about this, I remembered the incident in the past where a lot of bitcoin is made. I am not saying that this will happen again but I think if the max supply will arise in the future it will be for profit and greedy reasons and I can certainly say that I am not alive at that time.
Not sure what you are talking about, suppose the developers wants to increase the maximum cap we have right now, it does not mean that they are holding the coins but they will alter the miners incentives and it will have a natural process like we have now rather than creating the coins for the developers to hold  Tongue. No one is thinking about raising the cap as there is no need for it and the story about greed is just absurd.
2847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 05, 2020, 03:46:41 PM
But damn, looks like I missed out the entertainment as I went to sleep in the hopes that Aussies would win the match at ease.
After the first couple of wickets Australia was struggling and England was able to put pressure and they were not able to connect the ball and i was wondering what they were doing in the last few overs as they were taking singles when they needed boundaries and it was evident that they were struggling because of the lack of match practice.
2848  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Cryptocurrency rates especially BTC Fluctuate so quickly? on: September 04, 2020, 08:39:01 PM
Another factor is that many people in this market won't have any experience of any other type of trading and will never have traded before. We see screechy kiddies whipping themselves up into a whirlwind of hysteria and blowing it here every single day. The proper pros know they're easy pickings so they keep fleecing them over and over again.

It's not like this scene is overflowing with balanced adults.
It is true that majority of the investors have never traded before and those are especially who started with BTCitcoin from the start and have accumulated a lot of coins and they might have traded like kiddies in the past but right now there is enough time for any major holder to learn the trade and anyone who invested at a later time has the knowledge about trading.

I believe major fund houses has hands in the market and they are capable of creating a major sell off and book their profit and then enter again after a small correction.
2849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot - new top ten member on: September 04, 2020, 06:08:18 PM
as of today, Polkadot entered top ten list of coins, pushing BNB out from the top ten, and BSV on the position ten
Polkadot is smart contract platform, and could be serious contender to Ethereum and other platforms, with Cardano just a few percents away on position eight
There are many coins that entered the market and moving up and i noticed about Polkadot just a few days back and when i checked the entire list i saw many new coins in the top 30 list which includes UMA (UMA) Aave (LEND) Celo (CELO), i have no idea about these projects and i never cared to check everything but i assume that everything is DeFi related, just want to see how long these coins will last in the list.

Some challenges in front of BCCI and IPL

-Players pulling out their name, after Raina, Malinga new name is Kane Richardson, he and his wife expecting a baby.
-Elite ICC umpires are not very keen to join the league. Dharmasena already said NO....
I did not expect a resistance by Elite ICC umpires panel to join the league and the non availability of retired players to participate in the series, the outside news about Raina returning was personal issues and some have mentioned that his relative was killed and hence he is opting out of the tournament but the CSK owner came out and mentioned other things as if Raina pulled out because he was not happy with the hotel accommodation and then retracted his words. More players will be pulling out of the tournament and there are reports coming out that Harbhajan Singh will also miss the IPL.

2851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 02, 2020, 09:57:05 AM
The new storyboard for Dana is for Jon Jones to fight versus Francis Ngannou. Was this not Jon wanted before he removed himself as the light heavyweight champion?
Dana White has made his mind that Francis Ngannou will fight for the title against Stipe Miocic, now with Brock Lesnar a free agent there are talks about Jon Jones taking on Brock Lesnar and even Dana White is willing to make this fight happen if Brock Lesnar is interested to come back to the UFC, but there are other talks about Fedor Emelianenko and Brock Lesnar and the odds makers have already gave Brock Lesnar as the favorite against Fedor Emelianenko but he is an underdog against Jon Jones.
2852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM GAS FEES MIGHT NEVER GO DOWN AGAIN on: September 01, 2020, 07:34:48 PM
With the recent situation, i don't think in any way that the gas fees will ever go down and we might see ethereum prices hit 1000 again.
Wait for the hyped ETH 2.0 to roll out and we will see whether these situations will be sorted. I remember how Vitalik Buterin used to mock the high fees of BTCitcoin in the past and how ETH is a much advanced shit which will never get congested and the fees will never rise because of faster block time period but time has shown everyone that these dreams were just a farce and that makes me chuckle Cheesy.
No comments about the price as you never understand how these speculation and pumps work, common sense says that if the transaction fees keeps on increasing there is no way people will invest in it but cryptocurrency is a different monster Wink.
2853  Economy / Economics / Re: Remote Working and Inequality on: August 30, 2020, 08:08:46 PM
~
And looking further, will this then, eventually, lead to greater equality of opportunity across the world, if all you need to work a 'London job' or a 'New York job' is an internet connection and the ability to speak the language?
It is a truth that the pandemic has changed the dynamic of things when it comes to how jobs and education, many companies changed their concept and you can work at the comfort of your home and the education system can be done virtually and students can apply to universities world wide without moving to different countries and it will be a major change in the perception we had in the past.

If you look at US, people are moving from New York where they had high tax rates to much lower tax slab states like Texas. These migration shows a major shift in how people view things.

Bhai you missed the few replies above your post:P
When i read the article there was not much clarity regarding Suresh Raina and even in one of the article i read they mentioned personal issues and not much regarding the incident, while typing the response i got a phone call and i missed two of your responses regarding the incident because i clicked post after an hour after started writing the content  Cheesy.

This match is getting interesting now. First pakistan team scored a good total of 195 but england reply to them is even more better and they have scored 50 runs in just 5 overs with no wicket lost. Look like england will easily win this if they don't lose wickets soon.
Pakistan could win the match if they are able to pick Eoin Morgan, if not he has the ability to score big and take England to victory. I did not expect Pakistan to score 195 runs and the entire credit goes to Mohammad Hafeez.
2855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I restart a dead altcoin and continue the development?? on: August 30, 2020, 01:32:26 PM
The advantage in reviving a project, rather than starting again from the scratch is that the infrastructure is already available and very little work needs to be done. In some cases, the development may be almost completed. And there are instances in which good projects failed, because of no fault of their own. Who knows? In such instances it may be worthwhile to revive the project and see how it goes.
Even if you are planning to revive a failing company it is hard to resume them successfully as you need to take care of the debt they made, the base was a failure and so they were not able to make any profit and when it comes to dead altcoin projects the infrastructure would be virtually none and it is better to let go of that rather than trying to revive the project as you cannot convince any investor to investor in a failed project, unless you have enough capital to mess around it is always better to start from scratch.
2856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Whale Sold 9,000 BTC After 2 Years HODLing on: August 29, 2020, 11:13:42 PM
The whale held on to the BTC for nearly 22 months, through two major capitulation phases. Bitcoin dropped to sub-$4,000 level twice, first in January 2019 and second in March 2020. The investor waited through both periods, ultimately selling at around $12,000.
It is a massive investment when the price of BTCitcoin was around $6000 and then to undergo two major corrections when he is witnessing millions of his investment going down without knowing how long it could go down and to have the patience to hold for two long years and then to sell off doubling his investment is a smart move and i do not think that he sold all of his coins which is not clear in the article.
2857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi hype the same as ICO hype in 2017? on: August 29, 2020, 07:43:53 PM
I believe in blockchain technology, decentralization and decentralized applications and finance, but I'm extremely cautious about any hype, because when a hype runs out, some projects will close instantly and it's impossible to guess in advance whether you chose the right one. What do you think about DeFi? DApps are already proven themselves, will DeFi prove themselves too? Share your thoughts below
The concept is really novel and great and so does the ICO, the idea behind ICO was to collect funds for producing real products but that is not what we saw as everyone wanted to raise money but never did anything substantial and the idea behind DeFi is having financial services without the help of banks and other financial institutions and the concept is really great but we should expect scammers to try their hand in the market as well.
2858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 29, 2020, 05:18:46 PM
Cricket is most effect sport by this change of weather and sadly we have no solution because all cricket lover countries cannot afford to have stadiums with roof but surely someone will do this in near future because otherwise we are going to lost beauty of this game just because of this change of climate.
There are feasibility issues with a cricket stadium with roof, Saurashtra Cricket Association is planning to build a cricket stadium with roof and the cost of construction and maintenance will be huge.

Perhaps i will have to wait for the IPL as there are no chances of rain in UAE.  Smiley
You cannot say that there is no rainfall in UAE but the intensity is not that high most of the time, this January there were floods in UAE due to rain.

To add more misery, BCCI finally issued the press release on yesterday's Covid-19 news. If existing reports are true then all cases are from CSK only. Deepak Chahar's name is almost confirmed, no confirmation about 2nd player.
The second player might be Suresh Raina as he suddenly returned to India without much explanation citing personal issues and he announced that he will not participate in the tournament.
2859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Satoshi Stop bitcoin? on: August 29, 2020, 02:15:55 PM
Although if Satoshi is holding the keys for the 1 million Bitcoins then Satoshi can sell it at once or little by little to make the price plummet anytime. Anyway, I don't think that this can happen since it is already decentralized. I don't think that anybody can stop it right now, even Satoshi the creator.
There is no way that anyone could sell a million coin all at once  Cheesy. The only possibility is to sell those over the counter and it will not enter the general exchanges and it will not make a major difference in the market. Suppose if you have 1000 BTC and you put a sell order in the market in any exchange you cannot sell the coins until there are enough buyers, you really cannot plummet the market unless you are selling way below the market price.

Satoshi wants his privacy and there is no way he is going to verify his identity in every exchange to sell off his coins. Satoshi left the project by 2010.

Match Ends without any result now we have another casualty from this rain in 2020 too many for one year and still many have to come.
This is by far the worst year in everyone's life, no one expected the world would stand still over a virus and if anyone predicted that they would consider them as retarded and when the matches resumed rain is spoiling the matches which is really disappointing but there is a certain change in the weather and i do not think we used to see rain during this period in the UK and the weather situation changed everywhere around the globe.
