They have struggled a lot since they let go of Capella, he was a legit Center of the Rockets and without big, they were abuse by the Lakers who are playing with big players on the floor, I wish they will realize that mistake too, not only changing the plays but adding a legit center as well.
That's true.
It's still different when you have a big man on the team.
I was really amazed at how Harden could make good plays with pick and roll feeding Capella.
It was a bad deal trading him.

I don't know what type of situation he could get at this stage of his career, he is a good player, all-star level but he won't be traded to a team that will fight for a title, he has a huge amount of contract and in order to eat that much salary a team has to trade another star, and not many teams would be willing to give their stars for westbrook right now.
I am not sure about the reason but one of my speculations is after Daryl Morey stepped down.
He made the deal putting WB in Rockets. So yeah, there must be a link to that.

Never expect too much.
Consider the bounty campaigns as always a risk.
There is no assurance for payment so just do your work and let go.
Also never fall in love with their coins. It happens.

The best way to lower the risk is to filter your hand-picked projects to be supported until the best will remain.
Somehow it increases the chances for a good ending.
2843  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is the secret to success in trading? on: November 12, 2020, 09:48:13 AM
investigate and have knowledge of the company that we are going to buy, its stock or currency that you are going to trade
The first important part of trading for me.
You cannot just blindly trade your money for something you don't even have knowledge about.

trust yourself and do not copy others, because the other can be wrong.
In short, riding the hype.
It happens because buyers are trying to ride the boat. Again, without even having a single clue into what they are getting into.
Risky. I don't even want to put it at 50/50 risk. Maybe lower than that.

Trust your instincts. If you did the proper way then you are increasing the chance to win a trade or even for investment reasons.

Russell Westbrook wants out of Houston

A good move for me by both parties. Westbrook likes to have a similar role that he holds for a long time in OKC.

But I don't know how it will be granted by the Rockets since "correct me if I'm wrong", Westbrook is under contract and will just have a player option in 2022.

Yes, that's correct. Player option at 2022-2023.
That means he will need to play through this season first.
Also, to endure what is Silas proposing.
It is said in the article that there will be "tweaks" in their plays. "Tweak" is not the right word for me. More like "overhaul".
He wants to change the isolation plays that are Harden and WB specialties. It will be a huge change for the whole team.
They are just not used to it.  Grin
2845  Economy / Economics / Re: Hoping that its the end of corona virus on: November 12, 2020, 06:04:20 AM
Don't need any prove to justify it, because some bad governance has put people into frustration due to selfishness and mighty personal interest over government funds, because not every countries across the world are victims of the so called disease corona virus, bad leaders strategies with different dimensions to embezzle funds with name of the virus corona, which is the characteristics of negative or bad governance, OK if i may ask, does it means all countries was affected with corona virus?

It's called "pandemic" for a reason.
A pandemic is the worldwide spread of a new disease.

There will always be a corrupted side of governance.
Even when you are a kid voting for classroom presidency or other positions it is already corrupted.
It ain't new anymore, it is a habit.  Grin
Anyway, there are still good people out there who are trying to make it right but they cannot please everybody.
They always have their own opinion and mainstream media may have a share for opinions to change.
2846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How will crypto behave during a Biden presidency? on: November 11, 2020, 06:51:48 PM
He has so much to do first before beginning to put cryptocurrencies on his problem list.
Covid19
Racism
White supremacy
China
..and a lot more.
I think he will be busy with all of that and maybe he will have time dealing with cryptocurrencies at almost the end of his term.
When that time comes, it may be too late.  Wink
2847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 11, 2020, 05:50:52 PM
I think the latest decision was that it wouldn't be a "bubble" like the last time, teams will move around and go to each other's stadiums to play this time around because it is a whole season and not just part of it, it would be nearly impossible to keep that many people in one place for that many months.

However I think the stadium and fan deal will continue, it may lax a bit and have few family members and friends for a limited amount of people, like maybe 100-200 people at most and probably not even 200 all sitting separate and far away from each other. However I believe it will mostly be online web cam join type deal bubble had. Hopefully NBA will take care of any risks involved and constantly tests players non-stop everyday just to make sure we do not face any trouble or breaks.

I haven't got news yet of what the set-up will be.
But if you do please share.

Yeah, if Orlando cannot accommodate all 30 teams then it will really be a problem.
Plus, practices are to happen and they cannot just schedule all of them in one day with one gymnasium.
So, they might really put them in another place but I don't think it will be far from the bubble.
Like a bus ride only to arrive at the next destination.
2848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long until we can bet with bitcoin in real life casinos? on: November 11, 2020, 04:56:52 PM
That means a lot of work for casinos if they really want to implement it.
Would they even care if chips could work? Also, avoiding bad events like cheating or whatever evil doers do.  Grin

Efforts like.
This QR code =  betting 10 USD = X amount of bitcoin.
Below that is another QR code for betting 20 USD = X amount of bitcoin.
Then, it should be updated with how much the rate is to avoid loss.

Nah, I doubt they will input that kind of service. Volatility is the wall up until now.
2849  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin break its previous ATH record of 20K before end of 2020? on: November 11, 2020, 03:09:30 PM
History always repeats itself but you never know when it does.
Found the answer within the statement.  Grin
"You never know when it does."
That's it. There is no accurate answer to the question.
As of the 20k ATH mark, I doubt it might happen now. Don't get me wrong though.
I want it to reach that number as soon as possible to let those who bought at that time sell their bitcoins and maybe we can erase more panic sellers.  Grin
2850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 11, 2020, 09:58:18 AM
Lakers are the favorites in the betting lines now, it's expected, it's only the Raptors who were not the favorite after they won the NBA Finals. Since Lebron is with the Lakers, the hype is on them and that gives a good odds for the potential team to beat the Lakers like the GSW.
GSW rested well. Their injuries are fully healed by now.
I'm actually ecstatic at how the Splash Brothers will have good chemistry with Wiggins.
Playoffs will be sure but Finals maybe 50/50.

Nuggets, Clippers (will look for redemption), Mavs, and Lakers.
These teams will be like walls for GSW to reach the top again.
2851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects can still deliver on: November 11, 2020, 07:50:36 AM
So coinmarketcap is the basis now of how good a project is?  Grin
Even with a high rank, that is only on CMC view and not as a whole.
Better be careful doing that kind of analysis. You might end up getting fooled by some project there below 50th rank.

Thanks for the list though. Some of them I haven't heard yet and might look deeper.

2852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB VS Eth - Invest in ETH since BNB is centralized on: November 10, 2020, 05:39:55 PM
I have BNB's but not that much.
Mostly used for expense in trading fees.

But Ethereum? I had been working my ass before to accumulate more.
I just stopped recently because of the pandemic and bills are coming back to normal again.
I think it was $280 (July) when I last bought some. I am already at good profits but since 2.0 is near I might hold a little longer.
Although I might not really recommend buying now, it's pretty risky at a high price.
2853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 10, 2020, 03:31:58 PM
Also, Sacramento introduced a new uniform for next season.
I saw the making of this uniform days ago in their website.
Cool color choices.

He has been partnered with CP3 and WB and yet they can't still get over the hump on even reaching the WC finals. So I will say that whoever he partnered with it will still be same result. I guess it more of the heart and mentality of Harden that what separates him for elite players like LeBron James. Or maybe you can add his ego as well, we have seen him clash with CP3 in the past and I believed that he has something to do with CP3 being traded to OKC to get WB to play with him.
That could actually be the first championship if CP3 was not injured.
Part of the game. No one should be blamed for it.

Oh yes, I also believe he has something to do with the CP3 trade. But when asked, of course, he will lie through his teeth.
Base on what I see every year, I never saw sportsmanship on that guy. Not even a handshake win or lose.

2854  Other / Off-topic / Re: Banks consider covid-19 an opportunity to make money on: November 10, 2020, 09:48:02 AM
I think this is pretty bad move by our government. Reason for this is that government themselves were the ones who advocated this idea of cashless economy themselves. They only motivated the people through campaigns to deposit money in banks and now bringing in such transaction fees on transactions is illogical as well as ironical. Well I don't think it would have any direct impact on usage of Cryptocurrencies because for in the country payment UPI system of India is pretty robust. It's quick and free so Cryptos won't be able to take lead on this.
Nice actual experience share.
I agree with it.
Even in different countries, cryptocurrencies are still not the answer.
Digital money is the top for now.
We all know they are also owned by banks or if not, they are the backbone of it (investors) and cash applications are just the faces.
Easier, faster, and to avoid contact with people.

This link had better details than the one posted but it was a week ago with the same content.

2855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 10, 2020, 06:25:33 AM
Knowing how good the percentages of this two stars, but again, it's going to depends from how
they'll blend together and how their supporting teammates will paly along with them.

I cannot find the right word yesterday.
Thank you. It was to "blend". Chemistry is stronger especially when stars have it.
Look at the champions. GSW is a good example. They are not really stars before but after winning a championship because of their "chemistry" suddenly they became a superstar team in the eyes of their fans.

Lakers also. Davis and James now are like brothers which helped a lot to give them a ring.
I don't know about Harden, I don't see him as that type of guy. Always with the isolation plays.
2856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We need more decentralized stablecoins on: November 10, 2020, 04:49:28 AM
Thank you for the questions Abiky.
Do you think we need more decentralized stablecoins?
Yes.
What will happen if centralized stablecoin issuers continue to freeze addresses at will?
It's fucked up. More users/buyers of that cex stablecoin will switch to dex.
Will people lose confidence on centralized stablecoins?
Yes.
Or will this attract institutional investors and serious traders?
If I am the serious (exaggerated) trader then I  would prefer the decentralized way.
Obviously, for the reasons you said. I want authority with every move that I will make and not accounts being frozen just because someone on the other end doesn't like how I manage my own money.
Let's just go back to the banking system and do all the KYC if that is the case.
2857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers forced into unpaid leave on: November 09, 2020, 06:44:04 PM
It's sad but not the worse.
We all have been hit hard by the pandemic and without profits from our employers, there is no way they could pay every employee.
You cannot blame them for that. They can provide but they need a share from the government.
Imagine giving away money for a year. How could they start over without capital left in their pockets?
Then, employees will have no jobs to go back to.
This is one of the reasons why I started working from home.
2858  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reach $20K soon? on: November 09, 2020, 05:42:05 PM
Nah, not yet. It was dumped once again.  Wink

This hype is still from the Paypal new feature.
I am hoping for a new bottom rather than the $20k mark.
You see, even if it hits ATH like that amount then it will just dive again to a lower number so it doesn't really gain value.
More like just being manipulated by something else.
2859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 09, 2020, 03:25:10 PM
NBA rumors now.

James Harden to the Sixers? Here's how it could happen

Since the Rockets are a messed up already, do you think Harden would be traded to the other team, or the 76ers as per this article.
Question now, will it make 76ers better? or will it make the Rockets better?

Are the 76ers ready to let go of Ben or Embiid? That is how the deal will be.
I am sure it might limp the Rockets initially but something good could still happen with deals like this.
If it is Embiid then it might be good for the Rocket since it ain't Coach D'Antoni who is making the plays anymore.
They might stop that offensive attack with just Harden and WB in the spotlight.

As for the 76ers, acquiring Harden might be a good deal if paired with the right man. Embiid could be that man.
Somehow they will be more offensive behind the 3 point line.
2860  Economy / Economics / Re: 1000 BTC moved after 10 years on: November 09, 2020, 11:43:13 AM
What would you do with 1000 BTC today? Smiley
Damn, that's a lot of money.  Cool

If I have that amount?
It's difficult to imagine it.
But, I have set my goals with a business just in my place.
Upgrade my house, make the ground floor a business place, and the other floors as where I live.
It's best for a crisis like this pandemic. People won't need to go all the way out to buy their needs.
