2841  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is crypto trading so similar yet so different from Forex trading? on: May 26, 2023, 07:04:35 AM
This question seems so simple, yet the answer seems to escape me. Both involve technical and fundamental analysis, which includes indicators, charts, and candlesticks. They make use of the same trading principles, ideologies, and strategies.

The forex and crypto market works in different ways due to volatility and some other factors. The crypto market is highly volatile and it can go from 10%-30% or even higher within a single day sometimes. The forex market on the other hand is not that much volatile, the movements in that market was pretty low as compare to crypto market. The main cause of volatility of crypto market is the volume and decentralization. There isn't a single entity who can control the market while the forex market is control by centralized authorities.

Although, the trading principles are basically same for both of the markets and the indicators, charts, and other factors are also same for both markets but the volatility has the difference and that's the main cause of concern. Other than volatility the crypto market is highly affected by news media and influencers while that doesn't happen in forex market.

Quote
I have yet to see a forex trader who doesn't claim that they make more money than crypto traders. I have also yet to see a crypto trader who has dumped it for forex trading. Have you made a move from Forex trading to crypto trading or crypto to Forex? What happened? Can one do both at the same time?

I have traded in both markets in forex as well as in crypto, but I must say that forex market is not that difficult to master, the crypto market is very difficult. There have been cases where newbies earned 1000's of dollars in crypto over night, but  they have lost even more after that. I used to be a forex trader back in 2016's but I transition to crypto-currencies in late 2016 and since then I have never done forex trading. I'm considering forex trading now, but still not doing it yet because they crypto is far more easier and is more lucrative for someone like me.

Not much time left, make sure to enter your work before it's too late!

Hhampuz, can we use colored pencil and pen with hand drawn art version or it has to be black and white only?

You can use colored pencils, no issues Smiley

Thanks, soon I will post my drawing! Smiley

2844  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: May 26, 2023, 05:10:29 AM
the price of FUN token today is quite low as compared to the price when i bought some long time ago, like down to 1/5 of my buying price. though i am guessing, a lot of people are still holding their FUN tokens as freebitco is established site and they are not going anywhere. so the hope is always there, just need a trigger to rise its price.
however, on the note of rewards, freebitco is continuously offering some sort of reward like right now, you can get 5x RP. and who knows, you will be lucky. after all, it is free, hence a lot are still visiting this old site for this matter.
You can check on the free Bitcoin site in the premium tab regarding how many tokens are still locked there there are around 2.7 billion tokens and compared to the number in circulation there are 10 billion tokens so that's about 1/4 locked in free bitcoin sites, and that's only in freebitcoin because if you look at the low trading volume, FUN Token holders actually prefer to just park it in their wallets rather than get involved in the exchange market.
So maybe freebitcoin can offer something different and interesting so that the owners of FUN Token not only keep it in their wallet but are also involved in trading so that this activity can affect the price, currently the price is still around 20 Satoshi but it is not impossible to drop to 15 or 10 satoshi only, and the Op will experience a significant drop in his investment due to WoF only average base reward results, but it looks like Op is also keeping his BTC in freebitcoin to earn daily interest so he can still earn a bit of profit from it

Even if they lock half of the circulating supply they still won't be able to recover the value much higher than it's all time. The token is one of the weakest in care of getting pumps and it rarely gets into consideration of a pump to get it's price a little higher. I was also holding the thing for a long time but I made the decision to sell it with loss, the decision helped me to get rid of the token because since then the price dropped so badly because of the bear market.

I agree that the token can drop even to very low levels. The token isn't going to go up anytime soon and its chances of going down are currently confirmed. The market is still not stable and there is a chance that it can drop to low levels once again. It's better for those to keep their tokens at  Freebitco as that's a good option if you want to hold otherwise the loss is really one of the worst ones.
2845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which YouTube influencers to counter trade? on: May 26, 2023, 04:56:35 AM
Hi, I was wondering which YouTube bitcoin influencers/traders/presenters are good examples for terrible bitcoin analysis that can give me an opposing view to some of the other adept influencers? That I could perhaps try to counter trade their advice?

At the moment I kind of think IvanonTech the Russian dude is pretty convincing to counter trade, what do you folks reckon?

I would recommend you to avoid those social media influencers at any cost. Even, if their analysis turns out terrible or give opposing view I still suggest you to avoid those people. The Bitcoin market isn't an easy thing to manipulate and even if a social media influencer that has more than 1 million subscribers announces that Bitcoin is going to moon this weekend, don't trust that person.

It's not a great thing to blindly counter trade against the analysis of those influencers whose analysis always follows the reverse trend. Because sometimes the situation can be different and instead of their advice going inverse it can go according to their predictions. The real whales can influence the market and if they all decide to do something to the market than they have the power to do so.

Although, the whales are powerful enough to change the market for short term but they won't be able to keep it that way for long term. Bitcoin isn't like other alternative coins that can be altered by whales and social media influencers easily and for long term. It has its own level and that can't be influenced by a single person or a group. Only most famous people can do such things like Elon Musk, and Jeff Bezos, and they will be able to do that only if they promote their own products and add Bitcoin as a premium way of payment with some extra perks.
2846  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BetterCallRaul.it Domain Seized or Scammed on: May 25, 2023, 06:58:22 PM
It's confirmed BetterCallRaul.it rug pulled and scammed us 0.05836495 BTC which they were supposed to spend in their signature campaign.

Shame on those people who did that to someone like Royse and the participants of the signature campaign. It wasn't fault of Royse to trust those people because honest people like him always trust those people who later on take advantage of such honest people. I don't know that how can those scammer sleep by doing such acts with honest people. However, what they have done is not your fault and you should not be sad for their act.

Now that I'm sure that the BetterCallRaul hasn't sent any funds to Royse for the campaign. I request Royse to not send me the payment from his pocket, I truly appreciate your efforts as a best campaign manager and I'm okay without the payment. In such times we all should support Royse sir, instead of filling our pockets from his pocket.

It's my humble request to the participants of the BetterCallRaul to understand the situation and support the manager who has done his job in the best way possible. I hope that many of the participants will understand the situation and will not take any payments from Royse's pocket.
2847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker coming to stake.com in the near future ! on: May 25, 2023, 05:36:59 PM
On yesterday's stream Eddie said Poker should and will be coming to stake some time soon.
He didn't mention a specific time though.

If the news is true then that would be a really nice addition. There are no good poker games in world of crypto gambling and we only have the casino games and some other games that purely are for the lucky ones. If poker is added and basically a poker game similar to "Governor of Poker," then that would make the site more attractive. I will surely join it if the game looks and works similar to GOP because that would be more entertaining and not only gambling but a way of enjoyment as well.

There are some live poker games on some gambling sites, but I feel those aren't well-suited for every poker player. The sites does offer the live version and some people play poker in that style, but for me that takes away the control from the gambler and leaves it in the hands of the one who is arranging that live poker game.

2848  Economy / Gambling / Re: Using ToS against users normal? on: May 25, 2023, 04:25:55 PM
Changing of terms and conditions without notifying the users or gamblers is normal with online gambling websites? Then when you did something wrong or about to withdraw your money they will tell you that you don't read their terms and conditions, and you start arguing with them until you decide to read the ToS again and you find out that it's different.

Some gambling websites consist of wicked owners that willingly plan to defraud their users using the ToS against them, or is this normal? Have such happened to anyone on this forum before?

I have heard about such gambling websites that did something like that to stop withdrawals of the users. It's a pretty common thing in the world of online gambling and most of the gambling sites does that. But, the most trusted gambling sites are clean of such frauds because even if they somehow have to change their ToS they'll notify the users about the thing in advance.

I recommend everyone to choose only the gambling sites that are trusted and have good reputation. Try to avoid all those websites which do not allow you to withdraw your funds after the winning bets. The main priority should be given to the sites that allow you to withdraw your funds even if you win more than 10x your capital.

In the world of online gambling there have been many websites which were basically created to scam out the innocent users, and once they had enough funds they block the withdrawals with lame excuses. I won't name those sites but many users can understand from my words that which websites I'm talking about. It's best to get as much information about a gambling website as one can possibly get before adding funds into the site. That way a user can be on safe side and anything the users earns are totally his own property.
2849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been threaten to stop gambling on: May 25, 2023, 02:11:50 PM
This actually happens if there is a similar thread I'll lock this thread.

My friend invited me for a round of drinks just last night to confess something, and that is his wife threatened to leave their house and file for legal separation because the wife just discovered that he's spending a lot of time gambling, she thought that he's just playing games but she discovered his logged because the idiot has his password in the browser, so the wife check his withdrawal and voila his losing a lot of money and she also discovered that he won big money in the past but didn't tell her.

I guess that blew her patience for not telling his winning, so he threaten that he should stop gambling or they part ways, my friend choose his wife so he cannot play until he can convince his wife and promise her to tell her if he won big. Cheesy

How about you have you been threatened by your wife, your girlfriend, or your parents, if so tell us your story.

Thanks to my luck, I have never been threaten for the thing. But, your friend should learn a lesson form his experience and should confess to his wife the circumstances that made him not to tell her about the wins. He should definitely give her a surprise gift to change her mind into positivity. The relationship is far more important than gambling and he must have to take proper steps to save his marriage.

He should not do any gambling until he can convince his wife that whatever he'll do he won't hide a thing from her. You know the females are quite emotional and with proper care she will allow him to gamble once again. It's necessary that he should do everything according to his wife because he was somehow betraying her by doing gambling without her knowledge.

Things will be okay in his life after a few days. But, if he continues doing gambling and if she finds it once again then the things might be hard to settle. So, it's for the best of his relationship to avoid doing gambling for sometime. And, focus on the things that could work to make their relationship strong.
2850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Fiat - the Difference That no One Talks About on: May 25, 2023, 11:34:50 AM
You have totally ruined the purpose of Bitcoin my friend. Your arguments are pointless and doesn't make sense at all. Bitcoin is a resource and those who provide energy to mine it are rewarded with true fiat currencies. If you think that it isn't a resource then can you create a Bitcoin out of thin air? If no then you should learn about its fundamental mechanism of action before creating such long posts that doesn't provide valuable knowledge at all.

Satoshi introduced Bitcoin as a decentralized payment system and when he introduced it the value of Bitcoin was way less than today's values and the mining difficulty was so less that even with Pentium CPU's one could easily mine many Bitcoins a day. Now the things are different and the mining of this precious digital gem requires a lot of processing power, and trust me Bitcoin is a very useful digital commodity these days.

Bitcoin is an easy option to carry than other commodities. If we take the example of gold into consideration then it's quite heavy to hold many gold items in your hand, while holding thousands of Bitcoin is as simple as holding your smartphone. A smartphone with a Bitcoin wallet can hold thousands of bitcoins without any issues and the one who owns those bitcoins can get increased value because of the volatility of the market. Now even after knowing this you consider gold a resource and Bitcoin a non-resource then you're totally wrong.

Although, I agree that Bitcoin isn't a physical resource but in the digital world it's currently the costliest resource that anyone could own. And, unlike gold it's far harder for a laymen to own this thing. There have been many instances in history where people have found gold during the travels, but there hasn't been a instance where ordinary people found any Bitcoin by using internet or any other technology. In that sense the Bitcoin is far more rare than gold in the digital world. And, with each halving that happens in 4 years the value of this digital gold increases.

2852  Economy / Gambling / Re: This guy gave a whole prototype of "how live roulette scam us" on: May 25, 2023, 08:14:45 AM
I personally have been reading about the attitudes of roulette games organizers and I did not really see it as a thing to worry about because I have not had the experience with them. When I decided to try the game, I got registered on one of the roulette game and it is a live casino though so J had a little confidence in the system of being reliable, transparent and credible. I played several times and won big but I never made any withdrawal. One day the funny happened. While playing live I noticed how the staff present packed up after I had placed a bet, after taking their records, they went in while my bet was still pending I had to chat their live pm nobody responded and after a while waiting someone came in and I noticed a change in his behavior and there the game continued and I lost virtually all my bets and funds I used. Ever since that experience, I stopped roulette games and marked tat casino to not near them anymore.
Did you warn others about the platform so that no one else had to face the same thing that you did? If not, you should have, because what happened to you is shady as hell and a casino shouldn't be that way. If there is a problem in the live feed or something or any other technical problems occur, the support team should let you know and refund the money.

I wouldn't blame all the casinos for that nor the game of roulette but the platform that you were using should obviously be avoided by anyone not only for playing roulette but for any game they offer since they can do this for any game they are offering.

Those platforms should be avoided at any cost because I also think that if they can do that for Roulette than they can do that for any other game without any obligations. Their main intention is to scam users and such platforms will find ways to scam users with various tricks and most of them are not known to us yet.

I have done some bets on a good casino site that I won't name because that'll fall into promotion category if I do that, the casino was doing the things fairly but I believe that there are many such casinos doing shady things and the users should avoid those casinos at any cost.

I still believe that not every casino site is doing these things and the reputable ones would never let their image go down by scamming others. They are already making a lot from their casinos so they don't need to scam users to earn extra income.
2853  Economy / Gambling / Re: NFTonSPIN.com - Leading Crypto Casino With Get Full Refund If Not Satisfied on: May 25, 2023, 08:02:44 AM
tbh, i decided to write in here after 4 days of waiting thinking that they might process it due to community pressure in here, and actually they processed it in 1 hour after writing in here and writing them through email, i m not sure, it would be processed if i didnt do something like this and if amount was higher, but in the end they paid it.

But imo i wouldnt deposit any real money coz, like many others said, offers are way too good to be true, and still site seems very amateurish (layout, games etc)

But again like i said, they PAID it...
Oh wow so they really paid someone. Let's wait someone brave enough to try this casino and if the offers they advertised is really true. For me, I won't take the risk because I don't really play on new casinos. Hopefully this casino holds their words until they revised their advertisement about the refund. I know that the refund promotion is just to attract customer to try the casino but yeah it's a new way to make gamblers try a casino that's why gamblers are still skeptical about it. Maybe someday this kind of advertisement will become a norm.

Even though it is real that this casino pay him as proven in the last screenshot, but it does not mean that this casino is reliable enough. Perhaps they paid it because the player share the experience here and they think that by processing the withdrawal will make them look legit. I do not want to think negatively about the above player, but his last post before this experience was around 3 years ago. Did he come back to active just to share his experience in this new unknown casino?

I agree with your point, it seems very suspicious that a user who posted after 3 years has taken the step of depositing money into the site and successfully withdrawn the money back to his wallet. This can be done just to grab the attention of the newbie gamblers who want to get 900% cashback and refund even if they lose.

The site looks like a scam to me because no casino would offer such services if they have to survive for a long time. The service is like traditional Ponzi schemes where a few users will get refunds and cashback and the majority of users will lose everything they put on the site. I recommend everyone to be careful from such sites, the chance of scamming is so high for such sites.
2854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: May 25, 2023, 07:44:41 AM
In reality in this world wherever we go we encounter losses especially in gambling we can not say that always our by will win cause there's a time that we are unlucky and we will loss our bet. So it's better to have self control and be responsible in gambling. Spending money must be a good budget and it's better to gamble in your existing money it because if you loss you won't feel a very bad thing.

That's as true as butter in milk. The gambling is a freeway to wins and losses and sometimes we will have to face many losses even if we are doing our best. A gambler is putting everything in search of winning but sometimes the inverse can happen and instead of winning they can face consistent losses.

It's a better practice to have self-control during gambling because if you're loosing a lot then you should stop betting because sometimes the luck isn't in your favor and the losses can be high if you don't stop. The gambling is not for everyone and the ones who have no control over their emotions will lose in this game.

I agree that the gamblers should spend only the money they can afford to lose because if you put everything that you own into gambling then you're doing that to make your life worse. Never every put the money into gambling that's important for your sustaining and if you do so then the consequences will be adverse.
2855  Economy / Gambling / Re: Help us to choose a bonus for a review campaign! on: May 25, 2023, 07:37:37 AM
WE ARE THINKING TO START A REVIEW CAMPAIGN[/color] WITH JUICY REWARDS.

Count me in. I'm willing to review your casino the best way I possibly can. Like others said it's the best practice to send the amount to the personal wallets of the reviewers because you know that reviewing is a difficult thing and it requites time and testing of certain things. The reviewers can give their review even if they are not into gambling and if you only offer them free spins or bets as rewards then I don't think they will agree.

If you really want to have good and high quality reviews for your site then you should send the Bitcoin to the personal wallet of the reviewer and at the same time you should provide free bets and spins to the reviewers for the testing purposes. That way you will be able to get genuine reviews for your site and you'll be amazed with the quality.

Now back to my application, I will review the site so carefully by devoting much of my time to it. The review will be very detailed and will include my personal point of view regarding the services of the site. The review will include both pros and cons because I'll only share my personal opinion after testing the site and that might include some cons as well if I find any.
2856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DeSantis promises to protect bitcoin in presidential campaign launch event on: May 25, 2023, 06:16:38 AM
The guy is doing a great job to add that phrase in his talks because his main intention is to gain support from the crypto-community and fortunately he's almost close to getting that support. If we consider his proposal for Bitcoin then it makes sense that the ones who are into crypto-world and into Bitcoin will high likely take him as their savior in such hard times. His chances of getting votes from Bitcoin users is a confirm thing.

But still the question arises that how would someone like Ron DeSantis compete against someone like Donald Trump the former president of United States, or Biden the current president of United States? The simple and highly knowledgeable answer should be "Not even a single chance," because the former ones have far more superiority in getting votes from public than DeSantis.

However, if we consider the point of view of the Bitcoin investors and its users then the they are mainly in favor of Ron DeSantis because the guy is like a light in darkness, and can be a savior for Bitcoin and crypto-currencies in the New world. His love for Bitcoin and crypto-currencies is so intense that any true crypto-enthusiast would take his side in such situation. Other than this guy almost everyone is somehow trying to oppress or regulate Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies in the United States.

2857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It used to be you could mine on a laptop now I take a loss mining on asics. on: May 24, 2023, 06:58:38 PM
The Bitcoin mining actually began with weak Pentium computers and in those early days there were few people who were truly interested in a technology like blockchain and Bitcoin. Once the people started adopting this amazing innovation the miners were also increased because in initial days people were earning this precious digital gold with mining only and there weren't any good exchanges in those days.

Those people who started mining earlier got their greed and intelligence up and they started building their mining farms with multiple CPU's and later on with multiple GPU's and because of that the mining difficulty started increasing. At those times the ones who had so many CPU's and GPU's in their farms were mining so many Bitcoins but still the ones who were having few CPU's and GPU's were still able to mine some Bitcoins.

The companies soon got awareness that Bitcoin is something special and there should be some special hardware chips to mine more of it. In year 2013 worlds first ASIC miner was introduced which was later named as Avalon 1, and that changed the game of mining. Now the ones with so many CPU's and GPU's were unable to compete with the ASIC as the processing power of it was way higher then many CPU's and GPU's.

Soon after that ASIC miner people gave up on CPU and GPU mining and adopted the new standard equipment for mining purposes. As the number of those ASIC miners increased the difficulty increased once again and that ASIC miner wasn't profitable as much as it was in its early days. There was need to create more powerful ASIC in order to earn more Bitcoin with less energy expenditure. The companies started releasing more and more power ASIC's year after year, and they are doing the same even this day.

The current fastest ASIC miner is Bitmain Antminer S19 Pro and it has hash rate of 110TH /s if we consider it to the ASIC miners of those early days then it provides more than 100x the hash rate of those earlier ASIC miners. Now, in order to compete this thing the companies will have to create more powerful ASIC chips and then this miner won't be profitable like the way it is right now.
2858  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Interesting Bitcoin Members Business Opportunity on: May 24, 2023, 04:43:33 PM
I was wondering if you have a place here where I could offer something that may be of interest to your Bitcoin users. I have a unique domain name I own that currently is not being used to its full potential and am possibly looking to sell it or collaborate with someone who may be up for a collaboration? I hope this is okay posting this message here as I am not trying to spam at all, completely the opposite?

Thanks Gary

You have came to the right place my friend. There are many such people on the forum who would like to purchase good domain names. If your domain name is truly good and it serves the purpose well then you will definitely find someone who will purchase it from you. But, in order to reach those users who are interested in purchasing such digital goods you should follow the instructions of decodx and go-to the proper board for finding the interested buyers.

In order to get buyers you'll have to create a new post at the appropriate board. In that post you should write complete details about your domain name and also mention the niche of your domain name. There are many people who will find your post and send you offers either on the post or on your inbox. But, to keep things safe you should choose a good member of the forum who would work as an escrow for the deal. That way you'll be safe and you might get good amount for the your domain name.

You should also keep in mind if you are really finding someone for collaboration then you must share full details of the domain and the way it could be helpful to generate good revenue for both parties. You can also find good writers in the forum who may write good content for your website within your budget range. Now, it's your choice either to sell the domain, or to find someone for collaboration or to hire good writers who can create good content for your site. Best of luck from my side!
2859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be fool to keep it online, look my name on: May 24, 2023, 03:41:24 PM
Not your key, not your BTC

If you save it in the cloud, exchange, or any service online, you don't own your key. It's the same as giving your neck to the executioner. Better to give your wealth to social institutions, war victims, and people who are undernourished than give your wealth to rich people who own the cloud and exchange.

I agree with you that the bitcoins you put on exchanges is indeed not yours in the scenarios when an exchange goes offline or ran away with the bitcoins or stops withdrawals without any notice. Other than those reasons the bitcoins that you hold on an exchange is as much yours as the ones you keep in a wallet. For example: The money that you keep in a bank is also yours as long as the bank is not bankrupted, or hasn't flew away with the money. The scenario is same with the exchanges, as long as they are working normally your coins are totally yours.

It's always better choice to keep your bitcoins in your personal cold wallets rather than relying on those exchanges. But, if someone is into trading then the only option for the person is to let the money on exchanges. We have no other option than trusting those exchanges because that's the only possible way to trade your coins and earn from trading activity. For a investor the scenario is quite different, the best option for an investor is to create their own cold software wallets and keep their bitcoins on those cold wallets.

It basically depends on the needs of the users, and I must say that the exchanges are doing a great job to help their users even though people still prefer cold software wallets for the security purposes. I have kept my coins on Bitfinex for more than 3 years and let them on that exchange without any precautions, and when I needed to withdraw the coins it took me less than 5 minutes and the coins were in my own wallet.

It's indeed a reality that few well-known exchanges are doing a great job for the customers, but still I would prefer to go with cold software wallets for security purposes because an exchange can flew away with your money without any prior notices. It's better to use the exchanges for trading purpose because they are most suited for that thing, and it's always a better choice to keep your coins in your possession for security and safety purposes.

For the ledger drama , I decided to leave hardware wallet , I don't trust any of them, i will using electrum cold wallet off line on my old laptop , and another wallet for my active mobile as watching , what do you think , what is the pro and cos , does electrum cold wallet support segwit address ? Any risk

Your decision is one of the best decisions one can take to ensure better security and privacy of a wallet. The cold wallet has always been the best choice for saving Bitcoin and it will always be the no 1 choice for those who know the privacy and security level of such wallets. I have never been a fan of hardware wallets and I will never suggest anyone to use it unless they have no other good options.

The Electrum is definitely the best software wallet and it works very well for the purpose. The electrum wallet supports segwit address without any problem. There are no risks involved as long as you are not connecting your old laptop to the internet. However, you'll have to keep some points in your mind if you're going with that setup. These points are very important for the safety of your wallet for long term.

The first point to keep in your mind is that you should keep that laptop in a safe place and don't let anyone touch it other than you. You should also do every measure to keep it disconnected from internet because even if it connects to internet because of a single mistake then the purpose won't be there. As o_e_l_e_o said, you should remove all those chips that might allow a Wi-Fi connection, and you should also avoid using any Wi-Fi enabled dongles on the laptop. Some of those laptops have the chips that could connect with the help Bluetooth tethering to internet so you should remove all those chips that allow Bluetooth connections.

The second point is to clean up your laptop and format the disks to avoid any malware and then install your operating system with the help of a USB device. Remember to download the operating system from the official website only and check its checksum or digital signature to confirm that it doesn't contain any malware. Once the operating system is running then you should install your wallet software and import your wallet to it.

It's always a better choice to keep your wallet in multiple storage options even if you're having it in a same device. I recommend you to install a separate SSD in your device and keep a copy of your wallet on that device as well to be safe from disk failure. If you have done all the steps carefully then you're totally safe and you won't have to worry now because no-one will be able to steal your Bitcoin from that wallet.

I won't explain pros and cons of the setup because the article is already getting very long so to keep it short I would just say that you'll be totally safe and free from any risks if you do everything carefully and according to the insutructions. Best of luck for the transition. I hope best for you!
