2841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get bitcoin cash on: August 25, 2017, 02:09:46 PM
I have some btc on Mycellium before 1 st August. Now how can I get bitcoin cash?

Mycelium doesn't offer instructions or a blog post or something on their website to explain how you access your coin balance in their wallet? That's shocking! I just did a search and couldn't find anything on their site at all.

Sounds like Mycelium isn't worth your business. If they can't give you support on how to conduct your business with their product, why do you use their product? Don't let a slick UI fool you into settling for shit service.

EDIT: This tutorial was just posted, looks VERY helpful >> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2063572.0
Oh yeah that's true.  Mycelium doesn't have any uodate about them, they don't have anything instructions ,post,  or anything that give an idea to many people on how do they access there coin.  This is just  i think a scam??  I am not sure but my feeling is that that will be suits for there service.
2842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: August 25, 2017, 01:40:23 PM
The possibility. Bitcoin has only it's future ahead of it and it can be wildly successful, I hope it is. I hope it's able to be a safe alternative for people. I hope it's able to keep some bad practices in control. Competition is a good thing and competition among currencies in a country doesn't exist.
I like the best about bitcoin is that bitcoin gives many opportunity to many people and because of this we can earn easily with bitcoin and all you need to do is post and type your opinion about something.
2843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on Uber on: August 24, 2017, 02:13:59 PM
That's a good news since Uber in the Philippines is very popular. Actually it is more popular than the traditional taxi. If they are going to accept bitcoin, much better. But the transaction fee plus the rate of meter, isn't that a bit expensive? Anyway, this is a good help for bitcoin because this will promote bitcoin more. And hopefully bitcoin will be a part of people for their everyday lives. Good job Uber.
I think that's a great idea for everyone especially in  the filipinos out there in the Philippines. We all know that  uber is very popular in the country of Philippines and also it has a lots of consumers depending on transportation like this.  Some are Filipino users here are using transportation like uber and it is very easy now because they accepting bitcoin.  I don't have an idea if this is true but i hope it will accept that.
2844  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC as a national currency? on: August 18, 2017, 03:12:23 AM
Bitcoin, for now, is not suitable to become a national currency of any country. Bitcoin's value is too volatile so a product or service will always change in price with respect to the price of Bitcoin. Also, a transaction fee is there with every transaction, this is not practical in using in a daily basis. It will be hard for the government to control the scenario. So if a country will make Bitcoin as its national currency then they have to regulate it first.
I think it will be nice to become a national currency is the bitcoin.  It seems to be a lot of opportunity given to many people and it has to be a giving money to many people.
2845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use Bitcoin for anything other than...? on: August 18, 2017, 01:04:43 AM
Quote from: Brett Arends, MarketWatch
Demand is uncertain, unknown and unknowable. I still have yet to hear a convincing argument why anyone needs these things other than a money launderer or someone who wants to, say, play internet poker

I came across an almost comical oped article about Bitcoin. The "journalist" sets up some solid click bait with the headline "how you can make easy money from the Bitcoin bubble!" The article is really a rant by someone who doesn't understand any of the underlying principles that brought Bitcoin into existence.

Here's a sample of some of Arends' most inspiring commentary...

Quote from: Arends on ICOs
A staggering $1.25 billion of “fiat” — i.e., real — money has so far been raised by insiders this year rolling out new “digital coins”

Quote from: Arends giving more credit than is due most ICOs
Here’s how it works: A group of kids in hoodies say they’re going to set up a cloud computing venture and let you finance it in return for some of their new digital currency. You send them dollars. They send you new digital currency. If and when they put down the doobies long enough to get the venture rolling, you can use these new digital currencies to pay to use the service.

Let's be honest, most ICOs aren't promising to provide any good or service. BUT...Bitcoin is not an ICO.

Quote from: Arends repeating himself
A couple of months back I said these cryptocurrencies are nonsense. From a serious investment standpoint that’s true.

Quote from: Arends posing investment analysis by reciting the most basic macro-economics principle and applying it incorrectly
Price is a function of supply and demand. At the moment there is an endless supply of new cryptocurrencies. People are literally creating new ones every week.

Arends fails to realize that an endless supply of anything doesn't drive the price upward. I finite supply with steady or increasing demand is what drives price appreciation.  Wink

Ok, enough of my cherry picking. I'll give you a minute to read the article, you'll find it here.

Quote from: Brett Arends, poignt summary of his work
Don’t make me laugh. Have you ever seen anything so stupid?

The article is ironic. Arends claims vigorously, but with meager actual constructive argument, that cryptocurrency is an investment mirage whose value is created by little more than mindless speculation. Then he closes his piece with the conclusion that "there is a surprisingly decent chance of easy money."

All of this got me thinking...I'd love to hear your answer to the question "why use Bitcoin?"

Go...

For me bitcoin is the easy way to get rich and to earn a lots of income.  Bitcoin will be the currency of our future. This bitcoin seems to be  a great opportunity to many people to earn and invest money.
2846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using bitcoins for? on: August 18, 2017, 12:31:43 AM
The miners mine and hold, other mine and sell.

Investors and speculators buy, hold and sell.

You can buy random items in auctions and through the forums.

What are the reasons for the bulk of the bitcoin transfers? I read an article underlying the "dark side" of the internet and TOR network, and they seem to point out that bitcoins are now nearly the exclusive currency for the online "black market" (Note, they are not saying bitcoins are exclusively used for black market transactions)

What have you used bitcoins for?

Miner
Investor
Black Market
Other - explain

I usually used bitcoin in many things that is important to me.  Bitcoin gives many people a great opportunity to earn easily in bitcoin.  People  used income to help them to solve their own financial problem.
2847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: August 18, 2017, 12:17:09 AM
what do you think about this topic?

I think it is right because we all know that bitcoin nowadays are very popular and many people are using it because they know what is the value of bitcoin and they also heard a lot about it in others and they trying their luck to have a goo income and be a millionaire in the future. And ofcourse they also use it because the knew it has many advantages.
Many people are using bitcoin now a days,  and it seems to be the coins of the future.  I believe that bitcoin is one way to get rich.  In this,  we are trying our lucks to get a high income and someday we can become rich.
2848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: August 17, 2017, 11:57:20 PM
There were many similar threads.
I don't treat Bitcoin like a scheme. I think it's a great piece of technology and an efficient payment system that will take over the old and slow ones like Western Union. It's also a way to get rich, because if it does explode all investors will profit.
It seems looks like many threads about this.  I think about bitcoin is that this is the way to make our lives very easy.  It makes many people to earn incomes.
2849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream? on: August 17, 2017, 02:30:23 PM
Okay, I am just making that headline short and sweet. What I mean is: What is one big dream that you want to realized out of your Bitcoin income? No matter how small or big it is, please share it with us here.

As for me, I have a big dream of having my own 10-hectare farm somewhere here in my locality and I want to stuff that area with all the fruits I can find here and with my main products which are cacao and coffee.

I guess I have this special connection with the soil and the land that is giving us the food and sustenance daily. And who knows maybe years from now I can be able to issue tokens out of that farm...something like AgriTokens or AgriCoins.

Please share your dreams!
For me,  i want to be a successful business man someday when i have a plenty of money to use  when that happened,  i want also to have a lots of cars to be driven only by me.  And also i want to build a mansion someday for my family.
2850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: August 17, 2017, 02:07:10 PM
Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers
It is secure but in the past few days, i heard some news that there are many hacker thatare coming out to make our lives ruined. But i have a trust in the moderators that they will keep bitcoin secure and safe among the hackers.
2851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do i get free coins? on: August 14, 2017, 02:31:54 PM

2852  Economy / Economics / Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving? on: August 11, 2017, 03:16:48 PM
So I have 2 cousins. One of them doesn't save and is a huge spender while the other is a saver and spends only once a year. So would bitcoin be a good way to teach them about saving? Since, mining bitcoin is the only way to make alot of bitcoin, I would use a alt wallet to show them what happens if you spend and don't save. What do you think?
I think yes it can help many children to teach about saving money for there future. Iy can do by the people have a better knowledge about bitcoin and they can teach it to the kids out there.
2853  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: August 11, 2017, 02:09:32 AM
Definitely they realized that they are now belong to the million dollar club.  But as a bitcoin enthusiast the only millionaire in their eyes, probably, is have million BTC.  Cheesy.  In fact being involved in BTC activities every day makes me forget that my national currency is not Bitcoin but rather Peso, I believe this happen to many of us especially those who have thousands of BTC in their stash.
The new rich people realized thst they are now belong to the club of millionaires .in fact being involved in bitcoin activities makes many people forget there original currency because they seems to be satisfied of new currency which is bitcoin.
2854  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin for all levels of society, without any difference on: August 10, 2017, 02:39:29 PM
Bitcoin is decentralized so that whoever you are from wherever you are rich or poor, you are free to use bitcoin for any purpose. Bitcoin is freely used for anyone. anywhere

What is your response with this opinion?
Yes that's  true..  As far as i know bitcoin is made not only for those rich people but for all kinds of people living in this world. This bitcoin is free for everyone. This is built for any kind of people's purposes.  And this is made  to use by everyone.
2855  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: August 10, 2017, 02:09:11 PM
Forget about everything else and just put everything on bitcoin. You are living with your parents, they pay everything for you, you got nothing to lose. If I was living with my parents, I would save everything and buy bitcoin monthly. If BTC doesn't keep rising you can still reach the 21 BTC holder group, then save this and retire in 10 years when the price makes you a millionaire.

Go all in on regret later. You are on a privileged position to profit from high risk high reward moves. No risk no win, and BTC is the best long term high risk bet.
Yes, I agree with you men.  Besides you are living with your parents for a long time since they made you and now bitcoin is the way to repay them for all the efforts they done for you.  Start now as a young age to have some good future that you are taking for.  Be a productive person as a young people.
2856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much bitcoin do you need now to be a millionaire? on: August 10, 2017, 02:34:18 AM
Bitcoin now is over 3000 usd.  How much bitcoin would you say you need now to be a millionaire in the future?  I heard there is an expert that said bitcoin will hit 100k but this would take a very long time.  This is the guy that predicted bitcoin would hit 2k etc when very few ppl thought about this.

If bitcoin hits 100k a coin, you would need 10 bitcoin.  And of course, most people do not have 10 bitcoin or anywhere close to that amount unless they got bitcoin when it was very cheap... or of course they have a lot of money to invest.

To those of you with say 5 bitcoin, do you think its possible?  What about those with say 10 bitcoin?  I assume those people who got bitcoin earlier and got like 100 bitcoin probably feel very good about being a millionaire?  I don't think it would be possible to be a millionaire now with bitcoin if you are buying bitcoin now unless you have alot of money.
I don't know exactly amount of bitcoin that i need to become a millionaire. I believe that until i have so many income and it was continuously added, i think it was very near to me to become a millionaire someday. And besides, if bitcoin was keep pricing up,  i will earn that and i will exchange if that will be enough for me.
2857  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: August 06, 2017, 01:46:16 PM
Hi, I was wondering if I should quit my job and focus more on bitcoins? Because I think it might get me even richer without a job?  Grin

I think you can focus on both don't quit job yet.  Job is very important in anyone here in this world because that is the main source of income,  bitcoin is just another way to get easy income now a days. You can get richer if you do them both.

2860  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we push the actual use of Bitcoin ? on: August 04, 2017, 02:25:27 PM
There is no need of a pushing, let it grow on the gradual manner as it's now. If this needs to be promoted already several advertising might have been done, but in reality the growth is enormous and trustful through word of mouth rather than other means of promotion.
I agree, there is no need of pushing, let it go with the flow and besides there are many people believing that bitcoin is very useful nowadays. And there are many advertising that promotes the use of bitcoin so don't be worried.
